*3:55 PM*
Delia stood up and began to walk towards Ash cautiously unsure of his reaction. Ash lifted his head and stared at his mother with a slight hurt expression solidifying his theory. He gave her a knowing glance but still asked to be sure,
"M-mom did I d-do this?"
Delia stopped when she got to the side of his bed and caressed his face gently. Upon closer inspection of his mother he noticed instead of her usual yellow shirt, pink half sweater, navy blue pencil skirt and off white flats, she was wearing a skin tight black body suit that had padded elbows, knees and chest area along with black combat boots. Her Auburn hair was put up in a tight bun with her bangs still loose, around her waist was a weapons holster with two guns, and a taser, a knife was strapped to her outer thigh and she had a black and crimson book bag slung across her back. She stared at Ash and nodded her head slowly seemingly trying to let the information sink in.
Ash let his head fall back and hit the pillow with a muted thump and whooshing sound. He stared at the gaping hole in the ceiling that still had bits of plastering falling from it, then he turned his head towards the injured body slumped in the chair beside his bed. He had so many questions swarming inside his head and didn't which to ask first,
"Howdidthishappen?HowdidIdothis?Whereiseverybody?Aretheyok?IsPaulok?Whyareyoudress-!" Delia cut Ash off abruptly by covering his mouth with her hand,
"Slow down sweetheart, I'll answer all your questions just give me a minute to sort things out." She said gently afraid of another outburst, not knowing what could set him off. Ash nodded his head and Delia removed her hand from his mouth, she turned to Paul and shook his shoulder accidentally jostling his injuries. Paul shot up with a strangled gasp thinking they were under attack again, he stared at the bed and calmed down when he saw Ash still strapped to the bed. Ash felt bad when he saw how Paul looked at him like he was a rabid Pokémon. His jacket was absent, he was wearing a blood red T-shirt one size too big and baggy black cargo pants.
"Paul why don't you go see how the repairs are going while I explain the situation to Ash." Paul glanced warily at mother and son, he didn't move until Delia sent him a reassuring smile. Paul trudged reluctantly to the cracked door frame and opened the door, he suddenly stopped and looked back at Ash with a serious expression,
"You're perfect just the way you are" with that he left the room and shut the door behind him. Ash was confused but pushed the words to the back of his mind for later analyzation choosing to focus on his mother instead.
"Ok mom" he paused to make himself comfortable, "Tell me what happened" Delia stared at her son and instead of answering his questions she just gazed at him lovingly, she claimed Paul's unoccupied chair and pulled it closer to the bed.
"I remember when you were born, you were the cutest thing I had ever seen. An unruly mop of black hair, big Amber orbs full of curiosity, a button nose, beautiful caramel skin...I knew from the second that you were born I'd love you till the day I died," she ran a soothing hand through his hair "and I was right, you grew up to be one of the kindest children I've met, your on the verge of manhood and there's so much that you don't know, so much knowledge that you haven't even grazed the tip of."
Ash frowned when Delia started to cry, he struggled to lift himself up when he realized he was still strapped to the bed. He let out a huff of frustration and closed his eyes trying to focus on a way to get out, he blinked in surprise at hearing a clink on the bed frame. He looked down to see the straps slightly frayed and hanging limply off the sides, he shook off his confusion and moved forward to wrap his arms around his mother.
Delia was stiffened when she felt him touch her but relaxed to not offend him. She turned towards him and smiled,
"I guess your wondering how that happened" she sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. Ash pulled back and sat cross legged on the bed, he gave his mom an attentive stare ready to listen.
"I'll start from the beginning I guess," she cupped her chin and looked up thinking where to start "When you were born you were a little miracle in me and Kirai's life," she noticed him stiffen out the corner of her eye but brushed it off as him still sensitive, "but it seemed as it wasn't meant to be, we were told two hours later that your immune system system was slowly failing and you wouldn't make it through the week, you had already contracted pneumonia." Ash stroked Delia's bangs back as she shook a little at the memory.
"We had to leave you at the hospital hooked up to so many machines, while you were there we went to the library to research different ways and or people that could help and by midnight we were still empty handed. I had started crying a bit and Kirai and I were so frustrated at the point that that we got into an argument, we were broken apart by the elderly librarian, he asked us what was wrong and with nothing to lose we told him."
