PA: The chunin exams, I am beginning to think this section of the story is every writer's bane, like it is just there, taunting us. Maybe that is why so many start at the Final Valley.

Cerulean Knight: The only reason I can think of Orochimaru getting in so easily is because of Danzo, I have already started looking at some things for how to deal with that rodent.

slade963: he will be able to summon a variety of cats, at the moment he can not because he is still being tested by Leo. A few chapters ago I explained it in a A/N there will be some movie cats but I don't want to go, he can summon every kind of cat, cause that seems really fucking strong, something this strong Naruto doesn't need added on.

fellow: It is not going to be a flower for the little Uchiha, that is something I can say for sure.

Unnatural Reader: Fu will have a place, I am not sure where but she will have a place.

Mejciu: The reason he is using so much Raiton at the moment is because I think it to be a more versatile element than Katon, Raiton you can zap people and shock them, paralyze them, knock them out or even kill them. With Katon I kind of see, being burnt or being burnt alive, when shit starts to get crazy, which it will soon, you will see some badass Katon.

Naruto watched as the genin left the arena, his brow ticking with each second that they took, once they were finally gone he took a deep breath and leveled his gaze across the Anbu in the room. "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK WE ARE RUNNING HERE?!" He roared at them watching their forms shake from the infused KI.

Giving Minato a small look off to the side the blonde kage gave a nod, causing Naruto to smirk and bring his hand up to his face, pouring chakra into it and summoning the Oni mask, instilling fear into the Anbu around them. "You just made the village and myself look like a bumbling bundle of buffoons, so now, I am going to up your training 200%." Hearing groans coming from the anbu he saw how out of line they were putting his hand into the air and creating a loud bang drawing all attention back to him.

"By the time I am done with you sorry lot, you won't even remember how to talk back to someone... AM I CLEAR?"

"CRYSTAL SIR!" They chimed in unison. Naruto brought a hand up to rub his temple, a fruitless effort to ease the oncoming headache this disaster was going to cause him.

"Father, I guess I can return to being Anbu commander, just not full-time again, I want to remember what I am fighting for after all." he pulled the mask down and gave a small smirk. One that was found to be very attractive. "The circus that the Anbu has turned into, is not at all how I remember leaving it, firstly though I need to meet with Jiraiya, also Kushina I will need to see you soon if that's ok, I need a hand with a seal that is above even the pervs level."

The redhead stepped forward from behind Minato drawing her hood back, a small frown on her face, she had not seen Naruto in quite some time, almost since her hearing and now here he was asking something of her? "I will see if it is within my abilities. You have given me a chance, the least I can do if return the favour."

Her words caused Minato to smile, maybe there was hope for his family after all. "I see no problems with this Naruto, we can figure something out at a later date, but what I would really like to talk about is what exactly happened in Kiri? That Marashishi is like a younger version of yourself."

Both noticed that Mei stiffened at the mention of her land. Naruto gave a small chuckle at the mention of his pupil. "That father would be because I taught her. I was surprised with what I saw, she seemed to soak up everything that I showed her though which was good, in the end her hard work seems to have paid off, don't you think?"

"She is definitely very fast, I do look forward to seeing what she learnt from you in the finals. But I have noticed you managed to attract the attention of a certain someone during your trip." Minato gave his son a toothy grin, he knew who Mei was, he was quite impressed, she really was a catch, but then again so were Yugao and Kurenai, both of whom were also chasing his sons affection.

Naruto rose a brow to his father, "We have not slept together if that is what you are asking, I know it is against the law to sleep with someone from who we don't have an alliance with. Are you trying to imply something father?"

"Nope, just thought I would let you know that myself and the Mizukage signed an alliance treaty earlier today..." His words trailing off at the end letting them sink in to those around him. Both father and son seeing the heavy blush a certain green-eyed woman held.

Naruto tilted his head to the side, a small amount of confusion on his face, "If you will excuse me father, there are certain things that still need to be done today," The confused look left his face, his tone was one that left no room for argument, it was only a subtle change, but one that Minato knew too well. The blonde gave a small wave of his hand dismissing his son, watching the boy vanish, Yugao hot on his heels.

"Not how you were expecting him to take it?" Minato mused, shifting an eye over to Mei who shrugged her shoulders.

"He already knows how I feel," She replied honestly, blushing a little at the memory of falling asleep on his chest, she looked around and saw the others leaving, only Minato, Kushina and herself still in the room, "he said he has pretty much given up on love, I want to show him that he shouldn't, that it can give you warmth you haven't felt before."

"Sorry," Whispered out Kushina, "I am pretty sure that is my fault, he knows I am good at sealing for a reason," She let out, seeing the realization on Mei's face before her body shook in rage. Minato slowly moving himself forward standing between the two. "Move Minato, she wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for m-"

"Did Naruto attack you?" Mei questioned holding her anger as best she could, her fists shaking violently from the effort she was exerting.

Kushina slowly shook her head, "No, he should have for what I put him through, I sacrificed him too quickly without really thinking about the situation," Kushina would have continued if it wasn't for Mei holding her hand up to stop, it was still shaking but the Mizukage was taking deep breaths to try and ease the burning fuel in her systems.

