Chapter 13

Bree woke up in a cold sweat. She had a feeling today was going to be a bad day. Elena knocked on the door in a sad voice "Bree time for school...or if you want too we can just stay home today they do allow grieving time for students who have lost a loved one...also I got your daughters up Ridley and Lana wouldn't let go of me they are so lovely and talkative."

Bree smiled at the part of her daughters but sighed at the other and got up to get dressed "I'm up sister we need to go today...wait for me will you...I'll go for emotional support."

Bree grabbed an outfit that was a lovely spring dress that hugged her tight in the right place and grabbed a shawls because of the dress code; in a beautiful green color. Grabbing her purse she made her way downstairs her daughters ran up to her "Aunt Elena made us breakfast," said Ridley.

Elena smiled "It was nothing...ready to go."

Bree nodded picking up Lana and Ridley grabbed her hand "Let's get this day over with...I'll be with you the whole way Elena."

Elena smiled at her "We can do this together."

At the School

Bree kissed her daughters goodbye and dropped them off at their school; a gift from Klaus he compelled Ridley and Lana into the school without any of their birth information or other school information; she legally had no identification for her daughters because they were not born in a hospital.

Bree walked into the school and saw the synthetic looks from the student body, Elena just brushed it off and smiled at everyone but Bree looked at them with hatred she didn't need their sympathy, but her eyes showed her real emotions.

Bree didn't go to history class there was too much emotions in the classroom so Rebekah took hold of her arm and said "Help me with clean up...I don't want to be stuck with Caroline."

Bree smiled and said "Thank you Rebekah."

Rebekah smiled "You can call me Bekah...your family to me."

Bree had to listen to Caroline complain to her about the problems of Tyler and how she didn't like how close she was to Klaus "I mean he is the enemy and an abomination...he did kill your Aunt and kill Elena and look what happened to Tyler."

Rebekah has had enough and stormed Caroline into the lockers and hissed "Don't talk about my family...or Bree she is none of your business...she holds my family together...now leave."

Caroline only said "I'm sorry about your mother," and left.

Rebekah breathed a deep breath and sighed. She hugged Bree and showed a rare emotion to her "I'm sorry she said that. Nik really cares about you...we all do."

Bree smiled and patted Rebekah "its ok Bekah I'm used to what Caroline says she is not my favorite friend of my sister...but I would never tell Elena that."

Rebekah smiled and was about to tell Bree something but then all of a sudden they heard a scream, Bree felt Rebekah grab her arm and they ran at vampire speed to the locker room. They saw Alaric had a stake posed to kill Caroline.

Bree yelled out not at all fazed by Alaric being alive "Alaric...stop!"

Alaric turned towards Bree, which gives time for Rebekah to grab Alaric and throw him out the window. Bree turns to Caroline and Caroline ran for it not wanting to stick around.

Rebekah breaths out and composes herself and said "We have a problem...I'll tell my brother."

Gilbert Home

Bree got a lift from Rebekah and said "Thank you for the lift Rebekah."

Rebekah smiled behind her sun glasses "Not a problem...your my sister after all."

Bree smiled and finished "A sister in all ways but blood."

Rebekah nodded and smirks "I'll have Nik call you later."

Bree nodded and helped her daughters out and walked to the house they all yelled together "Bye Bekah!"

When Bree opened the door they heard yelling in the kitchen, and Bree heard her brother and Stefan was the ones yelling. She saw Jeremy was red in the face and Stefan looked shocked about to attack.

Bree not wanting her daughters to see any of this said "Ridley you and Lana upstairs now."

Ridley and Lana nodded and grabbed each other hands and ran upstairs. Bree grabbed her brother and glared at Stefan "What did you do?"

Stefan was about to answer when the door flew open and Damon walked in supporting a knocked out and bloody Bonnie "We have bigger problems than yours brother, Bree..."

Bree sighed and turned to Jeremy "Go somewhere else for a while; we'll talk about this later."

Jeremy sighed and glared at Stefan but left, Damon put Bonnie on the couch and waited for her to wake up. Bonnie woke up gasping and Stefan and Damon had to hold her down, Bree said "Bonnie tell us everything."

Bonnie told how Esther forced her blood down Alaric's throat and they have plans. They wanted to kill all the vampires.

Damon bangs his hand on the table and sighs "I should have ended his life when I had the chance. He wouldn't have wanted this."

Bree was about to say something when she felt her sister Elena's pain. Bree quickly got out her phone and dialed Elena's number "What is it Ellie."

She gasped out "Alaric's got Caroline and he wants me."

Bree held the phone close and almost crushed it "Elena stay where you are, do not go anywhere!"

Elena sighed "I'm sorry Bree..." with that she hangs up the phone.

"No Elena!" yelled Bree.

Damon and Stefan tried to ask what was going on and what is wrong with Elena. Bree didn't answer "I got to go stop Elena."

Damon yelled out to stop but Bree shook her head and had already reached to door and found Klaus standing there "Nik I thought you were going to call me."

Klaus smirked and said "Why I'm here for you love. Where going on a trip," he then turned to Damon and Stefan who tried to protect Bree and pull her behind them, "I also need something from the doppelganger...and I'm not leaving without them both."

Damon hissed "You will not hurt Elena or her sister."

Bree pulled back from behind them "Guys I'm fine let me talk to Klaus."

Stefan shook his head "No way."

Bree shook her head as Stefan stubbornly closed the door behind Klaus. She was about to say something when the windows bust open with fence wood. Bree went to the window and saw Klaus's yellow wolf eyes and fire on the other parts of the fence ready to burn down her home and yelled "Nik please stop! I need your help, please my love."

Damon popped up his head "Your love, Great my friends dating the enemy."

Bree walked outside and to Klaus's side and took the fire out of his hands and looked him in his wolf eyes "Don't do this."

Klaus lowered his arms and kissed her face "I would never hurt my mate."

Bree sighed and looked back at her family house where Damon, Stefan, and Bonnie walked out "Nik I need your help."

Nik's eyes turned back to their normal blue "What do you need love?"

"My sister's been kidnapped by Alaric your mother brought him back to kill us all."

Ridley and Lana came running out at their mothers yelling and smiled when they saw Klaus "Nik!"

Klaus smirked at them, and patted their heads. Damon rolled his eyes and said "What are we waiting for! Let's go!"

Klaus nodded "I will help you my Briana whatever you need."

Sorry that it took so long to update, I had a lot to think about what direction that I'm heading in with this story. Thank you for all of the reviews they have really helped out with the direction that I'm heading in.
