Chapter 14.
"Braille? You have got to be kidding me Gumi! Is this seriously what you do in your spare time? Read BRAILLE?!" Rin said standing off the bed leaving the paper behind...
"Luka can read braille... Oh come on she lives on the other end of town... This. Is. Ridiculous." Rin said looking at the note again, in the corner of her eye she looked back at the wardrobe only to see Gumi wasn't there...
"G... Gumi?" Rin said walking towards the wardrobe, she turned round sharply at the sound of someone outside the room, panicking Rin climbed into the wardrobe and closed herself in.
'This is insane, no one here is alive right? Well at least not moving because that's what he said I'm sure... This is completely freaky as hell... So I need to take the note and go to Luka? No that would take too long... Wait a minute... He didn't give me a time scale or limit or anything... OH COME ON! This seriously couldn't... You know what I'm not ever going to say it because it would happen, that's the luck I seem to be getting today...' Rin lifted her hand onto the door to feel more Braille,
"What's this?" Rin whispered unlocking her phone and shining the light onto the paper,
"Basic Braille?" Rin peeled the paper off and looked at it in detail,
"Great! But that's not possible because that means that there isn't any... Is that... This is far too difficult." Rin said sitting in the wardrobe. She turned her head to the right to look in the rest of the wardrobe to see Gumi's body standing there staring at her with those empty eyes... She screamed looking up at the roof and sitting up on her bed in rather a fast motion to take a moment to return to reality...
"Len? Luka? Sam? Grell? What's going on? Why am I at home? I was at Gumi's and there was..." Rin babbled,
"Rin calm down, before I left you like passed out and fell on the floor. Are you feeling alright? Anything you want or need?" Luka said holding onto her hand,
"Water. Please." Rin said relaxing a little before lying down again, "That was so scary Luka. Please don't ever let that happen again. Ohmaigawd GUMI!" Rin leaped out of bed and grabbed her phone off the window sill. She called Gumi right away,
"Gumi are you okay?" Rin rushed down the phone line,
-Yes I'm fine Rin, is everything okay? You sound a little out of breath there.-
"No, it's just... You left Miku's house a little upset and I was just worried about you because I hadn't heard from you since, I'll see you at school tomorrow." Rin said relaxing even more,
-School isn't on tomorrow there was an incident with the roof and it's fallen in on all the science and language rooms, it's not a safe structure anymore until they fix it but there isn't one at the area to ransfer us to... So we just need to stay off, can you apologize to Miku for me? She isn't answering my messages.-
"Well that's not good then, and of course I'll tell her, hey are you free tomorrow?" Rin said
-I should be, I'll go check and text you later okay?-
"Got it. Bye Gumi. Sorry about acting so weird." Rin said before hanging up and placing her phone back down on the window ledge.
"Rin... Why don't you lie down for a bit?" Len said going to get her a glass of water,
"LEN WAIT!" Rin shouted,
"WHAT?" Len ran back in,
"Take someone with you... Don't go down alone." Rin said looking at Sam and Grell,
"Please." Rin said smiling at them,
"Okay guys let's go then." Len said nodding at Grell and Sam to follow him, Rin sat back onto the bed at looked at Luka,
"Want to see if Miku can come for a practice tomorrow with Gumi? For the part time thing at that food place?" Rin said crossing her legs facing Luka,
"I guess, that would be fun." Luka said brightening up because if that was Rin appearing to be better then no point in being a downer and full of doom and gloom,
"So, we all go to Miku's place right?" Rin said looking at the window, "we go tomorrow." Rin said smiling and walking over,
"Rin, school's go back tomorrow." Luka said confused,
"Nope, the cancelled again because the roof fell in." Rin said picking up her phone,
"Here just text them on mines." Rin said handing Luka her phone, "I'm on that deal remember?" she continued handing her phone over, at this point Len and the others returned,
"Rin... I thought you were going to lie down?" Len said handing her the water,
"Why on Earth would I do that? I feel fine I promise. School's off tomorrow and we were thinking practice at Miku's place, up for it Len?" Rin said drinking the water afterwards,
"Yeh sure that sounds great." Len said smiling,
"What's this?" Grell said walking over,
"It's a part time job type thing, we basically just need to provide live music at this food place and get paid for it." Rin said smiling,
"Wow. That's good for you guys." Sam said walking over to Rin...
