The Queen Bitch
Kelly guided me to the great dinning room but I paused before I entered. Then suddenly I felt calm and strong, I saw Kelly staring at me. She took my hand and held it for a minute.
"Bella stay strong, they are just people when you get right down to it."
She gave such good advice and was nurturing, I was starting to see just why Caius was possibly keeping her around but then again unlike me he didn't need a confidence boaster. When Kelly let go I headed into the dinning hall wearing a beautiful white dress that Kelly picked out for me. It was satin and clung to my every curve, I had to admit this dress made me look amazing. Kelly pulled my hair into a beautiful updo, because the dress was backless and my hair was up there was a clear-cut view of my back. There was something sensual about that. I had never felt so sexy as I entered everyone seemed to watch me. There were mostly vampires at the table.
Caius stood immediately and I could see that he was blown away by his face expression. He quickly grabbed my hand and I noticed a beautiful human girl who never looked up.
"This is Bella everyone and she will be having dinner with us tonight." Caius said boldly. "Bella let me introduce you to my family, you met Jane already." Jane didn't say hello she just glared at me and it suddenly felt really chilly in the room, she was brutal.
"Beside her sits Alec her twin brother." Alec nodded slowly his eyes gazed my entire body then he smirked.
"Nice choice Caius, I like my toys natural like that as well she is so unassuming. Can I play with her?"
"Alec be at your best, hello my lady I am Aro; welcome."
There was something strong about his presence I could see he was running this show and he was similar to Caius but impossible to read. He stood now and began speaking and Caius sat down as I remained standing.
"This is Marcus my right hand man one could say." Marcus said nothing he didn't even look at me. "To his left is James and he is a tracker and one of the best might I add. He is also a protector a very sharp boy, he leads all the guards and protectors." James wore his blond hair in a pony tail, he was muscular yet lean and attractive.
"Bella, I think I know of you, oh yes you were Edwards bitch at one time." James said sarcastically, his voice was sultry and sexy although he was a jerk. Everyone at the table laughed and I felt small, I didn't know if I should respond or not.
"Did Edward ravish you good?" James asked.
"No, I don't go around just sleeping with anyone but I think you know that so there probably is no point to what you're saying." Right after the words left my lips I wondered where the hell they came from. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Kelly she was peeking into the room.
If looks could kill I would have been dead, James did not look pleased.
"Oh she has a sharp tong, I didn't think you liked them that way." The guy who was speaking looked so similar to Caius it was remarkable but there were obvious differences. His eyes were like Edwards, they were not red like the rest of the Volturi and he had dimples and something much more babyish. Caius looked prominent and grand but he seemed approachable and somewhat less sharp. His blond hair was longer and wavier and he actually smiled warmly, this was something none of the other members of the Volturi seemed to do besides Aro. But with Aro it was a evil smile.
"Bella this is Coulier he is my blood brother."
"I am the one who created Caius one could say, took him from human to what he is today."
"Hello everyone I'm Bella." I said addressing them all at once.
"Last but not least Bella this is Charlotte the wife of Caius." Aro said as Charlottes' eyes burned me she seemed so unbreakable. She was different from Ramsey because she had a sense of refinement and class and Ramsey looked like one of Hugh Heffner's playmates. I could see instantly why they choose her. I could feel her arrogance and confidence and she didn't seem like someone you could easily intimidate. Aro sat down now.
Charlotte had bright green eyes and soft chestnut brown hair, her hair was so full and luxurious. Her nose was like a little button perfect in every way. Unlike my pale skin hers glowed and her breast looked like full plump coconuts just sitting up in her classical dress. We were complete opposites and that was clear.
"Bella that is your little name right?" She asked, her voice was different then I expected. She had an English accent and spoke rather softly yet fearlessly.
"My name is Bella yes." I sounded just as fearless and I did not know why because I was scared shitless.
"Do you think it is appropriate for my husbands whore to sit in a room with family and friends and to open her whore mouth with a hello to us all. Shouldn't you be downstairs where you belong. Shouldn't you be awaiting my husband so he can fuck you in ways he would not fuck a proper lady, isn't that your purpose whore." Her eyes never flinched and she spoke with passion and pure venom.
