Chapter 20

Leonis peered his head from behind a corner in one of the stone covered hallways before he looked back at his sister and whispered, "Come on let's go. I don't see any Sharpclaw in hallway either."

"Ok, so where do you think they want anyway?" The Princess asked, as the two began to walk down the hallway again.

After the two young nobles had turned yet another corner the anthro fox replied back with, "To be honest I haven't a clue where they went. But at least this works to our advantage since we won't have to worry about being caught and forced back to that holding room we were in."

"Yeah I guess that's one good thing." The Hylian girl said agreeing with her brother. But once the two had ended a room with a dead end to it she continued with, "Um, well I guess there isn't anything in this room either. Should we look in this room? Or should we go and find another room?"

Right after she had said this though the two quickly turned around when they heard the large door to the room slam shut. Steel bars then went over the door and upon seeing this the teal eyed prince let out, "Well, that isn't a good sign. I wonder how we'll get out of this room now."

Once he had said this though the brown and white furred anthro's right ear twitched when he heard the sound of a portal opening and then closing. And when he had turned around he saw Neil standing at the other end of room as he told them, "I'm afraid that the only way you two will be able to leave this room is if you defeat me."

"So all we have to do is kill you huh?" Leonis said, while he put a hand in front of his sister. The prince then went on with, "If that's the case then let's just make this a one on one fight. I don't want my sister to get involved."

A smirk spread across the orange and purple eyed vulpine when he responded back with, "I had a feeling you were going to say that. But that's alright since I wouldn't want to bring any harm to the princess anyway."

"Stop trying to act like your a good guy to my sister. Besides I wouldn't want her to get involved with whatever sick games you've been trying to play." The prince growled out, anger clear in his voice.

"You think I've just been playing some kind of game this whole time. You truly are naïve." Neil countered, as he started to form a ball of magic in his hand. Once he had done this he pointed it at the anthro fox noble and added, "But let's be honest once I get rid of you your opinion won't matter. And then I'll be the only one who will be protecting your little sister from now on."

Leonis's eyes widen when he saw the black armored anthro throw the ball of magic towards him at a very fast speed. Before the prince could react though he soon felt a pair of hands as they pushed him out of the way of the blast. And when he looked behind him he saw his sister smiling at him before the ball of magic hit her in the stomach sending her flying a good distance away from him. The young fox let out a gasp of shock before he shouted, "Zelda!" He then sharply turned around and added, "How dare you hurt my sister! You'll pay for what you did!"

"I…you're sister getting hurt was never my intention." Neil replied with sadness clear in his voice. Soon after that though his expression darken as he went on with, "However, what I end up doing to do you won't be an accident."

Zelda continued to glare at the vixen that was across from her as she asked, "Do you still truly believe that Ganondorf will help you?"

"Of course I still believe that he'll help me." Krystal answered back, as she looked away from the brunette. She then placed her right hand over her left shoulder and went on with, "You just don't understand him the way I do. His isn't as evil as what you make him out to be."

Hearing this prompted the Queen of Hyrule to take a few steps forward when she said, "You can't honestly mean all of that? Ganondorf can easily manipulate anyone he comes across with saying the right words that could pre sway said person onto his side. His not only evil, but very cunning when it comes to trying to accomplish his own goals." She then looked down at the vixen's left hand and stared at the Triforce of Wisdom and continued with, "And since you have been in possession of the Triforce of Wisdom for a while now. I am certain you know that what I am telling you is the truth."

Once she had said her peace the noblewoman was taken slightly aback when she saw Krystal remove her staff from behind her back as she let out, "And let me be honest with you. I've heard just about enough of your nonsense."

"I see. That is quite unfortunate since I did not want to fight you. But I see now that I have no other choice in the matter." Zelda replied, while she extended her hands slightly outward. She then closed her eyes and focused for a few seconds causing the shape of a sword of light to appear in front of her. And when she had opened her eyes again the light broke away revealing her rapier which she took into her right hand and brought it close to her body. She then added, "So? Shall we begin?"

"H-How did you do that? Ganondorf never told me about you knowing a summoning spell like that." The purple eyed fox stuttered, as she began to slowly walk around the room.

The noblewoman followed her movements as she countered with, "I'm sorry to tell you this. But I learned that type of magic a few years after Ganondorf had been sent away from here. So of course he would not be aware of it."

"Hmm, I guess that sense. But it doesn't matter because once I defeat you then it will prove which one of us is superior at using magic." Krystal proclaimed, before she started to charge forward.

Seeing this did not faze Zelda as she proceeded to put her sword into a guarding position before she responded back with, "If this what you truly want. Then so be it."

A/N: Yahoo another chapter done. Although I won't lie I do hope it doesn't seem like I'm trying to rush through this story or anything. I guess I've just been pretty motivated lately.
