Beca knocked on Chloe's door late Saturday morning. The game was going to be later in the afternoon. They figured they'd grab a picnic and sit in the park near the stadium, since it was cool outside for early September. Chloe opened the door dressed in Cardinals gear, pretty much from head to toe.

"Oh no." Beca shook her head. "Please tell me you're not going to the game like that." She teased with her trademark smirk.

"Shut up, of course I am." Chloe smiled pulling her into the apartment. Beca had a Dodgers shirt and hat on. "I'm so excited for today." About that time Charlie came running out of his bedroom.

"Beca! Arwe you weady to go to da game?!" He asked as he ran into her arms. She scooped him up kissing him on the cheek.

"I sure am." She smiled then turned playful glare at Chloe for a second. "I see your mom's got you all decked out in your Cardinals shirt." She said and Charlie bounced in her arms, even throwing up his fist up into the air.

"Yeah, Cawdnals arwe da best!" She yelled and Chloe cheered him on.

"But if the Cardinals are the best, then I guess you can't wear this Dodgers hat I got for you." Beca said bringing a small out of the back of her pocket.

"Yeah, I can weaw dat!"

"Hey!" Chloe yelled and pouted as Charlie put on the hat. "What about the Cardinals. What about Molina, Charlie? Who's gonna cheer for him?"

"I cheewr fow him." Charlie said and sold his statement by nodding his head vigorously.

"Ooookayyy." She drew out, smiling. "I guess you can where it as long as you still cheer with me."

"Okay Mommy!" Chloe kissed him and Beca put him down where he went running back into his room. "I can't believe you gave him a stupid Dodger's hat." Chloe said as she tried to hit Beca's arm. Beca caught her though and kissed her soundly, effectively shutting her up. Chloe smiled into the kiss. "Okay, you're forgiven."

"Good to know that all it takes to be forgiven." Beca said then thought about that statement. "Not that I'll ever do anything that will need you to forgive me for." She quickly stated. "I would never-"

"Relax Becs.I know you wouldn't." Chloe could tell that the brunette was acting a little nervous for some reason, so she pulled Beca to the couch and held her hands. "Look I know we're kind of jumping into this whole thing. We haven't even discussed if we're in an exclusive relationship yet." Beca looked up quickly. "I mean I hope we are." She said quickly after noticing dimmer in Beca's eyes. After she corrected herself, Beca smiled and she swore the brunette let out a sigh of relief. "But just remember, we've been friends forever. You don't have to worry about saying something wrong. I'm not going anywhere. Okay?"

"Yeah. I'm sorry, I've just wanted this for so long. Now that everything seems to be finally happening, I just don't want to screw it up."

"You're not." She tucked a stray hair behind Beca's ear. "I love you. What's got you worried?" Chloe asked and the other woman shrugged her shoulders.

"It's just…You haven't seen the music side of my life. I mean, it's not a lot different and I'm still me but some people in the business are real assholes…I just don't want anything to scare you away. Just know that I will do everything in my power to make sure that-"

"Beca." Chloe interrupted. "It's sweet that you're concerned but I've been waiting for this as long as you have. I'm not going anywhere." Beca gave her a goofy smile.

"So does this mean you're my girlfriend?" She asked leaning in and Chloe gave her a chuckle and a playful push.

"You're such a dork. But if you're asking, the answer is yes. It will always be a yes." Chloe smiled then kissing Beca softly.

"Ewwww." Charlie said coming into the room, making the two women to break apart and laugh.

"What do you mean ewww?" Beca teased as she picked him up, giving him raspberries on his stomach, and making him laugh.

"You get cooties by kissing!" He yelled as Beca continued to tickle. She stopped and picked him up, sitting him on her lap.

"Now who told you that?" She talked in a playful voice, only meant for him.

"My fwiend Jake. He say dat when gwown ups kiss dey get cooties."

"He did?!" She asked animatedly and he nodded his head. She looked over at Chloe, who was just watching the two interact with adoring eyes. "Well, I don't have cooties. Chloe do you have cooties?"

