Dear Vol,

It took two days - the Change - but it felt a lot longer than that. I woke up, in a warehouse, surrounded by pictures from my childhood and pictures from my funeral. The large lights were dim, loosely hanging from the broken ceiling; the floor was coated with dust and mud; rows of empty, metal shelves were nailed into the blue walls. I would've been scared, had I been human, not daring to do what I did with ease by sitting up on the grey table I lay on. Someone was in here with me - I could sense them. I scanned the memories; my first day at school, my first ballet show and a picture of me hugging my mother tightly before I left for Forks, were a just a few. "What do you want?" I called, surprisingly stronger than I had anticipated my voice would be. There was a laugh. A female laugh. Instantly, I knew who the voice belonged to: rich, bitch Jessica Stanley.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked. She still crept in the shadows, probably believing that I had no clue who she really is, but she was stupid, I'd heard her laugh almost everyday at school - especially frequent when she sat next to Mike Newton in a lesson.
"You still probably don't know why the Volturi managed to track you down." She laughs as she speaks, more sinful and evil than I remember. "Me." I wrinkle my eye brows and spin around on the desk to face her. She steps out from the dark, having changed a lot. Her hair is cut short, her black make-up all around her eyes; she's wearing black, leather leggings, thick boots and a cropped top. She looks dangerous - although I know she can't be.

"Nice look. You don't suit it." Jess singers, beginning to walk towards me.
"Now," she says, "let me explain why your here. I've known Edward was a vampire since the very beginning; my parents have historical based jobs - I think - and they quickly became friends and started to work with the Volturi. Anyway, they sent my mother some pictures of people that they would like to work with, so my mother could do a background check on them and find any clues to where they might be hiding. Guess who was included, Bella."
"Edward and Alice."
"Well done! Now, I then emailed the Volturi explaining how two of their 'hit list' - so to speak - were hiding out in dreary, old Forks. They responded quite eagerly, with some questions about ways they could win their loyalty. Of course, I gave them the 'kill Bella' method. Why else do you think Alec would turn up here?" I didn't respond. I didn't breathe - not that I needed too. I believed that this whole time you had been playing me, wanting me to pass on information, getting Alec to pretend he loved me. Then my beliefs shattered, as Alec smashed through the bolted door.

"What do you think your doing, Jessica? Kidnapping a Volturi's... girlfriend!" Jessica squealed, her fear betraying her bad-ass look. He wouldn't harm her, I know he wouldn't. But I fucking would. I jumped off the table and onto her, her head crashing against the hard floor, knocking her unconscious. My teeth leaned towards her neck, my eyes glowing red. I looked up at Alec, his black shirt and skinny jeans covered in dust. "If you want to, do it." He said.

Love from, Bella x

P.S: please stop doing business with Jessica's parents... Use the internet instead. It's 2014 for God's sake!
