Hopefully there won't be any confusion at the end of this chapter if there is just ask and I'll answer it in the next one.

Thank you all for the reviews by the way, in all honesty they used to make me put these out faster by my taste for writing flickers on and off, sorry if that's annoying I know it is because I have an aneurism when writers I like piss off for months at a time.

I have no real excuse besides the fact that I kinda worked myself into a rut, rl stuff dw about it. Fear not though, I got the tingles for this story again, so hopefully we'll pick it up once more.

The flow is a big necessity for my writing, when I lose it, it can take ages to get it back.

Hurader: Yes, the Swarm at this point go about unchecked, but there will be a healthy dose of exposition later to clear up any possible concerns.

Guisniperman: If it were up to me Natsuki would never age, anime toddlers are the coolest, because there not real people, because real toddlers are the fucking devil. XD.

TheMysteriousOtaku: I'm so doing that now XD. I can just imagine it now, Menma standing over the Batarian home-world, Alucard all bulged up from a massive glowing Baneling and then droppin' than fucker. Such joy you have brought me.

Yinko: True words indeed. But Menma is also more cautious than the previous Overminds, so if at times it seems like he's doubting the Swarm's power he's not really it's just caution.

The inhabitants of Elna will eventually see the stars but I don't want to just throw them loose, mostly because of Cerberus, and the likes of those of Sur'kesh, human experimentation isn't exactly something I want to write about.

Start, Eden Prime 3 Months Since Last Chapter.

Commander Jane Shepard, Hero of Elysium, street rat who clawed her way into the Alliance Navy and into her current position of Commander. She'd done the shitty jobs to the glorious, she'd killed hundreds of foes in the name of the Alliance and protecting those she called comrades, protecting the innocents of her species.

Her short flaming red hair a few loose locks falling near and around her sparkling emerald eyes and tanned skin, dotted with a few freckles across her cheeks, she was a beauty to be sure, in a full suit of N7 armour, the elite of the Systems Alliance, black thick and durable plates of protective armour covered her form, an Avenger assault rifle clutched in her hands, as her back was pressed against an outcropping rock near the dirt road that herself, and her Lt. Kaidan Alenko had been traversing, previously there were three in their squad, until the rookie, Jenkins, was taken out by a squad of drones, they tore right through his shields and armour with what appeared to be energy based weaponry.

Jane and Kaidan had continued one, as any good soldier would, unfortunately they didn't expect the next patch of resistance, 'Fucking Geth!? Here? Does god have a fucking vendetta against me or something!' Groused the inner voice of Jane Shepard, a low growl leaving her lips as he popped from cover and released a controlled burst of shots directly into the gut of a Geth Trooper, it stumbled a bit in its advance in time for her to adjust and pop off a round right into its flashlight.

"I can't believe it, first that new species rolls around into Council space, and now the Geth. Colourful few months eh Commander?" Asked Kaidan, attempting to input some light into their situation, he flared with biotic power and executed a Lift on the remaining four Geth, both Shepard and the survivor of this platoon popped from cover and unloaded into the floating Geth.

Ashley Williams, 'Wearing WHITE AND PINK armour, Jesus I need a drink and some chocolate before I have an aneurism.' Ahh chocolate, one thing that was good about the human race, they had chocolate. Suck it aliens the treasure of the universe belonged to us!

*Ahem*

Ashley Williams, Gunnery Chief of the Systems Alliance had black hair tied into a bun, underneath a helmet that covered all but her mouth, a transparent visor over her eyes, her armour was primarily white with pink trimming, for some reason, she bore an Avenger Assault Rifle. Panting in exhaustion.

"Yeah I suppose…" Grumbled Jane, "Those 'Zerg' are weird as shit, I mean I know their aliens and all but do you remember the initial explosion over the Extra-Net that they were the next Rachni?" Shepard smirked as she remembered the first month of so that the 'new guys' in the galaxy revealed themselves, essentially a giant Hivemind of hyper-intelligent bugs that took DNA from other stuff to make themselves stronger. Their leader, the Overmind or whatever, was something that actually put Shepard on edge, the idea of one entity being in control of such a massive force with no opposition within said force was enough to scare even the council.

