I was in full grump mode after the probing and lecturing that Carlisle had given me. "No, I'm not mad at you," He interrupted, "I just know that now there is a real change in the house, sooner or later, some of us are going to have to pick sides,"

"Yes," He chuckled, "The question is, are you on mine?"

"Maybe," I said teasingly, happy that he wasn't going to make this linger on, "Esme is, I mean, she really is something,"

"She is, but she won't be staying in the house tonight, she and Rosalie are heading to a motel," He said, frowning again, I hated it when he wasn't smiling, "There are plenty of places they could have stayed, but I guess they wanted to be out of town,"

"Can we go out of town?" I asked, trying to make it seem like I wasn't too eager to be in a hotel room with Rosalie and Esme, "It could be dangerous for us being here,"

"I've already called Jake, he's going to have Embry and Quil watch the house tonight," He said, smirking at me, "I'm going with him to patrol, there is a bonfire party at the beach, and he thinks that could attract the killer,"

"I want to party," I pouted, "and kill stuff,"

"I'm not even going to get on the land, Alice and I will just be nearby, if Jake gets lucky, he and Leah will chase the vampire to the boarder and we'll help get it,"

"And what's stopping me from coming to join you or cross into the reservation?" I asked, feeling certain that he already had this covered. I also got my answer when he turned the corner and pulled up outside my house. My bedroom window was open, but I didn't need it to be, in order to hear the screaming coming from upstairs.

"I'm not happy about cutting date night short," Was Alice's way of greeting me, her mind was filled with the image of sadness that had been on Angela's face, put there by the phone-call I had given Alice before their movie started. That's what inspired me to get Seth involved. Jacob had been looking for a reason to keep Seth out of any possible fighting, I needed Bella distracted and Angela needed something to brighten up her evening. "I'll buy you tickets for tomorrow nights show," I promised her, giving her a nudge towards the boundary line and breaking into a fresh sprint. I'd left out several parts of why this little mission had to happen tonight, mostly because I didn't want Bella to be anywhere near the packs fighting, if it did come to that. Being this close to the reservation was a high risk move, especially since it was only going to be myself and Alice. Esme and Rosalie weren't out of town like I told Bella they were, instead they were taking it upon themselves to visit one of the girls, that Paul and Jared had spent the evening with the other night. The idea was to get a confession out of the girl, but I couldn't see it happening.

"I really don't see the point in this," Alice sighed, "It's not like they're going to just show you that they're monsters, if Jake and his friends are at this party, I would assume Sams minions are going to be more careful,"

"You would think that, the issue for them is, Jake and Leah won't actually be at the party tonight," I explained, "Or, so they won't think so,"

"Oh?" Alice frowned. Whenever we dealt with the wolves, she was the one who had to go in blind. Alice couldn't see their future, there were plenty of theories on why she couldn't but nothing concrete. Either way, she wouldn't be able to see what the plan is.

"Embry and Quil are going to meet us at the border, Jake and Leah are hiding somewhere else, keeping a close eye on our targets," I told her, rushing through and leaping across the ravine that separated the two territories. I skidded to a stop, focusing all my senses on the empty darkness around me. In terms of being out in the open, the spot we were standing in, put us right in the edge of the Quileute hunting grounds. One small foot out of place and it would mean war in Sam's eyes, granted that might not be an issue after tonight.

"Right, so you're just expecting Paul and Jared to screw up and we what, banish them?" Alice asked, a note of disbelief in her tone, "How do you expect them to break their own laws in public?"

"By throwing the perfect bait at them," I said, smiling when Alice looked at me confused, then explaining, "Who in their right mind could deny Jessica Stanley?"

"Alright, I could see where that would work," She nodded in agreement, "But how do we get round dealing with the whole banishing and not starting a war thing?"

"Sam was given a fake tip earlier this morning, that a vampire was moving into the Maka country, he's taken Colin and Brady with him for training, leaving Paul and Jared to watch over their half of the reservation," I said, smiling at her.

"So, what, we catch them and then banish them?" Alice asked, seeing the big hole in our plan.

"Sure, Sam could just ignore the order and have them back on the reservation," I said casually, "But you can't order something that's dead,"

Stealth had never been our strong point but tonight it was essential. Leah and I moved as ghosts, constantly watching the party, focusing all our attention on Paul and Jared. The four of us closed in around Paul and Jared, watching as the two of them leapt across the ravine. Jumping would slow us down, but we didn't have to worry about that tonight. I was ending this myself, after all this time, all the time I spent ignoring what they did, it was time to end it. "I'll go and make sure everything is alright, Esme and Rosalie will be back at the house," Alice said quickly, Leah didn't need to ask, and she knew it, she followed Alice with Seth in mind, knowing that he wouldn't feel comfortable being near Carlisle.

"Edward," Bella spoke, her voice clear and firm, "What will we do with this one?" She asked, keeping her grip on Kim, who looked like she was passed begging, her face torn with grief while she gazed over Jared's corpse.

Edward looked at Bella for a very long time, nothing was spoken and nothing shared. I knew what Bella wanted him to do, I wanted him to do it as well, I wanted him to join us on this side of clarity. Knowing that we were doing the right thing and removing these monsters from the world. So, what if it made us monsters in return? They deserved this, they all deserved this for the pains that they inflicted on the weak and innocent. And, it was clear that Edward agreed with this. He stepped forward when Bella tossed the girl to him, he watched his lover with devotion moments before he reached down and took Kim by the throat. Sam's connections to the reservation would be breaking now, with my banishment in place I could feel the new power flowing through me.
