As Leiko begins the ritual all anybody could do was stand there in shock of what just happened. Those that knew Leiko especially were in shock of how strong she had become to pull off that fight. Everybody watching from the guild hall was in complete amazement of the demonstration of power.
"She had that power the whole time?" Yuri thinks out loud to nobody in particular. "If she would've used that power on me when we fought I would not be here"
Meanwhile, on the other side of Fairy Tail's guild hall Misha and Nalien heard the commotion and decided that Leiko might need there help only to get there as Leiko transformed. And the end of the fight Leiko's two best friends were as stunned as everyone else and looking for an explanation.
"Have you ever seen her use that power before?" Nalien asks Misha with an astonished look on his face
"No I've never seen HER use it before?" Misha says emphasizing her in the sentence.
"you wanna clarify?" Nalien asks picking up on it.
"I've seen Master use something like it before" Misha continues. "Well, the hell hounds anyway. I thought he and his brother were the only ones capable of using dark magic like that. I always had my suspicions about Leiko's magic but now I'm sure..."
"What you think Leiko is Master Crowne's kid or something?" Nalien ask half joking.
"No nothing that crazy." Misha continues "Leiko knows who her parents are, she may not like them or for that matter talk about them ever, but she knows them. All my theory consist of is that Leiko managed to get her magic from not exactly Master, but a Crowne."
"You're a smart one" Erza says as she walks up behind them only hearing Misha's final theory. "I think it's about time we all had a conversation with your Master. Don't you?"
Meanwhile Ryoga just woke up inside Quatra's mind, absolutely livid. Once he gets off the ground he goes and searches for the only other person that might have an answer. He goes into the chamber that holds the soul of the real owner of the body.
"Quatra!" Ryoga yells as he enters the chamber. "Explain now!" Quatra just starts to laugh while still chained to the chair. "Why does that girl have the magic of a Crowne? Just who is that girl? And how did you stop me from dodging that blast?"
"I thought I explained it already." Quatra says as he stops laughing "Leiko is just Leiko, and your control is weakened by emotion just as mine is. I just waited on the right opportunity and she gave it to me."
"But that doesn't explain her magic, What do you know?" Ryoga says staring down the boy in the chair.
"More than most on the subject" Quatra says with a smirk. "I also know this magic presence so that can only mean that Leiko is here, in our cluster of a mind. She must have learned the sealing technique from Titania. Which also means she is on her way to put you back in your cage."
"Is she now?" Ryoga says regaining his composure and showing some kind of wicked smile. "you mean she is coming here? Where I have full range of not only my motor skills, but also my magic that your body rejects." Ryoga says as he starts laughing. "This works out five times better than originally planned."
"You already underestimated her once..." Quatra starts
"Yes, once" Ryoga cuts him off as he walks towards him. "you see Quatra, you fool me once I can't be fooled again. Now I know how strong she is and even with all that power now that I can use my magic it doesn't make any difference. She cannot beat me at full strength and you know that. Don't you?" Ryoga finishes right in front Quatra crooked smile at it's biggest.
"She doesn't need to win she just needs to seal you." Quatra says warily but starts thinking to himself 'but does she know that'
" We'll just have to wait and see now won't we?" Ryoga says as he materializes a chair from thin air and positions it so he can sit facing Quatra. He sits down facing Quatra and sits and stares at him.
"You're not just gonna stare at me the whole time, are you?" Quatra ask slightly agitated.
"Yup so you don't pull anything sneaky." Ryoga says with a his crooked smile. But little did he know Quatra had already set a plan into motion.
Now Back to Leiko, She find herself in a dimly lit corridor light coming from candles hanging from the wall with two wooden doors at the end.
"Why does everything have to be a paradox with you Quatra!?" Leiko yells at nobody in particular "This is infuriating!" she continues to yell as she makes her way two the doors "I mean is it too much to ask for a sign or a guide or something! A sticky note, a not so sticky note, a compass, anything!" She continues yelling as she makes it to the doors.
"Alright calm down Leiko I just gotta think this one through. Alright, left or right, left or right, Left..." She says while stepping over to the door on the right. "or Right" she says while going to the other door. 'Quatra give me a sign' she thinks to herself as she waits for the sign.
As she gives up and walks towards the door on the left, she feels some grab her pant leg. She looks down and notices a baby with brown hair and brown eyes in nothing but a diaper.
"Oh My God!" Leiko says as she looks down at the child "you're so adorable." She continues as she picks up the baby. "Are you Quatra's sign?" she asks as she holds the baby in front of her. The baby starts giggling and pointing to the door on the right. 'This baby is the only lead I have to finding Quatra' She thinks to herself. "Might as well go with door number 2." Leiko says as she walks toward the door on the right. "Let's go little guy."
Back in Crocus, Tushika has just woken up to the guild in shambles along with the surrounding area. As he wakes up he looks for Aquilla but cannot find her. So he walks out and goes to what used to be the bar and finds Quezt and Rieti trying to fix the bar.
"Quezt out of all the places to fix why are you at the bar?" Rieti asks with a skeptical look on his face.
