When we last saw the group:

Fletcher goes missing but got saved by Luke and Shaylee. In turn, Emma, Ravi and Bertram reunite but got in trouble. Luckily, Jessie, Freddie and Alto came to the rescue, and their paths cross again back in the Ross family penthouse. However, things aren't looking good due to two hidden snipers...

From the opposite building overlooking the Ross family penthouse, 2 of the soldiers were trying to get a better aim.

"Man I have difficulty trying to get a better view!"

The other one said, "If that's your problem, why not use the zoom on the gun's scope?"

"Oh, right." As he was adjusting the viewfinder, he continued, "Which one are we going to shoot again?"

"Jessie Prescott. What, you want to aim the others too?"

"Well we have to capture that black girl there as orders from the Boss."

"Still shoot Jessie for all I care!"

"Ok fine."

As they were aiming for Jessie's forehead, Fletcher then noticed there was a laser in her forehead. Fletcher then knew an assassination was going to happen, and he shouted, "JESSIE, LOOK OUT!"

As she docked, Fletcher however got the shot on the rib and Chyna was struck with fear as she screamed. Shaylee then retaliated by firing a rocket launcher at the snipers, effectively killing them.

Fletcher then fell down on the floor and the others gathered around him. Chyna said, "Why Fletcher... Why did you take the bullet?"

"I don't want Jessie to die, and I knew that someone was going to assassinate Jessie, so I had to take the bullet."

"Please Fletcher... you can't die here! We still have to go home!"

"I... need... a doctor."

Chyna's eyes were welling up with tears as she saw her best friend losing consciousness from the shot. "Chyna..."

"Yes Fletcher?"

"I... Love..."

Before he can say the last word, he lost it.

Fletcher was dead. Chyna was then crying at the loss alongside Ranka and Emma.

Jessie then said, "We have to call Dr. Wooten. He's great in a health crisis, hopefully Fletcher isn't dead."

Luke then said, "Dr. Wooten? As in Stuart Wooten?"

"Yes, the guy who has a crush on Zuri and also fixed your koala."

"Come on, we have to find him before it's too late!"

"Did someone call my name?"

Stuart was already there when they were panicking.

"What happened here guys?"

Carly said, "Fletcher got shot."

As he comes to Fletcher, he then does a pulse check and said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, I think I can rebuild him."

The others then looked at Stuart like he planned to mechanize Fletcher and he said, "Nah just kidding, I can save him. He's just in a state of shock but luckily he had minimal blood loss. I have done surgery before, now I can save his boy's life."

All of them said in unison, "You can?"

"Like I don't know how to save a like. Luckily I can cure him back to life, since it's just a sniper gunshot and luckily the shot wasn't in other places where it can be fatal. If he got shot in the head or the chest it would be bad and can kill him in minutes. Jessie, Ravi, care to help out?"

Jessie and Ravi said, "We will."

The others carried Fletcher to the kitchen while Chyna is left alone with Carly.

"Don't worry, Fletcher will be fine. He isn't dead yet like Stuart said."

"I don't know... I hope he isn't dead yet." She then sobbed in Carly's shoulder.

"What do you mean they shot the wrong guy?"

"Sorry Agatha, but from the last recorded scene before another girl retaliated with a rocket launcher, we saw a kid taking the shot and they accidentally hit him instead of Jessie."

"Dang that kid who did it! But anyway, we've got kid out of the way and how many more to come."

McD was surprised that someone got killed, but he wasn't satisfied.

"So what if one kid got killed by mistake? You know we're trying to have Jessie killed! And yet those snipers I sent didn't do a good job time wise!"

"So what McD? At least we got Chyna's friend out of the way. We can take care of Jessie later, but Chyna has to be sent to the boss. If ever, we can kill two birds with one stone, meaning we kill Jessie then take Chyna and we're done."

"You have a point Angela. We can do this."

"I know right?"

