Hello everybody! Happy 4th, both those American and everyone else! Hope you enjoy this newest chapter, and I promise you there is lots of action to be had here!
Bronze Tiger was well-known as a fighter. What most didn't know was that he was also a tracker. He didn't just fight like a tiger, he also had the tracking abilities of one, namely the gift of enhanced scent. He hated to admit it, but that Superboy had gotten the better of him earlier when he ambushed the team. Still, he managed to get the Queen's scent and commit it to memory. He could still smell her amidst the embers and other scents that swept through the palace. Breaking down a door, the scent of Perdita got stronger. Taking some deep breathes, he pinpointed its origin…and saw some heavily wooden doors. He caught another smell. Taking a whiff, he inhaled…and recognized it as that weird orange kid. He smirked. One defenseless girl, and a boy he handedly bested in combat earlier, despite his unusual tricks. "Ain't nowhere to hide, girly…" He ripped the door open…and suddenly it exploded in his face.
As he fell flat on his back, Naruto grabbed Perdita by the wrist and dragged her out. "Well, that was a bit premature! Come on!"
As they ran down the hall, Perdita asked "What was that?" Earlier, Naruto had placed several red discs on the doors.
"I got them from Robin. They're…Boorerangs? Rangs?" He just shrugged. "Whatever. Point is, they can explode!"
"How many more of those do you have?" the queen asked.
Naruto was silent for a moment. "…that was all I had. I usually have shuriken on me, but I had to turn those in at the time."
"So what now?"
Naruto only gulped. "I don't know…"
Deathstroke followed the path, only to find Bronze Tiger flat on his back amidst some rubble. "You idiot, you let them escape!"
"Aw, shut it!" Bronze Tiger growled as he finally managed to stand straight. "They haven't gotten far; I can track them no problem!"
"Lead the way then. The Queen is yours, but I need the boy alive!" the armored assassin warned him.
"No promises!" Bronze said as he sprinted forward. Deathstroke sighed as he quickly caught up with him.
"Ugh!" Superboy felt himself planted into the wall by a well-placed punch by one of the ogres. It hurt, but it wasn't devastating; that wasn't the problem. He went through worse. The problem was that the ogres were enough to hold him down, stopping him from helping everyone else. As one grabbed him by the neck, Superboy noticed Tauya was doing nothing but playing her flute the entire time. That's when he had a realization. Quickly, he kicked the oni's wrist. Turned out they DID feel pain as it loosened its grip, if only slightly. "Get the flute!" he shouted. "She's using it to control them!"
An exploding arrow from the left nailed that same oni in the face, causing it to stumble away. That was enough for Superboy to break the hold of the others as he forced one down and lifted another one up by the arm. Quickly, he threw it at Tauya. "Uh-oh." Tauya dived out of the way as the ogre crashed through the wall. Pulling her lips away from the flute caused the other oni to freeze up, like toy robots cut off from their power.
Tauya quickly tried to bring the flute back to her lips. "Oh no you don't!" Artemis swung her bow to push it down, and then forced the kunoichi to parry her strikes. Artemis made a few grabs for the instrument, but she was too quick for her. "A little help here!" Artemis said as she kicked her away.
"On it!" Tauya felt her flute being pulled away from her as she desperately tried to hold onto it, Miss Martian levitating from behind and using her arm to guide it. Jirobo suddenly tackled her out of the air and beat her down to the floor, forcing her to release her telekinetic hold on her.
As Jirobo was about to land a big blow, Aqualad wrapped him in a headlock and electrocuted him. "AHH!" Jirobo slammed him into the wall, but Aqualad countered with a water hammer, knocking him back. Meanwhile, Artemis knocked Tauya down with a punch arrow, but the kunoichi rolled with it, triumphantly holding up her flute. Quickly, she played her flute again. The oni came alive once more, running after the team.
"Dleihs em!" Zatanna put up a magic bubble that shielded her as one tried to smash her. Aqualad jumped into the air as he impaled it with a water blade. It's partner quickly pried him off, but Superboy was upon it and punched it across the face, HARD. It fell over and destroyed the doorway to where they saw Naruto and the others run off to, revealing Robin and the others about to be killed by the remaining Sound Four. Zatanna's eyes widened at the sight, and she quickly acted. Seeing the books and pages lying around, she spread out her arms. "Tucrepap!"