"If he didn't then why should I? I don't think he would be happy if I did." Mei finished, turning on her feet to leave, hearing the final words Kushina had to speak at the moment.

"Thats what the others said as well..."

"Naruto can y-"

"Did Kurenai say it was okay?" The raven-haired Uchiha cut of the younger one, already knowing what he was going to ask.

"She said rightfully I could train with whoever I wanted... I asked if she was sure, while she said yes she didn't seem too thrilled with the idea," Sasuke informed him, dropping to the ground behind Naruto, only now noticing the blonde that was trying to control the small stream of lightning coming from Naruto's hand.

Naruto looked at where his attention was directed with a small smirk, lifting his other hand and starting the same exercise. "You remember Marashishi from Kiri?" Receiving a nod from Sasuke he continued, "She has become a student of mine, you would be doing physical training alongside her and the Anbu while under my teachings in the morning, the afternoon will be handled by myself and Kurenai or Zabuza respectively, afterwards the clone that was there for your theory will be taking you for individual practice, knowing one anothers moves before the tournament would make things easy to plan for." Finished Naruto holding his hand out for Sasuke to start work on, the young Uchiha looked completely confused for a moment but nodded.

"I accept, but what am I meant to do here?" Pointing to Naruto's hand to show what he was talking about.

"Simple baka we need to try and take the lightning and make it attach itself to our body instead of Naruto-sensei's. Right now it takes me half an hour," Marashishi stated with a small bead of sweat on her forehead, her hand extended over Naruto's a few minutes later she saw Naruto drop his other arm, her jaw following the motion as Sasuke held up his hand, the lightning now on it instead of Naruto's.

Seeing the look on her face Naruto gave a small sigh, "Marashishi, his affinity is higher is all, nothing more than that, with hard work you can get it to that level and even surpass it, Sasuke just because you could complete the task faster does not mean you are ready to move onto the next one, check on your reserves." Naruto stated his golden eyes already scanned the boy and girl, Sasuke was running low, he could understand that though because of the cursed seal.

Marashishi taking control of the lightning a few moments later, a small yip coming from her lips, "Five minutes faster than last time, I am getting there Naruto-sensei." She beamed cheerfully to the older Uchiha, seeing him give a small smile back made her feel like everything was right.

Feeling a certain presence close in on the small group Naruto spoke, "Pardon us Marashishi, but there is something that myself and Sasuke must tend to, it is in regards to the exams so it must be done in private," He sounded calm and collected, the blonde looked at him for a few moments before nodding and taking off in the other direction. "I will pick you up in the morning and take you to the training grounds."

She turned around on her feet and gave a bright smile, "Okay Naruto-sensei, see you tomorrow," A small wave as she vanished in a bolt of lightning.

"Quite the pupil you have there Naruto," A large white-haired man spoke coming out of the ground next to the two Uchihas.

"She hasn't even show a tip of what she can do," Naruto murmured, Mara was incredibly smart, it was the reason she showed no restraint against her teammate, it showed many things, just two of those were, that she was fast, and that no one saw her use a jutsu, she hinted that she used lightning which she did, but there was more than just those few facts as to why she trained under Naruto, "Alas that is not what I called you for, it would seem the snake still chasing after the Sharingan, he has failed twice at trying to get a fully evolved one, it would seem he wants to get Sasuke's before he reaches that stage."

Naruto's words caused the toad-sage to frown deeply, he pulled out a notepad and held up a design for the older Uchiha to look at. Naruto gave a small smile followed by a nod, lets get working on that, I will meet you both at home. Sasuke gave a nod and started walking to the Uchiha mansion while Jiraiya stuck around a few moments longer.

"Its kind of ironic isn't it, for the longest time she had such power over me via a seal, now I need her help in the area."

"You are giving her a chance, thats all we can ask for Naruto." The toad-sage said in a comforting manner, giving the boy a small pat on the back.

"Yeah you're right Pervy-chan, I guess I will see you soon," Naruto gave a small sigh as he vanished in black flames, leaving one of the people he looked up to most, standing in a clearly be themselves.

"Fuuton: Daitoppa." (Wind release: Great Breakthrough.) Those were the first words Naruto heard as he landed in the Namikaze compound, it was screamed by his younger sister, this added affect caused a small smile to spread across his face, his right hand shooting out to the side and catching the kunai that was flung his way, it dangled down limply, his finger through the ring at the back. "Its good to see you haven't dulled Kushina," He stated, dropping the dagger and falling out of the tree gracefully, giving a small kick to the falling kunai, sending it flying at one of the targets, piecing its heart.

He landed on the ground softly and slowly walked forwards, "What can I do for you Naruto?" Kushina asked calmly, she had honestly not been expecting him to show up this quickly.

"I need a seal that can seal four tails worth of chakra," He dropped the literal bombshell on her seeing her mouth gape open at the thought.

"Should I even ask why Naruto?"

"Its Black Label, sorry Kushina, I can get up to two tails if you would like my notes? I don't know of how much use they will be," Naruto pulled some papers out of thin air getting a small 'wow' from his little sister while Kushina gave a small snicker, noticing the small seals on his wrists.

"I will have a look over them, I can't make any promises though," Stated Kushina, her eyes widening when the seals were dropped into her hands, "You have already done most of the work, some of the matrixes are around the wrong way is all. With a few touch ups we will have to give it a test, maybe we can actually do this after all," There was a small glint in her eyes, Naruto took notice of this, giving a small cough.

