All summer I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off getting ready for my first ever year of collage. I have gone from being an awesome senor to a lowly freshman once again. This is the first time since I moved into my dorm that I've had free time. So I thought I'd kick back and relax. Nothing is more soothing than clearing out your cluttered brain. So sit back and enjoy this next chapter.
I Do Not Own Danny Phantom.
Beyond the door and the white room Sam and Tucker were in was a techno geek's paradise. Beyond the small room was a large open dome shaped area. Through out the room state of the art computer terminals were set up. Some were even floating as ghosts flew from terminal to terminal. Like the room before it the room was lined with clean white panels.
"There are four rooms like this in the compound. They serve as a communications network and plays a part in out security system. We are currently in the dormitories section. Johnny and I are to take you to Sir. Frostbite's living quarters." Dora said.
Sam nodded while Tucker continued to ogle the hardware.
"Is he ok?" Johnny asked once Tucker started to drool.
Sam shrugged
"He gets like that around tech." she replied.
The small group walked along a small path that had been created between the computers. Dora took the lead as Johnny casually brought up the rear. As they walked Sam felt a shiver run down her spine. She took a look around. Every ghost was busy flying from place to place. No one was paying them any mind. So why was it that she felt such unease. Why was there this unexplained tension. Judging by how Tucker had come back to earth and had stiffened he must have felt it too.
They left the room and continued on through innumerable hallways. They passed rec rooms, mess halls, and even a few gyms. Yet that tension never left. Two ghosts that took the shape of a bear and griffon had approached them at one point. As they passed Johnny stepped on the back of Sam's boot.
"Watch it!" She had exclaimed startled.
"It's not my fault ya got such short legs." He snarked.
She was a little startle at how close behind her he was but said nothing of it.
The rest of the walk passed with out incident.
After a few short minutes they came upon a long hallway of wooden doors. Along the walls were posters and inspirational writings. It was a stark contrast to the rest of the pristine compound. At the end of this hallway was a flight of stairs. The group went up six flights before coming to the floor that they needed. Tucker complained the whole way up. They walked to the end of the hall where two large double doors were. Unlike the rest of the dorms the walls around the doors were abruptly clear. Just before they were right before the doors Johnny and Dora stopped and turned to their right. Before them was another door. This one was smaller in size and surrounded by posters and quotes.
"Sir Frostbite will be inside. He has been expecting you." Dora said kindly.
Sam and Tucker looked at one another before Sam reached for the door knob.
The two entered.

Loathing, anger, hatred, and pain were the main emotions that coursed though his body. Loathing was aimed at the monster before him, anger at himself for following his orders, hatred at the situation all together, and pain from injuries in his legs, wrist, and back. His red eyes swirled with hints of green. Slowly the green began to take over until it was the only color left.
He laid on the cold stone ground. Careful of his wrist he pushed himself up till he could sit upright.
"Shit, still here huh?" he said to himself aloud.
The walls of his prison gave no response.
He leaned against the wall behind him and focused his energy into his healing ability.
When Pariah came calling again he needed to be ready.

"Alright Diana I need you to stay in here with the others ok." Jazz gently told the shaking little girl.
She nodded and walked up the steps into the Fenton RV.
Jazz gently closed the door…then spun in place and sprinted off to where she last saw Phantom. She had abandoned a comrade and she was going back for him dam it! The battle had ended and all was quiet in the streets. Relief units had not been deployed yet and everyone else was unconscious or dead. The silence was suffocating.
As she ran the bright red jump suited body of Valerie came into view. She was laying on her back a foot or two from a crater that Jazz was sure hadn't been there before. Worry over came her as she saw the girl on the ground.
"Valerie!" Jazz called out.
She did not move.
Panic bloomed in Jazz's chest.
Had she been wrong to trust Phantom? Did he kill her?
"VALERIE!" She shouted again.
Still no movement.
After a few more seconds of sprinting she came up to the prone girl.
There she laid, spread eagle, eyes wide open, and
with tears rolling down her face.
"She's alive! Thank God!" Jazz though.
Jazz lowered herself down next to Valerie's head.
"Are you ok?" she asked.
In a languid motion Valerie's eyes moved to look at Jazz.
"Twice."
"What?"
"Twice I've watched someone die to protect me. Why? Why would a ghost protect me? They're all monsters! Why do that?!" Valerie began to get hysteric.
"Phantom's dead?!" Jazz shouted in her head.
Her shock did not show on her face. Instead Jazz pulled Valerie up into her arms and lowered her hood. She began to rhythmically stroke Valerie's dark curls in a soothing manner.
"One's species does not dictate if they are good or evil. He saved me too. Sam told me he was a good sounding board when she visited Danny's grave.(Valerie flinched at the mention of Danny.)Ghost or not he was a good guy." Jazz whispered in Valerie's ear.
After a few moments the tiers stopped.
"Come on. Lets go get the kids back to their homes."
She nodded and both girls walked away.

Out side of his room the heavy foot falls of King Pariah could be heard as the ghost came down the stairs. Upon hearing this he stood up on his almost healed legs and every muscle in his body tensed. The foot steps grew louder till finally they stopped.
He crouched.
The door swung open.
He lunged.
A small dual ensued just as it always did when Pariah came to fetch him.
He lost again.
Second before he saw red a feeling of victory swelled inside of him. No matter how good Pariah thought he was he never once saw the green mist that left his body during every fight.
Thank you so much for being such good sports about my absence.