The pages magically flew out of their books and separated into several pieces. Then, they suddenly hardened and zoomed around the air like humming birds, cutting everything in their path. "AGH!" Tauya and Jirobo shielded themselves, protecting their eyes but leaving their arms to be cut into ribbons.
Kidomaru and the twins did the same. What they didn't see was the paper blades had also cut Robin's restraints. Wasting no time, Robin slammed a gas bomb onto the floor, doubling his foes' inconvenience. Robin jumped up to his hands as he kicked Kidomaru away, threw a birdarang into Sakon's face, and finally, picking up a discarded kali stick, jumped up and smacked Ukon across the face as he was about to finish Sakura. Grabbing her up by the arm, he then reached for Sasuke. "Quick! Up!" Groggily, the two got to their feet as they followed him out.
The other ninja recovered, and were about to attack, but Artemis was right on top of them, as she fired a foam arrow in the middle of them. The foam exploded out and encased them. "WHAT IS THIS!?" Kidomaru screamed.
Tauya and Jirobo were about to ambush them, but Superboy and Aqualad were on it, slamming the floor. The floor splintered, and the two ninja fell down to the first floor. Kidomaru snarled. He saw at least one hand was free; good thing they all decided to take precautions. Quickly, he made his one-handed signs. "Another time then!" He completed the jutsu, and he and his comrades flickered away.
"They're gone!" Sakura yelled.
"They're not the priority." Aqualad reminded her. "We've got to get to Naruto and the Queen!"
Suddenly, a volley of arrows and bullets assaulted them. It seemed Merlyn and Deadshot came back from wherever they were hiding! Superboy did his best to shield his comrades, but they couldn't stay like this. "Well, that's another problem!" Artemis shouted.
"We've got to keep moving!" Aqualad shouted. "Stay low!" he warned everyone as Superboy was the human (Kryptonian?) shield for the Team.

The rogues, when they got their act together, were a formidable force. This was one of those nights. The criminals prepared a trap for Flash and his sidekick, and for a while, it looked pretty bad for both. However, thanks to some quick thinking and the expertise the two flashes had in science, they ultimately triumphed, even if it took them until nearly 4 in the morning to wrap it up. Flash was finishing handcuffing the Trickster to a street lamp. "That's all of them?" Kid Flash asked as he zip-tied Captain Boomerang's limbs together, the Australian grinding his teeth so hard the hero thought he would shatter them.
"That's all of them." Flash confirmed. "Go visit your folks, they must be-"The Flash turned around, seeing Wally had already departed. He caught a glimpse of him over the horizon, but something was off: Wally's house was in the opposite direction. "Where's he going?"
Kid Flash didn't want to admit it, but Perdita had been on his mind the whole time. That may have been why he and his mentor got captured so easily in the first place. Kid Flash knew the only thing to do now was to confirm his worst fears, and hope for the best. "Hang on, Perdita. I'm coming."
Kid Flash was travelling a few hundred miles an hour, allowing him to radio the nearest Zeta tube to open up just before he got there. "Kid Flash. B-02. Access granted." The closest Zeta tube endpoint was in Holland, about 500 miles from Vlativa. But it would have to do. Kid Flash entered, disappearing into the light.
Naruto kicked a window open, observing the borders of the palace. It seemed the local police had erected a barricade across the palace walls. "Why aren't they coming in!?" Naruto yelled.
Perdita looked down, and had to hold in the urge to vomit. "I…I think that's why." Perdita pointed towards the courtyard, and there Naruto found the bodies of several officers.
Some were blown apart, others had arrows in their bodies. It seems none of the assassins did not want to be interrupted. "They're afraid…" Naruto growled and pulled on her wrist. "Come on!"
Quickly, they scaled the roof. "We're sitting ducks out here!" Perdita cried.
"Huh?" Naruto questioned. He briefly imagined himself and Perdita as ducks.
"It means we're vulnerable! Everyone can see us!" she shouted.
"Oh. Why didn't you just say so!?" Naruto looked around. "We'll get back in another way, hopefully throw them off." Suddenly, a dark hand exploded from under the roof. "HOLEE-!"
Bronze Tiger popped his head out of the tiles, making his way up onto the roof. Seeing the two, he stared intently at Naruto. "I'd offer you the chance to walk away, but that little prank you pulled really PISSED ME OFF."
"More than usual?" Naruto gulped.