"Ahh, you ok Kushina?" For a moment his question seemed to fall on deaf ears, "Hmm? Oh I am fine, its just strange that a seal this strong falls into my lap, with enough modifications it could be changed to a storage seal, slowly sapping chakra until it reaches its capacity, but then again are we really ready for such a thing?" She clapped her hands together and started intently at what was in her hands.

"Sometimes its risky advancements that can bring in a new age, I just need one ready, about a month from now," He noticed Kushina's eyes instantly narrowing on his form, he gave a subtle nod and looked over to where his sister was practicing her Fuuton again. "Natsumi, try using shapes to help with your wind manipulation, like a circle or square for Daitoppa, it will be hard at first, it pays out in the end though." Naruto reared his head back and breathed out a harsh gale, no handsigns or jutsu name required causing Natsumi to gasp as she saw the target she had been using get torn to shreds. "Once your imagery is down pat, you can make it more complex, like a corkscrew."

"Wow Naruto-nii, that was so cool, can you teach me more?" The small blonde pestered her older brother, much to the grievance of her mother. "I can't teach you this time Natsumi, I have a lot on my plate this month, but I can arange for you two to have some access to my library if you would like?"

"Why are you so trusting?" Questioned Kushina, not at all understanding the motivation behind his actions, Naruto gave a small shrug of his shoulder, "The books that shouldn't fall into the wrong hands can't be seen without the Sharingan, a pretty nasty genjutsu will lead you around in circles until you lose your way, I can leave a clone to help you move around in there if you want?" Naruto questioned looking around at the both of them.

Kushina gave a small nod causing Naruto to pull of piece of paper out of thin air, holding it out to Kushina, "Directions and a shadow clone to help you move around, it has a five uses before I will need to recharge it," Naruto gave a small bow and held his hand up into the air, "If there is anything you need just let me know, it is at times like these that Konoha needs to stand together," He drew the hand that was in the air over his face, his body fading away into the air.

Natsumi looked at her mother for a few moments, "Kaa-san what does he mean 'times like these'?"

"Its just your brother being silly, probably has a bad feeling in his stomach is all," While she was smiling on the outside, she knew that Naruto knew something, something pretty big by the sounds of it.

Naruto and Yugao were at the front of the pack, right behind them was Marashishi, Sasuke was a little further back running next to the Anbu, "I actually find this kind of disgusting, sure Sasuke is fit but he shouldn't be able to keep up with the Anbu so easily, did they get that bad in my absence, or did Sasuke become that much better?" Naruto breathed out keeping his pace, they were currently on their 23rd lap around the obstacle course, it included climbing, ducking dodging, swimming sprinting, weaving all kinds of things to build endurance and agility, what he believed to be essential for shinobi of their level.

He stepped across the line giving a small breath, a thin sheen of sweat on his forehead, not at all out of breath, Yugao was fairing only a little worse, her chest raising deeply as she took some heavier breaths, Mara seemed completely fine which shocked the purple-haired Anbu, wondering just what kind of training Naruto had put her through.

Sasuke came across the line, a little out of breath which caused Naruto to raise a brow, Sasuke gave a small smirk taking his usual stance, "I hardly doubt you would make us only run the course, there will be more to come, expending all of my energy in one place does not make a good shinobi," Sasuke stated causing some of the Anbu behind him to gasp.

"Quite perceptive, I want each of you to find a partner, you will be sparing against them for the next five minutes, taijutsu only," Naruto order watching them snap into place and split off, Yugao flinched when she noticed only herself and Naruto hadn't split off, with a large gulp she brought her guard up, his first punch was coming much slower than she expected, it clicked a little to late that it was a feint, his front leg had wrapped tightly around her back, pulling her in close to his face, his fist 'lightly tapping' against her rushed guard.

The five minutes passed quickly, both Marashishi and Sasuke giving a small couple of pants before smirking to one another, Yugao was giving Naruto a pretty harsh glow, a small sigh escaped the Uchiha's lips, he molded the needed chakra, encompassing his hands in green chakra and running them over her form, taking the sting out of her muscles, the light bruises fading away. "Better?"

With a small giggle she gave a sheepish look, "Yeah, either I forgot how fast and hard you can hit, or you have gotten a lot better than I remember," Yugao rubbed her wrists a little, yeah she was healed up mostly, but she could still feel the pressure that had been on her wrists.

"It's more than likely a bit of both, also, one of my arms is metal now, well the warm-up is done, time to get a little more physical, groups of three, move," Naruto roared out watching them all break off into the groups, quickly getting to work on what he asked of them, they would be training like this, everyday, for the rest of the month. He was utterly appalled with what had happened to his forces, he just hoped that the executors were not in the same boat, from what he saw from Anko though, that didn't seem to be the case.

Forming two clones he gave a small sigh, "Marashishi, Sasuke. Its time for your theory lessons, these clones will guide you," The blonde and younger Uchiha both gave a small bow to Yugao and moved off following after a clone each, the purple-haired Anbu slowly walked over to Naruto, who was carefully watching the team fights take place, who they moved around one another, striking in time with one another, the jutsu's that were fast and heavy hitting, narrowly flying by their partners.

