i am so sorry I have been MIA I have had some family issues I have had to deal with, now I know this is super short but I felt I owed you something, after not updating for so long. The next update will be much longer.
After what felt like hours it was proberly merry half an hour, Selina finally rose her head from Tyler's shoulder with a sniffle and wiped her eyes.
"I can't believe it Ty, Bonnie can't be dead. It just can't be true" Selina muttered softly placing her pounding head into her hands. "I need to go and make sure Elena and Caroline are OK"she finished before pushing her self up and shuffling towards the bathroom to clean her face before heading out.
She left the house and climbed into her car in a daze, her brain still not really registering that one of her closest friends was dead. She pulled away from her own house and headed towards Elena's, if anything they needed each other more now then ever. Ten minutes later she pulled up outside Elena's house as she felt tears stinging the corners of her eyes.
Finally getting the courage to face the music, selina climbed from her car and headed up the pathway to Elena's front door, phasing momentarily before knocking.
She didn't have to wait long before the door was opened revealing Damon Salvatore, selina growled lowly to hersekf , what an earth was he doing here.
"What are you doing here Salvatore!" Selina snapped glaring angrily at the vampire before her, as Elena appeared from upstairs. Her eyes shining when she spotted selina, she ran down the last few steps and launched herself at selina wrapping her arms around her tightly.
"Selina I'm so glad your here! I need to tell you something" Elena said in a rushed tone before pulling her along into the living room and setting her down on the couch suddenly a look of worry and nerves flashed across her face causing selina to frown.
A"just tell me Elena. Its fine" selina smiled reassuringly squeezing her hand tightly.
"Please don't shout or be mad, because at the time I thought it to be true. Bonnie isn't dead, it was a ploy to trick Klaus" Elena rushed twitching slightly under Selina's steely gaze.
Selina rubbed her face roughly letting Elena's words to sink in, yes she was thrilled bonnie wasn't dead but she had just spent the last hour believing her to be. Her eyes flicked to Damon as a fierce glare erupted on her face.
"This whole thing stinks of your influence" she snarled jumped to her feet and standing toe to toe with him,"why wasn't I told about this?" She snapped Damon backed up slightly a small amount of fear evident on his face, smart man selina thought to her self.
"You weren't told for the same reason no one else was, it had to be believable" Damon snapped stepped forward putting himself and selina once again toe to toe.
"Guys please don't fight, its not the time. Damon do you mind? I really need to talk to selina" Elena muttered walking to Selina's side.
"Oh no not at all, if you ask really nicely she might even tell you about her secret rondevouz" damon smirked looking straight at selina who glared right back, no way was she backing down from him.
"Damon! Leave!" Elena snapped wiping the smirk from his face, he growled softly when she saw selina waving him off with a smirk of her own. Once he was gone elena turned on selina with a grin.
"Spill!" She demanded. Selina's eyes widened slightly she had to think on her toes there was no way she could tell Elena about Elijah, could she? She glanced at one of the closet friends and properly her most trustworthy, she sighed in defeat she was going to tell elena about elijah.
"OK I will tell you, but for now I need your word that you won't say anything to anyone even stefan?" Selina muttered ,she sighed when elena nodded her head eyes wide with antisipation. Selina took a deep breath then turned her body to face elena.
"It was me" she sighed softly ,smiling at the confused look on Elena's face. " it was me who woke Elijah"she continued quietly, though the look on Elena's face told her she'd been heard.
"Why? We had him where we wanted him" elena questioned a look of shock on her face.
"Well it started as protection, none of us are capable of taking on an original alone. I knew the only chance we had was Elijah, so I got you all out of the Salvatore house so I could get him out with no trouble" selina sighed laying her head on the back of the couch.
"Wait you said it started as just protection, so what it is now? Elena asked timidly
Selina sighed softly and closed her eyes tightly she knew this was coming but she wasn't sure she could answer but she had to, she had told elena she'd explain.
"I fell in love with him Elena, a love he returns whole heartedly. I surpose you could call it a forbidden love" selina continued her eyes darted around landing everywhere but Elena.
It was Elena's next move that caught selina totally off guard, she threw her arms around the werewolf tightly and squeezed.
"As long as you are happy selina that's all that matters to me" elena whispered into Selina's ear.
Selina breathed a sigh of relief and wrapped her own arms around elena hugging her just as tightly, she had no idea where she would be without her friends.