BT ran forward and slapped Naruto away. He had a clear shot at Perdita, grabbing her by the head. "Sorry." Bronze Tiger cocked his clawed hand back as he prepared to tear her face off.
"Gotcha." Perdita suddenly said, as she erupted into a poof of smoke and revealed another Kage Bushin of Naruto.
"The hell!?"
"Uzumaki Rendan!" What seemed to be a hundred Naruto clones suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and pummeled Bronze Tiger. Even an expert martial artist like himself couldn't counter that many at once, causing him to fall over and roll down across the roof.
He grabbed hold of the edge, digging his claws in and helped himself back up. Seeing the real Naruto and Perdita run farther down the roof, he sprinted towards him. Naruto tried to create more as he put his fingers together, but Tiger was upon him as he grabbed hold of the genin and pulled him in for a knee. "I can tell you're the real deal. Your scent is stronger." He growled.
"NO!" Perdita rushed forward and bit the assassin on the leg.
"AGH!" Bronze Tiger pushed her off and pinned her under his foot. "Guess I'll just finish you now."
"There's one thing you're forgetting." Naruto smirked. "I still have a few more clones out here."
Indeed, a duplicate jumped from behind him and ran towards Bronze Tiger while he had his back turned. "Taijutsu special move, Uzumaki Naruto Style! One Thousand Years of Death!" The said clone then jammed a kunai where the sun didn't shine.
"AHHH!" Bronze Tiger screamed. The pain was intense enough for him to take his foot off Perdita. Quickly, the blond ninja sweep kicked him off his feet, causing him to fall over. Of all the ways Bronze Tiger was hurt over the years…he would rather get kicked in the groin than go through one of THOSE again. Still, he was trained to push pain in the back of his mind as he forced himself up and kicked Naruto down. "You little prick!" he wheezed.
In an instant, he furiously attacked the blond with a flurry of punches. "Oof!" Naruto had taken similar hits, but he never had to take them consecutively at once. It got especially serious when Naruto felt a rib break. "Ugh!" Still not satisfied, the assassin kicked Naruto across the body and caused him to roll off the slanted roof.
"Naruto!" Perdita cried. Naruto managed to grab hold of the edge, holding on by one hand…
The Team made their way closer, where they saw Naruto hanging by the edge from the other side. "Naruto!" Sakura shouted.
"Hang on, I'll get him!" Superboy said as he got ready to jump. Suddenly, an RPG collided with him, sending him flying through the wall, and throwing the rest of the team down and stunning them.
Sasuke felt his ears ring and his vision blur as he tried to get his bearings straight. Sasuke focused, and saw Deadshot raise his weapon again from the other side. "No…" Sasuke forced himself up as he ran towards him.
Deadshot sneered under his mask. "Well, if you want to run into your death, I'm more than happy to help you…"
Sasuke quickly made his signs as the black markings of the curse mark ran across his body. "Hosenka no Jutsu!" Sasuke fired several small fireballs from his mouth.
Deadshot used his gauntlet guns to shoot the fireballs, only for the birdarangs to emerge from their protective flame blankets. "Wha-?" One landed on his gauntlet, and began to electrocute him. "AHH!" Quickly, Deadshot threw it away before it paralyzed him completely. Down to one set, he quickly used it to destroy the other birdarangs.
"You're good…" Sasuke said dangerously. "…but only at far-range!" Sasuke was in his face, surprising the marksmen that he got so close. Deadshot quickly tried to kick him away, but Sasuke lifted himself off the older man's leg and kicked him in the head. Had he not been wearing the helmet, Deadshot had a feeling he would have been knocked out. Deadshot reached for his side arm, firing blindly at the ninja. It grazed Sasuke's thigh, but despite the immense pain, Sasuke rolled with it to avoid being crippled. He attacked with a flying side, but Deadshot was ready this time, ducking and shooting back.
Sasuke, now aware of the power of the gun, activated his sharingan as he quickly traced the paths of the bullets. Though he could see the objects in question, he still had to push his body to the uppermost limit to avoid them. "These weapons! These…firearms! They're unlike anything else we were trained for!" he thought as he remembered the crash course he and his teammates were given. Though he took mental notes on the basic mechanics, seeing its power for himself was another matter altogether.
Sasuke suddenly rolled under a bullet, dodging by the skin of his teeth; the bullet still shot off small strands of hair. He jumped up close range to Deadshot, and jumped to his height, hitting him with a heel hand and kicking him up in the chin. "You shouldn't have gotten close!" Deadshot got his sidearm right into Sasuke's side and fired. Though Sasuke kicked himself off his arm and avoided having his left side explode completely, it felt like his body was on fire!