"What do you think?" Yugao questioned, seeing Naruto's eyes darting all over the field, he gave a slow breath and brought his right hand up, rubbing at his eye, "I am going to bring back the partner system, that is where all our strength came from in the past, constantly learning and adapting to new teammates allowed for better overall teamwork between the force."

"You're going to stick me with some brat again aren't you?" She groaned out, shifting her weight onto her back foot, her reaction caused Naruto to give a small laugh.

"You were a brat when you were given to me, now look at you, capable of fighting S-ranked foes without a team," Naruto stated, watching her pout cutely.

"Don't call me a brat."

"You were."

Naruto smirked as a black feather fell between him and Sasuke, he was proud of how fair the youngest Uchiha had come in such a short time. Sasuke looked up from his hunched position, panting small sparks flying off of his body, gold eyes meeting gold.

Raising his fist in the air the younger Uchiha gave out a battle cry, slamming it into the ground sparks erupting from the ground, "I feel like nothing can touch me, so strong but my body feels ready to split in two, how do you stand it?" He questioned Naruto who walked up and gave the boy a pat on the back, the stone piullar that they were standing on was scorched, nearly split in half from what had just happened, Naruto forcibly creating a tier three lightning affinity in Sasuke.

The boy had so much to learn before he would be able to control it properly, but it was for that reason it was given to him at such an age. Mara would be ready for it in a year or two, he knew about the invasion, he knew Sasuke's fight with the Tanuki was the catalyst, its exactly why the younger Uchiha was being pushed so hard, maybe he would be able to keep Gaara from transforming.

"You get used to the feeling, soon it becomes normal, almost non-existent. You must remember to keep your emotions in check though, the lightning will react to them, if you haven't noticed from your little outburst just before," Naruto picked the boy up and put him on his feet, taking a few steps back, "Now try that jutsu again," He commanded watching Sasuke run through the seals and send it flying out at Naruto who batted it away with his fist, there was a few scorch marks but nothing he couldn't heal from quick enough.

"Smart you held back."

"I remember what you said, Tier three is not something to take lightly, a jutsu that would have just stunned someone before will kill them now if I use the same amount of chakra," Sasuke replied, taking another look at Naruto," but up against you, it will not make much of a difference, so if it is ok, may I test my new strength?"

"Shoot gaki," Naruto waved him to bring it letting lightning flick around his hand.

The day came quickly, everyone was nervous, none more so than Naruto, back in his outfit from the Kiri rebelions, today he was Mei's body guard. Already in place was the seal from Kushina, all he needed was for things to take their place, he stood on the Kage booth. His hand resting on the back of Mei's chair, as per her 'request'.

It was a meeting of the big five, something he thought he would never witness, he only wished it was under better conditions. "Mister Knight, is it true?" Onoki asked causing him to turn his head and look at the older man.

"Is what true Tsuchikage-sama?" Naruto's voice was slightly muffled to make any chance of recognising it worthless, he already had a fair idea of what the question was.

"That you took down the Sanbi?" The older kage continued like nothing was wrong with asking such a question.

Mei gave a small giggle and patted the hand on her seat, "You don't have to answer that Knight-kun, it only matters that Kirigakure knows the truth," She spoke kindly, turning her attention back to the stadium, Minato and Jiraiya were having a small conversation between themselves, mostly it revolved around the man's new book.

Minato stood up and gave a small speech, addressing the crowd, there was a call for Uchiha Sasuke and Gaara of Suna, only one gennin appeared down on the sandy ground. "Not even able to show up on time for his own fight? What kind of shinobi are you training here Hokage-dono?"

"Hokage-dono, maybe we should still let him fight, just without the chance of promotion, a lot of people have come here for this match, even I have a certain interest in watching the younger Uchiha," Mei spoke, knowing that it would have to sound like she was neutral in this situation.

"The Mizukage does have a point, maybe we shouldn't be so hasty here Raikage-dono," Stated Onoki, from his seat, while he didn't like Konoha at all, he did like watching a Uchiha fight, even since he had that run in with Madara, he had grown to become fascinated by them.

Minato looked across to the disguised Orochimaru, who was stroking his chin in thought, "I say we go with the Mizukage's suggestion, it will let the fights continue as planned, but it will also teach him a lesson about being on time," Orochimaru stated calmly.

"Fine but if he isn't here by the end of the first rounds, I wan't him disqualified," Roared A in his seat, the blonde behind him trying to calm his quick temper.

"Oh Raikage-dono, I believe we can all agree on that," Spoke Mei waving a small fan in front of her face, Naruto stood calmly and made some signs to Jiraiya behind his back, effectively relaying a message to his father.

Depending on the matches he would be able to get his forces into position in time. The next match was called, aggravating the unstable redhead on the field, it was something Naruto made a note of, something Sasuke may be able to take advantage of.

Choji and Temari, the fight was one sided, Chouji had improved vastly over the past month, his speed and strength had jumped to a new level, it was clear that he had worked hard, but now he almost felt sorry for the boy. All of his training was proving ineffective against his opponent, she get him out of reach and slowly hacked him down with her wind jutsu, effectively taking the match for herself, but also costing quite a lot of chakra.