Alec and James laughed and Caius just sat there twiddling his fingers, remaining calm and cool as a cucumber like this was normal. He never once flinched or showed that this was awkward and uncomfortable. In fact I thought I saw him smirk a little as if this was some sort of game.
"I guess I'm not your average whore because I'm not going to be downstairs hidden, I'm going to be right here in your face and I think I'm going to sit down now." Wow where did that confidence come from I wondered, I sat down.
James and Coulier looked very entertained, Alec was still laughing although no one else was. Jane was dead silent, she seemed disinterested in everything that was going on.
"Oh you think taking my husbands dick makes you something special I see. Let me make this really clear, you are one of many others and nothing more. I would advise that your only here as a lure for the Cullen's and that is all. Caius plays with you because he has always hated them and stealing you from Edward was such a joy. They will come and die and Carlisle will join the Volturi. Maybe Alice could take your place downstairs, she is who my husband really wants to fuck. When he screws you I am so sure he thinks of her."
This girl knew what to say to jab me in the gut, I swallowed hard then Kelly came into the room, I knew it was to save me. I had met my match in this cruel woman nothing could prepare anyone to take her on.
"The servers will bring in the first course shortly, I am sorry for the delay."
"You are sorry and that is for damn sure Kelly, now go fetch our dinner you black wench." Charlotte screamed cruelly, she was a real nightmare. I didn't know Kelly was biracial but now that I was aware I could see it in her features and it didn't matter to me. The way Charlotte cursed and spoke was atrocious she was not a proper lady, her looks were a lie.
Kelly ran off quickly and no one said a thing, they were use to bossing around human slaves. Charlotte was human but seemed to forget that, she acted like she was above Kelly.
"I can not figure out why you keep that mutt around honey, wasn't her father a nigger and her mother was white trash right. Vampires need to be of pure blood not mixed, you should never change her in my opinion." Charlotte lashed out.
"Wow you need to watch your racist mouth, do not speak about Kelly that way." This I knew came from my heart and I was livid. I hated Charlotte now more then ever, she was far worse then I imagined.
"Charlotte don't speak that way about her race, I can't stand for that sort of talk. Racism sickens me and we are well cultured people. There are many mixed vampires and that has nothing to do with anything." Caius finally spoke and stood up for what was right, I could see that this angered Charlotte intensely.
"Fine then as you wish I will not speak of her culture how ever she is late. Dinner should have arrived by now, I want her punished."
"Why?" I asked her I was past angry.
"That moron is slow that is why and because I said so. In fact James bring her in here and lay her out across this table. Fuck her in front of everyone and make her scream for you to stop, make her hurt."
When she said this I looked across the room no one cared and Alec laughed again. I was sickened these people were crazy, Caius referred to these animals as cultured. Was he insane they were all nuts. James stood up and moved so fast my eyes hurt. He was faster then Caius, when he returned he had Kelly by the neck and she cried. I could not stand for it.
"Let her go now." I stood and so did Charlotte.
"James I am the wife she is secondary who will you listen to." I knew this was a challenge to Charlotte. A way to show me who was boss, I should have never acted defensive of Kelly, it left her exposed.
"This is too much everyone calm down. Kelly is my slave, mine not Charlottes and not Bella's. You two borrow her understand, both of you girls sit down. James let her go at once, she is not yours and I will not tolerate this."
"Have you gone soft?" Marcus spoke and everyone turned towards him. They were surprised, I assumed then that he didn't speak much but when he did everyone listened.
"Soft?" Caius said as if he were stunned.
"Punishment of human slaves is nothing new and many years ago you were all for it. Lately you have become peculiar Caius. I thought your sickness was cured but it seems worse. You need to watch what you are doing because no Volturi member can appear weak. You would be better of dead and you know this, give me your reasons."
"I don't have to explain to you why I don't want my human raped by this scavenger, she is my property how dare you question me."
"Oh so now I am a scavenger Caius, I have done so much dirt for you in the past. Have you forgotten?" James asked.
"That is not your human James and I don't see it as weakness. My brother is taking charge of his women and his slave, he is making the call." Coulier said defensively.
"Stop trying to wipe your brothers ass, you are the one who keeps pushing all these ideas on everyone. None of them work, he is still weak when it comes to these human pets he keeps. Look at this debacle displayed before us with Bella and Charlotte. None of whom he has changed, he has a fetish for keeping them human." Marcus said angrily.
