Beginning Again
I DO NOT OWN THE BOY/GIRL BATTLE SERIES, JUST MY OWN FANFICTIONS. I ALSO OWN SCOTT HATFORD, MARY AND RUTH MALLOY, AND BEN AND BELINDA and her little sister Lin which will appear later.
IMPORTANT: I'm so sorry I didn't update the day I promised. I got really sick, including hallucinations, coughing up blood, and getting bloody noses...
Yeah. -_-
But anyway, I'm feeling a bit better, enough to begin to type. Also, my computer glitched and I had to start the stupid chapter all over again, 5 DIFFERENT TIMES!
Thanks for the Reviews :D
CHAPTER 14: Made it
*****PAGE BREAK******
Eddie's POV
"Hey Eddie...this belongs to you." Jake said, as he held out my journal.
I had completely forgot about it, since Wally and Caroline got lost in the woods and what not.
"Thanks..." I muttered, taking it. We went our seperate ways and I went into my room and sat down at my desk. I opened the journal and got out a pen.
I only wrote down five words: "I'm dating Jake Hatford secretly."
Caroline POV
Today was the day that we get the results for the town musical. Mary looks nervous as we walk to the city hall where the resluts would be posted. Wally and Peter tagged along.
The only thing we knew so far, was that the musical was going to be The Wizard of Oz.
When we finally arrived to the city hall, we headed strait for the doors where the list was posted.
I looked at the name and saw my name under Glenda the Good Witch. I jumped with joy. Glenda was a really good part! Sure, she only had a few appeariances, but she was a really important character.
We then scanned the list for Mary...and found it at the top, right next to Dorothy.
Mary got the lead! She got to be Dorothy! Mary's eyes were wide open and shined in surpise. Peter gave a whoop and spun Mary up and around, making Mary giggle.
Wally gave a chuckle. "Guess talent runs in the family."
I smiled as I scanned the list to see what everyone else got. I started laughing out loud when I saw Belinda Garcia right next to "Wicked Witch."
Karma. You gotta love it.
Ruth's POV
Scott and I headed to the park on this warm afternoon.
He was carrying his camera, wanting to get some nature shots while we were there. He was a really good photographer.
I was holding a black backpack, which held the soccer ball we were going to play with. We both wanted to join the soccer team, and we promised to practice with each other at least once a week.
For this occasion, I wore grey sport shorts, black running shoes, and a blue and black striped tank top. Scott wore white soccer shorts, and a green t-shirt. His black camera was hanging from his neck.
"Hey Ruth? How did you start playing soccer?" Scott suddenly asked.
"My dad really liked soccer, so when my mom was alive, we would go to the park and play, the four of us. Mary and Mom were okay, but my Dad was really good. I looked up to him then, because he would have fun, and never gave up. But then...my mom died, and he stopped playing with me. Mary would play with me when we could, but we didn't play as often as we used to." I said, looking at the ground. "What about you?" I asked, glancing at him. He was looking up at the sky.
"My dad and my mom both liked soccer. We would play a lot. My dad sighned me up for a soccer camp and I went. It turns out, I was pretty good, thanks to my parents helping me practice. I don't have real siblings, but I sometimes play with Peter, or even Jake at times. I actually used to be on the team back home but then...the accident happened and I had to move over here to Buckman." Scott said.
We arrived to the park. It wasn't empty, but it wasn't full of people either. It had a good handfull of people here and there.
"Okay, I'm going to warm up while you take photos, and when you're done you can join me...sounds good?" I asked.
"Perfect." he said, brushing his black hair out of his eyes.
He walked towards the trees, while I began to dribble the soccer ball around.
Scott POV
I managed to take a few good shots of some birds, and even of a butterfly. I was looking around for more shots to take, when I hear Ruth giggle. I looked over at her.
Even though she had her ankle bandaged up from her attack, she used her knee to bounce the soccer ball up and down. I smiled a little and aimed my camera at her.
I took really good photos of her bouncing the ball, then dribbling it, and I got her tossing the ball up in the air with her good foot. The photo after that is of her hitting the ball with her head.
Since I've started hanging out with her, I felt my depression slipping away. She amazes me on how talented she is. She's girly, but she still likes sports. She's so strong, even after going through what she did. She cares a lot for others.
I think I'm falling for her.
Hope you enjoyed it!
Yes, I'm alive.
I'm so sorry I don't write as often, but I'm sick. Like, really sick. If you read my other fanfic for B/G Battle Series...
Also, I'm so sorry about any spelling or grammer mistakes, I just suck at spelling and I don't have the correcting grammer thing on my computer :/
Please review!
Love you all my Jolly Ranchers!