"Your daughter fought quite well Kazekage-dono, her Fuuton skills are quite exceptional for her age, could I be looking at a specialist?" Asked Minato causally, he was interested a little, mostly he wondered how his own would fare against such an opponent.

"Like all of our shinobi, she works hard, hoping to make her parents and village proud. I hope to see another performance like this one later on," The snake-sannin spoke, trying to portray the role he was dressed as.

"Knight-kun, it would seem that the next match holds some bad blood, granddaughter of the Tsuchikage against the daughter of the Hokage, what do you think the outcome will be?" Mei taunted, already knowing what he wanted to say, but he had to keep up appearances here, to make it worse she would always stick her chest out and tilt her head back to speak to him, allowing a clear view down her top.

Naruto shifted inside of his outfit, from the corner of his eye picking up a glint of amusement in Jiraiya's eyes. Taking a small breath and letting it out, he spoke, "It should be interesting, I would assume both have a high sense of pride about them, the differences in village could very well be shown through this fight, no matter who wins I think we will be in for an interesting fight Mizukage-sama."

"Knight-kun, how many times must I tell you to call me Mei-chan?" A large amount of exasperation was carried in her tone, her arms crossing under her bust and a small pout in place.

Naruto let out an internal groan at her antics,"More times than I can count Mizukage-sama. But while I wear this outfit I shall call you as such, please do not think to harshly of it. I do what I must, as must you, please remember this Mizukage-sama," Subtly reminding her to keep his identity a secret for the moment.

"Fine, but you owe me, HEY! you still owe me a massage!" Her train of thought completely going out of the window at this point. Naruto gave an audible groan this time while the other Kages laughed at the situation playing out before them, "Yes I do, can you please remind me when we are not at a public event next time?"

Thankfully the next match was called, this caused the kages to refocus their attention on the floor below them, not on the conversation that passed between the couple.

Kurotsuchi gave a small laugh as she stood across from Natsumi, the blonde just smiled widely despite what was happening. "Its going to be good to see the princess in action, I hope you have improved since that last bout, if not this will be over quick."

Natsumi cracked her shoulders into place, watching as Hayte rose his hand, "Ever heard the saying that princesses are wild when they let go?" The question caused the Iwa-nin to narrow her eyes as the proctors hand dropped down signaling the start of the fight.

Kurotsuchi leapt back already knowing taijutsu was not recommended against someone like this, looking around she couldn't find the blonde, "Because that saying is actually true, we tend to get a little rough too," Came the cheery voice from behind her as a foot slammed into her back, sending her back from the direction she came.

"Knight-kun, thats not normal taijutsu is it?" Questioned the Mei looking up at her disguised black-haired Uchiha, his eyes stayed trained on the field below them, that much she knew.

"It uses Fuuton to reduce the wind resistance around her while at the same time using Raiton to enhance the muscles inside her body, if it was to be fully completed it may be as fearsome as the Raikage's famed Raiton no Yoroi," Naruto finished his eyes never leaving the arena to see A now being held back by a blonde female, trying to control his temper.

Orochimaru raised his head at the information, he himself was not able to tell what affinities were used for that, "How could you obtain all that information Knight-san?"

"Knight-kun is not required to answer your questions Kazekage-dono, only my own," She nearly spat at the man, already knowing exactly who was under the veil.

"My apologies Mizukage-dono, with the way you two speak to one another, I keep forgetting he is your body-guard,"

"Its ok Kazekage-dono, I know how hard it can be for people to remember things in their old age," She smiled sweetly hiding it behind her hand, both Minato and A giving a nice laugh along while three old men frowned.

A roar of "Kage Bunshin no jutsu," from below them snapped them out of their thoughts, drawing them back to the fight, a horde of little blondes were zipping around the arena, keeping the Iwa genin on her toes, slowly pushing her back into a corner.

A wall of earth erected in front of Kurotsuchi as she made some distance stringing through a long sequence of seals, a stream of white gunk flew from her mouth, burning down the wall and dispelling a large number of clones. "Unrefined yoton, the balance is completely off, the earth is greater than sixty percent, while it is hot, its not hot enough," Mused Mei out loud causing the other Kages to look towards her, "What? I use yoton, of course I know about it," She exclaimed looking back to the fight as the whitish grey slime suddenly hardened, Natsumi's hands extended in its direction.

"See it wasn't hot enough, Natsumi was able to cool it rather quickly," She pointed out, Onoki decided to store this information away, it would allow for him to give something for Kurotsuchi to focus on for some time.

It now seemed that Natsumi was rapidly gaining on the fleeing Iwa genin, she was running out of room, running out of chakra, now Kurotsuchi would be at her most dangerous, becoming desperate, taking a deep breath in she pulled her hands into the ram sign, Onoki jumping out of his chair and flying down the the field, stopping the match and disqualifying his grandchild.

"Never use that jutsu, do you understand me Kurotsuchi?" Onoki asked through clenched teeth, the girl in question lowered her head in shame, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!"

"Hai Tsuchikage-sama, I just thought you would be proud at me for getting revenge," She spoke her head still hung, her feeting seeming to be much more interesting than anyone else thought.

