Chapter 14
A Happy Ending
Hazel's POV
That night, we went to a seafood restaurant. It was all Leo's idea. He said he wanted to rub in his victory to the world. Smh. He's never tried octopus before, so he ordered fried octopus. He said it was like eating Drew the Oversized Octopus. I, Hazel Levesque, would never eat octopus. It's so slimy and gross. *shudders*.
Leo poked at an octopus with his fork. "These are really good."
Piper looked queasy. "I can't believe I agreed to come here." She lifted some seaweed it her mouth. "Isn't that gross and slimy and rubbery? I mean eating meat is already bad, but octopus? Agh. The only thing I can actually eat here is this seaweed salad which is actually really good."
"Hmm," Leo smacked his lips and thought for a bit. "It does feel a little rubbery. But it tastes awfully delicious."
"I don't know about the delicious part," I said. "But it sure looks awful."
Leo rolled his eyes. "You guys have no idea what you're missing. Especially you, Beauty Queen. I can't believe you've never tried meat."
"I have tried meat," Piper said. "Then I came across a slaughterhouse and..." Piper shuddered.
"I'm not even going to ask," Annabeth took a bite of her fried fish.
"Oh," Piper said. "Leo. I want to show you something."
Leo set down his fork. "Uh, okay."
We all leaned in and Piper played a video on YouTube. On the video Leo smiled happily and said, " I see lollipops and unicorns! HEHEHE!"
"Now I'm starting to worry about him," Annabeth's voice said from somewhere else.
"Worry about who?" Leo asked. He tapped his chin and raised his hand. "Ooh! Pick me!"
The real Leo turned red as we watched the video. "What the heck? Where'd you get this? I don't remember any of it!"
Piper shut off her phone. "It was when we were coming back from the Princess and the Frog. You started acting nuts. Thanks to you, I have thousands of subscribers on YouTube and millions of views! Thanks, Repair Boy!"
"What?" Leo exclaimed. "I can't believe you! Millions of people saw me acting stupid? Floating around in a bunch of rainbows? PIPER!"
Piper shrugged. "Hey, at least we're out of that place now."
"Yeah," Rachel popped in. "I could've been worse. I could've been stuck in the Little Mermaid forever if it wasn't for you guys." She blushed,
"I'm just glad we survived it all," Annabeth said.
"And I couldn't have asked for more."
