Communicating With Each Other

Several days passed since Wilbur returned to the Pudgy Pidgey islands. At the moment, he was happy to be back home, taking care of the big Pidgeys that lives on the island. Although he was glad to be back home, he misses Krystal.

Every day, he thinks about her when he goes out gliding. Krystal misses Wilbur as well. Every day, after she came home from work, she walks up to the top of a nearby hill and stares out into the open sky, sometimes expecting to see Wilbur gliding on his glider. But of course, he wasn't.

Nonetheless, they continue on with their lives. But they can't stop thinking about each other.

One day, Wilbur had just entered his house when he got a phone call. He could see that I was from an unknown caller.

"Must be a prank caller," he thought, "Never mind." At the same time, Krystal also got a phone calls as well. She didn't know who it was, so she didn't answer it. Instead, she stared out at the window and thought about something. But that didn't stop the flood of random phone calls that she kept getting.

Luckily, she ignores them. "Who on earth is calling me?" she thought. Wilbur on the other hand, he has been getting less random phone calls. One day, at the same time, Krystal and Wilbur were going out.

That's when they both got another phone call at the same time. Like so, they didn't answer it, but this gave them an idea. "Yes!" they both said at the same time, "I'll do it!" They said that as they set out. They decided to give each other a phone call when they got home that day.

So that's what they've done. They've picked up their phones and began dialing. Of course, Krystal was quick to act. Wilbur was about to dial his number when his phone rang. So he answered it. "Hello," said Wilbur, "Who is this?"

"It's me, Krystal," explained Krystal. "Hey, Krystal," Wilbur said with delight, "How have you been doing?" "I'm doing great." Said Krystal, "But things have been quiet for me around here ever since you've left."

"I understand," said Wilbur, "I've been thinking of you." "You have?" asked Krystal, "I've been thinking of you, too." "Yeah," agreed Wilbur, "Home is really quiet around here. I just want to let you know that."

"Ok," said Krystal. "And I was thinking of bringing you over here on the Pudgy Pidgey Island someday," said Wilbur. "Really?" asked Krystal. "Yes," said Wilbur, "Sorry that I couldn't do it this time."

"It's okay," said Krystal. "I knew you had to stay at home," said Wilbur, sympathetically. "I know," said Krystal, "I have my own work to do." "By the way," Wilbur said, "Have you been getting a lot of phone calls lately?"

"Yes," answered Krystal, "I don't know what they were all about." "Me too," said Wilbur. "Really?" asked Krystal, "You've been getting phone calls, too?" "Yes," answered Wilbur, "But I knew they were not from you." "How did you know that?" asked Krystal.

"Because I knew that they probably won't have the same voice like yours," answered Wilbur, "An angel." "Really?" said Krystal, "My voice is like an angel?" "Yes," said Wilbur, "I think of you like an angel."

"Well, thanks," said Krystal. "You're welcome," said Wilbur, "In fact, I was going to call you first." "Well," chuckled Krystal, "I guess I beat you to that, didn't I?" "You sure did," smiled Wilbur, "And I promise, the next time we meet, I will think of you like a special person."

"Like an angel?" asked Krystal. "Yes," answered Wilbur. "Thank you for saying that," said Krystal. "Well," said Wilbur, "I got to go now. It was nice talking to you." "Ok," said Krystal, "I'm glad that I could talk to you." "Me too," smiled Wilbur, "I love you."

"And I love you, too," replied Krystal, "See you real soon." "Of course," smiled Wilbur. They said good-byes and hung up. "That felt great," they both said at the same time.

Just then, Krystal heard a knock at her door. She ran to the door and opened it, to see that it was Freddie. "Hey, sis," said Freddie, "I've come by to pick up something for Machop." "Okay," said Krystal and she let Freddie inside.

"Guess what, Freddie?" Krystal asked, "I've talked to Wilbur on the phone! That is great of him!" "I certainly agree," said Freddie, "How is he doing?" "He's doing fine," Krystal answered, "He said he misses me. But he wants to come over and see me sometime soon."

"That's good to hear," said Freddie. "Well, the idea came from all those phone calls that I never answered," chuckled Freddie. "I see," said Freddie, "And there is a troublesome story about that." "What?" asked Krystal, "Troublesome?"

"It turns out," Freddie explained, "That there was a prank caller that had calling other houses for no reason whatsoever." "I see," said Krystal.

"Anyway," Freddie continued, "The caller was so stupid that he made the wrong phone call at the Pokemon Center about some sort of plague. Nurse Joy didn't think that was funny at all. When the truth was revealed, let's just say the prank caller ended up at a strict boarding school. Let's say it's not really funny for him there."

"I take it that it serves him right for being a troublesome prank caller," chuckled Krystal. "Yes, it does, sis," smiled Freddie. "Thanks, Freddie," said Krystal. So Freddie got some workout equipment pieces for his Machop and set off.

Krystal stayed behind and thought for a moment. "Yes," she thought, "I want to see you again real soon. I mean soon."

Meanwhile, Wilbur made his decision, "All right, then, I'm going to visit her again real soon." So that's what he will do.