Onoki rested a hand on her back and cupped her chin between his index finger and his thumb, lifting it up to look at him, "Revenge only causes to grave to be dug, while we can have our own opinion on our past advocerises, there is no need to go out of our way just to get our pound of flesh. Now get some rest, I got some useful tips from the Mizukage about your yoton," He gave her a proud little smile and ruffled her hair.

"Jiji, not in front of the people,"

"Haha and you called Natsumi the princess,"

"But she is, look at her, so prissy and perfect," The genin moaned out, the blonde in question just stood there for a while in confusion, she was declared the winner but it didn't feel like she had earnt it, walking forward slowly with her hands on her hips she butted into the conversation.

"I train super hard thank you very much, but that was a pretty nice fight, maybe we could spar sometime?" She questioned putting her hand out in a friendly gesture. Kurotsuchi looked at the hand then at her grandfather for a few moments, seeing him give a ghost of a grin.

Putting her hand forward she lightly grabbed the hand and shook it, "You showed me some weaknesses for me to work on, haha I don't think I want a repeat of what happened though, we will spar sometime just not soon ok? I want to get better maybe give you a run for your money princess," Kurotsuchi gave a large grin and let go of the hand she was holding.

"Sure thing pretty fingers,"

"MY FINGERS AREN'T PRETTY!"

"I AIN'T NO PRINCESS!"

Onoki flew up into the kage booth again, shaking his head at the display between the two genin, "Hokage-dono, it would seem Natsumi got her attitude from her mother, you appear much calmer,"

Minato had to stifle a chuckle as the two genin were carried away from the stage, Naruto meanwhile was scanning the crowds, most of his forces were in position, maybe he would just call for Sasuke once everyone had fought, that way everyone had something to be judged on, it was not like his father didn't know what was going on anyway.

"These fights have been entertaining, almost makes me wish we could let loose a little," Spoke A rolling his shoulders forward, Naruto felt like slapping himself in the face.

"Letting loose in the middle of Konoha, while security is at its highest would be a pretty idiotic idea Raikage-dono, both Tsunade and Jiraiya are here, not to mention all the kages, our body guards and that pesky older Uchiha of theirs, speaking of which, why isn't your sword here Hokage-dono?" Onoki questioned, it was a little strange that he only just noticed, it also brought up a few questions of who was actually in the village at the moment, he heard Tsunade was here, but he hadn't seen her either, not to mention Kushina.

"I don't know where my son is, I would assume he is around the stadium somewhere, or maybe he is just taking a day off again," Minato made sure to include a subtle jab at the mannerisms of his son, Mei held her hand in front of her mouth again giving a small giggle.

"he is quite handsome, I might just have to taste him for myself Hokage-dono, no offense Knight-kun," It was widely known that Kiri had formed a rather strong bond with Konoha in the last month, both their trades had flown through the roof as a result.

"Sometimes you are just too much Mizukage-sama, I wonder how Naruto-dono would feel if you were to speak so openly in front of him," Mused Naruto to the woman in front of him.

Mei gave a small giggle and hid a small blush on her face, "Oh, I think I could make it worth his while to listen,"

"Hokage-dono, do you not wish to say something for your son?" Questioned A, who was rather confused by what was happening in the booth right now.

"Raikage-dono, my son can be incredibly stubborn when he wants to be, no matter what I say, he will do what he thinks is best. That I can trust," Minato found it oddly strange to have to talk about his son in a third person, especially when he was standing right next to him.

"Ohh look Knight-kun, Haku-chan is fighting now, I hope she puts on a good show," Mei cheered a little for her village, she was hoping for Haku and Mara at the finals, but knew it was not going to happen, Naruto had informed her of the plan the night before.

"That Fu is quite the thinker though Mizukage-dono, your Haku might have a bit of trouble," Stated Minato thoughtfully, rubbing his chin in question.

Mei gave a small shrug of her shoulders, "Haku keeps Marashishi in line, she is used to dealing with smart people," Mei spoke proudly of the little blonde, while they butted heads often, they were like siblings the rest of the time.

"That cheery blonde fighting the Hyuuga later?" Prodded A, he had read the file on the girl, he knew she was fast, maybe a raiton affinity but that was it.

"Yes, quite the player she is, but enough of that, you will understand when the time comes," Mei waved them off, ignoring the questioning looks on their faces.

"Winner Haku!" Was roared down from below them causing them to face flaunt, having been so caught up in their conversation that they missed the fight, all they saw was Haku's final move a large dome of Ice surrounding the mint-haired girl.

"Well, maybe we should pay a bit more attention to the arena," Mei laughed nervously,

"It was quite the skilled battle, Mizukage-dono, while quick they both seemed to execute a fair few plans, having to adapt very quickly to the fighting styles of one another, in the end Haku-san had the final say, playing her trump card and nearly freezing the girl," Stated Naruto, summarizing the fight for the Kages.

"Like always Knight-kun, I am glad I have your eyes watching over me,"

Naruto let out a small groan, "Mizukage-sama, may I suggest watching the next match, both Sakura and Shikamaru have shown to be rather strategic, I think it will come down to who can think of the best plan first," His words caused Mei to give a slight nod and adjust her top further, sometimes she does it just to screw with him, it was the only explanation.

It had gotten to the point where he could quite clearly see what kind of bra she was wearing, a deep crimson one, lacy with small frills around the cups.

