AN:/ Hi guys! I hope your enjoying this story! I know that chapters are short and I'm sorry about that but again this is my first chaptered story sooo yeah! But please read and review ILY all! J

3rd POV

As Alec walked down the street he was smiling. He couldn't be happier to be back with Magnus. They were closer than ever and even though it had only been a day he knew that they would last for a long time.

Alec knew he was in for it when he got back to the institute but he honestly couldn't care less. Alec was finally happy after 3 week of constant heartache.

Once Alec got to the institute he opened the door and took his time walking to and going up the elevator. He really didn't want to be yelled at but he knew he wasn't going to let Jace smash Magnus. As soon as the doors opened he was greeted by Izzy.

"Alec! You had us worried sick! Well actually you had Jace worried sick…I'm si glad you and Magnus made up! Did you guys have sex? Was it hot?"

"IZZY!"

"Sorry! I was just curious…" Izzy said smiling at him. They both laughed and Izzy dragged Alec down to the library for a chat. Apparently Jace had gone hunting a few hours ago when Alec hadn't shown up and was taking a shower now, which relieved Alec greatly.

Alec and Izzy sat down on the couch. Izzy was beaming at him and Alec laughed.

"What?" Alec asked still smiling.

"You're glowing." Izzy said with a knowing smile. Alec blushed and looked down but couldn't help smiling even wider.

"You're so happy. I can see it" Izzy said. "Your eyes are shining, you're glowing, and you kept stop smiling. It's adorable." Alec blushed and looked down at his hands playing with them.

"I missed him so much… he's my everything. I love him more than I have ever loved anyone. Granted that he is my first boyfriend, or girlfriend for that matter." Alec laughed and looked up at Izzy. "I love him." Alec said looking Izzy in the eyes.

"I can tell. I'm so happy for you Alec." Izzy said leaning over and hugging Alec.

"Thank you" Alec said hugging back.

"Well look who finally decided to show up." Jace said leaning against the library door frame.

Alec and Izzy pulled away from each other and both of them sighed.

"Izzy can you give us a minute?" Alec asked. Izzy nodded and left the library brushing past Jace on the way out. Jace walked into the room completely and shut the door behind him.

"What the fuck are you thinking?" Jace said anger clearly in his eyes as he stomped down the few stairs to where Alec was.

"Are you fucking mental? He hurt you Alec!"

"I know that." Alec said keeping his voice calm.

"Then explain to me what the hell you're doing!"

"Jace, I understand that you're trying to look out for me but I know what I'm doing."

"And what is it that you're doing exactly?" Jace said through gritted teeth.

"Making myself happy for once. I'm being selfish and thinking about what I want and need." Alec said staring Jace in the eyes. Jace's face softened a bit.

"I'm sorry, Alec. I didn't mean it like that. I'm just…" Jace sighed and sat down. "I' worried about you ok? I'm your brother. Your parabatai. I don't want him hurting you anymore." Jace said pleading for Alec to understand. Alec shook his head he was so frustrated with Jace.

"You have to get this through your head. I'm in love with him. I will always be in love with him. You can't just make me stop that."

"He cheated on you Alec! He obviously doesn't care about you enough to keep his hands off other guys when you're away for a while! I bet he doesn't even love you!" Jace yelled. Alec took a step back. Jace's words cut through him like a knife. The hurt must have been clear on Alec's face because Jace's face softened and a look of regret.

"Alec I didn't mean..." Jace started but Alec cut him off.

"I can't believe you just said that. He loves me Jace, maybe that's hard for you to believe but I don't give a flying fuck what you think! How dare you say he doesn't love me! How dare you say he doesn't care about me!"

"Alec…" Jace tried again

"You know what, that guy he cheated on me with was a part of the fae! He used a spell on him to get into his pants!"

"Alec just let me…"

"No! I can't believe you can't see how much I love him! How much he loves me! You're the selfish one here Jace not me! Train by yourself." Alec began to leave the room.

"Alec!" Jace called.

"NO! Just leave me the fuck alone!" With that Alec left the library, storming out of the institute. He'd talk to Izzy later, of now he just wanted to be back in Magnus's arms.
