Here's Chapter 14. Sorry that its a bit shorter than the others.
8:11 P.M.
Hisana kneeled on the ground, cradling her sister's unconscious body in her arms. Her fiancé, Byakuya, was currently standing near her, with a katana raised above his head. He was waiting for her to stand away from the Vampire in her arms so he could deal the finishing blow.
"Hisana, please…" he said.
"I won't let you hurt her!" she said.
"She's a Vampire." He said.
"She's still my sister." Hisana said.
Just then, smoke appeared everywhere, filling the entire area.
Hisana began coughing, when she felt someone wrap their arms around her. After that, everything was a blur, as if she was moving at unbelievable speeds. When she finally stopped, it took her a moment to regain her bearings. After the dizzyiness faded, she found that she was in front of a third floor apartment door, with Rukia still in her arms. The black-clad figure responsible for rescuing her quickly opened the door and pulled Hisana inside. He took Rukia from her arms and laid her on the couch. He pulled off his hood, allowing Hisana to see who it was.
"I-Ichigo?" she asked.
"Hey, Hisana. I was heading to work when I got a call telling me to stay home. I decided to go to Rukia's place but when I got close, the scent of her blood hit my nose. I knew she was in trouble, so I came to her rescue. I must've grabbed you too." Ichigo explained.
"How did you…We were just…" Hisana stuttered.
"Well, you see…" Ichigo said.
"I-Ichi…"
Both turned to Rukia, who was still lying on the couch. She had one eye barely open and was looking at Ichigo.
"Rukia, don't try to talk. Just rest. You got shot twice!" Ichigo said, rushing to Rukia's side.
"Ichigo…Hisana…m-memories…erased…make her…remember…" Rukia mumbled before passing out again.
"So I hope that means there's an easier way of explaining." He said, standing up.
He turned around and looked straight into Hisana's eyes. His turned blood-red.
Hisana then found that she could no longer move, and once again, experienced major déjà vu.
"Hisana, you are going to remember everything that Rukia made you forget." Ichigo said.
Hisana's eyes went wide as memories filled her head. She fell to her knees and closed her eyes as she took it all in.
"Rukia, I know you would never lie to me, and even when you do, you always have a good reason for it."
It took Hisana a moment to take everything in. Rukia was a Vampire. And she just saw Hisana.
"Hisana, I'm a Vampire." Rukia said, her crimson eyes filled with shame.
"Hisana, you are going to forget all of this. After I left for work, you spent two hours watching TV, then you fell alseep. Now..." Rukia said before snapping her fingers.
Hisana's eyes snapped open. She stood up, her eyes wide.
"Y-you...you're Vampires." she said. "I saw you kill that janitor a few days ago, and Rukia erased my memory."
"I see. Well, yeah. In case she didn't tell you, I was the one who turned her into a Vampire, but I did it to save her life. If I hadn't-" Ichigo said frantically.
"Its okay, Ichigo." Hisana interrupted, "Rukia told me everything. I have nothing against you. In fact, I should probably be thanking you for saving my sister's life." Hisana said.
"Of course. You're welcome, I guess." Ichigo said. He then turned to Rukia, who was still unconscious and bleeding.
"Wait here, I have a first aid kit in my bedroom." Ichigo said.
He then ran off into another room. A few seconds later, he came out with a first aid kit.
He set it on the table and pulled out various objects.
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. My dad was a doctor." He said as he turned Rukia on her stomach and began treating the wound on her back.
Toshiro and Rangiku walked down the sidewalk looking around.
"Are you sure we're heading in the right direction?" Toshiro asked, scowling.
"Of course. The place is huge, and flashy. I'm sure this it the right way." Rangiku said.
"Well I think we're going the wrong way." said Toshiro.
"Rangiku! Shiro!"
The two Hunters turned around and saw Momo running towards them.
"Momo? Did you kill 'em?" Rangiku asked. Momo shook her head.
"No, Mr. Kuchiki showed up and told he to go to you two. He was about to finish her." Momo said.
"Well, we're going to that restaurant to see if we can find any others. Why don't you come along?" Rangiku offered.
"Won't we cause a scene?" Momo asked.
"Hey, she's right." Toshiro said.
"If I recall, you were the one who came up with the idea." Rangiku said.
"We should still go. If we find any Vampires there, we'll just lure them away and then kill them there." Momo said.
"Great idea." Rangiku said.
"I bet I'll make the first kill." Toshiro said, smirking.
"Please, I'll kill them all before you even get there." Momo said, matching Toshiro's smirk.
"Well then, I guess the first one to get there gets first dibs." Toshiro said.
"Alright then. Readysetgo!" Momo shouted.
They took off in opposite directions, with Toshiro going the way he was already heading.
"Thats the wrong way!" Momo shouted.
"Dammit Rangiku, I told you!" Toshiro shouted, turning around and running after Momo.
Rangiku smiled at the two. She was glad that they were still able to act young.
She couldn't help but flashback to the way things were eight years ago.
The smile vanished as she remembered how their childhood was ripped away from them.
And how part of it was her fault.
Well, next chapter is gonna be some Hunter backstory.
Like most backstories in anime, its gonna be a bit tragic.
