Drabble by prompt request: "how bout a fic where connor and abby have a new home except after they're married and one of the gang (becker, matt, or anyone) asks to stay with them for couple of days but things are bit awkward living with the newly weds, well especially connor, as a newly wed. c:"So, wrote a thing. Seriously considering making this a series, actually, wherein Becker is staying with C+A for some reason and hijinks, awkward moments, and fun bonding time happen, and Becker needs brain bleach. Anyways, enjoy!

Becker was seriously reconsidering asking Connor and Abby for a room to stay in. Not because they were inhospitable or anything like that, but simply because if he'd asked Jess, he'd be staying with the woman he loved and would be away from all… this.

'This' being the kissing and snuggling and unbearably lovey-dovey-ness of his newlywed friends. (Not to mention the walls were, unfortunately, not sound proof. No, not thinking about that).

But he couldn't complain - wouldn't say anything. They weren't doing it on purpose or anything, after all: it was their honeymoon week - they were still on call for anomaly-related emergencies, but Lester had given them time off to avoid the very things Becker had now subjected himself to - and he was intruding.

Didn't make it any less awkward, of course. For all of them.

Becker buried his face in his book as they made out in the other room, and tried to ignore it. A muffled giggle and a soft moan (that easily could've been from either of the new couple) made Becker feel like slapping himself in the face. (Which, incidentally, was flaming red.)

Yeah, he really should've asked Jess.