Sakura stood across from Shikamaru, who like normal had a rather bored expression on his face, the pinkette seemed incredibly excited about what had been happening so far though, but like all genin form Konoha she knew not to underestimate him, he was smart, lazy but smart. "This is really troublesome, I am sorry Sakura, but my kaa-san is going to kick my ass if I don't try here," He muttered out hands still in his pockets but his eyes narrowing.

"Sorry Shika, but Natsumi has already moved on, I can't let her be the only one right?" Sakura pulled some gloves out of her pockets placing them on her hands and flexing her fists, Hayate dropped his arm starting the fight, both genin instantly flicking two kunai at the other as they jumped back to make some distance.

"Why aren't they moving, they made some distance but they aren't doing anything?" Questioned A causing the other kages to face flaunt.

"Raikage-sama it would appear they are trying to convince the each other to make the first move, both of them seem to have a battle plan of sorts," The blonde beside he spoke softly.

A seemed to roll the words around on his tongue for a bit, letting them slowly sink in, "A fight that involves to much thinking is never fun, sometimes it is best just run in there and smack the oposition around until they can't move anymore," He stated with nothing but confidence.

Some of the other kages snickered at his thoughts on battle, "I have to agree, sometimes that is a rather enjoyable way to fight, but we also have to remember it is not always the strongest brawler that win, but rather the one that takes the least hits," Stated Naruto, it took a few moments for what he said to sink in while they watched the genin below them, Sakura knew leaving Shikamaru alone for too long was going to be bad for her health.

Bringing her hands up into the tiger seal Sakura took in a deep breath "Doton: Doryu Taiga." (Earth Release: Earth Flow River.) Arcing her head back she shot a steam into the air, thankful that it covered most of the distance between her and Shikamaru, the lazy genious narrowed his eyes at the jutsu, not knowing what to expect.

What happened next was not part of his plan, Sakura jumped into the air streaming three quick seals together before dropping down ontop of the mud, not sinking at all. A thin layer of chakra keeping her afloat. "Doton: Doryudan." (Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet.) The name of the jutsu had people drop their jaws, that technique had not been used in over a decade, three large golbs flew from the dragons mouth aiming to quickly take down Shikamaru, the Nara flipped into the air, dodging the first two but letting the final one strike him on the foot, sending him spinning off to the side.

Sakura seeing her jutsu hit went to check if he was ok, only for her body to stop reacting to her coomands, "Kagemane no jutsu, (Shadow imitation technique) Succsess," Shikamaru spoke slowly standing to his feet, Sakura mimicing his actions as the two came to stand right next to each other, slowly the Nara rose his had seeing the pinkette widen her eyes in shock.

"Proctor I give up, it was by luck that I have gotten this far, I really don't want to push it any futher," Letting go of his technique, "Good luck Sakura, those people up next are really heavy hitters, like I said, it was luck that you came to check on me, most would have just attacked again to make sure, don't make the same mistake," He placed his hands in his pockets and slowly walked away leaving a stunned Sakura and crowd.

"That was a smart move, from what I have seen Shimaru does not have the skills needed to fight for much longer, as shinobi we should always plan ahead, what he seems to call luck, I would call knowledge, he has been making careful guesses so far and they have paid off," Stated Mei having watch the majority of the exams herself.

"Indeed it was Mizukage-sama, his forthought is quite good, if he could bring his other skills up to such a level he would be quite an oponent," Stated Naruto, Shikamaru was someone that had interested him a bit, but now seeing this level of thinking from the boy, he would have Naruto's vote.

"Shinobi like that Nara boy do not come around often, I think he would do well as a chunin, maybe with some small improvements to his jutsu arsenal of course," Stated Onoki, a small frown on his face, he knew that Kurotsuchi wouldn't get a vote of confidence.

"A Hyuuga going up against your Marashishi Mizukage-dono, this should be interesting, what does she focus in?" Questioned the Raikage causing Mei to give a small giggle.

"It is going to be a close range battle, mostly taijutsu, it will be interesting to see how she goes against the genius of the Hyuuga clan," Mei rubbed her chin in thought while giving a small look up to Naruto, "what do you think Knight-kun?"

Naruto watched as Mara walked onto the field, waving at the crowds, "I think it will be a good match, aslong as Mara doesn't loose her temper. If she does, I fear for the Hyuuga,"

"Knight-san what makes you say that?" Questioned the Raikage, Minato leaned forward a little to hear the answer, both of them were quite convinced that the Hyuuga's were the best when it came to taijutsu.

"Marashishi has quite the temper, while she seems aloof and happy most of the time she is deeply troubled and once she gets angry, well it is best not to talk about that," Naruto spoke, watching as the blonde gave a low bow to the Hyuuga who seemed to brush her off.

"Fate has decreed me the victor of this fight, greeting you is pointless," Neji stated getting into a taijutsu stance and waiting for the proctors hand to drop, he saw just how fast this girl could move, he spared against Gai constantly to try and get used to the movements, The blonde had a large grin on her face, as soon as the hand dropped she charged forward, letting Neji catch her hand, giving a small giggle she spoke one word "Zap!"

The Hyuuga was flun back a few feet, making a mental note not to grab the blonde, she was as fast as he remembered causing him to frown, had she not trained at all during the month?