"He simply has not chosen which girl he wants to change, that is what that is all about." Jane said, finally showing a slight interest in things.
"I am sure Caius has his reasons and we must never forget that, he has the right to play with them and to be as cruel or compassionate as he wants. Caius what say you?" Aro asked.
"There will be no rape tonight of my human. You are my wife and if you want her punished I will oblige you but not that way. Not tonight this is a special occasion, my lover is here and you, my wife. As well as most of the family, I want to keep things relaxed."
"I want her ravaged but if you decline me again then I will see it as disrespect. You dare to take the needs of your whore over me, is that what you want to do?"
"It's not about Bella." Caius said sternly.
"It is do not defy me in front of her Caius, I am your queen not her. Prove that to her, you show her who is boss right now."
"Showdown of the women, so what say you Caius. Will you defy your queen in front of us all?" Marcus asked, his eyes were wide. It was then I realized there was competition between Marcus and Caius. I did not fully understand what sort of power play was happening between them but Caius had to make the right call, I knew that. There was so much going on here that I didn't fully understand and things were complicated. Seeing Caius in this scenario showed me just how much pressure he faced.
Caius seemed confident still and he never lost composure.
"You are the wife, you don't tell me what to do that is number one. Number two you can pull the strings all you want to Marcus but still I am second in command and you will always be third. My love for human women does not weaken me, we all crave them in different ways. Whom ever I love is not really your business and how I choose to treat them. Charlotte never question me in front of my family again, Bella you keep silent as well. The fighting will only create chaos, if you two want to duel then do it quietly but this is not my style. Kelly face me now."
James sat down and Kelly stood before Caius, she was crying and that hurt me.
"My wife is offended by your tardiness and wishes to have you punished. She is the queen and my job is to please her as well as yours."
"I understand." Kelly mumbled.
"You will have to be punished but make no mistake this is not about race, it's not even about you I realize. You are a victim of circumstance. You are one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen and one of the most pure of heart. I know that it is rare to see a gifted vampire but you will be because your special in ways only I understand. This is why I will not let any man here have you in a sexual way. Kelly will be something unique and she will make for a damn fine vampire, my vampire and my worker. One day I will change her and she is my friend. I know she will make a good friend to my lover as well. Anyone who has a problem with my appreciation of this fact can kiss my ass. I respect my wife and this is why a punishment will happen, you understand that Kelly?"
"Clearly, your queen has spoken." Kelly said, my heart went out to her she seemed defeated. Caius did what he had to do and he made the tough calls, I understood him more now than before. The way he carried himself in such a difficult situation, I didn't understand him completely but this was a small start.
"Go to your room and prepare for punishment, but actually first I give you a choice. Ten lashes in the nude or solitary confinement in the tombs for a full week, you know what the tombs are like." Caius stated like he was warning her.
"I will take the lashes but I ask that you deliver them." Caius seemed taken back by her request.
"Yes, be a man punish your own slaves." Alec said he was smirking.
"Alec remove yourself from this table." Caius ordered, Alec seemed humiliated as he walked away with his head down, Jane followed him.
"Sit down Jane, no one told you to go he is a man he does not need your mercy." Caius spoke in a demanding tone, I loved the way he took control of this situation. Jane walked back to the table and sat down, I could see she was a little angry.
"Kelly I will deliver your lashes tonight." Kelly nodded and she walked away. Charlotte seemed pleased.
"Salt her afterwards." Charlotte said.
"What?" I asked.
"Salt makes the wounds burn idiot." Charlotte said then she stood. "I have lost my appetite may I be excused dear."
"I will salt her as you wish but sit down." She sat down and I saw her smile, it was then I knew that this meant war. I would take her on and destroy her, I never hated anyone the way I hated her. After dinner everyone left the table except me and Caius.
"Can I come to you tonight for loving and comfort, will you give me your body all night long."
"Yes, I know you need me tonight. I see now what you go through but we will be together and I will change things."
"You are strong Bella, stay strong for me as we rise above this conflict."
I left the table to go bathe, I wanted to make this night special and sensual. I needed him tonight as well.
