(I was so stupid for letting you go,
But I know you're still the one)
"You guys just love to get in my way, don't you?" Utau asked, frowning. The constant unexpected arrivals of the guardians were becoming such a pain.
"Utau, you know what you're doing is wrong, we're here to put an end to it." Amu spoke with confidence, her features determined as she pointed straight towards the blonde
"Of course you are," Utau said, rolling her violent eyes, "I'm singing Amu, might I ask when that became illegal?"
Amu frowned towards Utau's sarcasm "Utau you know very well what it I'm talking about-"
"Oh? Do I? I've seemed to have forgotten, I'm sorry, could you please remind me?" Utau purposely interrupted, feigning boredom as she was studying her nails, but pouted when noticing one of her nails was chipped,
"Utau-"
"Hold that thought Hinamori, I need to do something about my nails-"
"UTAU! " Amu screamed causing Utau to flinch slightly as she turned to face the angry pinkette
"Utau, you're stealing people's heart eggs! Don't you understand how important that is to people? It's their dreams Utau, their goals in life! You can't just take them away! Look at all these people!" Amu yelled, moving her arm to indicate the rest of the lifeless stadium, what came in as cheering excited fans had now turned to almost dead, lifeless people.
The blonde successfully held back another flinch towards the harshness of Amu's tone and the amount of people that sat with blank eyes,
"Please Utau," Amu begged "You're not like this- I know you're not, you've just been caught up with the wrong people,"
"Shut up..." Utau whispered, but Amu was yet to finish her speech
"Utau you're so much nicer than this- you're just afraid- please, just let us help you."
"SHUT UP!" The blonde screamed covering her ears with both of her hands, Most of the x-eggs, sensing something wrong immediately went into overdrive and attacked the pinkette, the others circled around the idol, as if trying to protect the girl who was currently on her knees, still covering her ears.
"SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!" she continued to scream as the x-eggs began to attack.
"Utau..." Il spoke, staring worriedly towards the blonde, stealing a glance towards the other egg who had yet to be born
Utau coughed, trying to control her anger "Sorry Il," she whispered, quickly standing, brushing her bangs out of her eyes, now blinking the blonde noticed Dia in front of her.
"Dia..." Utau murmured before shaking her head and nodding
"MY HEART UNLOCK!"
The transformation was quick as Utau was instantly dark Jewel,
Questions ran through the girl's mind
Should I really fight them?
"Are you hesitating?" Utau could hear Dia ask
"I..."
"Are you?" Dia pressed on
Utau gulped, shaking her head, "No."
And with that the battle had began, Everyone was firing attacks towards each other, Ikuto was currently against Tadase and Amu, but he seemed to have the situation under control, the x eggs were taking care of Yaya, Kairi, Nagihiko and Rima-
Wait a second.
Utau blinked "what the-...KAIRI?!" the blonde's jaw dropped towards the boy.
Kairi blinked turning to face Utau, he gave her an apologetic smile causing the blonde to stare,
Betrayal.
It was everywhere, why the hell was he suddenly on their side? Utau scowled, she hated being the last on to find out.
"Utau!" a voice called from behind, causing Utau to do a whole 360 degrees turn towards the voice
"Ikuto-?" Utau gasped out as she felt him grab onto her hand and run off "we can't battle right now, there's too many of them,"
"W-Wait a second, Ikuto!" her voice was lost as the lights had flickered off and Utau was now stuck being dragged off the stage by her older sibling,
Utau stifled another gasp as she was being yanked off her eyes made contact with a familiar emerald green. Time seemed to have slowed down then as the two kept their eye contact, he was in his character transformation with Daichi; sky jack.
Utau was pretty sure that she had become deaf when all the sounds of battle had muted, but she was able to hear her name being called from him.
"Utau-!"
it was then that the blonde had noticed that she had unconsciously held her free arm out towards him, almost as if reaching towards the boy, and the idol's eyes had went even wider if possible when she noticed that he was doing the exact same thing in reaching his arm out towards her, Utau was forcefully pulled out of the stadium before she could even utter a word.

"That was uncalled for" Utau muttered as she found herself back at Easter's headquarters, standing in the elevators with her older brother,
"We were losing Utau," Ikuto said, raising his hand to run through his hair.
