It was 1:45 in the morning at the tower and no one was walking the halls on every floor. How I know is the fact that I usually wheel around at this time. My nightmares has gotten worst and J'onn says my lack of sleep could be a side-effect do to the experiments. It's quite peaceful around here at night and on certain floors the only light comes from the giant windows with the small lights on the ceiling and the base of the walls. The place I love to check out most is the basement lab when Batman was usually away or asleep because it was the one place that didn't have security cameras. Today he was asleep on a bare spot on his examination table. There was a microscope beside him and a couple of test tube stands carrying chemicals and my blood; I grimace at the sight. Every time I come down here it's a reminder that I'm nothing, but an experiment to people. Then I think of Batman and how hard he's working to help me. I don't deserve to be helped, yet he's doing everything in his power to protect me. I turned my head to look at him and smile. He always looked as peaceful as the tower and I would want to stroke his face, but knowing him those reflexes would kick in and he'll wake up. So I just sit there and look at him for a while, but something grabbed my attend in the corner of my eye. The giant computer scene had a notification of an updated file with my name on it; Maya Maria Gonzales.

I walked over to the computer and clicked on the file, but a screen popped up saying Password needed. I looked behind me to be sure Batman was still fast asleep then I turned to type in 91939.

Access granted

*You need a new password, Batsy* I thought as I clicked on the file again.

As expected I saw my photo, blood type, and a simple description. Then my curiosity kick started to a whole new level as I became bored with my file, so I searched around for a new file. Eventually I found it after about 20 minutes the file titled Profiles. I looked back at Batman once more to be on the safe side, but when I saw that he was still catching Zs I went back to the screen. The backgrounds and identities of every hero in the League appeared before my eyes within seconds. I quickly looked for Wonder Woman, Superman, Batgirl, and Nightwing. One after the other I found there names, locations, and history. Superman caught me off guard the most because I would have never imagine him as a small town Kansas boy with glasses. I was about to go when I saw Batman's file in the corner of my eye.

*Maya, you shouldn't even be here in the first place. What you're doing can get yourself in some serious trouble. Not to mention you'll lose everyone's trust* Without a second thought I turned back to the screen.

"Morning" Superman greeted as he entered the gym.

Nightwing, Batgirl, and Maya had already begun there training when he came in. The two heroes froze and stared at him terrified. "UH.."

"Guys, he knows it's find"

"Why did you tell him?" Nightwing turned toward me.

"What it's not like I had a choice. He asked so I told the truth it's that simple. Besides it's not a bad idea to have him in on the secret." He seemed frustrated with my calm persona and I tried not to laugh.

"Don't worry kids your secret is safe for now" He looked at me in a way that caused me to feel like a child.

"Stop that!" I crossed my arms. "I already have him telling me to spill the beans I don't need you too"

"You sure?" He copied my posture and lifted an eyebrow.

"Yes I'm sure. In fact I'm..."

"So it's true?" Her voice came from behind me and I felt a shiver move up my spine. I turned around to see Wonder Woman walking up to us in a heap of rage.

"YOU TOLD HER?!" I looked at Superman, feeling betrayed. "Seriously? What happened to keeping it hush hush?"

"Don't look at me like that..."

"Hey!" She shouted to grab my attention. "What made you think this "plan" of yours was going to work?"

"I just...I didn't?" I said sheepish.

"Damn right you didn't" She then looks at Nightwing and Batgirl. "And you two. You're luck neither of us went to Batman about this"

"It's not their fault! I'm the one that..."

At that moment the we heard J'onn on the intercom. "Maya I need you in my lab immediately."

"I'm a bit busy getting chewed out at the moment." I looked up to the ceiling and shouted a louder the necessary.

"I'm afraid it can't wait" He finished and the intercom disconnected.

"You heard the man I have to go..."

Superman looked puzzled, but he looked at me and said. "We'll go with you"

"No I'm good" I said as I got in my wheelchair to leave, but he grabbed the back.

"You don't have an option"