Speaking of, the Council lost their metaphorical shit when the 'Overmind' just decided to 'pop in for a visit' to the Citadel, his massive space-dragon-thing didn't show up on any scanners, the first attempts to contact it were met with failure, then it just stopped, not far from the Citadel and a smaller, but still fucking creepy, creature left its mouth and landed on the Citadel.

The 'Overmind' left the 'Overlord' and brought along with him a bunch of side-show lookin' critters into the very heart of the Presidium before C-Sec finally caught up to him and managed to 'apprehend' him. Anyone with a brain could see that's exactly what the Overmind wanted.

After a short and sour interrogation right there in the centre of the Presidium the 'invading forces' were escorted elsewhere, the public wasn't privy to the rest of the story, all they knew was that initially this 'big threat to galactic peace' showed up and then the next second said 'threat' was their new neighbour in the great vacancy that is the galaxy.

Not that it really bothered Shepard, she was a soldier while she found it entertaining she had more interesting shit to worry about, there have been a few people 'lucky' or unlucky depending on your point of view, to have met a few Zerg.

Reactions were…Interesting.

Many met them with fear, saying that they were nothing but primal beasts that needed to be put in pens, the Overmind took none of the comments kindly, one Asari was almost torn in half by his strange biotics, the rage that was through those burning eye sockets within that carapace helmet chilled many to the bone.

The Krogan loved him, funnily enough, apparently the Overmind had gotten word of the Krogan's plight and was outraged beyond words, literally he said nothing, but his entire body spoke of pure rotten disgust. Shepard supposed in her own way she did kinda care, because how else would she know all these super interesting facts that just so happen to ooze exposition.

A low bass heavy sound rippled through the air, not far from their position a massive ship of some kind, it had what could be descried as tentacles at the lower half of its body big red 'eyes' the sounds of several shots rang out over the hill, Shepard rallied her little team and booked it up through the ruins, discovering the relic had been moved, suspicious, most likely the Geth's doing.

She encountered zombie-like humans that seemed to have all their organs replaced with tech of some kind, it was revolting, but still a well-placed shot here and there put the monsters down. Shepard didn't bother with scanning over the camp if there was a fire-fight than she needed to find whoever was involved, maybe they could present some reason to the chaos.

Earlier…

Alucard had been cruising, a massive energy signature the likes of which actually bothered the Overmind resided from a planet nearby, Menma was going to survey the effects upon the planet, the energy was residual at best unfortunately, he could already feel the origin fleeing the sector, he could chase, no doubt, but he wanted to see if this presence left any effect on the squishy organic humans.

Yes he was organic, but he wasn't squishy, Banelings were squishy, creep was squishy, he wasn't squishy, poor humans and their lack of natural badass armour. He felt the approach closing rapidly, Alucard opened his mouth and shot a powerful blast forward, Menma was actually inside a cocoon at the moment, much like a drop-pod actually, it was heavily reinforced to withstand the impact on planets along with breaking the atmospheric seal around said planets.

Upon impact with a mountain the Zerg Overmind burst from his pod, standing tall and proud. His blackened carapace shrouding his form, armour that could make any warrior jealous, his tail whipping back and forth lazily his helmet was up, four bovine-like horns protruding forward casting him in an intimidating light, pulsing lights of electric blue ran along the edges of his armoured plates. Around his shoulders and the backs of his forearms were spines that could pierce even the toughest of metals.

"This planet smells like ass." Grumbled the Uzumaki, "Wish I had my scarf. That fixes all my problems." He leapt off the mountain his massive senses wreathing the area, synthetic life-forms, organic, mixes of the pair that seemed so far against nature it was wrong, even to him.

And that was saying something.

Menma's wings exploded from his back the membrane becoming transparent under the rays of the sun, his sharp gaze picking one spot that spoke of unforseen importance at the moment, his body blurred and vanished from sight as he appeared atop the higher level of the outdoor stocking bay for the space-port.

Menma's body was wreathed in shadows, it felt like ice entered his veins as his body temperature dropped rapidly, hiding him from heat sensors, he stayed crouching in the darkness, a single human was visible to him at the moment, a man whom was hidden behind several crates, his very being was wreathed in fear, Menma hummed silently the tiny vibrations within the centre of his throat being the only proof of it ever occurring.