"I seriously don't think it'll even be a bad thing if they even do win," Utau muttered,
Ikuto said nothing as he walked out of the elevator and down the hallway with Utau trailing close behind "why are we even here?"
"I honestly don't know," the older male spoke "I just got a text from Sanjo saying we were ordered to come here,"
Utau scoffed, her eyes trailing down towards her hand were her phone was, it had been ringing for a while so the blonde was forced to put it onto silent.
"Ikuto, what we're doing is stupid." The blonde said, eyes downcast
"I know" Ikuto said, staring ahead with his hands in his pockets, the rest of the short trip down the hallway was silent and from the corner of Utau's eye, she could see Il and Yoru exchanging worried looks.

"You're both utterly useless!" Sanjo-san raged as she paced back and forth in her office, both Utau and Ikuto keeping neutral expressions as they watched their aunt pace around like a mad person.
"We need to keep those brats away" Sanjo-san seethed
Utau watched hurt, this wasn't the Sanjo-san she knew, her aunt was nicer than this, she KNEW her aunt was nicer than this! So...what had caused the sudden change in personality?
"Even Kairi-!" Sanjo-san cursed, massaging her temple with furrowed eyebrows and the two siblings said nothing.
"This isn't working! We're going to need to do something were even those pesky kids will not be able to find out!" Sanjo continued with eyes narrowed
"Like a secret?" Utau asked, tilting her head slightly and Sanjo-san's eyes suddenly lit up causing Utau to inwardly cringe—wishing she could take what she said back.
"Yes! That's perfect Utau! Instead of those stupid concerts were your face is on the billboard we could hold a secret concert!" Sanjo-san exclaimed causing Utau to gape towards her aunt.
"B-But! How the hell are people supposed to even know?" Utau stuttered, hoping to get her aunt off the havoc which was more than likely going to be created if not prevented now.
"We'll hand out flyers! And while we're at it we could send those idiot guardians on a trip far...just long enough to keep them busy while you sing."
Utau gaped "Wait a second-"
"And while we're at it" Utau noticed the mischievous glint in her aunt's eyes causing Utau to cringe.
"Utau. You're paying your school a visit, and call that nice boy you did the music video with, what was his name- Ryu? The two of you could do a duet."
Utau was at a loss for words, "Ryu works in Easter?!" she exclaimed
"What are you talking about? Of course he does!" Sanjo-san said, blinking towards the teen causing Utau to almost face palm, why was it that suddenly everyone she knew was involved with Easter? Utau found it in herself that she wouldn't be surprised if Saaya worked there herself.
"Well! Now that we're gotten that sorted! We just need to make it happen" Sanjo-san said, grinning to herself.
Utau's mind had only been able to come up with two words at that moment.
Oh Shit.
x-x-x
What the hell was happening? Utau's mind had barely realised that it had already been three whole days since the talk with Sanjo-san, everything happening was becoming ridiculously stupid.
"Ah, look who we have here!" a cheerful voice called out causing Utau to cringe. She knew EXACTLY just who that voice belonged to.
"N-Nikaidou-sensei" Utau said in utter dismay as she stared with her jaw dropped towards her teacher- uh, well ex-teacher.
Nikaidou smiled towards the blonde "How have you been Utau-chan?"
Utau almost cringed with how familiar he was acting with her "fine, you?" she asked instead, trying to atleast attempt to be polite.
"Eh. Same old, same old." He waved off rolling his eyes playfully
"Sanjo-san didn't take the break up too well" Utau blurted out causing her old teacher to stare towards the blonde for a few moments with a blank expression.
Well, that was before he bawled like a baby next to the tree.
Honestly, Utau didn't see it coming when he had burst into tears, rolling around the floor comically "I-I miss her so much!" he managed to say before crying an ocean.
Utau sweatdropped "S-Sensei calm down, people are starting to stare," Utau muttered the last words and Nikaidou seemed to understand as he unsuccessfully stood up before once again breaking down into a pitiful pool of shame next to a tree.
"Oh my God- Look! I'll buy you some doughnuts okay? Shit! What the hell is a person supposed to do at a time like this!?" Utau cried helplessly
