You've been on Zuko's ship for a little over a week, and so far you haven't seen land. Zuko said that you're headed to the South Pole. You suddenly became very hopeful because you thought that Kaito could have escaped and went to the South Pole.

Anyway you're sitting with Iroh drinking tea while Prince Zuko is training with three of the crewmembers you really wanted to train but decided not to ask. You were also a bit distracted because Zuko likes to train without a shirt. Iroh must have noticed because he called Prince Zuko over.

"Prince Zuko don't you think miss Kana would want to train too" Iroh bellowed from across the ship.

Prince Zuko kicked fire at one of the men then began walking towards you and Iroh. "Kana do you want to train?" Prince Zuko asked slightly confused.

"If you don't mind, I really want to" you said sweetly. Prince Zuko nodded as if to say no problem.

"Lets see what you can do!" Iroh said enthusiastically "spar with Prince Zuko" he added after a moment.

You stood up and fixed your skirt. You and Prince Zuko walked to where he was training before. You realized that Prince Zuko has never seen you fight before.

"I'll go easy on you" Prince Zuko said kindly, he meant well, it wasn't meant to be an insult

Of course he was underestimating you. Everyone does. Even though you've kicked Kaito's ass many times he still underestimates you. Everyone thinks that just because you're female and somewhat tiny you can't fight. Well Prince Zuko is in for a surprise. You giggled at the thought.

"What's so funny?" Prince Zuko asked curiously but still childishly.

"Oh nothing, nothing at all" you giggled. "Lets start" you stated seriously.

"Ladies first" Prince Zuko said politely. You nodded.

Prince Zuko was very surprised to find himself on the ground. In a matter of seconds you had kicked his legs out from under him, forcing him to land flat on his ass. He stared at you in amazement; well until the crew started laughing at him. You offered your hand to help him up. He ignored your hand and got up by himself.

'Oh great' you thought sarcastically 'he's mad at me' you frowned.

"I'm sorry Prince Zuko but it's really annoying that everyone underestimates me" you said hoping he'd understand and forgive you.

"Lets just spar" he mumbled under his breath. You looked down sadly, Prince Zuko didn't seem to notice.

You got into a defensive firebending stance. Prince Zuko aggressively shot fire at you; you swiftly dodged most of them, though you did have to block a few. You flipped over him, as you flipped you shot a ring of fire around him. As you landed behind him you kicked two long strand of fire at him but he managed to dodge and block them.

Prince Zuko continued to shoot fire at you aggressively. One of the fire blasts got your long hair, luckily it wasn't burned just a little singed. You ran full speed at him as he shot fire at you; you were able to dodge almost everything. You only had to block one or two blasts, but one caught the edge of you skirt.

You were only about two feet away from him when he shot a powerful blast at you. Thankfully you have extremely fast reflexes because you were able to duck and kick Prince Zuko's feet out from under him in one swift motion. As he fell you grabbed his wrist twisting his arms behind him, softening his landing and making sure he stayed where he landed. After a few seconds you released him, stood up and offered your hand to help him up.

Prince Zuko just stared at you. After a few seconds he stood up without your help.

"Nice fight, Prince Zuko, the best I've had in a long time" you said brightly with a smile.

Prince Zuko completely ignored you and stormed off.

'I'm such an idiot, I should have let him win' you thought sadly 'now he's mad at me'

You decided to avoid him for the rest of the day. If he was on deck you were below it, if he was in the control room you were in the galley, during meals you stayed on the deck. You stayed away from his room. Currently you're on deck, leaning on the railing. its dark now and sleep is threatening to take you but you refused to go to Zuko's room. You hated how he looked at you when he stormed off. You were afraid that he would look at you like that again.

(Zuko)

'I can't believe Kana beat me, in front of my crew' you thought in annoyance.

All day the crew has snickered and joked about it, you angrily shot fire at the wall.

Soon you lay down and decided to go to sleep in attempt to forget the events of today. Just as you were about to close your eyes there was a knock on the door. You tried to ignore it but they kept knocking.

You got up and almost tripped over the armor you were too lazy to put away. You answered the door angrily.

"What!" you yelled at the person.

"Oh good Prince Zuko you're awake" Uncle said cheerfully. You groaned in annoyance. "Has Kana come inside yet?" Iroh questioned as he tried to peek around you to see if Kana was there.

"No" you mumbled in annoyance.

Uncle frowned "she said she would come in a few hours ago" Uncle said

Well now it's almost three in the morning, come to think of it you haven't seen Kana all day

"Kana has been avoiding you all day" Uncle commented it was almost as if he read your thoughts. Sometimes that really creeped you out. Uncle always seems to know what you were thinking.

"Why?" you asked suddenly concerned.

"It might have to do with the way you stormed off after the fight or how you didn't take her help twice. Prince Zuko you hurt her feelings" Uncle explained.

Ok now you feel like a complete asshole.

"Oh and during your fight it seemed like you were really trying to hurt her" Uncle added.

Uncle always knows how to make you feel worse. You let your anger get the best of you and you really were trying to hurt her... you let your anger out on Kana, she probably hates you now. 'I'm so screwed up' you thought miserably.

You pushed past Uncle not even bothering to put a shirt on. You searched the whole ship for Kana. You finally found her in the last place you looked, she was on deck leaning on the railing looking out into the sea.

Kana's long hair looked silvery in the moonlight and flowed around her slender form. The moonlight made her pale skin seem to glow. She is so beautiful you couldn't help but stare. You noticed that her skirt was burned on one side.

'I did that' you thought. The site of the burn made one side of her otherwise perfect skirt tattered and ruined, you could see the material fraying. It made you sick to see that you were so close to burning her.

You heard footsteps as someone else joined you on the deck. You already had a pretty good idea who it was so you weren't surprised when you turned around to see Prince Zuko. Though you were surprised at how the moonlight made his pale skin seem to glow. You also noticed that he wasn't wearing a shirt and that now was not the time to think about that. He was staring at you.

Prince Zuko sheepishly walked over to you, you blushed because in the moonlight Prince Zuko looked hotter than usual. Good thing its dark out.

"Kana come inside, it late" Prince Zuko said tiredly.

Your heart sank you were hoping for an apology or a why are you out here. You sighed "I'm fine out here" you replied as you turned back to the ocean.

"I know that you've been avoiding me" Prince Zuko stated. You waited for him to continue. "Why?" he asked.

"I didn't think knocking you down would be such a big deal" you said, by the sound of your voice anyone could tell that you're hurt, you continued to look at the ocean, you can feel Prince Zuko's eyes on you.

"Kana I'm sorry, I didn't mean...I mean I let my anger control my actions, i never meant to hurt you, could you forgive me?" Prince Zuko asked feeling ashamed.

You turned to him with a soft smile. "Yeah I think I can do that" you replied.
