AN: I decided to rewrite this episode I hope you like it.
Marah and Kapri are watching television is the spaceship,
"But daddy, you promised you'd let me take the car to the prom! You can't do that!" A girl whines.
"Of course I can, and when you're the father you can do the same thing." The dad argues.
"Um, hello daddy, I'm a girl, not gonna happen!" The girl retorts.
"Oh well, as the kids like to say...stinks to be you." The dad says.
They continue to watch the show and start laughing. Lothor walks in a few minutes later, "How can you two watch this mindless dribble?"
"Pretty easy really, we tapped into the satellite TV system and we got tellie." Marah answers.
"When I was a kid I wasn't allowed to watch this rot, and look how much better off I am." Lothor says.
"A living example of the best of mankind," Zurgane adds.
"Not according to our research." Kapri says.
They walk to the main bridge. Marah has a clips board in her hand. She looks down at the piece of paper.
"In recent focus groups, 92 percent find Lothor unlikeable." Marah says.
"I'll show them unlikeable!" Lothor snaps.
"And boys 2- 11 find you somewhat...disturbing." Marah says.
That's a start, Lothor thought.
"Uncle, we're thinking that you should use the power of TV, instead of despising it." Marah says.
"Keep going, I'm listening." Lothor says.
"Well, conveniently enough for you we have someone in your alien army that can help." Kapri says.
"He's a big TV producer!" Marah says.
The monster walks in, "Thank you, thank you! Greetings one and all! I'm Mr. Ratwell!" The rat says. He looks over at Lothor, "Oh dear, this may take some work. Never fear, they don't call me the image maker for nothing! When I'm done with you, you're going to be a huge megastar."
Sophia, Sasha, Blake, Dustin, Shane and Hunter walk into Storm Charges, to see it was set up for some kind of demonstration.
"Hey what's this," Dustin asks.
"Real Sport pro cook-off," Sasha says.
"Sis why are you here? You already know how to cook- you're amazing by the way." Sophia says.
"True, but I want to learn some new recipes. Plus when I leave to go back to Pasadena I want you to know how to cook so you won't starve." Sasha says.
Kelly is waiting behind the counter prepping ingredients.
"Why are real sports here anyway?" Sophia asks.
"Real Pro Sports drinks has chosen Storm Charges to host a series of cooking demonstrations." Kelly answers.
"I already know how to make smoothies, I'm out of here." Sophia says, as she tries to leave the store.
Sasha grabs her sister's arm and drags her back towards her. Dustin looks over at the fruit.
"Dude, that stuff is nasty. I don't care how you cook it." He says.
"Stick around, you might learn something." Tori says.
Sophia looks great over at the door again. She is wishing that Lothor would attack to get her out of it. She sees Cam walk in.
"Hey, Cam, what are you doing here?" Sophia asks trying not to laugh.
"Tori wanted someone to take the class with her and dad said I should get out more." Cam answers.
"But, you take cooking." Sophia says holding back a snicker.
Sasha punches her sister in the arm. Sophia rubs her arm to elevate the pain. She glances over at Sasha.
"What was that for?" Sophia snaps.
"For that last remark, if you make any more I'll do it again." Sasha says.
"Yeah, but a cooking class," Shane says starting to laugh.
"It has its advantages," Cam says.
The boys watch a string of ladies walk in store. Sasha flashes a fake smile seeing Dustin eyeing them. Everyone takes their seat. The boys walk to the back where the ladies are sitting. Shane sits down in the middle of two ladies one has long brown hair.
Can and Tori sit down in the front row in two chairs that have little reserved signs on them. Blake feels a thing of jealously seeing them together. Meanwhile back on Lothor's ship, a kelzack finished put makeup on his face.
"I don't see what lip gloss and face powder have to do with World Domination." Lothor says.
"It worked for Britt and Christina," Marah says.
"I promise that I'll give you a hit TV show! If it doesn't work I always can use my love potion to make the earthlings fall instantly in love with you. They'll be eating right out of your hands and you can use them to do your dirty work." Mr. Ratwell says; as he holds up a box with the potion inside.
"I don't want to use that, you'll see, I have natural charisma!" Lothor snaps, as he bats the box away.
The box flies into the air. Marah and Kapri fight over who gets to catch it. Kapri catches it after pushing Marah to the floor. The girls' teleport away, Back at the store, Kelly finished making the smoothies just as the girls appear where they can't be seen, "How do you know which ranger will fall in love?"
"Does it matter? There are five of them and we only need one. Then we'll convince him to help us take over earth. Uncle's going to be so proud of us...plus I might get a boyfriend out of the whole deal." Kapri says happily.