Back at the Ross Penthouse, Stuart came out of the kitchen and said, "Well Chyna, Carly, I have good news. Fletcher is ok now, as we removed the bullet and also tended to his wounds. He's now saved."

"Thank goodness Stuart!" Chyna then hugged Stuart and she continued, "But he'll be able to get up again is he?"

"Sure, but he's still in a long rest. He can't get up yet and we're currently transferring him to Jessie's Bedroom where he'll be recovering."

As Chyna was thanking Stuart, Shaylee said, "It's a good thing Fletcher found out early that Jessie was going to get assassinated, otherwise we would have a bad day and Luke would have suffered a breakdown."

Carly then said, "Why so?"

"He hasn't seen Jessie in months now ever since, thus why Fletcher managed to stop her death."

Freddie said, "That makes sense. But what about Bertram?"

Ravi said, "Bertram isn't our sibling, he was the butler of the family. He was the only living adult in the group."

Alto said, "So how's Fletcher, Dr. Wooten?"

"Like I said early he's on the recovery roll, but he'll be up before we all know it."

While they were talking Chyna was on Jessie's bedroom where Fletcher is. She held his hand and said, "Oh Fletcher.. Thank goodness you're ok, but what about me? What if we never get home? What if you die before we get back home? I can't stand to see you like this, all bed ridden and all, tell me we'll be ok..."

Then her World Hopper beeped and she answered the call.

"Chyna? Are things ok in there?"

She continued as she sobbed, "Kinda..."

"Are you crying?"

"Yes, Fletcher got shot, but I don't know if we'll be able to go home like this..."

"You mean he got shot and he's dead?"

"No Angus, he's ok now, but I don't know when he'll wake up..."

"I see. By the way I'm passing you over to your family."

"Ok, they have to know it soon enough."

The scene then changed to the Parks residence were her family was waiting for her call.

"Dad?"

"Yes Chyna?"

"Dad, I've got to tell you the truth."

"What is it?"

"Dad, me and Fletcher are on a different world right now and we can't go home."

"You mean you're not in San Francisco anymore?"

"Sadly yes, we tried Angus' new invention and it worked, but we ended up in different worlds and it will take awhile before we get home because there wasn't a way to get back home immediately."

"Chyna... are you crying?"

"Yes dad... Fletcher got in an accident, and I don't know if he'll be up again..."

"Hon, stay strong. Fletcher will be up before you know it. Don't give up hope. You two will be back home before you know it."

"Thanks dad."

"Hon, it's me, your mom. I've heard all about what happened but I'll support you two until you two go home. I know I have difficulty understanding it right now I do hope you two will be able to get back safe."

"Mom? You understand?"

"Not all of it, but me and your dad and your brother will pray for your safety and for the trip back to our world, as well as Fletcher too."

"Thanks mom, We'll try to get back there."

Darryl then resumed, "We'll be with you until you two get home safely. You take care there with Fletcher."

"Thanks dad. I miss you guys."

The scene then goes back to Angus and he said, "Well I hope I'll be able to fix this. Olive's trying to learn about the schematics of the system right now so she's not able to tend to you guys right now."

"Thanks for the help Angus, but I do wish we can get out as soon as possible and back to San Francisco."

"I'll try my best to fix this. I got to go now, this will take long if I stay for a long period of time."

"Ok Angus, take care too."

The moment she hanged up was the moment Chyna said, "Fletcher... I might be crying now, but I'll confess to you that I did loved you, I was just scared of my feelings. I know you won't be able to hear it because you're stuck like this, but I love you and I wish I had said it sooner."

She then kissed Fletcher on the forehead and stroked his hair. "Just wake up, I hope things will be back to normal..." then she left him and went downstairs.

Shaylee then noticed Chyna and said, "Good, you just came down. I was about to tell you guys the story of I got into this situation."

Jessie said, "That's what I wanted to know, how did you find Luke and how did you end up getting involved in the problem?"

"It's best I tell you guys of the situation."

