A yip/bark call out from the distance, one of the guards look out and listen to the sounds then run to his ranking officer "Ma'am there's someone coming"

she close her eyes and listen "indeed and will not allow anyone to crash this celebration"

"should we send Scooters?"

she nod then whistle "Behitha, Zilya" she point towards the sound and the male and female pair jump off the wall and rush towards the sound after disappearing into the trees.

Having spent a good bit of energy satisfying Kim, Shego has to now push herself to get to the inner territory as quickly as possible, but it was worth it and now she's pumped for anything...except this damn run, however she doesn't have time to laminate on pleasuring her wife, her thoughts are too preoccupied with Betty's earlier report.

Digging her claws deeper into the ground she ask herself 'why would he do that to his own Mom, why?' her ears perk up, causing her to skid to an unscheduled stop 'the hell?' she stand there calmly while raising her head sporadically to sniff around 'something doesn't feel or smell right' she take a few steps while looking around into the trees on both sides of the trail, then break into an all out run.

While closing in on the gate, emerald eyes catch movement in their peripheral, she turn her head to try and catch glimpses of them 'come try it dammit' she yip/bark to the Guards on the wall announcing her arrival, so they'd be prepared to open the doors; however, as she round a curve in the trail, she's charged at by several Guardian Lycans.

The sudden assault halt her in her tracks instantly 'what the...guys stop!' the Lycans does as ordered while she bark furiously at them 'what is this?!'

'you should know!' one Lycan tell her

'all I know is I'm returning home and my Warriors are attacking their Commander-in-fucking-Chief!' she eye the few Lycans that cower, but glare at them all 'explain!'

One Lycan bravely growl back at her 'we have nothing to explain!'

she snarl back 'come again!' the impudent brave heart cower along with the rest 'I leave for my Family Day, only to come back to this, SmokyMarsh, I personally appointed you as defacto Beta, so explain this!'

A brown, motley grey Lycan with a grey mask-like patch on it's face, step forward and hesitantly walk over to the enraged she-wolf and circle her, taking in her scent 'the Dragon's Mark is there...she's the appropriate height...' the inspecting Lycan stop in front of her and stare into her eyes, a trait no respecting low-ranking Lycan would ever do with any ranking Lycan above them and he instantly regret it, because, the baleful glare in those green, slightly glowing red orbs cause him to flinch and bow his head in fear 'same terrifying eyes.'

EbonyMoss growl while stomping the ground 'SmokyMarsh, what the fuck does any of that have to do with my fucking explanation?!'

he step back in fear, but continue his evaluation 'and as always she smells of Lady ScarletVixen...and...'

she glare at him 'and?' he keep his head bowed and look to the Lycans flanking him, then slightly up to her, causing her to tense as their fur bristle and they began growling intensely.

Green eyes look down at the now freshly cleaned and bandaged brunette "how bad is it?"

blue eyes close as the older redhead sigh "she'll live, she wasn't too injured...externally, in the skirmish, but she needs rest to repair the internal ones"

Kim slump in relief "how did everything come to this, we all love...loved Skah"

"greed and power can corrupt anyone"

"but he's her uncle, her father's brother, they're family, why should it matter who get's what, they should be happy with them, not jellin over it"

Ann smile and sit on the bed "well Elizabeth is stable..." she check the tightness of some of the bandages then look to her daughter "why don't we let her rest peacefully?" Kim stare at the sleeping brunette again then get up with her mother and leave the room

Betty's eye lids tighten "no Sanai...don't go...go home...imp..." her head turn to te side and she fall asleep again as her face relax.

Faye spot her Mom and Grandma coming from the hallway and run over to them "Momma, Grandma..."

the two older redheads stop to watch the smaller one and smile "did you blow up something again kiddo?"

she shake her head and get straight to way she called them "what's with the commotion, did something happen?"

they stare at her then smile again "no just the adults discussing some things"

"like Aunt Betty being carried to the guest room?" they look at her speechless and she shrug "I caught it while playing with Dion, after Mommy cursed loudly, you seemed to tense up..." she point to her Mother "and a little after you left, Gramps and Granny left, I really didn't pay any attention, because they're always leaving and you'd leave sometimes to go on missions, but I kinda noticed Granny's body languages seemed different, along with both Uncles when they left, so I got curious and kept stealing glances to see if something else might happen and only caught Gramps leg and back, Kai was the one who caught them carrying Aunt Betty..."

the redhead just continue staring at the smaller one "Neci also said she smelled something metallic, but not really metal cause it seemed sweet and meaty, which was weird, but I also thought the same thing, so I'm wondering...well we're wondering what's going on?" the mother and daughter look over at Kai, Mika and Neci unsure then back down at the redhead again.