"Because without the bar and common area where would all the people who depend on this place for camaraderie go?" Quezt replies while cleaning up the rubble. "This place is Lions Mane and if I can get this area cleaned up I can start having fun again."
"And if I had to guess the venders said that they wouldn't deliver any alcohol to Lions Mane until it's up and running." Tushika adds as he announces his presence. Noticing Quezt and Rieti face of sadness and pity towards him Tushika starts to wonder why.
"Why are you looking at me like that? What happened?" Tushika asks. Rieti was about to answer but Quezt beat him to it.
"No one has told you about Aquilla and Quatra huh?" Quezt asks
"What happened to Aquilla?" Tushika asked in a panic "What happened to Quill?"
Aquilla was enraged. To come back from her fight with Jin to seeing bodies on the floor of the hall was a shock to say the least. The bodies of her guildmates, of her family were being trampled on by mages of Mastodon. The senseless bloodshed is enough to make anybody mad.
"What the hell is going on? where are Tushika and the rest of the S Class?" she shouted to nobody in particular. She then notices Misha engaged in a fight close by with a Mastodon grunt. With a quick, fluid like movement she disposed of the guy Misha was fighting and they came to a stop amidst all the chaos.
"Misha, how did all of this happen?" Aquilla asks with a serious look "and where are Tushika and the rest of the S Class?"
"Well..." Misha says "Tushika was the first S Class back to the guild after a fight with Rieti. He's currently in a fight with some strong metal freak that left the hall and migrated down the street. Quezt is protecting Master on his trip to the guilds in the alliance. Apophis...you got me there and Quatra is on his way to Magnolia, he is supposed to take over guard duty from Quezt there."
Aquilla couldn't believe what she was hearing, the only S-Class is Tushika. 'How does this happen when the guild is under attack? There must have been a mole?' she thinks to herself as more grunts start to flood her and Misha. Aquilla then starts to sing causing all the grunt to stop moving. As she continues to sing all the grunts start attacking each other giving her a moment to think rationally. Misha and the rest of the guild started to breath a little easier seeing this.
"I have never been happier that you can sing Aquilla" Misha says with her happy go lucky smile. But her words fell upon deaf ears
Aquilla was distracted. Tushika is stronger than her and he was having trouble with whoever he was fighting. She just felt than Tushika needed help, her help. She was just standing there, she needed to go now. So she took off as fast as she could in the direction she felt Tushika's presence starting to fade.
"Aquilla wait" Misha yells but it falls upon deaf ears once again as Aquilla takes off only thinking of Tushika.
Just as Aquilla is leaving the guild someone attacks her knocking her into the road.
"I don't have time for this!" Aquilla yells in frustration as she stares at the woman who attacked her. "I don't know who you are Mastodon trash but if you want to live you will get out of my way!"
"My name ..." the woman states "Is Sahara Su and this is nothing personal but I can't let you interfere with Daze's assignment."
"Get. Out. Of. My. Way." Aquila says through clenched teeth her emotions starting to get the best of her. "NOW!"
"Like I Previously stated I can't allow that." Sahara stated "This is my warning, if you try to get past me you will die."
Aquilla seeing that words are pointless at this point charges Sahara while drawing her sword. She attempts to behead Sahara who ducks her sword and punches her twice in the midsection causing her to fly into the rubble across the street. Aquilla then writes a rune across her chest using her sword to harden her skin then charges Sahara again. Aquilla swing the sword but Sahara caught her by the wrist and hits her square in the nose causing it to break, then without letting go kicks her in the face twice before kicking her in the face one more time while doing a back flip, the force causing her to fall backwards onto the ground.
'I wrote a rune to harden, why isn't this working?' Aquilla thinks to herself as she finally starts to calm down and think.
"If you're wondering why this fight is so one sided..." Sahara starts "it's because I cheated and you let you're anger get the best of you and cloud your judgment." she states as she eyes her fallen opponent. "I'm not normally one to give the answers to the test but since I already won there is no harm."
Sahara then walks over to a random mountain of debris and takes a seat. "Your name is Aquilla Sean Tukumi, your primary magic is that voice of yours but you have yet to use it because your anger at the entire situation understandably ruffled you. Your main goal was not to subdue, or detain, or capture, hell not even to get by me like you were so intent to do in the first place. Your goal became to kill me because of your anger. Which, might I add is rare for someone who controls their emotions as well as you. Anyway back to what I know about you. Your "best friend" is Tushika Takamoto you are both good with a sword but he and Quatra Mikazuchi are in another weight class and the bothers you."
"How do you know all of this?" Aquilla ask strangely calm as she struggles to stand.
"Because..." Sahara states as she stands to walk towards Aquilla "This and everything has gone according to plan by Marilyn Crowne for the past month. It actually scares me how much he knows but because of how much he knows, I have the upper hand in this fight. Do you even know what type of magic I use?" she asks
"I don't think you even use magic" Aquilla says as she struggles to stand. Her vision is starting to get blurry and she feels a tad bit...
"I bet you could use a drink of water right now" Sahara says "Starting to feel like you're walking through a desert. Feel like you're gonna pass out any minute. Well I can't give you all the answers but I will say that if you figure out what type of magic I use you can live longer than the next 12 hours." She finishes as she started to walk away.
