Hey! It's been quite a long time, isn't it? I apologise for the wait.

I've been getting all sorts of awesome ideas for 'Sonic The Hedgehog' fanfictions but it's quite hard since I really want to finish this story first. Hopefully, you guys will get to see all my crazy ideas into fanfictions.

To say last week's party was weird is an understatement. Shadow practically swallowed my face and I, (Now) regrettably enjoyed it. I wore some slutty outfit that stripped my dignity completely. Knuckles and Rouge went skinny-dipping in the sea. And somehow, Tails recorded Silver and Blaze making out near some palm trees. Luckily, Shadow and I woke up (in the sand) and got home quickly. The rest of the gang, judging from the mess in Monkey Khan's mansion, got pretty wasted. And, seeing Blaze in a hangover in the morning is a major sight to see.

Aye, that's high school parties for you.

During form time, we were suddenly called into an assembly. Usually, assemblies were about behaviour, uniform and other minor problems.

I sat down next to Shadow.

"Good morning, King Mobius," The principal boomed across the hall.

"Good morning, Principal, good morning everyone." The student body slowly groaned.

"I would have appreciated a rather lively good morning. Oh well, scienta juvat fortis."

"Scienta juvat fortis."

"You may take a seat. I will like to discuss future events with you. You may have heard it on the news, newspapers or through social networking. Two certain people are planning on overthrowing Mobius. This has happened multiple times and according to sources this plan has a far greater risk," The principal had a disappointed look, and glanced to one direction- I was very sure it was Sonic she was looking at.

"I will make sure security is tougher. Please, make sure you are safe. You are our future generation. Heed from our past mistakes. We have got a few students who I'm sure of will do anything to protect us."

I looked down in pity. All this unnecessary shit I have been doing these past days. And I say I'll protect Mobius and Cream. For fuck sake, who am I?

"Moving on to another subject. In two weeks' time, we will be holding our annual talent show against the federation. The federation consists of Queen Mobius academy, a neighbouring girls' school, Knothole High, Mobius High and Central City High. And I am proud to say, we are hosting the event! And we are going to win this!"

There was a loud burst of applauses with a few whistles and 'whoops!' Central City High?! My old school?! Yes! I'm going to see Cream again! Yes!

"Through past discos and charity events, the federation has raised enough money to hire an entire arena! Tickets are available for two ring dollars! There are limited places in the arena for the federation so, make sure you 'em early! You can get them from your form tutor. And also, it will be held on a Friday Night at Kingdom Arena. If you want to participate, your school councillor or form tutor can provide them for you. The best act will receive V.I.P tickets for the famous rock band, 'Crush 40' concert! There will be tickets for your friends too. All schools are competing for that one prize! Second and third place will receive five hundred ring dollars in actual money. You are five minutes late to your lesson; I guess I have to dismiss you now. Have a great day, thank you."

I guess I could try…but I have no freaking idea on what I should do.

I met up with Rouge, Blaze and Sally in Geography. Good thing the talent show sparked up a conversation or we would be talking about the super embarrassing party.

"Amy, we'd be so freakin' cool if we join together! Besides, the boys are performing Uptown Funk!" Rouge gushed. I have to admit, I have never participated in a talent show due to stage fright. The idea of joining with a girl group gave me excitement…I didn't feel like singing some overrated pop song.

I frowned. I didn't want to let my friends down, but I just honestly wasn't into the idea a lot.

"I really don't feel like it. I'm sorry."

Rouge seemed taken aback. She forced a smile and cocked her head to the side, looking positive. "Oh, if you reconsider, don't hesitate to tell us. Any song suggestions?"

I had to think of a popular pop song 'sang' by females.

"Uh…'Bang Bang'?"

The girls squealed in delight. It really looks like they formed a little best friends group. I shrugged it off. After all, I've got Cream.

"Thanks Amy, for the help. Are you sure you don't want to join?" Blaze asked.

"Yeah," I nodded. "I'll be rooting for you guys."

Sally held up a sheet. "Our name is 'Eye Candy', right?" Both girls gave an awkward thumbs up.

I don't know who created that name but it sounds pretty damn obnoxious. It's probably Rouge, after all she is very egotistical. That's Rouge for ya!

After the conversation, I took notes from a Geography textbook while the teacher groaned about wasting her time.

Sit the fuck down and do your job, woman. You're still going to get money for this.

It's shocking to look back to the past and see a sweet, kind and optimistic twelve year old girl. Now, I'm doing all kinds of tomboy shit and I've got the mouth of a sailor. I've changed drastically. Sometimes, I can't help but miss the feeling of my childhood days. I'm surprised that Cream still can manage a friendship with a mess that they call a hedgehog.

