~~AT THE SAME TIME THAT FRANCIS WAS IN THE BEAST'S ROOM~~
Tino watched his 'waiter' disappear behind the top of the stairs. He slumped slightly and remembered that the Beast was still not here. Perhaps he is not coming…oh, well! I know that I won't shake like a leaf all during dinner now!
He sighed and smiled a bit. I wonder what's on the menu? Just as he thought that, a man wearing a waist apron walked through the double doors. He had blonde hair, with a curl on the left side, and a cross type barrette thing. He was carrying a tray, and the smell of broiled fish soon filled the air.
"Here." The man had set the tray down in front of Tino, lifiting off the lid, revealing a beautiful filet of cod, covered in spices and lemon juice. The tantalizing aroma made Tino's mouth water.
"T-thank you…" The small blonde looked around for silverware, but found none.
"Uh…" Before he could speak, Tino was watching the man pull a napkin out of his pocket. He set the napkin down on the table, and then flung it off, revealing a fork, knife, and spoon in their appropriate places. Tino gasped. The man smiled slightly and winked at him, before disappearing all together.
"Wha..?" The confused teen reached out to where the waiter had been, feeling around for any type of form.
"Huh…" Slumped back into his seat and reached for the fork. Just as he did so, Francis came tumbling down the stairs, landing on his bottom.
"Baise!" He swore in French and slowly stood. Tino just stared at him. The Frenchman did a small hair-flip to remove the hair from his eyes and walked towards Tino, limping slightly.
"He will be here momentarily Monsieur." Francis groaned and held his lower back, which had hit the edge of the last stair when he landed. Tino snickered slightly, but then realized what his long haired friend had just said.
"W-who?" Francis smiled, then grimaced, and leaned against the table.
"The Master of course! Who else?" Tino gulped and slowly put his fork down.
"He's coming like, now?" Francis smiled.
"Right now." Tino's eyes widened and he sank into his seat.
"In fact, I think I hear him!" The blond grinned and gestured towards the stairs. Standing at the top, was the beast. He was wearing a dark blue coat with yellow epaulettes and his 'mane' was groomed a little. He slowly descended, treading on each step slowly, his claws making a clicking noise with each stride. When he reached the bottom, he made his way to the opposite chair of Tino, and sat down, his gaze focusing on the smallers face.
Tino gulped and looked away. He could not look the beast in the eye. The silence cut like daggers through the air. Nobody spoke, not even the ever- talkative Francis, who was still holding his lower back.
The beasts eyes were like the ocean, after it had been iced over by a cold front. His mouth opened a little, and Tino could see his teeth, they were huge, like butcher knives, and they looked sharp too, sharp enough to tear the flesh off of anyone…Including our little Tino.
"H'llo…" Tino jumped and yelped quietly. His voice is so deep…I hope he doesn't have a taste for blonde teens!
"Heh, Heh…h-hello…" The nervousness in Tino's voice was obvious, and he shook like a Chihuahua on caffeine.
"Fr'ncis, d'nner?" The beast never took his eyes off of his guest as he pointed to the kitchen, gesturing for Francis to go get his food. The Frenchman bowed, and quickly limped away to the kitchen.
DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE WITH HIM! Tino's mind screamed. He laughed nervously.
"Are ya gonna eat yer d'nner?" Tino jumped again, remembering the meal that sat before him.
"O-oh! Yeah…" He slowly lifted his utensil and scooped up some of the fish, bringing it to his mouth, and then eating it.
"Heh…Yeah! It's v-very g-good!" He forced a smile and continued eating. It was very good, but Tino was so scared he could barely taste it.
The beast's mouth twitched. Look at him. He must think that I am a monster. He's so scared. What can I do to calm him down?
"How about a tour aft'r d'nner?" The smaller again jumped, almost spilling his fish onto his lap. The beast mentally facepalmed. Smooth…real smooth.
"Uh…s-sure! That s-sounds f-fun I guess…" Tino smiled a very nervous smile and continued eating.
He thinks I'm going to hurt him…
"Ya don't h've ta w'rry. I'm not gonna hurt ya." Tino looked up from his plate to see those oceanic blue eyes staring back at him. He relaxed a little.
"O-oh, okay…heh, heh…" He smiled a little and continued eating.