"A nameless genin like you doesn't deserve to be here," Neji spat activating his bloodline and staring intently at the girl before him.

Naruto and Mei frowned looking down as the girl twitched her fingers almost roboticly, "Hokage-dono, I fear for your Hyuuga," The Kage raised their brows at Mei's words, she made no effort to answer them.

"Mei-nee gave me my name, I am not nameless, I will not vanish, not again. I will make her proud, make her not regret taking me in and teaching me!" The small blonde roared as lightning erupted around her blinding the chakra seeing eye of the Hyuuga, slowly it compacted down to around her arms, forming twin dragon heads with lightning sparking all around them. "Meet my Kaminari Ryu Ken , (Lightning Dragon Fist) now that they are here, I will show you exactly what I can do Hyuuga!" She spat, flashing forward and landing a heavy strike to his chest sending him flying.

"Well at least she is still holding back, that strike knocks out most jounin when she goes full pace," Mei stated looking up at Naruto with worry in her eyes, the relationship had changed drastically, her crush had shifted over to another Uchiha, Naruto still looked after her a lot and she came to see him as the older brother he never had, her and Mei well, nothing changed between them, they still bickered like siblings constantly.

"She will be fine Mizukage-sama, Marashishi was always like this when her name was brought into question," No one but Mei noticed when his hand moved from the back of the chair down to her shoulder, giving it a light squeeze, "Her strong will and smarts will help her to pull through, plus we can alway see her after the first round is complete for a few minutes," Naruto spoke again, he knew he had to keep up a face and lie to her outright, hopefully she didn't get angry at him later for it.

"Thank you Knight-kun, I think it would be best if we did," Mei said looking back to the front and giving a small nod.

The kages saw Neji struggle to his feet, only for Mara to appear in front of his face again, grabbing onto the front of his clothing and hoisting him up into the air, "Names have individual meaning you ass, just because I don't come from some fancy clan like you doesn't mean my name is not as important. I care about it, my brother and sister care about it, while you're at it, you should stop talking about the fate bullshit, it isn't attractive at all," Mara brought her hand up and struck him in the face, knocking him out cold.

The crowd was deathly quiet, not even a whisper, Hayate came up and announced Mara the victor, it took a few moments but everyone jumped out of their seats and cheered for the little girl, causing her to blush and wave back at them nervously.

"Maybe you worry about her too much Mizukage-dono, that little Marashishi seems to be quite the firecracker, not to mention that jutsu of hers would take quite a bit of skill, I would like to see how she fares against the opponents further down the track," Stated the Raikage with a large smile on his face, lightning enhanced taijutsu was his favourite type of combat after all.

"Raikage-sama, I would very much like to see her fight Samui of team Bee. I think both of them would be able to let loose there," His blonde assistant spoke softly.

"I agree Yugito, I think that would be quite the fight."

"I don't think I can worry enough about my little Thunder Dragon, always getting herself into trouble, but I love her dearly, you could say she is Kiri's princess," Spoke Mei giving a small giggle, the leaf and stone had a princess so it was only fair right?

Minato gave a small shake of his head, "I can picture her receiving the name Thunder Dragon in a few years," He added as a small comment, watching the smile that spread across Mei's face.

"Samui wins by forfeit," Spoke Hayate over the crowds, a few boos were heard as Shino walked back into the stands, it would seem that his clan had spoken to him already, maybe that is also while Shikamaru didn't want to continue, he knew their was no point anyway.

He relayed the message to his clone, it was time to bring in Sasuke.

His name was called via the proctor and in a large black flame Naruto and Sasuke appeared back to back, the younger Uchiha had changed drastically in the past month, his hair had grown a fair bit longer, now sitting at almost shoulder length, now he wore combat boots and anbu pants, large buckles were strapped tight around his knees to help keep them in place, on his hips seemed to be large dispensers, used for holding kunai and shuriken.

Chains were wrapped tightly around his arms, having been made a new part of his fighting style, his form was topless as it would only interfere if things got serious, on his neck seemed to be a tattoo of a feather, another on was on his right pec this was a bolt of black lightning though, mostly because the Uchiha clan revolved around black blue and red and lightning was his strongest element. His muscles had been defined to new lengths, he was not overly ripped nor was he skin and bone.

"Thank you Naruto-sensei. I can take it from here," Sasuke spoke with confidence, walking forward and standing opposite Gaara, letting his chained arms hang down to the ground.

"You're late Sasuke, do you have an excuse?" Hayate questioned causing Sasuke to shake his head.

"Any excuse would prove to be worthless when compared to the event in front of us, don't you agree Hayate-san?" Sasuke asked tilting his head to the side, passing across the message and causing the man to nod.

"Well then are both fighters ready?" Getting a nod from both of them the sickly man nodded and dropped his hand, "Begin!"

PA: Boom, next chapter is starting off big, the Gaara V Sasuke fight, some people might be wondering, 'why the hell did you give Sasuke chains?' My answer is really in two parts,

One, chains are badass.

Two, to increase the range and control over his short range raiton by channeling them along the chains, it also helps to improve his taijutsu style.

Some little hints have been dropped around in this chapter about future events, Godzilla is coming as well, I have not forgotten about it, hopefully it will become as awesome as I am picturing it to be. Until next time.
