Demon and Angel.
AN: I don't expect year two to take more than two or three more chapters including this one. Flopheart is dead, the diary is gone, and the last Horcrux is nowhere near Hogwarts so basilisk is still snoozing.
Author tip: in English, unless there's a specific reason for it, new speaker/thinker/point of view, new paragraph. It annoys me that otherwise decent fics are harder to read because people don't follow this rule, and when you try and point it out, they say it's their 'style'.
AN2: there will be mentions of experimentation with Harry's fem form and the girls, but I do not do explicit sex scenes. I figure he'd be at least curious. And won't happen for 'years'.
AN3: I did NOT mean for Ginny to be a big part of this chap, but it happened.
Chapter 14: Year 2 to start of Christmas break.
Lucius Malfoy was confused, and afraid in equal measure at the report from his son.
His confusion stemmed from two parts.
First that Harry was capable of killing when provoked, this was also the cause of his fear. He would have expected the boy to swallow Dumbledore's no killing philosophy whole, and not take the 'offended beyond belief' pureblood route of killing the offender.
The second part that confused and frightened him, was the sheer effortlessness that Harry had been able to almost vaporize a man with a two-word spell, in English. It was, in his opinion, something that his lord would have trouble with.
Yes, the man knew feindfire, but that spell was hard to control, and wasn't nearly as useful as the spell the boy used, if only because it couldn't hit just one target.
He would have to tell his son to be careful around Harry, not that he thought his son would listen his son seemed to have more guts than sense.
Taking some parchment, he started writing, both to give his son's orders, and to demand why the hell Dumbledore had hired such an obvious fraud, well obvious to anyone that had half a brain.
If his first plan didn't work, he might as well deal some damage to the headmaster's reputation.

The remaining time until Christmas passed quickly. Most of the students were avoiding Harry for quite a few reasons.
These reasons varied from fear (almost everybody had some of this), Loathing (the majority of the female populace), wary respect (Snape and some of the students), or simply because they had no idea how to deal with what Harry was capable of.
There were some exceptions.
Ginny kept trying to get close, apparently thinking that Harry defending his fiancee's, and didn't that piss her off, honor by killing the offender would chase them off, because they wouldn't want to be close to a murderer.
She was waiting patiently for Harry to be left alone so that she could confess her feelings to him after she had realized that being shy wouldn't get her what she wanted.
The problem with her plans was primarily one thing.
Harry was never without the girls. Never. She had also written her mother for advice, and the only advice she had gotten was to wait until they were older and then hit him with a love potion to make him realize his emotions for her. The problem was that the longer she waits the longer that those 'hussies' have to get their claws into him.
It would also make it exceedingly obvious, if he suddenly ditched two girls for her, and open up a can of worms, along with possible legal problems that she did not want to deal with. Her mother thinks that the potion would just let him 'realize' his feelings for her. Her mother had one time vented that she was unable to, with the headmaster's help, create a marriage contract between her and Harry, because Dumbledore didn't have the authority.
Even at her age, she could see that would be a lie.
Her stalking found Harry sandwiched between the two in an empty classroom studying, as they sometimes did to get out of their room. She sighed annoyed and decided that she would have to deal with the unwanted presence of the two females. She decided to gather her courage and make her move.
Walking into the room she took a deep breath to calm her nerves, and said, "Harry?"
Without looking up from his pre-calculus homework, he responded, "Yes?"
The girl was irritated at being virtually ignored, and snapped, "Look at me!"
"Why? And Umbra, can you help me with this problem?" came the absent-minded response.
The young girl gritted her teeth at the fact that he was more concerned with his homework than looking at her. She wanted to tear the add parchment away from him but knew that would make things worse. She decided to retreat for the day and try again when he wasn't busy. Besides her courage was giving out.
Harry was confused at why she wanted to speak to him, and why she didn't continue but shrugged it off. He had something more important to do, namely getting his homework done like a good delinquent. He found that getting it done when it was assigned left him more time to goof off.

