Sore, groggy Amanda awoke. It was bright, her hands bound behind her with her cuffs. Her jacket was torn and bloodied. Her blonde locks were matted with blood.
She groaned, an eerie chuckle met her ears.
Pain shot through her body as she twisted trying to catch a glimpse of her captor in the shadows that resided in the corners. A bare light bulb hung above her, the light echo of the chuckle announcing the presence of metal walls to her. She heard no noise but saw glimmers of light peeking in through the gaps. Moist soil indicative of spring in the forested region.
"Oh, Detective Rollins, I always wanted to meet my replacement."
Amanda's head snapped to the corner behind her, the vague out line of for shoes making themselves apparent to her.
"Mm, you did well Shellie, very well. This one is a good catch, pretty, and we're helping poor Nicky out too. You were supposed to testify against him weren't you, Mandy?" The woman talking stepped into the light yanking Amanda to face her using her long blonde locks that had been untied sometime before she awoke.
"Oh I'm going to enjoy breaking you. You're perfect. A nice strong detective, always in control of the situation. Yes I'm going to love making you as compliant as a well trained dog."
She tightened the hold pulling Amanda head as far back as she could.
Casey was going crazy. It had been ten hours since Amanda was supposed to meet her in that pub. Munch and Fin told her there was no one in the squad room, though Amanda's badge was sitting on her desk.
Deciding it was time to call in another perspective she dialed a number ingrained into her memory from over a half decade in SVU.
"Benson."
"Liv, there is something wrong. Amanda's been missing since last night and I don't know where she is. She's never late and the duty logs show no calls to the 1-6 last night."
"Alright, calm down Case, I'll go check out the precinct."
"Thank you, oh, shit gotta go." CLICK.
Olivia gently lifted the pale arm that laid across her chest. Quietly slipping out of bed she ambled into the bathroom shucking off her night shirt and underwear on the way. She turned the shower on, ensuring that it was set to spray icy water.
A half hour later she was dressed in her typical black suit with a crisp white shirt underneath and her standard black, almost flat boots. She leaned over the beautiful blonde, giving her a sweet kiss to her pink lips. Her eyes fluttered, baby blue gazing up at her adoringly.
"I have to go to work," apologized Liv, pressing her lips to Alex's again. "Amanda's missing."
Blue eyes widened in shock, Alex awakening from her almost comatose sleep at this revelation. She scrambled into a sitting position, dozens of questions on her tongue.
"What? When did she go missing? I'm coming with you." Her words came out in a jumbled, panicked mess. Blond hair stood out in every direction, evidence of her tossing and turning the night before.
"Honey, I'm just going to go in for a little bit. If I find anything you will be the second to know, ok?"
Alex nodded reluctantly.