Delia chuckled at the adorable look of concentration on Ashes face, "The man surprisingly offered us a solution, he was actually an Pokémon professor who made cross breeds of different Pokémon. Of course we didn't believe him called him crazy at first until he showed us his companion, a mix between an Aipom and a Jinx. We didn't have any better ideas and as sick as it seemed we were desperate and sad to say you could have died either way, so we accepted his offer to help you." Ash was frozen in place as he listened to his mom, hoping this wasn't going where he thought it was,
"It took him three days but he finished a serum just in time that would help you, he told us the risks and we still accepted it, he mixed together healthy human cells with one of each of the 18 Pokémon types, he said that there we so many because the single Pokemon cells alone would consume and destroy the human cells inserted with them." Ash whispered horrified "M-mom..." Delia continued despite her sons predicament,
"We took the serum with us to the hospital mixed in with a bottle of my breast milk, I convinced them that if you were to die that I at least wanted to hold and nurture you once before you did. I fed you the bottle and surprisingly you took the whole thing, the doctors said you wouldn't eat even a quarter of what they gave you. The effect was almost instant...you died in my arms May 25, XX98 at 8:45 AM, knowing the risk we were devastated that you didn't survive. At 8:55 AM the elderly man that helped us walked into the room with a syringe in his hands."
Ash sat flabbergasted at the information being presented. "At 9:00 AM all hell broke lose, your eyes snapped open unexpectedly and they had a glowing orange tint to them, you floated out of my arms and into the middle of the room sprouting different appendages, the items on the room were flying everywhere and there was a pressure that kept us in place.
The elderly man struggled out of your hold and stuck you with the syringe he had brought with him, it took a few minutes but you had passed out and started falling to the ground, I caught you mid air and by 9:35 AM I was holding an ALIVE healthy baby boy with fresh slightly glowing lightning bolt scars on his cheeks, the man explained that he injected something that would temporarily keep your Pokémon side dormant.
We lived happily in peace until your second birthday you said you were feeling sick and then by six that evening, the same thing that happened in the hospital happened again, only difference was we were able to touch you, we quickly rushed you to the elderly man. He had become a Pokémon scientist and during those two years he had been working on antidote that would lock away your attributes but still let them seep out enough to let you live if they ever went out of control.
The antidote worked but it made it so you have off a constant pheromone that makes you smell like a Pokémon, all of it was locked up mentally with some of your earlier memories and the only way it would break is if a strong Psychic connection could smash the wall and apparently it did it in the wrong way causing you to go berserk and lash out at everybody." Ash was silent for a while letting pieces fall into place but there was one part that didn't click.
"Mom you speak of this elderly man very fondly...who was he?" Delia smiled noticing he had become slightly more perceptive and whispered "Not was darling, IS, he is Professor Oak" Ash leaned away from his mom in surprise "W-What?!" Delia sighed rubbing the bridge of her nose, she leaned closer to Ash.
"He's the one who kept you completely stable over the years, ever since he locked up your powers mentally there have been small lash outs from you unconsciously. Some have been small spurts of in-human strength, psychically throwing items across the room, making things explode, being able to swim underwater for hours upon hours, withstanding third degree burn worthy amounts of heat. Everything that has happened was forgotten and replaced with a different memory because of the serum." Delia played with her Ash's fingers as she let him process the information, unbeknown of her son piecing together a different puzzle than hers.
Ash's head swam as his thoughts solidified 'That's why Professor Oak is always around, why Carla called me family, why injuries heal quicker...No wonder Kirai calls me a monster, I AM ONE' tears welled up in the corner of his eyes as the revelation came to light. He covered his face with his hands suddenly scaring Delia since he'd been quite so long, she was confused when she saw his shoulders shaking.
When he removed his hands it was her turn to lean back surprised, he had tears occasionally trailing down his face and his eyes were unfocused. Ash let out a ragged breath that strangely sounded like a strangled sob and started to laugh, Delia wasn't sure what to do as she watched her son have a mental break down.
The non existent wind in the room picked up whipping Delia's bangs gently around her face, the chairs and machinery untangled floating around the room.
Delia chuckled nervously "A-ash honey tell me w-what's wrong, you h-have got to calm down a bit or else-" she didn't get to finish her sentence as the wind started howling. Everything became dead silent the only sound was a high pitch ringing, Delia looked at Ash and was scared shitless when his lone crazed glowing eye zeroed in on her. Clear as a bell he whispered,
"Oh God..."