Flashback

During the time McD and Agatha took over Manhattan and the neighboring areas, I was still living in a penthouse in New York. Suddenly, those same soldiers came to have me killed, but I fought my way out of it and killed them all.

After that incident, I found out that you were wanted for something you did not do. I packed my stuff and started to wander around the area. Then all of a sudden, I heard a scream.

That scream was mostly Luke's so I rushed head-on to fight those that were chasing him. I found out from one of the soldiers that they were trying to make Luke speak.

I found out from Luke that they captured him but didn't kill him, in hopes that Jessie will come to save him, but I was wrong. They had to torture him just so he can give out the information. But he still kept being resilient just to save your life Jessie.

The moment I found out, I killed the person who said it. After that, I tended to Luke's wounds from the brutal beatup.

"Shaylee, thanks for saving me."

"No problem sprug. I'm your friend remember?"

"Yeah I know that. But can I get back to Jessie?"

"Sadly no. we are far away from her and I don't know how we'll get back."

"So we have to hide from them, then what?"

"We'll have to stay on low profile to prevent us from getting in trouble. We'll move out one at a time camping until every one of them are gone."

"Sound good to me, but I hope we'll get back to her safe."

"Don't worry Luke. It'll take time but we'll get back to her sooner or later, we just have to wait."

And thus why it took us months after I found Luke to get back to you, due to the many soldiers that were checking the perimeters, we even had to disguise ourselves as them by wearing those EX-Gears they had.

End of flashback

"That explains why I haven't heard from Luke after we all split up."

"I know it took a long time Jessie, but here we are. If it wasn't for Fletcher we could not have been here right now."

"I thank you for that Shaylee."

"No problem."

Luke hugged Jessie and said, "I'm thankful I'm back with you."

"Hey Luke, don't push it. You were gone for a long time and stuck with Shaylee and now you're back to being Jessie-crazy. Boy you bounce back fast!"

"What? I missed you!"

"Ok ok I get it but we still have to finish the job."

"What do you mean?"

"Until Agatha and McD are done for, we can't be having fun."

"I think we can."

"Emma, this is not a good time to say things like this!"

Carly then interrupted and said, "Maybe we can ease the tension for now?"

Ranka, Freddie, Alto, Chyna, Ravi, Stuart and Bertram agreed and Chyna resumed, "We have to have fun so we can forget about the problem at hand. When we're ready, then we'll get back to it."

"I don't know..."

"I think we can."

They looked upstairs and saw Fletcher up and about but still weak. "I know I just got up and I felt Chyna's voice calling me to get here."

"Um Fletcher, I don't remember telling you to get up but..." she then ran to him at the top floor and hugged him and said, "I'm glad you're fine and awake! I don't know what to do if you were still dead!"

"Fletcher blushed and said, "I'm ok now, and thanks for hugging me-"

But then they fell down the flight of stairs by accident and Jessie and Shaylee luckily caught them at the end of the stairs.

"Thanks for saving me and Fletcher you two!"

Jessie replied, "That's ok, you're welcome Chyna."

Fletcher then sat down the sofa and said, "Well, shall we have fun?"

They all cheered and they did have fun. Fletcher then said to Stuart, "Thanks for helping out when I lost consciousness Dr. Wooten. I owe you one."

"That's ok Fletcher, It'd be a sin to not use my talent."

Chyna then hugged Fletcher and said, "Well, let's go with them!"

"Sure!"

The two kids then followed the others, for this night was a night to relax and forget about the danger at bay, but for how long will the happiness stay?

So things are back to normal but the mission will have to be paused for now. But what will happen next to the group? Will they succeed in bringing down McD and Agatha? Will peace come to New York sooner or later? And also, as usual, will Chyna and Fletcher be able to go home?

Oh and for you Jessie and Luke shippers, the ship of Jessie and Tony is sunk now as of the episode "Break up and Shape Up"! Leave comments for this chapter and I'll see you all again on the next one.