Sakura forced herself up. Artemis got up as well, though just barely. Robin was still out of it, and the fiery explosion had sufficiently shocked Miss Martian and Aqualad. Superboy staggered to stand up, having taken the full force of the impact. Before anymore could be said, Artemis caught an arrow through the arm. "AH!"
"ARTEMIS!" Sakura screamed.
"Hold on!" Superboy rushed towards her, but an arrow landed between his feet and exploded, causing him to fall down to the first floor.
Merlyn quickly fired another, as a chemical foam similar to what the other Arrows used sealed the hole and encased Superboy. "I'm not very fond of using trick arrows, but in the case of that boy, I made an exception!" he said as he cocked back a normal arrow. "I'll have a few minutes, I imagine, before he can break out. I think I'll finish the others while I have the chance!"
Sakura's eyes narrowed. The Team was down, and her two teammates were occupied…it reminded her of her time in the forest of death, when Naruto and Sasuke were incapacitated, and all they had to protect them…was her! "It's all up to me!" she realized. "I'm the only one standing between death and my friends!"
Sakura quickly threw a birdarang at Merlyn, but he shot it down with an arrow immediately. "Nice try, but you're nowhere near my level." Merlyn picked out another arrow and fired at Sakura. It seemed to impale her straight through the stomach…and in a puff of smoke, she turned into a chair. Merlyn's eyes widened. To his side, another birdarang landed near his feet. Knowing the nature of the devices, Merlyn rolled away as it blew up. Merlyn drew another arrow as he scanned his immediate sight. "Where are you?"
"Don't worry, I'll finish you soon enough!" Bronze Tiger called to Naruto. He then eyed Perdita. "I've got a job to finish first!"
"No!" Naruto called. He had a few ideas of what to do, but none of them allowed him to make it in time.
Bronze Tiger leaped towards Perdita, claws drawn. It seemed to be curtains for her…and Bronze Tiger's fingers went through the roof, no sign of the Queen under him. "Wha-?" Bronze Tiger turned to see Kid Flash across the roof, with Perdita in his arms.
"Whew. Nick of time, as usual." KF panted.
"You came!" Perdita exclaimed in joy, hugging him. Kid Flash suddenly collapsed on his knees. "Kid Flash! What's wrong!?"
"Ugh, I've had a long day, your highness…" Kid Flash groaned. "Used up all my snacks. Took everything I had to make it from Amsterdam to here."
"Out of steam already?" Bronze Tiger grinned. He flexed his fingers. "Works for me."
"It bought me all the time I need!" Naruto shouted. He let go of the ledge as he put his fingers together. "Kage Bushin no Jutsu!" Another Naruto grabbed onto the ledge, as another grabbed his leg and two others did the same. They swung in an arc as the real Naruto barely missed scraping his head against the pavement below, and swung him up into the air.
Reaching for his last Birdarang, he threw it right into Bronze Tiger's face. "AGH!"
Quickly, Naruto created another bushin behind him that launched him faster towards his target. The extra speed was enough to send Naruto's punch right into the nose, causing the larger man to stumble. Naruto didn't let up, leaping into the air and pushing him back with numerous kicks. Once he was pushed back to the edge, Naruto flipped away in an unusual display of agility and once again sweep kicked him. With nothing to break his fall, Bronze Tiger fell to the concrete floor two stories below. Naruto stood up and breathed. The fall wasn't enough to kill or cripple him, but it was clear Bronze Tiger was out of the fight. After a deep breath, Naruto puffed his chest and shouted "Serves you right! That's what you get for picking a fight with Konoha's number one ninja!" he smiled, pointing at himself.
Sasuke quickly put pressure on his wound as he took cover behind the hedges. He had only precious seconds to come up with a temporary fix. Quickly, he tore off his hiate and wrapped the metal band around his wound. Sasuke wheezed; even a graze from those weapons were deadly. Deadshot jumped above the hedges and pointed his gun at Sasuke. "End of the line, kiddo." He fired at him point blank…and Sasuke turned into a garden gnome. "Wha-!?"