Kim sigh and kneel down to her level "Faye, honey..." she sigh again "when I tell you, promise me, you'll stay here at the Gran's house with your the others, promise me okay?"

Faye stare at her then smirk looking so much like Shego only with red hair "I can half promise"

Kim chuckle lightly while grabbing her hands "I should've expected that, but no, I need you to really promise me"

realizing this is a plea and not so much an order the smaller redhead sigh and smile genuinely, revealing she does have Kim's genes as well "yes Momma I promise, I won't run off I'll stay"

Kim smile back in relief "thanks"

"but..."

she look at her daughter confused "but?"

"I can't guarantee Agwe will be able to hold back if our Moms are in trouble"

the slightly older redhead stare at her really confused now then raise her eyebrows as realization hit her, knowing now what she meant "so that's your Spirit's name?" Faye nod and green eyes turn to Neci

"mine is Jansa"

"okay..." she let Faye go and stand up "well somethings are going on at home, an argument and Sanai is hoping to end it quickly, so she went back"

"and Aunt Betty?"

Kim smile over at Kaison "well as always, no matter what she has to face, she's behind her 100%, if it benefits the pack, she'll fight and die for them, along with your Mother, but Director just got in a few fights on the way here that used up major energy"

"aren't you forgetting two things?"

a fiery eyebrow raise "like what?"

"Skah and Kolya."

To everyone's surprise, Ann snarl in response to that, it's so fierce, Kim jump to Faye's side, slightly defensive, but all scared "uh...Mom?"

Ann growl repeatedly to try and calm herself "I'm sorry Kim, but..." she snort and begin pacing "how I hate that name, Kolya, and the bastard it's attached to"

the second generation redhead is taken back by the cursed label being used to call another person, sure he's a vampire, but it's her mother using the language and sure she hears Shego and Betty use it alot, but it just seems different when her own Mother use it, since she's only heard her use pseudo-curses "uh...it doesn't seem like he's popular at all, I know why Sanai hates him, but why do you...have you met him before?"

Ann sigh heavily "yes and I didn't just meet him..." she look her daughter in her eyes "he was almost my life mate."

That shock everyone and Kim laugh "you're kidding right?"

Ann look at her insulted, hurt and upset "why would you think I'd joke about that?!"

Kim wave it off "sure the Vampire King and my Lycan Mother almost mated and formed a child"

Ann mess around with her fingers like a scared child "well I wouldn't say almost" all eyes focus on her and she turn away from them realizing her mistake "I...I spoke too soon..."

fern green eyes stare hard at the other redhead "what you mean...you mean, you two did mate and had a kid?" Ann nod "who is it?"

the older redhead shake her head "I can't say"

"why not?"

"sorry Kimmie, but I really can't say" Kim reach out to rest her hand on her mother's shoulder, but Ann step away "don't Kim, I don't deserve the sympathy..." she sniff and look in the house at her husband "I'll be in the room with Elizabeth, you can finish up here" she head inside as Kim reach for her again then sigh in defeat.

"I wonder what that was all about?"

a hand rest on her shoulder and she look up to see her son smiling down at her "you okay?"

Kim nod numbly "just wished I knew what the secret is?"

he squeeze her shoulder tightly "I'm sure she'll tell you one day"

they watch as James look at them then comfort his distraught wife and lead her towards the hall, Kim grab his hand "I hope so, I'd like to know if I have another sibling out there and it doesn't matter who or what they are, they're family" she close her eyes then turn to her kids, which also includes Mika, whether she marries Kaison or not "so until this is over, we're staying here" they nod "good, now let's get some sleep."
