She smiled, and Stormfur smiled back, letting all his emotions swirl together in his eyes.

Crowfeather looked across the clearing and spotted Leafpool sitting with the other medicine cats. He wished that it was him sitting next to her and talking to her, gazing into her bright eyes, melting in her smile, instead of Littlecloud, ShadowClan's medicine cat. He growled very quietly. Why did he care?! For all he cared, she could jump off a cliff! But when she glanced his way and smiled in that cute way of hers, her head titled slightly to the left, he couldn't help feeling butterflies in his stomach. I pretend not, but I do care. He thought, smiling back.