Sasuke leaped from out of the corner, brandishing a piece of sharp brick in place of a kunai. Deadshot fired again, and once again, his target turned out to be brick. "WHERE ARE YOU!?" Deadshot fired as he detected different disturbances. He didn't see Sasuke carefully lasso wires around his person, making sure to keep them loose so he wouldn't feel them.
By the time Deadshot reloaded his weapon, he sensed Sasuke behind him and aimed his weapon accordingly. Looking at him, he noticed the kid was looking rather exhausted as he stood atop the boulder. "Guessing you're the real one." He stared a moment longer. "Makes sense; you might have the will to fight off the pain, but no one can withstand major blood loss. I'd give you a chance to rest if I was a nice guy…" Lawton then slowly began to press the trigger. "…unfortunately for you, I'm not a nice guy."
Sasuke sneered. "Neither am I for that matter." Sasuke suddenly fell back on the boulder.
The wires then tensed, ensnaring Deadshot's body. "Wha-!?" Deadshot found he couldn't move as his arms were pinned to his body.
Sasuke didn't waste his chance. "Katon! Ryukaa no Jutsu!" Sasuke breathed fire onto the wires, and the flames traveled quickly on the wires, hitting Deadshot dead center.
"AHHH!" Sasuke watched; the flames died down quick, and unfortunately, it seemed Deadshot's suit was somewhat fire-proof. Thankfully, it was clear the heat affected him detrimentally, only sparring him from death and any permanent damage. The assassin broke out of the trap, and stumbled away from the castle. Finally, Sasuke let the wires go, and collapsed on the grass.
Merlyn somersaulted out of the way as another birdarang landed on a broken table. It exploded and reduced the table to mere splinters. Merlyn took a quick second to feel the weight on his quiver; about six arrows left. He only needed one for the Queen, but he couldn't afford to get too trigger-happy. He had to finish this quickly. "You're a sly one, I'll give you that." Carefully, he jogged down the hall. "But you can't keep this up forever; I imagine you had less of those toys than I did arrows coming here."
Above him, the miraculously intact chandelier shook slightly. Sakura, situated on top, peered over the edge. "And when you run out, you'll have to confront me physically. I warn you, though archery is my specialty, I'm quite capable without my arrows, if I do say so myself. So, what's it going to be?" Silence. Sakura wouldn't take his bait. She just had to hold him off until Superboy managed to break out of that goop he was sprayed with; she could see the cracks in that mess beginning to form as the mass kept undulating. Merlyn, seeing just taunting the girl wouldn't do, peered out the window. "Much as I would like to skewer you for riling me up…I've a job to do." He pulled back his arrow out the window.
Looking at the corner of her eye, Sakura saw the glass was broken. He had a clear shot for the Queen! "NO!" Sakura jumped off the chandelier, and realized too late that window was pointed nowhere near where they had saw Naruto and the Queen. He was bluffing!
"Gotcha." Merlyn released his arrow.
Though Sakura twisted in mid-air, the arrow still went through her side. "AH!" Sakura collapsed on the floor. She couldn't be sure with the immense pain she was feeling…but at least it seemed no vital organs were hit. Even so, in spite of her training, she never once suffered a stab wound. Sakura felt her strength leave her. "I've got nothing left…"
Merlyn walked over, and grabbed her by the cuff as he lifted her up. "No fun shooting a downed target…." He pulled a knife from his side. "At this point, I'm okay with getting in close and personal." Sakura coughed blood, and used her last ounce of strength to unleash her new secret weapon: a can of mace. It was a gift from Artemis, apparently a useful tool for women's self-defense in this world. Quickly, she sprayed it in his eyes. "AHHH!" Merlyn dropped her and clutched his eyes. Sakura felt her world fading, but she wasn't through just yet. Quickly, she activated her last birdarang. She tossed it towards Merlyn as the projectile began to beep. Merlyn stepped on it, and immediately felt a strong electric current hit him. He shook violently, and fell over on the floor.
Finally, Superboy burst out of the hardened chemicals. Looking around, he found M'gann, still unconcious. "M'gann!"
He ran over to her, and lightly slapped her over the cheek. "Wha-!?" the Martian reacted.
"M'gann, we need to do make sure everyone's okay." The Martian nodded as she shakily levitated into the air.
"I'm less than fine, but alive." Artemis groaned, raising her good arm.
Aqualad, Zatanna, and Robin finally came to. Looking around, Robin's eyes widened. "Sakura!" Robin ran over to her prone form.