"You, this was my idea. I want a boyfriend too." Marah snaps.
They start fighting over the potion. Kapri let's go of it. The bottle flies across the room. It clanks as it lands in one of the cups. Dustin didn't know that the potion fell into his drink.
"Past the lips, over the gums," He says taking a sip. "I was right this does taste gross,"
"Really let me see," Cam says.
Dustin hands him the glass. He takes a sip and tastes the same thing Dustin did.
"You're right," Cam says.
Sasha finished her smoothie and says, "Not very sweet is it?"
"Like anything could be as sweet as you," Cam says.
Sasha looks over at Dustin. He was grinning like a love-sick baboon. She backs away towards her sister.
"Dustin, you're a baboon, why don't you do swing from a vine and let the humans have a conversation?" Cam says.
"Did you just call me a baboon?" Dustin asks.
"If the shoe fits," Cam says.
"Hey I saw her first," Dustin says.
"What are you going to do about, baboon boy?" Cam asks.
"This," Dustin says, as he picks up a hand full of flour.
He throws it at Cam. The white powder lands on his shoulder. The green ranger throws some back at him. A food fight breaks out a few seconds later. The girls, Shane and Hunter sneak out of the room trying to avoid the food flying through the air. They make it outside the store. They walk around the city.
"Does anyone think that we should tell sensei what's going on?" Sophia asks.
"Not yet, I mean nothing is wrong." Sasha says.
"Sasha, there is Cam and Dustin are acting strange." Sophia says.
They get the city plaza. Sasha hears her name being called. She turns around to see Cam and Dustin run up. Cam is carrying a bag in his hand. Dustin has an envelope in his right hand.
"I...uh...I got you something," Dustin says.
He hands Sasha the envelope. She accepts it with no feeling of guilt. She opens it and takes out a pair of tickets.
"Thanks Dustin, I can't believe that you bought me tickets to see..." Sasha reads the ticket and her smile fades, "The next motocross race at the track next week." Sasha says very disappointed.
"That was a really bad gift; you're such an air head." Cam says.
"Like you really know what Sasha would like." Dustin snaps.
"Actually Dustin, I do know." Cam says.
He hands Sasha the bag. She opens it and takes out a new cookbook. A smile appears back on her face.
"Thanks Cam," Sasha says.
"You're welcome," Cam says.
She hands Dustin back his gift. She turns around and walks away. Dustin shoves Cam and says, "Look, what you did computer geek. You scared her off,"
"It wasn't me. You're the one who gave her motocross ticket," Cam says.
"Dude that's it, Sasha will be mine! I challenge you to a wind ranger/ Samurai ranger duel." Dustin says.
"I accept your challenge, name the time and place." Cam says.
"Three o'clock at the beach," Dustin says.
"I'll be there," Cam says.
The boys glared at each other before walking away. Sasha continues her walk. She sees some kelzacks sneak into a TV station. She decided to follow them to the main room. She sees Lothor all dressed up. He is talking with Mr. Ratwell.
"I'm having serious doubts about the power of television," Lothor says.
Sasha ducks behind a cactus and continues to eavesdrop on the conversation. Mr. Ratwell says, "Trust me on this sir, that little box over there is magic. Once everyone in TV land gets a load of you, it'll be a Lothor love-fest."
"Well if you think so," Lothor says hesitantly.
Sasha hears everything she needed/wanted to hear. She tries to leave to tell the others. Zurgane stops her by jumping in front of her.
"This is a closed set gold ranger. Security, escort our trespasser to her private room. We'll deal with her later." He says.
Zurgane snaps his fingers. A bunch of kelzacks appear Sasha tries to fight them off. They grab the gold ranger and tie her to the cactus she hid behind. They gag her too so she can't make any noise to ruin Lothor's TV debut.
Back at the store Shane, Hunter and Sophia walk back inside Storm Charges, they head over to the TV. Kelly turns it on hoping to see herself on the cooking channel. Instead a big picture of Lothor's face appears along with a heart emblem the letter 'I Love Lothor' fades onto the screen.
"I read the TV listings earlier today, and I'm pretty sure this wasn't there," Sophia says.
"Come on," Shane says.
They sneak out of the room. The group ducks behind the wall outside the store to call sensei.
"Sensei, have you seen the new fall TV line up," Shane asks.
"Yes, Lothor is using subliminal signals in his broadcast to make people fall in love with him," Sensei answers.
"That is one show I'm definitely not going to record," Sophia says.
