Hey, everyone! Before I start, I want to let you all know that I was recently contacted EquestrianGuard, saying that he/she wants to make a manga adaptation of Sahara for Deviantart! But to do that, he/she wants to get permission from all the creators of all the OCs from Sahara to use them in the manga adaptation. If you created an OC for Sahara, please review or let me know if it is okay with you if EquestrianGuard uses your OC for this manga adaptation. I am really excited to be working with E EquestrianGuard on this and hope that this becomes as big of a success that Sahara was. Enjoy!:

Chapter 14: Day 2

Dipper and Candy ran over to Deputy Durland and Sheriff Blubbs. Both police officers were still trying to recover from the tear gas.

"Guys, we found something that could be used as evidence!" Dipper exclaimed.

Sheriff Blubbs scowled. "What did you find?"

"This." Candy held out the picture she had found.

Blubbs snatched it from her and squinted at the photo. "So what?"

"There's a note on the back!" Dipper provided.

Sheriff Blubbs flipped over the picture, squinted at the note, and then shrugged. "All this gives us is a motive for a possible motive. Nothing else."

"What about the photo?" Candy asked. "Don't you think it's weird that Manly Dan is in the picture the kidnappers left behind? Shouldn't he be a possible suspect?"

"No, because you're just telling me a half-baked theory," Blubbs said. "Until you can find actual proof that links Manly Dan to the kidnappings, he is only a hostage."

Candy gave Dipper a look that said: We'll talk later.

Deputy Durland stood up. "Uh, boss. Shouldn't we be following the truck?"

"Oh, right, let's go!" Sheriff Blubbs led Durland, Dipper, Candy and the other officers back to the squad car. But once they got back there, they realized that their tires had been slashed.

"What the—" sputtered Sheriff Blubbs.

"Who would do this?" Dipper asked.

At that moment, Grunkle Stan walked into view. "Oh, hello officers! I noticed your tires were slashed."

"Yeah, do you know who did it?" Durland asked.

"No, but I'm about as shocked as you are," Grunkle Stan said flatteringly. "I can't believe someone would slash the tires of Gravity Falls' finest."

"I know, right?" Blubbs agreed.

"You know, I could sell you some tires back at the Shack," Stan said.

"You could?" Deputy Durland asked.

"But you don't sell tires at the Mystery Shack," Dipper pointed out.

"Oh, the kid's right, I'm out of stock," Grunkle Stan said. "But I could run out to my supplier and get some tires for you. In the meantime, you all can head down to the Shack and shop 'till you drop. Just for you, whatever you want to by will be… forty nine percent off."

"Deal!" Sheriff Blubbs said.

Candy looked shocked. "What about the truck."

Blubbs shrugged. "Eh, we tried."
