chapter 14- dream world

"Yugi don't drink it." Athena cried as the glass tube fell to the ground and shattered. It had been one huge mistake.

Everything went fuzzy and Yugi began to fell weak. Soon enough he felt the whole world tip to the side and go black.

When Yugi came to, he was at the entrance way to the building he was in moments ago but the grass was well cut and looked as if you could live in it. The boy sat on the smooth ground and admired the building. It looked brand new. No cracks or vines showed on the now freshly staked bricks. The sun shone down on the building and when the boy turned around he sow a small girl with short black hair and big blue eyes. She wore a blue summer dress, matching shoes and wore a straw hat with a red ribbon wrapped around it. She was humming a sweet tune and skipped towards the door of the house. A boy was next to her but had brown hair however he looked exactly like the girl. They held hands.

"Brother we're here." The girl smiled. And so did the boy.

"indeed we are Hope." The boy looked at his sister. "To our new home."

"I can't wait to meet the others. I bet they'll be friendly and kind."

"Of course they will be and I'll make sure they are. Let's go inside." They carried on walking. The girl called Hope nodded her head to the brunette.

suddenly a sharp wind wiped at Yugi and soon enough the scene began to change. More flowers appeared on the grass and the area seemed to give off a more pleasing aura. A girl ran out with longer black hair and her eyelashes looked longer around her blue eyes. "I'll come back when the moon reached the sky." She smiled and ran down the path to meet a boy who looked almost like Yugi.

The tri-coloured haired boy realised that this was his parents and his mum lived in the building. He watched as his dad, Sam, take the hand of his mum, Hope, and run off happily. Yugi stood up and decided to follow the pair.

When he reached them he sow them at a river full of swimming fish. The girl was singing with her feet in the water and the boy admired her. The girl now wore a pretty red dress with a flower in her hair. The boy wore a plain T-shirt and trousers with bits of mud on and grass stains.

When she stopped singing the boy clapped happily. "That was beautiful." He smiled then he jumped up and hugged Hope.

"Thanks." The girl hugged back.

"I can't believe I found you though. Someone like me."

"Me nether but I'm so happy."

"Me too. And you make my life complete."

Hope gave a light laugh. The wind blow at the group.

'So this is my parents when they were younger. They look so at peace. It's hard to imagine anything bad happening to them.' Yugi thought as he watched from behind the bushes. Strange at it sounded but no-one seamed to notice him. 'Have I gone to the past?'

Soon enough the boy got down and scooped up some water then splashed Hope. "That's freezing." Hope laughed as she splashed Sam.

Many splashes later both of them burst into laughter. "This is fun."

"I wish this could stay like this forever. It's so peaceful." Sam agreed. Soon the skys grew dark and the people of the towns and city's took to their beds. "I'll walk you home."

"I'm love that." The girl smiled as she took Sam's hand and they walked back with Yugi trailing behind them.

Again a strong current of wind blasted Yugi and when it relaxed Yugi was in a hall full of people. He even sow Joey and Tristan's parents in the crowd. And at the front were his. His mum wore a long puffy dress with a bow attached to the ribbon across the hip. It had three thin pieces of string that came out from under the bow and followed the flow of the dress. His dad wore a neat looking tux with a black tie. He looked smart (apart from his hair).

"You may now kiss the bride." The Pope said and both the boys parents kissed. Yugi couldn't help but smile as a small tear rolled down his cheek. He couldn't of been any happier then he was now. Both his parents look beautiful in their clothes and all his relatives were there.

Suddenly another strong blast of wind came and when it went Yugi was standing in the heart of town in front of what looked like an abandoned shop. Many people wandered around as they did their daily life. Soon enough Yugi sow his parents. His mum now wore a grey short-sleazed shirt and a pair of shorts. She had her long black hair tied up in a ponytail with a black scrunchie. She had on a pair of brown gladiator sandals. Yugi's dad wore a loose fitting red top, jeans and blue hoodie with black trainers. "Are you sure about this?" Hope asked.

"Yeah it's the only way to help us and the baby." Sam encouraged.

"It you say so." And with that they went inside but before the door closed, Yugi slide in.

"Hi guys. I've decided to help." Sam said to the people. Most of them were at the marriage but only one person wasn't. It was dark in the room and only candles were lit to make sure everyone was safe.

"Finally." Someone spoke up. The person had spiky hair and blood brown eyes. The boy held onto a girl who had stunning similarities. Except her hair was calmer and softer and she had bigger and more friendly eyes.

Coldness crept and soon another blast of wind came but when the scene changed the place looked hardly recognisable. There were less people around and the atmosphere was cold and dark. Yugi looked around and sow his mum wearing her usual colourful clothes. His dad was by her side. They were looking around the place carefully. Yugi looked at his mum and noticed a small baby in her arms. 'That's... me.'

"You need to get out of here while you still can." Sam paniced as he got out a bag and slid the baby in it. Hope put a note in it and they hugged for one last time. "I'll meet you at my dad's. I'll protect you." Sam held on the bag as Hope smiled.

"I love you."

"I love you more."

"No I love you more." They smiled at each other then parted ways but suddenly a scream erupted from behind Yugi. 'Mum?'

"Hope!" Sam screamed as he ran towards were the noise came from after hiding the baby Yugi.

Unexpectedly the wind came again and Yugi was in a super clean house. Everything looked neat and tidy and had a space. He was in his dad's room. His dad was fast asleep on a pillow soaked in tears and a baby was snuggled up to him. No Hope.

Soon enough Sam's eyes flickered open and he got out of bed and began to write a letter. "This is for you, Yugi." He said as he placed the letter into the cot in the room.

Hours later Sam put the baby in the bag from earlier and headed downstairs. "I'm sorry dad." And with that he went outside and left the house. A note rested on the flour in the house.

'Dad..."
