Okay so I start school tomorrow so the whole daily update thing is probably going to end with either this chapter or the next one, but don't worry I'll try to update as often as I can. Now that that is settled, on with the story.

Disclaimer: I don't own Rise of the Guardians.

I do own Amora Summer though.

There was a flurry of activity as the guardians attempted to find Amora. Jack stood perfectly still, aware that if he brought any attention to himself, their attention would turn on him.

"How could the Sheila be so stupid?" asked Bunny. "She's probably going after Doubt herself."

"Well we have to find her," said Tooth, "we have to work together to beat him."

"She is hundreds of miles away by now, even with reindeer it would be difficult to find her, especially since we have no idea where she when, or even which direction."

Sandy, meanwhile, was waving his arms attempting to grab everyone's attention. Jack saw the small gold man, but remained silent, only too aware of what he would say…or sign. Jack avoided eye contact with the little man.

"What is it Sandy?" asked Tooth. North and Bunny stopped arguing and turned to look at the little man. Pictures flashed over Sandy's head at rapid speed. They all watched very closely until the pictures stopped, then they all turned to Jack.

"Is Sandy right Jack?" asked North, "did you see her leave, did you let her go off to fight Doubt on her own?"

"No" the lie burst through his lips before he could consider telling the truth. "I mean…no, no." Jack pressed his lips together in a straight line and tried again, "n-n-no" he said through bared teeth. The others looked at him strangely.

"You alright mate?" asked Bunny, "cat got your tongue?" he asked, half-jokingly. Jack narrowed his eyes at the Pooka.

"I'm fine." He said, his face slowly turning a light blue. Tooth flew closer to get a better look at him. She stopped when their faces were only inches apart. Her violet eyes searched his face finally coming to rest on his mouth.

"Jack," she said, "are you wearing lip gloss?"

"What? No!" he said wiping his mouth on the sleeve of his hoodie.

"Sealed with a kiss." Tooth muttered under her breath, the others looked at her for an explanation. "A promise sealed with a kiss, Jack is physically unable to not do what she told him to." She said, Jack's face was slowly changing from blue to purple as the guardians looked at him. "The effect isn't permanent, especially considering how weak she is, it shouldn't last more than an hour."

"We don't have hour Tooth." Said North.

"Well there's no way to reverse the effect, we're just going to have to wait it out"

The lightheadedness that Jack had been feeling from the kiss disappeared quickly and dropped to his stomach. Jack wasn't sure if he should be angry or hurt. Why would she do this to him? Toy with his emotions, and for what? So he wouldn't tell the guardians that she was going off to do something as incredibly stupid as going after Doubt.

Jack could feel the pitying looks from the others, but for some reason he didn't care. He didn't care that they saw him as naïve and foolish, right now all he could think about was the girl he had known for a hundred and ten years and how she had kissed him.

It had been unlike anything the winter spirit had ever felt before. It felt as if his frozen insides had melted. Her warmth had become his warmth and when he had pulled her closer, when he deepened the kiss, he felt like they were one being with one mind, one soul. And now, even after what she had done, he couldn't bring himself to be angry with her, because he had felt something in that kiss. Something that was more powerful than any spell or enchantment or charm. Love.

I love her he thought. Something about the statement felt right, like the stars were perfectly aligned. It didn't matter that the arrows didn't affect spirits, it didn't matter that her heart may be frozen. He loved her, he was sure of it, and he was going to prove it to her.

Just as soon as the kiss wore off.

Okay so there's that. Review and tell me what you thought.