'Hmm…A dock-worker whom was hidden before the attack…He requires rest to get through shifts, runs a small smuggling ring…Nothing to terrible all things considered, congratulations, Powel. You're now shielded from any possible sensors as well.' Menma twisted the Force around the man, making it so anything, anything that looked his way would immediately dismiss the area and continue on.

His eyes lifted once more to the main area, a Turian, he knew this Turian actually, his name was Nihlus, a member of the SPECTER's, Special Tactics and Reconnaissance, the 'Right arm of the Council'. Menma was unamused at such a notion.

The fact that everyone sucked the Council's collective dicks was greatly annoying to one such as he, who despised Council's in general; the very word left a stale taste in his mouth. That and the Council of the Citadel were so fucking pathetically inept at their job he wanted to just slaughter them and force a tyrannical take over, though a situation of such extreme has not been presented yet, so should he ever feel the need he'll do something about it.

The Swarm didn't have a particularly good reception when they introduced themselves to the Galaxy, many screamed out the word Rachni, Menma didn't really see the similarities, Rachni had one shape, terribly boring, Zerg came in all shapes and sizes, he got the feeling Vergo would be terribly offended at being compared to such a plain race, he was of the same mind.

"Put any kind of society with something that looks even a little like something else and they'll immediately liken the two. I find it ridiculous, we came seeking no great war but it might just be what we get…We should probably prepare some backup. Powerful as we are, Orbital Bombardment isn't something we can defend against as of yet." Commented Kurama.

"Agreed. Well, unless we are present, we can't." Said Revan, referring to their ability to coat massive areas in nigh impenetrable shields of the Force and Psi.

'I'll play around with some tech, create a shield generator, of perhaps a 'Slingshot Barrier' ya'know, throw what the hit us with back at them?' Thought Menma, Revan's hum of accent told him it could very well be done.

"I'll play around with the idea…Draw up some schematics we'll see what we can accomplish." Revan's third of the connection died away; Kurama stayed silent but remained watching through Menma's eyes.

"…What are you doing here, Saren?" Asked Nihlus, Menma could smell the foul-play at work here.

"The Council thought you could use some help on this." Answered the metallic Turian, "So here I am to lend you a talon."

"Well…I'll take your help, the Geth…The humans have been slaughtered en mass. It's bad." Said Nihlus gravely, he held no ill will towards Humanity; he found them quite interesting in fact. A dark look crossed Saren's eyes as Nihlus turned around, taking in the area.

Menma's eyes narrowed as Saren pulled out a Canifex handgun, "Don't worry, I've got everything covered." A small tug upon the Force halted the 'bullet' in its chamber, but the sound fired off, and Nihlus fell forward from a Force Trick that knocked him out.

Saren grimaced, none the wiser and went on his way, "Kill anything that moves." Ordered the metallic Turian to a nearby Geth, it spluttered out some hyper-fast techno garble and nodded, Menma waited for him to leave the area, via Cargo train further into the colony.

Menma leapt from his cover his wings flaring, the terror in the eyes of Powel's eyes almost amused him, "Fire Style: Burning Rain." Uttered the Overmind, from his shoulders shot a plethora of spines that lit up in a blaze, as did his eyes incidentally, the superheated armour-piercing spikes tore through the Geth like butter, he landed next to Nihlus and grabbed the unconscious Turian, flipping back and landing behind the crates next to Powel he locked his burning eyes with the man.

"Sit boy. Keep the Turian hidden." Ordered the Overmind, Powel nodded, almost wetting himself as Menma dove back over the crates, his Psi-blade igniting a flurry of bullets began to rain upon him from incoming Geth, and he smirked re-enforcements were the best kind of fun. The bullets peppered against his carapace harmlessly.

"Oh you silly little scrap piles." He scolded playfully, flashing forward, a blur of movement only appearing completely at the end of each strike, the first he was crouching, the second was mid-air reaching upwards, the third he landed upon a Prime's shoulders with his blade buried through the 'head' and into the chest, "I fuck'a yo brain!" Announced the Overmind joyously.

"We interrupting something?" Asked a feminine voice.

Menma slid off the Prime and came face to helmet with a certain redhead human, her assault rifle aimed firmly at his head, along with another woman and a man, whom flared with Biotic power. "Why are you wearing pink..?" Asked Menma tilting his head at the second woman.

End.

Yeah. Finally got it out. Sue me.

Raxychaz!