"Amy." I heard a familiar black and red hedgehog. His voice was deep, but bothered…?

That's unusual. Where's that grumpy, yet amusable hedgehog that I see every day?

"Sorry, I took your first kiss."

I could my muzzle heating up and my eyes coming out of its sockets. He remembered? With a huge blush remaining on my cheeks, I turned to him. "E-Eh? How to you know that was my first kiss? Why are you apologising?"

Was I that bad?

He frowned. "You've been definitely saving it for someone else. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want your first kiss to be a guy like me…"

Yeah, my past self would definitely want it to be Sonic…

" I scoffed at the thought. "Any girl would kill to kiss a guy like you, Shadow. And, that was nice."

Shadow replied with a soft chuckle while I covered my face in embarrassment. "S-Shadow! That was on purpose, wasn't it?!"

RINNNNNG!

I decided to hide in the girls toilets to recover from my embarrassment and to call Cream. Probably around this time Cream has finished lunch and was outside reading or something…

Cream answered the phone. "Amy! You're calling me in the middle of a school day?"

I scratched the back of my neck nervously. After all, this the first time I've called Cream in school and I'm a bit paranoid.

"Y-yeah. How are you?"

"I'm okay, and you?"

"I'm fine, Cream. Have you heard of the federations' talent show?"

"Yeah. I'm participating in it with Honey. I wish you were here. We're having a blast practising!"

I felt a pang of jealousy when I heard of that. We do everything together and to hear that she's doing something with someone else just makes me sad.

"Oh. I'll be rooting for you."

"Are you not part of the talent show? I want to see you shine!" I heard her worry.

"I don't feel like it…um." I stuttered.

"C'mon," She complained. "I want you to show you are not just capable of kicking Gluteus Maximus but also slaying everyone with your voice and your talents!"

I blushed at her compliment. I'm way too lucky. You know what; I'll do it for her. "Cream, I've changed my mind. I'm going to do it for you!"

"That's my Amy! Show Sonic what's he's missing out on!"

I remained silent after that comment. I don't to get involved with him. "C-Cream…"

"O-Oh. I'm sorry, Amy."

"It's okay."

And that's when I decided to tell her about what happened in the party.

"A-Amy? You kissed Shadow?!"

"Yeah," I said, feeling my lips.

"So…are you guys a thing now?"

"Nah. I've got other priorities."

"Right. A little love doesn't hurt, does it?"

Love does hurt, Cream. Thinking about it gives me a headache.

"Honestly Cream. I want to feel loved. I don't want to be alone. You've got Silver and Blaze, Rouge and Knuckles and Sonic and Sal-"

"I understand how you feel. Shadow is for yo-"

"No, Cream. Shadow isn't the type for long term lovey dovey relationships. He likes flings."

"Oh." Was all she could say.

"And about Sonic. I'm confused. It's just that I don't want- Ugh! I don't want to see him anymore! I've wasted my energy on him! I've done anything that I can so that he can at least have some appreciation for me! He shrugs it off and goes to the princess. And now that I'm with the team it seems I can't avoid him. I don't want to go through that again…"

Cream could hear the anger and sadness in my voice and sighed loudly. "I've realised something that you haven't, Amy."

"What is it?!" I spat.

"I'll leave it to you to find out."

And just like that, she cut the call.

I angrily shoved my phone into my satchel and looked in the mirror. There were tears in the brims of my eyes.

Why am I such a crybaby?! Ugh.

I wiped them off with the sleeve of my blazer and redid my French braid.

So, what am I going to do for the talent show?

Oh…shit! I forgot about dance class!

I run upstairs to the Dance Studio. I did the dance test after school and I'm here to get my results! "I'm sorry I'm late, miss…"

The dance teacher strutted to me with a wide smile on her face. What?! I thought she would be disappointed.

"Nevermind Amy. I'm glad to tell you that you are part of the Dance Club. Your dance skills are absolutely amazing,"

I punched the air. Yes! I did it!

"You heard about the talent show today, right? Well, our dance class is going to be the opening act!"

Oh, wow! I'm going to perform, sounds cool. She's overexcited about this. "That's cool, miss."

"Indeed! We are going to dance to 'That Power' and it a combination of breakdancing, body popping and finger tutting! This is our first performance!"

So that's why she's over excited. "R-Right. Well see you miss-"

"Wait, Amy! You're the lead dancer and singer. You have to rehearse with us."

