I'M BACK! DID YOU MISS ME? :D Sorry I haven't posted anything on this story. This was on an unofficial hiatus due to writer's block, no laptop, and family vacation. I will begin classes on Monday and high school starts next month so with all of the studying I will be doing I have no idea what the updates are going to be like. I will finish this story and have sequels since this is my most popular story. I also don't like to leave a story unfinished. So far this is my only incomplete story. I have another story idea about the Avengers and Danny Phantom. If I decide to start doing the story look at my profile it should be uploaded right after this. Sorry for the long author's note I just wanted to tell you awesome people what is happening.

McGonagall's POV

I've been following Raven and her friends around since Dumbledore told me to. I know they have a secret but they are good kids and I doubt they will do anything bad except prank some kids. They are quite curious though. They speak in a language that sounds older than ancient runes but when they do use English it is in whispers. In cat form I can hear what they are saying but in my human form I can't hear a thing. They usually talk about the Greek gods as if they are real and the monsters too. This made me check out some of the Greek textbooks from the library.

Severus seems to know what is happening but whenever I mention anything about Greeks he changes the subject. Not many would notice it but he stiffens slightly and has a guarded look in his eye. He knows Dumbledore gave me the job of finding out the secret but it is obvious that Snape will make sure no one finds out.

I have a suspicion about what they really are but it seems too impossible to be true and if it is I'm not sure if I should tell anyone, even Albus. I sighed getting back to checking the essays I assigned for the first years. It's not too long until I get to Raven and her friends' essays. They do fairly well in my class and Eric beats even the Ravenclaw first years that I'm surprised he isn't one also. Ash and Raven's essays are above the average.

Once all of the essays were graded, Granger's was extremely long, Eric's essays are longer than others but shorter than hers, I get up and walk to the great hall for dinner. I ran into a rather red Harry Potter. I mean his clothes, face and hair seems to be painted red and the paint seemed to be slapped on as if the person didn't care. Ron and Hermione came out after him. Ron, who was painted black and grey, rushed off with harry apparently to wash off the paint.

An unpainted Hermione spoke up noticing the red imprint of Harry on my green robes. "Professor, Raven and her friends did this. They said that Harry and Ron were jerks and deserved it and to be honest Harry insulted Ash and Ron insulted Raven. Harry and Ron sit in the same places all the time so they had balloons filled with paint above the seats. Sorry Professor." And she rushed off.

I magicked the paint off and went in. I saw Raven, Ash, and Eric talking and I went over to them. "Twenty points each for your prank! And I would suggest you don't do it again." I scolded them.

"Where's your proof that we did it professor?" Raven asked calmly.

"Miss Granger just informed me of what happened. Even if someone insults you, revenge is not the best option." I said sternly. Students would normally stop arguing but Raven didn't seem fazed and her friends weren't saying a thing.

"It's true that Ron and Harry insulted us but that doesn't mean that we were the one that painted them. So where is the evidence? People can lie you know." She said always looking me in the eyes. Another strange thing about Raven, her dark brown almost black eyes seem to make you think of death and I swear as a cat when she looks at me I see a glimpse of what happens after death. (A.N. my thoughts on why animals don't like children of Hades. When they look in their eyes they see glimpses of the underworld. And they smell like the underworld to animals.)

"How do I know you are not lying?" I countered.

"So you would believe Gryffindors but since I am a Slytherin I must be lying?" she said calmly.

"Miss Black you do not fool me. I know you and your friends did it. Now please behave before I take another ten points from you." I said.

"Well it was worth a try." She said shrugging her shoulders admitting they were the ones that did it.

"Not your best argument, Bones." I heard Ash say as I walked away.

I sat down at the teachers table and collected my food. Severus walked up to me and told me to come to his office since he had something he wanted to discuss with me.

Snape's POV

I need to find out how much McGonagall knows. I had contacted Chiron about my problem and he sent a letter saying that if she knows too much that I was to find out if she'll keep it a secret. If not I was to obliviate her. I waited in my office for her to come. I heard a knock on the door when I let her in I cast a silent muffliato to make sure no one was listening in.

"What is it you wanted to talk about Severus?" she said taking a seat.

"I know you are trying to find out Raven and her friend's secret. I just want to know what ideas you have. I could help." I said.

"Severus! Do you think that I am an idiot? I know you know their secret. They always talk to you and whenever I bring up anything about Greek Mythology you stiffen." She said scowling.

"How about this then tell me an idea. If it is close to the truth I will tell you what it is. If you are wrong you can leave." I said sharply.

She hesitated for two minutes and spoke one word. "Demigods."

She was unsure but correct.

"Your right." I said.

"But Gods?! That is impossible." She said looking at me as if I was crazy.

"You say the existence of gods are impossible yet magic exists." I replied.

"Let's say they do exist why is it that only you know about their secret?" she said.

"Wizards would treat them differently and mostly likely make laws against them learning. You know how they treat goblins and other magical creatures. They would be seen as magical creatures too. Usually the headmaster is told but the Gods do not trust him. You have to admit he likes to manipulate others to his will." I said urgently hoping she would understand.

She sat there thinking about it for a while. "I… I can't deny it. So you're asking me to keep this a secret?" she finally replied.

"No one else must know. Can I trust you to keep it secret and to make sure Dumbledore doesn't find out?" I asked.

"I'll keep it a secret and I do know Occlumency so I can keep Dumbledore and others from finding out." She said.

"Very well. Raven, Ash, and Eric you can come out now!" I called out to them and they came out from their hiding spot.

She looked at me confused as to why they were there.

"They needed to know how it turned out. Raven is a Child of Hades," Raven who was playing with a ball of shadows. "Eric is a child of Athena," Eric just nodded. "And Ash is a child of Ares" she was looking at the jars that lined the shelf.

"I guess that explains a lot." Was all she said, "Though you still aren't allowed to get away with breaking the rules."

"We know professor. Can we go now we need to study?" said Eric.

"You are no fun Owl head." Said Ash jokingly.

"Yes you may go." I said. They left as I started to explain everything else to McGonagall.