"They must be some pretty strong signals. We have to stop that broadcast," Hunter says.
"Hurry, I will try to reach the others," Sensei says.
"How do we know which studio Lothor is broadcasting from?" Sophia asks.
The sound of screaming girls fills the air a few seconds later. They look around the corner to see a mob of fan girls run past. The group leans back up against the wall to let them go by.
"Follow them," Hunter says.
The swarm of fan girls finally stopped in front of the TV studio. They run up to the glass window and start banging on it. The rangers arrive three seconds later. Sophia tries not to gag on her puke hearing the girls screaming for Lothor or saying how much they love him.
"We need to get them away from here," Blake says.
"Hey everybody, Lothor's a creep; he put you under a spell." Hunter shouts.
The girls turn around to face them. Kelly is standing in front of the group. She is holding the biggest I love Lothor sign.
"No way, we love Lothor!" Kelly yells.
"Get them!" Another girl shouts.
"Guys, I think we should run," Sophia says.
"Good idea," Hunter says.
Meanwhile at the beach Cam and Dustin stand in front of each other ready to fight. Cam takes off his glasses and puts them in his pocket.
"You ready to fight, earth boy?" Cam asks.
"Yes, be prepared to eat some sand." Dustin says.
They get into their ready positions and Cam motions for Dustin to attack. Cam blocks his obvious first attack a front kick. He aims pushes him away and launches a counter attack. The battle goes on for five minutes before Mr. Ratwell appears.
"Cut! Cut! You two are ruining my scene!" Mr. Ratwell shouts jumping up and down.
They turn to their left after they stopped fighting.
"Right back at you," Dustin says.
"Alright I've had enough," Cam says.
The boys morph and start fighting again.
"Hello, can we stick to the script." Mr. Ratwell shouts.
"Buzz off, Mickey Mouse want to be, can't you see that we're busy?" Cam asks.
Sasha shows up to see the boys fighting. She runs up to them and breaks them up.
"Hello, guys, isn't that the alien over there?" Sasha asks.
They don't say a word. The next sound she hears is the boys' swords clashing together. Sasha tries to break them up again.
"My rating are about to go through the roof." Mr. Ratwell says.
He takes out his blaster and fires it towards them. Sasha gasps in shock, "Thunder Storm, Ranger form! Ha!" She yells. The blast hits her in mid air, she is thrown backwards and land on the beach morphed.
"Sasha," Cam and Dustin shout.
They rush over to help her. Mr. Ratwell fries his blaster again. The boys get in front of her. They're thrown backwards caused by the force of the blast.
"Romance and action, this episode has it all," Mr. Ratwell says.
Sasha struggles to get to her feet. She falls back down towards the sand. Dustin is able to get back to his feet. He picks up his sword and stumbles forward to protect Sasha.
"Dustin don't!" Sasha says.
"I'll protect you Sasha," Dustin says.
Mr. Ratwell fires his blaster for the third time. Dustin spreads out his arms to prevent the alien from getting any closer to her. He deflects the blast using his sword. Mr. Ratwell stands in shock. Dustin charges in towards the alien. He activates ninja sword gold to finish it off. Then he turns around to face Sasha.
"Tori, I..." Dustin says, as a little pink heart comes out of his and Cam's chests.
Sophia and the others up. Shane and Blake help Sasha up. She was too weak from the battle. Cam and the thunder rangers combine their megazords to destroy Mr. Ratwell. A few seconds later all the girls in the city returned to normal and throw their signs into the nearest trash can.
Back at ninja Ops, Dustin and Cam are recovering from the love potion.
"If this is a love hang over, I never want to fall in love again." Cam says.
"I hear that," Dustin says. Everyone except Sophia walk into the room. Shane and Hunter are carrying a plate full of fried chicken. "Here is a little peace offering, since we messed up the demonstration. It's homemade and from the heart," Dustin says.
"There is something wrong with this picture; this actually looks edible," Sasha says.
Sophia walks in carrying boxes of fried chicken. She finishes eating the drumstick in her hand and takes out another one, Sasha smiles seeing her sister chowing down.
"Since when does homemade food come from a bucket?" Sasha says.
Sophia finishes her chicken and says, "Busted," Sasha picks up a piece of chicken off the plate. She takes a bite and savors the flavor. The group finishes the chicken a few minutes later. Sasha walks outside to clear her head about what happened today.
Even when Cam was under that spell he gave me something that I told everyone that I wanted. He actually remembered. Cam is kind of cute. Who really does have feelings for me Cam or Dustin? Sasha thought
