Disclaimer: I do not own Austin and Ally.

A/N: After two months of hiatus, I'm finally here with a new update. Please enjoy. And thank you all for continually supporting this fanfic.

And a big yay for Austin & Ally getting a season four…

From A To Z

N is for Nervous

Trish rarely got the jitters. No, seriously. Nervous breakdowns may be Ally's specialty, but for Trish, it was exceedingly rare.

Speaking in front of a large crowd? A piece of cake. Getting hired for a job at the mall? That was easy. Taking a sixty-point test? Well, she was pretty confident in her ability to guess the answers. She hardly even knew the symptoms of anxiety.

Until now. There was only one, simple explanation. It was his fault entirely. Him and his stupid yet appealing smile—not that she would admit the appealing part out loud….

Did he have any idea what he was doing to her lately? The odd, sort of fluttery feeling in her stomach. She couldn't pinpoint when it started, but she knew it had its beginning somewhere between the friendlier conversations they'd been having in recent months (with only a little of the usual bickering), and watching every Zaliens movie ever made. Something had changed, and she was confused. Like, when did his annoying quirks suddenly make her want to smile fondly at him? When did she start looking forward to spending time in his company? And what about that fluttery feeling in her stomach?

She certainly knew what it was, but it was different than what she'd ever felt for Jace, or even Trent. It felt more…real. And it scared her.

A/N: I've got about five final projects on my plate for the remaining 16 days left in my high school education. But on the bright side, I've no final exams. Then I have upcoming graduation, along with anticipation for college. There's a lot going on. I'm going to try to post the second chapter for Reconnecting, hopefully before I graduate? And, I will start regularly updating for this fanfic again. Yay. And to any of you who are currently taking exams at school, or close to having exams, I wish you the best of luck.

Oh, and I made a small tweak to the "J" chapter, concerning the name of the boy that Trish is seen talking to.