My lips formed into a 'o' and my eyes were like saucers. "E-EH?!"

"Yes, woman. Let's get to work."

I was at home, in the game room in grey sweatpants and a green tank top. Shadow was there too. "Ha, Shadow! I'm in first place! You can't defeat me now, I'm way ahead!" I sneered, gripping my Xbox-controller.

Shadow just gritted his teeth in annoyance before halting the game to get a drink from the mini fridge. "This time, I won't hold back."

Just before I was going to throw a crude remark at him, the door burst open, revealing the gang.

"Shadow and Amy packing on some PDA, eh?" Tails casually walked in.

Dammit. "No, I and Shadow were playing games. I'm tired of him, he's not challenging enough." I giggled.

"Amy, fuck off! I said I was holding back, dammit!" Shadow flipped the bird at me.

I continued giggling and threw myself on a nearby egg chair. Rouge smugly stared at Shadow. "Honestly, you two should hook up."

I immediately turned red. All it takes is a small phase to make me turn into a bottle of ketchup!

I turned to Shadow who was smirking.

Silver and Blaze chimed in: "Shadow and Amy, sitting on a tree…"

"Silver and Blaze, stop!"

But that's when Sonic jumped in. "Faker is a bad influence on Amy."

This blue bastard…

How dare he speak of Shadow like that! Sure, Shadow is a grumpy and rude, but he always made me laugh with his crude humour and showed me how to have fun! He's not a bad influence at all. How dare him…when he left me, judged me so easily…

I stood up, walking towards him angrily. "Shadow is my friend, unlike you. Sonic, shut the fuck up for once! It will benefit me greatly!"

There were mutters from Silver: "Bang! Bang! Shots fired!"

"A-Amy. I'm sick of this. All I want is to fix everything and go back to the good old days…"

"Idiot! Good old days? Constantly chasing you, praying and begging for a slight affection and appreciation! All to see you run into the princess. Yeah, those were the good old days."

"A-Amy…"

My voice got even me more menacing and deeper. My pulse rose. Fists clenched. "I've fucking got over you. I realised that I'm not the one to be with you, share the same feelings and me grateful for each other's company. That's Sally. What makes it worse is that you still have that view of my being a dumb ass, damsel in distress fangirl that begs for your attention twenty four seven. I knew you were terrified the first day. I've grown, I've matured. You don't want to accept that…and you still treat me like the little girl I was…"

"Amy…I'm sorry…now, I know you're not like that…"

Tears were slowly falling down. "Sonic…did you ever realise…that I loved you…?"

His eyes widened and extended his arm to grab me. Instead, I pushed him away and left the room.

'Get out me car!'

I shakily picked up the phone. "C-Cream…?"

"Hello Am-"

"Sonic is pissing me off again. He's the blame for all me pain and heartache!"

"Honestly Amy, all I want is for you to become friends with Sonic again."

"No, no Cream. Don't want to go through this again!"

"A-Amy, please!"

"No, no Cream."

The phone call ended.

I drew my knees to my face, preparing to cry my eyes out. That is, until I heard a voices from the game room.

"Sonic, you know Amy isn't a child anymore. Amy can make her own decisions and whether someone is a bad influence. And from what I've seen, she appreciates me. She's my friend and not yours. Suck it up, asshole." Shadow…?

"I have to admit, Amy has grown to be quite a beauty." Shut up, Knuckles.

"Besides, what has Princess Sally done for you?" Blazed mockingly masked. "Amy's grown up and has her own life now! Why the heck do you keep on treating her life a little girl?"

Rouge sassily piped into the conversation. "I say it's not fair that poor girl has tried everything for just a shred of genuine appreciation and she gets? Not even so much as a compliment. And yet, all little miss princess has to do is bat her eye without so much as lifting a finger and boom, you pretty much throw yourself at her, screaming: Take me, I'm yours!"

"Sonic, are you sure the rose you gave her was out of genuine feelings or you just wanted to get her off your chest?" Silver asked.

It was pretty obvious what the answer was.

Sonic broke me…

Bringing all this drama with him…

I want to forget him…

I can't bring myself to…

What the fuck, Cream?

I'm wasting my time on him…he still comes crawling back somehow. I've tried everything to get away…

I need to stop thinking about Sonic all the time and start focusing on what I'm going to do for the talent show!

With slightly bloodshot eyes and a rising temperature, I forced myself to bed, even though it was around six in the evening.

Amy is so dumb. Cream realised something so obvious. Do you know what it is?

Anyway, I've got some songs I want Amy to sing at the talent show. I'm quite a rock fan…yeah.
