"Chuck, leave some of the fun for us." Ivy said with a frown. "I'm ready to destroy these wimps."
"Alright, I always enjoy watching you work, and that new card is definitely suited for you." Chuck said before walking off the arena.
"I don't know why you're so quick to insult your opponents, but I promise I will defeat you and your monsters." Paul said.
"Keep talking old man." Ivy said.
"Duel." said Paul and Ivy simultaneously.
Ivy 4000 Paul 4000: "I'll start, and I'll let you in on a secret, this is my favorite deck, I start with a facedown and summon Amazoness Swordswoman in attack mode." Ivy said. "That ends my move."
"Amazoness monsters, interesting, I think I'll start with two facedown cards, and activate my Temple of the Kings field spell." Paul said. "Now I think I'll end my turn there."

"What do you think Shawn, can he win?" Diana asked.
"I'm not sure, but I have a feeling he'll do everything he can." Shawn said.
"I hope it's enough, these guys are awful." Diana said.
"I know, I know." Shawn said.

"Looks like we lucked out." Yusei said.
"What do you mean Yusei?" Leo asked.
"Simple, we're about to see another one of those XYZ monsters, which means we can devise a counter to it." Jack said.
"That makes sense, so we know two of the three which means we can take them down." Luna said. "That's a huge advantage."
"True, but all of our dragons have been played so it only evens the field." Akiza said.
"Well, all we can do is watch." Yusei said.

"My move, and I summon to the field my Amazoness Fighter and next I play my Nightmare Steel Cage magic card." Ivy said. "Now neither of us can attack until you end your turn two more times."
"Alright, I take it you plan on summoning another of your new creatures in that time." Shawn said.
"Wow, is it that obvious?" Ivy asked sarcastically while ending her turn.
"My move, I set this card facedown, and next I activate my Embodiment of Apophis trap." Shawn said as his monster appeared. "That ends my move, one more turn and your cage is destroyed."
"If you last that long, I draw, and now I can summon my Amazoness Chain Master, and you know what's next, I overlay level four Amazoness Fighter, Amazoness Swordswoman and Amazoness Chain Master, in order to XYZ summon my new card, Amazoness Deity." Ivy said as a glowing woman wearing a lion skin appeared on the field.
"That card is rather impressive, would you indulge me asking what it can do?" Paul asked.
"Well, you'll have to wait until I can attack." Ivy said with a smirk. "Speaking of which, I set one card and end my turn, so next round I can strike you down with my Amazoness Deity."
"If your monster can manage that, I activate Cup of Sealed Soul, and Seal of Serket, in order to call my Mystical Beast Serket to the field in attack mode, next I switch Embodiment of Apophis into defense mode." Paul said. "That ends my move and frees our monsters from this cage."
"Well, you should know that was a mistake, I draw." Ivy said. "Now I use the special ability of Amazoness Deity, I remove one overlay unit to summon an Amazoness monster from my deck, and I choose my Amazoness Archer, next I summon Amazoness Trainee. Now I sacrifice my Deity and my Trainee to deal you 1200 points of damage."
"You're tributing your best monster?" Paul asked when suddenly a glow surrounded Mystical Beast Serket and destroyed it.
"Oh, did I forget to mention, as long as it has an overlay unit, my Amazoness Deity is able to transfer any effect that would send it to the graveyard to a different monster, so now I attack your Embodiment of Apophis with Amazoness Deity and attack directly with my Amazoness Archer. That ends my move." Ivy said.
Ivy 4000 Paul 1400: "I'm impressed, your dealing powerful combos, but I'm not defeated yet." Paul said.
"Oh, well I'll have to fix that, activate trap card, Amazon Ambush, this forces me to skip my next turn, but in exchange I can attack you directly with a monster on my field, Amazoness Diety wipe out the last of this loser's life points." Ivy said.
"I admit defeat, you're a good duelist." Paul said.
"Of course I am, why else would I be here?" Ivy snapped. "Look, we're only one round away from winning, so just clam up."
"I was only offering a piece of friendly advice." Paul said. "If you don't want it I won't force you."

"Wow, this is insane, those monsters are awesome." Lily said happily.
"Yeah, but they don't scare you do they Lily?" Ryan asked.
"Nope, I'm going to win." Lily said.
"Well we need to win another duel first." Robert said with a smile.
"Ok, I'm first alright." Lily said.
"Ok, just remember losing isn't the end of the world." Ryan said.
"I know, I just want to have fun." Lily said excitedly.

"What do you think Yusei, can these monsters possibly be defeated?" Crow asked.
"I don't know Crow, but if there is a way, we need to find it." Yusei said.
"Well right now we need to get through to the next round." Jack said. "I'll take the lead, it's a good thing I know these cards just as well as my own."
"Don't get overconfident Jack, remember just because you know a deck doesn't mean you win every duel." Crow said.
"Don't worry about a thing, I'll handle it with ease." Jack said.
"That's why Jack's awesome, he always is so confident and determined, I know he can win." Leo said.
"I don't know, those guys are good, this is going to be a close one, I can tell." Luna said.
"Well, in that case the duel will be more fun." Leo said.
"Leo, you can calm down you know." Akiza said.
"No way, this is going to be a great match." Leo said with a grin.