"Wait a minute..." Rin starting walking over to him raising a hand to his face,
"Who are you?" She continued... At that moment he turned into paper and detached into over a million pieces of small paper squares on the floor, Rin looked down and went to touch it... "There's a red one in here." She said picking up the one small piece of paper that was smaller than the tip of her finger,
"That's the one part of him that was human." Grell said looking at the ankle high pile of paper now on the floor,
"That one bit out that whole pile." Grell said smiling, "They didn't think he was good enough so they changed him and fixed him up and changed things about him, experimented to see how much a human body could literally take before it was destroyed by it's self and lost the sense to be called a 'human body' he was at his limits, when you asked him who he was? He couldn't answer you because technically he wasn't anybody, there wasn't enough of him left big enough to answer you, he was told his name and that you were Kagamine Rin and you were the love of his life. That was all there was to it. Everything else wasn't meant to be told, it was just useless information that was deleted and modified to be made better. So he started to think about who he was and so... It was then he remembered everything they had done to him and it was too much for the "brain" to handle so it shut down and he broke." Grell said looking down at the pile and then to the others, "Don't worry about me, I was merely his guide, who followed and protected him to make sure he was successful in his mission that was all and also to protect others from him." Grell said walking towards the window, "Now that he's gone, it won't be long before I am either given a new mission or merely destroyed as well."
"No Grell you can't!" Luka said standing off the bed grabbing his hand,
"You aren't like him." she said hugging onto him tightly,
"Oh." Grell said standing straighter,
"What is it? What's wrong?" Luka said holding onto his shoulders looking up into his eyes,
"My new mission..." Grell started, "Is to preserve human life and understand their ways and rules." he said looking at them, "You may be stuck with me for a while." Grell laughed before hugging onto Luka,
"That's great, hey you can come and watch out thing at the food place?" Rin said smiling,
"Yeah, and then you can hear music, with instruments and voices and singing and..." Len stared,
"Food. You can eat our food too and drinks and socializing with other people." Luka finished,
"That would make it right." Grell said,
"Ready?" Rin said, Luka and Len nodded.
"Plan." They all said in unison.
It was the next morning when Luka, Rin and Len all woke up in Rin and Len's house again, Luka just spent the night but told her Mom and Dad first because that really would make them worry about her, her being gone for a while with no communication but it wasn't exactly the easiest of days,
"Morning." The voice behind her said, Luka turned over to see Len,
"Hey..." Luka said smiling and sitting up but to her surprise Len leaped on her and pinned her down,
"Not. So. Fast." Len said leaning into her, he was not literally lying on top of her but wasn't squishing her so it was okay,
"When was the last time you kissed me?" Len said smirking,
"The last time we-" Luka wasn't allowed to finish her sentence apparently because Len obviously had more important things in mind,
"I didn't finish." Luka said smirking at him,
"I didn't really want you to." said Len getting off her,
"Come on let's go down the stairs, also before you freak out later, Grell left last night to see someone about this "mission" thing they put him up for." Len said walking out the room with Luka close behind him. They walked down the stairs and saw Rin sitting in the kitchen drinking some tea,
"Kettle's still warm if you want some?" Rin said standing up,
"No, it's cool, we're fine, aren't we Luka?" Len said wrapping a strand of her hair around his finger pulling on it slightly to lead her to the table,
"Yeah, we're fine thanks." Luka said taking her hair back,
"That was mean." she pointed out,
"You wouldn't move before me." Len said smirking into her eyes,
"Ugh, will you two stop with the flirting in front of me... Or is this like foreplay to Len?" Rin said putting her mug in the sink,
"RIN!" Len shouted, "CROSSING BOUNDRIES DON'T YOU THINK?" he continued to yell at her,
"REALLY? I'M THE ONE CROSSING BOUNDRIES? DARE I REMIND YOU OF WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME YOU WERE IN THE HOUSE ALONE, THEN WHAT HAPPENED AFTER I GOT BACK?!" Rin yelled in response,
"DON'T. YOU. DARE." Len said,
"Guys please stop yelling." Luka said standing up and pouring a glass of water,
"You two are way to loud in the mornings." she took a drink and emptied the remaining water down the drain,
"Sorry Luka." Len and Rin said together, looking at each other,
"Hey, I got a message from Miku." Luka said looking at her phone,
"What does it say?!" Rin said smiling,
"We're aloud to go to practice and Gumi is even coming as well, she's asked what time we want to go over for?" Luka said looking up from the phone,
"How about half one?" Rin suggested,
"Well it's elven now so.. Yeah. I'll tell Miku, k?" Luka said texting her back, as per usual and Rin and Len were staring at each other with intense eyes and hatred with anger in their glares.
"Please don't tell me this is what I think it is?" Luka said looking displeased,
"Please." Luka said looking at them but the glaring continued, "I thought you guys were over this phase..." Luka said sighing and sitting at the table... "Fine..." She stood up and walked towards the door frame, stood just in front of the gap and placed her arms out straight,
"3."

"1."
"Go!" Luka said and within a minute they both ran past her as she dropped her arms and curled into a ball as Rin walked back into the kitchen,
"He got there first." Rin said sadly,
"I can't believe you still race to get to the shower first, don't get me wrong it's cute but... Really?" Luka said sitting down opposite Rin.
Rin started laughing what seemed like no reason.
"Rin what's funny?" Luka said,
"3...2...1" Rin laughed hysterically and there was a REALLY girly scream that came from up the stairs and Len came running down with a towel around his waist,
"YOU TURNED THE HOT WATER OFF YOU WITCH" Len yelled at her, Luka sighed again and stood from her spot, Rin still dying of laughter in her seat with her head on the desk,
"I'm going first because this is stupid and then I'll decide who goes next. Got it?" Luka said walking out.