I was gonna leave this like it is but it's been so long so I said Naaaaaaaaaah! :P
As soon as the words left his mouth everything was violently slammed against the wall, including Delia. She had to bite back the urge to vomit when she was slammed, her head knocked against the wall making it swim dangerously towards the inky abyss of unconsciousness.
She looked up to see Ash curled in fetal position on the bed clawing at his head and eyes squeezed shut. Delia winced when she tried to pull away from the wall and was pushed into it more forcefully,
"Ash!" She yelled over the howling wind, "you have to calm down! If you don't you might grind everything in here to nothing but dust! Including me" she muttered the last part but Ash still heard it. He was suddenly stuck as he heard a voice call out in his head, 'She's right you know~' it said in a sing song voice. 'You'll kill poor mommy dearest then you can come back and be daddy's little monster again' it chuckled sinisterly. (Imagine HIM's sinister laugh from Power Puff Girls...which I do not own either)
Ash struggled to calm his self knowing that he couldn't give in to Kirai, he blocked out his voice and composed him self trying to think rationally about his situation. It took him 20 minutes to calm himself and he gradually let up on the pressure unconsciously, by time he got everything under control he was exhausted. He was damp being covered in sweat, his arms were shaking from holding up his slightly slumping upper body and his eyes were half lidded and still glowing slightly.
Delia groaned from being suddenly let go and crashing to the floor. She shook her head and struggled to get up, Ash watched her guiltily and forced his aching body to move off the bed, he stumbled when his feet touched the ground trying to support himself.
He shakily made his way towards Delia wondering why the room was tilting to the left, Delia looked up to see a determined and concerned Ash making his way towards her. The only problem was he was tilting dangerously to the left looking about ready to keel over, Delia quickly pushed her pain aside and leapt to her feet just barley managing to make it across the room to catch Ash before he hit the ground.
She sighed tiredly wondering how in the world did this happen so suddenly, she knew that the block was going to break sooner or later she just wished that it later and less violently. She smiled fondly and brushed the hair off the left side of his face, a frown immediately marred her peaceful expression when she caught site of the scar across his left eye.
She wondered if he had any other scars besides the one on his face, the best solution would to be give him a bath since he was A. Unconscious and needed one and B. Because she was just plain curious.
She drug him to the bathroom with slight difficulty and stripped him down to his boxers, she put the plug in the bottom of the tub and let it fill
up, while she waited she took the time to observe her sons body. Shockingly (to her) she found his body cover in scars, some old, some new and a lot of them were faded proof of his healing ability.
'What happened to my baby!' she wondered as tears welled up at how many scars there were. She monotonously finished stripping him, turned off the water and placed him in the tub, Delia washed him gently and made sure not go over the more sensitive marks.
All the while she couldn't shake the feeling of someone watching her. After rinsing him Delia carefully removed him from the tub, swiftly dried him off and dressed him in a pair of blue boxers with duckies on them, a white t-shirt and white socks. She cleaned up the bathroom and proceeded to drag him back to the room he was strapped into earlier.
After laying Ash on the bed she continued a careful search of his body for any faded scars she might have missed, and oh boy did she miss a lot. There were faded scars on his back that looked like they were made with a whip or knife, faded stab wounds and when she looked close enough, around his neck were hand imprints of hands far larger than his own.
The worst scars she could make out were the ones on his arms, the only reason she dubbed them the worse were because they looked self inflicted. After several moments of analyzing Ash, her gaze hardened and she pulled a chair up, lacing her fingers together resting her head on them and her elbows on her knees.
'We may have talked about him a lot but there's still too much even I don't know' with that she prepared herself.
*2 hours later*
Ash woke up and rubbed his eyes unable to focus his bleary vision on one thing, he turned his head to the side and was startled to see his mother staring at him with a cold calculating glare.
"Mom what's wrong?" He asked ready to make a run for it.
"Sweet heart we talked about a lot today but apparently not enough" she said letting her gaze sweep over him. Ash unconsciously shivered at her stare.
"L-like what?" He asked shrinking in on him self.
"How about we talk about scars..." She muttered. Ash tilted his head to the side in confusion.
"What scars?" He asked in pure confusion, Delia sat up and roughly pushed his hair to the side and grabbed his arm.
"Oh" he said bitterly.
'Those scars...'
