Gabriel didn't have much time. He made sure everything was ready though.

She stepped in carefully, hearing Chat's steps behind her. She tried to hold her balance. She had almost spoken before, almost given a gasp. That could have been a disaster. She could have lost the akuma. She tried to bring her attention to the things going on around her now.

She didn't know what to expect from this situation, yet she was totally sure Hawkmoth was here. Was Adrien...?

He was surprised and also felt deceived. He guessed it was probably his father's hiding spot. It was the portrait he had found that ancient book about miraculouses. What was his father's role in this? Was he like Marinette, a miraculous holder?

Gabriel hid there waiting for them to come up.

She could see a little spot of light getting closer and also the strength of the power. She halted making Chat bump into her.

"What's the problem? Are you losing control again?" she heard him say, He sounded very worried.

She shook her head giving him a small but sincere smile. She heard a voice, a squeaky one.TIKKI!

She ran forgetting to be careful.

He heard the click and saw her getting trapped. He ran to her.

"CATACLYSM!" he cried. He didn't want to lose her again. The trap disintegrated.

"What a surprise, I didn't expect you to be here," he heard Hawkmoth. He turned around. Marinette got up, she seemed to be walking towards Tikki. He stood in front of her, giving her time. He could hold back Hawkmoth...Yes!...maybe...

She left them in the back proceeding towards Tikki again.

"Don't come near me Marinette, I am surrounded with traps," Tikki said in a weak voice.

That wasn't such a set back, she could transform then. Tikki would have to transform her, she could escape.

"I can't transform you I am surrounded by magic walls, they won't let me come through. Even if these walls weren't here I am too weak," Tikki wheezed.

He didn't know how long he could hold he was about to detransform any moment. He saw her come out but she wasn't Ladybug yet. He panted as Hawkmoth came at him again. One claw left.

Gabriel saw him detransforming.

She saw it too. Chat was detransforming. Golden hair, green eyes...Adrien!

"Oh!" she gasped seeing the boy drop from exhaustion. She realized what she had done.

'The balance!'

I hope you enjoyed reading this chapter. I feel like I haven't written in forever, even though it has just been a day!