"Okay Luka." Len said but Rin was evidently not speaking any time soon.
Luka walked down the stairs in her clothes with her hair up in a turban style thing she had done with the towel,
"Rin go." Luka said smiling before walking to the kettle, "Want tea Len?" Luka asked turning to look at him, he was flabbergasted,
"You... I... I thought you loved me." Len said turning away from her,
"I do. I do. I'm sorry. It's just. I wanted us to have some... Less Rin time before going to Miku. That's all." Luka said hugging onto him from behind over the chair,
"So... I'm your boyfriend huh?" Len said smiling and moving his body around almost in a dance like nature,
"Yes, Len." Luka said going to walk back to the abandoned kettle,
"No." Len said grabbing her wrist not letting her move,
"Ouch. Len that's sore stop it." Luka whined to him,
"Say the full thing." Len said grabbing tighter,
"Okay okay. Kagamine Len you and only you are my boyfriend." she said her arm dropping in pain,
"Thank you Luka, how very nice of you to say." Len said laughing before picking up the kettle and filling it up with water and placing it onto the, (got a problem I don't know what those things are called, you know what I mean, the electric bit with the sticky up bit you put it on and it makes the warm boiling bubbly water happen. That thing).
Electric thing and pushed the plastic toggle town and it lit up orange, (Rin choose it xD)
"I'm proving I can make tea." Len said pouting whilst Luka just took the nearest available seat,
After it was boiled, then Len poured the water into a mug, placed the tea bag in, waited a moment collected the milk from the fridge and poured a little drop into the mug before finally adding two sugars and removing the bag, the placed it on the table in front of her.
"Done." Len said sitting down in front of her,
"Thank you Lenny." Luka said taking a drink,
"So? How was it? Too hot? Too cold? Too much milk? Not enough milk? Too much sugar? Do you even take sugar? I forgot to ask..." Len blabbered on,
"Len." Luka said causing him to look at her silently,
"It's perfect." She said drinking more of it,
"YES! Hey... It's been at least five minutes now." Len said looking at the doorway, Luka put down her empty mug, except that little bit of water that's literally just sugar, that no one drinks because you choke on it.
"What is?" Luka said leaning over.
"RIN YOUR TIME IS UP!" Len shouted, Luka put her hands over her ears,
"OUCH!" Luka yelled back at him, "That was sore Len, gimme a warning next time." Luka said rubbing her head, putting her mug in the sink next to Rin's. At the next moment Rin was down the stairs with SOAKING wet hair that was all over her face, there was silence for a moment before Len burst out laughing.
"Ohmaigawsh Rin, what happened?!" Luka said walking towards her,
"Help. Me. Now." Rin said dragging Luka up the stairs with Len following going into the bathroom laughing loudly,
Rin walked into her room and sat in front of the mirror holding the hair dryer up to Luka,
"Fix it." she demanded,
"Brush." Luka said taking it off Rin, Luka turned on the hair dryer and fixed Rin's hair making it less drippy and all over her face like she was from a horror movie with no hair stylist.
"Better?" Luka said putting it down and combing in the separation at the front putting in her clasps,
"You look amazing now." Luka said letting her stand up,
"Your turn." Rin said sitting Luka down on the floor picking up the hair dryer,
"Rin?" Luka turned round but Rin hit her head with the comb,
"No." Rin said turning on the hair dyer,
After Luka's hair was dry it was wavy, as per usual,
"Want to do something to it?" Rin said,
"No Rin, it's fine the way it is." Luka said taking the hair dryer off her putting it down before pulling her through to the hallway.
"You two still not ready?" Len said dressed and dried,
"Seriously, are males just always dry except for 3 minutes in the shower every say?" Luka said frowning,
"I think so." Rin said walking past Len,
"Come on let's go." Len said taking Luka's hand and walking down the stairs with her,
"Rin you got the music?" Luka said once they got to the living room,
"Right here." Rin said holding up her favourite bag with ' Music is my freedom and love ' written on the front of it in nice fancy orange writing with a white background and doodles of musical notes and signs faded into the background but bigger on scale when you look at it, It was a really impressive bag, let's just say that shall we.
Len opened the door and ran outside,
"It's been so long since we left the house hasn't it?" Len said breathing in the air.
"I know it's been forever!" Luka said running out after him,
"Hey guys wait up." Rin said locking the door before looking over at the garage to see her Mom's car was missing.

See it was all normal and happy again by the ending wasn't it?
Don't worry I won't ruin my amazing progress by screwing it all up again, I promise, I think instead of a chapter 15 I should make a clarification chapter because let's face it... This is pretty confusing and Gavin would appreciate it. Wouldn't you?

So, that's what will happened, so don't go reading the next bit and be like "WTF?" because it's not going to be a real chapter chapter just a helpful halfway point...