Aqualad quickly attended to Artemis as he snapped her arrow off and tied a bandage he had stored around her arm. "Superboy, Miss Martian. Find Sasuke. Make sure he's safe." The two aliens nodded as they flew out the hole Deadshot made earlier. "Zatanna, press this bandage onto Artemis' arm." He ordered the magician. Zatanna nodded as she got to work. Aqualad then helped Robin inspect Sakura as they checked her vital signs. "I think she'll be fine. But we need to remove the arrow." The Atlantean stated the obvious
Robin nodded as he unfastened his cape. "Break off the arrow head." Aqualad tilted Sakura to the side as he snapped the metal off.
Robin then pulled the shaft out. The sensation shocked Sakura awake. "AIIE!"
"Sh, sh, it's okay!" Robin assured her as he wrapped his cape around her body and pressed it down. "You're alright!" Sakura calmed down as she struggled to calm her breathing.
Robin then smiled. "You know you won, right?"
Sakura's eyes widened slightly. "I…I won?"
Robin lifted her head so she could see Aqualad handcuff an unconscious Merlyn.
Sakura smiled slightly. "Some…win…"
"Hold on." Robin said as he got something out of his utility belt. A flat, circular object began to glow orange in his hand. "We need to cauterize the wound. This is going to hurt. A LOT."
Sakura nodded faintly. Cautiously, Robin removed his cape and lifted her blouse. Quickly, he pressed it against the wound. "AAAHHH!"
Robin quickly pulled the object back. "Other side." Aqualad came back to roll her over, and Robin pressed it on the other side. Aqualad, hardy as he was, allowed her to bite down on his arm. "Okay. The wounds are sealed, but we still need to do something about the blood loss…"
"We'll figure that out in time." Aqualad said. "I don't think she's in any immediate danger at the moment."
"We found Sasuke." Miss Martian came in, carrying Sasuke with her mind as Superboy followed behind her. "He's seriously hurt too."
"We have to get them and Artemis back to the bioship immediately." Aqualad ordered.
"Why take them there…when she can come to us?" Miss Martian smirked. Her ship responded as it hovered over the hall. Superboy tore the roof out, showing the ship's hull opened up. Miss Martian then picked up Sakura with her telekinesis to lift them both into her ship, but stopped in mid-air. "Ah!"
"Miss Martian, what's wrong!?" Superboy shouted. Suddenly, it came into view: a purple barrier.
The Team looked around. The force field didn't block them from just above, but from all sides too. "Force field! Just like at Happy Harbor High!" Aqualad exclaimed.
"I don't think so." Zatanna said. "That last one was magic. I'm not sensing any with this one."
Superboy looked around with his super senses, and saw some familiar faces sitting at the corners of the hall. "It's those guys again. They're using their chakra to keep us here!"
"They're going after the Queen!" Artemis exclaimed.
"No, I don't think so." Aqualad said. "I've a hunch this barrier is dependent on them staying still. What's more, we took out all the assassins after her. Those four were there to hinder us, but it is clear none of them were after the Queen."
"Then why?" Miss Martian asked.
Naruto removed his hiate for a moment to wipe his forehead. He then walked towards Kid Flash and Perdita. "Thanks for the save!" he said, giving him a thumbs up.
"Hey, don't thank me." Kid Flash said as he forced himself up on wobbly knees. "I just got her out of the way for a quick second. You and the others…" he grinned at Naruto. "You and the others are the real heroes today." He huffed.
Naruto chuckled as he fastened his headband back on. "That means a lot, coming from you."
Kid Flash looked around, and saw the barrier around the hall. "Looks like we're not done yet." Kid Flash said.
Naruto turned around, seeing the same thing. "Damn!" He was about to create more clones, when a bullet suddenly landed near his foot. "Ah!" Naruto jumped.
Kid Flash turned around to see bolos fly towards him, too close to dodge by the time he spotted them. They entangled him, and the electricity flowed through him. "AHGH!" Kid Flash fell onto the roof and began to roll down
"Kid Flash!" Perdita ran towards him and grabbed hold of his suit before he fell off the roof. She managed to hold on to him, but she didn't have enough strength to pull him up.
Naruto ran to help, but Deathstroke suddenly landed in front of him. "Apologies, but you and I have some business." He told him.
Naruto froze up; the way this man carried himself reminded him of those Akatsuki foes. "What kind of business?"
Deathstroke simply began to pull his sword from out of his sheath. "Your blood."