"Nope! I made sure the doctor gave me the cootie shot sooo I could give Charlie all the kisses I want." She grabbed him giving him kisses all over his face, once again making him break out into a fit of giggles. She didn't let up until he yelled he was going to pee his pants. That stopped her dead in her tracks, knowing that when he said that it was going to be a race for the bathroom. Chloe helped him off the couch and he went running towards the bathroom. Beca scooted closer again.

"I wouldn't mind getting your cooties." She smiled.

"Oh my God." Chloe laughed out. "You are such a dork."

"But I'm your dork."

"Yeah, you are."

They arrived at the park, Chloe and Beca walking hand in hand while Charlie walked in front of them, struggling to carry the picnic basket. Beca laughed as the little boy had to set the basket on the ground to get a better grip on it. "Buddy, you need help carrying that basket?" She asked for the third time since leaving the car.

"Nope! I got it!" He yelled back as he picked it up. Beca shook her head, chuckling, looking at Chloe.

"He is so your son, just as stubborn." She pulled Chloe by the hand bringing her closer then gave her a quick kiss. "But he is adorable like you too." She said, making Chloe smile.

"You're sweet, even if you're wearing that stupid hat." She teased pulling on the cap.

"Hey!"

"I'm teasing. You look very cute in it." She said then yelled at Charlie. "Okay bud let's sit under this tree." She chuckled as Charlie set the basket with a heavy sigh. Chloe bent down picking her son up as Beca spread out the blanket. She kissed his cheek. "Thank you Charlie for carrying the picnic basket. How did you become such a gentleman?" She asked as they sat on the blanket.

"Beca." He simply answered as he got his lion out of the bag. Beca stopped taking stuff out of the picnic basket and looked at him with a raised brow.

"What do you mean Bud?" Chloe asked and Charlie shrugged his shoulders.

"She ohways do nice fings fow us and carwy fings. You always say she sweet and I want to be sweet wike Beca." He said and Chloe's heart completely melted. She smiled as she hugged her son tightly.

"She does do nice things for us, doesn't she?" She kissed the top of his head, looking at the woman in question who had tears in her eyes from the young boy. She smiled and looked back at her son. "And I think that you are exactly like Beca, baby. You're smart and kind and the sweetest boy in the world." She pinched his cheeks and he smiled bright, hugging her. "I wove you Mommy!"

"I love you too buddy." She said back then Charlie got up and ran into Beca's arms.

"And I wove you Beca!"

"I love you Charlie." She squeezed him tight, never wanting to let him go. The three of them ate and let Charlie play for a bit before it was time for him to take a nap. When it was time for him to lie down, he wedged himself between the two women. He fell asleep quickly and Chloe took out her phone, instructed Beca to lay down snapping a picture of the three of them. She played some music and Beca realized quickly it was songs from all the flash drives.

"You're playing your songs." She said turning to her side leaning on her elbow. Chloe turned, mirroring her position.

"Of course." Chloe said smiling. "I hardly listen to anything else. I love every single one." She reached across the small space between them, taking the brunette's free hand in her own. "I'm glad that you gave me the flash drives, they make me feel closer to you, even if we weren't in each other's lives at that time." They were silent for awhile, just staring into each other's eyes. Both women couldn't believe how incredibly happy they were at this very moment.

"I still can't believe that this…us…is finally happening." Beca said softly as she continued to stare at her girlfriend. "I've dreamt about it for so long, I guess it still feels like a dream."

"Well if it is, then I don't want to wake up from it." Chloe said back just as softly. Beca looked down at their intertwined hands, taking a deep breath then looked back at Chloe.

"Chlo…I just want to let you know that meant what I said in the video, you and Charlie are my world. I know that it's really soon, but you are it for me." Beca said, swallowing hard before continuing. "You are my best friend and I've never been able to see myself with anyone else. I love you with everything I am. I always have." She didn't have time to say anything else before Chloe's lips were on hers.

"You don't know how long I've waited to hear that. I wished I had the courage to tell you how I felt back then. We would've had Charlie together and could have been happy for all these years."

"I know but we're here now though." Beca said then chuckled. "And I'm so happy I decided to drunk dial you that night." Making Chloe laugh.

"Me too."