A week later found Harry's eye twitching. He was being followed... again. Since the start of the year almost he had felt it on and off, but now it was multiple times a day, and it was both the same person, and getting very annoying. Looking at the two with him, he saw that they were just as irritated.
"Alright, whoever is following us... again, either come out or stop stalking me!"
Ginny froze, she didn't realize that Harry had known that she was stalking him. Taking a breath she stepped out from behind a corner.
"Now what do you want? And why have you been stalking me since the beginning of the year?" growled an irritated Harry.
The girl was slightly taken aback at the hostility but decided to forge on.
"Harry, I wanted to ask whether you would mind spending some time with me... alone," she asked, not quite for a date, but close so that she could get close to him. At least if she was seen being close to him in solo situations, if her mother went ahead with her plans to potion the Potter heir, a precedent would be established, and as distasteful as the idea would be to her, she might be able to join in the relationship with the rest of them.
She was firmly straight and hated to share, but if it meant that she could get close to Harry, she would at least bend on the sharing if she couldn't get Harry to reject those scarlet women.
She paused in her thoughts and frowned. If she needed to share with the two or even more distastefully possibly four, girls, if that golem-like woman and catgirl wanted to join, she needed to censor her thought least her lips slip up.
Unknown to her it was potentially five girls.
"No," came Harry's casual reply, one that he didn't add any elaboration to, as the reason why it was literally impossible. A pity, as it would have blunted the effect of his rather blunt response.
Ginny's mind stalled, and she got angry, how dare he just reject her like that, especially since she was planning on going against her own morels by sharing him!
"Why not!" she almost yelled.
"I prefer to spend my alone time with my fiancees," came the boy's response.
"And there are... other reasons, that are none of your bloody business, why he can't spend 'alone time' with you," Hikari chipped in.
Umbra rolled her eyes at the two others, but didn't contradict them... after all, they were entirely correct.
Ginny's fists clenched. Engaged. They were engaged. Probably with a bloody contract. A contract that should be hers! She had studied the Harry Potter books since she could read, memorized every single word, practiced her vows since then with her now former friend Luna playing the part of Harry, Practicing her Mrs. Potter signature, learning to cook, clean, and maintain a household with her mother so that she would be the best wife possible. Nobody, she believes, but no nobody had practiced for being the new Mrs. Potter more than her.
She had been distracted by the sudden violence to hear him the night he had killed the professor.
And all wasted because some sluts had gotten a head start, and beaten her to her hero! She wouldn't stand for it! She would get him alone and make him know how much she loved him! Her mother had said that he couldn't help to fall for her, and she had never lied to her!
Shaking with fury, she simply staked off before she said something she wouldn't regret until later. She needed advice, and her mother would send a howler.
So she decided to ask her father, with a request to not speak of it to her mother.
A howler wouldn't help... at all.

Harry rose an eyebrow at how the slightly younger girl stalked off, then shrugged. The trio had gotten a shipment of various entertainments and since his homework was done, they decided to retreat and entertain themselves.

Dumbledore was frowning. He had in his hand an engagement contract, one that is just barely on the side of legal, only because Harry himself had signed it. He thought that the fact that the boy was engaged to two girls was a good sign, as he could possibly slip a third loyal to him in so that he could influence the boy, but it was so bloody hard to insert a fourth person when the three are never far apart, and apparently can't get far apart, as evidenced by the Lockheart debacle.
He still shuddered at that one. Harry had killed, brutally, effortlessly, and without apparent guilt.
It was the third time he had done so, and the second intentionally.
The boy's image was becoming tarnished, and that couldn't be allowed.
He would have to plot his moves carefully. With even a pair of weak angels at Harry's side, along with his allies, the board has changed, and Harry might have been promoted from a 'queen piece' to a potential king, making it a three-way game, and he had no idea who's side Harry's side would side with... if any.
One thing he was sure of, for the good of the wizarding world, Harry's isolation from his peers must end.

Draco read again the letter his father sent. He was a faithful son, so he had been obeying it, but it grated on him. So Harry had killed the DADA professor, he had been allowed to cast the first spell. There was no way a half-blood second year could beat him, especially with those mudblood sluts poised to sully the once proud Potter bloodline further.
He needed an opening that his father couldn't dispute, so that when he gave the-boy-who-lived his rightful thrashing his father couldn't blame it on him.
He could be patient. He really could!
Now he had to wait until an insult was given that any proper pureblood couldn't ignore.

Hermione was pissed, as were many other females. Harry had killed their hero and gotten away with it.
Fortunately, even the densest of them knew attacking the boy would end... badly, and so they instead used the gossip network, (at least those that were interested in it) to ruin his reputation with the girls and the guys who paid attention to the network.
They painted him as a brutal heartless killer, never mind that the dead person had potioned his Fiancees.
With Harry's isolation from most of the rest of the school, the gossip was getting taken as fact more than it would otherwise be.
Hermione, on the other hand, was looking up the legality of what had happened and was disgusted with the fact that such an action was legal, assuming that what Harry and the girls had said, was what had really happened.
Even then, she believed that the man should have been arrested for attempted rape, not summarily killed.
She also simply refused to believe that a professor would do such a thing and felt the man had been framed, perhaps by Professor Snape, since he was the one that 'discovered' the potion.
The problem is she had no proof, and no method to find any, so she could do no more than sit on the sidelines and fume.
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
Time passed and people stopped walking on eggshells around Harry, as he hadn't made any aggressive moves, and Harry hoped that the issue would die over the winter break, as the train left later that morning.
It was then that Kaniz pushed open the door with her remaining arm, a mangled locket in her hand, and tears in her eyes.
She had failed. The locket wasn't there, and there was only a fake with a note. Then the inferi attacked. They came in such numbers that they had actually damaged her badly.
At least the former dark lord wouldn't have them to use if he rose again.
She moved to her master's side and locked eyes on her master and mouthed 'later'.
Harry nodded and pushed his plate away, no longer hungry after sing his android in such a condition.
Nerf was checking the room for anything left behind, so she didn't know how badly her fellow minion had been mangled.
Soon, the group was on the train to London.
They never made it there... again.

EN: I am aware I made Ginny slightly obsessed with Harry.
