Chapter 20 Little Mermaid Visitor
Pearl Piari
A few days after the whole haunted house incident, Xylon went outside doing little recon while now Daylix wearing her civilian attire walking on the hallway nothing to do when she hear Hanon voice came from Lucia's room. She enters and saw Lucia sitting near the table holding a book while Hippo is on the table and Hanon lying on Lucia's bed, "Is something wrong?..." The young nobody asked, "I heard noises…"
"Nothings wrong, Daylix." Lucia assured Daylix, "it's just Hano-.." she was about to say something but Hanon quickly got closed to the young nobody and grabs both of her hands while saying, "Daylix-chan!, perfect timing?!….."
"Huh?..." Daylix with a puzzled expression wondering why Hanon suddenly got closed to her, the latter said with sparkly eyes, "Now you're here can we visit other worlds? "
"""What?!""" The young nobody's eyes widen in shocked by Hanon's sudden request so does Lucia and Hippo. "Please!, Daylix-chan! Please! Please !..." The blue mermaid said with pleading eyes, "I'm bored! I have nothing to do and I can't see Taro-chan!"
"Hanon-san!, you can't demand such thing to Daylix-san!..."
"Yeah! Hanon!..."
Hippo and Lucia scolding her not pleased by her request but the blue mermaid princess look at the two and said, "Come on you two… Aren't you a bit curious exploring another world aside this world?…"
The pink mermaid and the penguin blink in surprise by Hanon's unexpected suggestion ever since Serix and the twins revealed their identities to them they also told them about magic and other worlds. But most interesting part they take an interest was the so called other worlds aside their world. They listen to the worlds they visited that some worlds are came from a fantasy story, thinking that one day they could visit worlds that they never seen before.
As the two was thinking about it, Hanon with begging eyes, "Well Daylix-chan?..." waiting for answers from the young nobody.
"Sorry…" Daylix shook her head, "I can't….."
"What! Why?!" Hanon widen her eyes in shocked mix with disappointment.
The young nobody shook her head again and explain, "I mean I can guide you through the dark corridor to visit other worlds but it's too risky…" that last part say it clear making Hippo asked, "Why is that, Daylix-chan?"
"Because not only nobodies can use the dark corridor so do the heartless…" she stated, "We don't know if the other worlds are infected by heartless." The two mermaids and the penguin seemed to understand as she continued explaining, "If you set foot on some random world the heartless will attack you when or where or maybe anytime considering the Mermaid Princesses' hearts are very alluring to them …."
"So we can't go…." Hanon released Daylix' hands lower her head and sighs feeling disappointed but the latter hold her hands, "Sorry…. It's for the best you're safe here and…. Maybe someday we can…." reassure her that one day they will go.
But the blue mermaid jump back to bed, "I bored!.." she wines again while hugging a pillow, "I have nothing else to do!..."
Then Daylix thought of an idea, "How about I'll transport you to Taro-san's house…." Knowing she will love to especially Taro Mitsuki is involved.
Hanon feeling ecstatic, "I love to!..." then she stopped for second and thought about Taro's duties as a teacher, "But I don't want to disturbed him maybe his busy…" poking both her pointer fingers each other feeling fidgety that she might be a bother to him.
Daylix was surprised by Hanon's reaction so does Lucia and Hippo that normally she would be onboard with it but now she is very considerate. The young nobody thought another idea, "What about mermaid fortune teller?..."
"That's right! Hanon, do you wanna try mermaid fortune teller?" Lucia agreed Daylix' suggestion in response Hanon got up, "Mermaid fortune teller?" she smiles, "Sure, let's do it!.."
Lucia got the cards from the table then place it on bed besides Hanon, "First, I'll read you future." She spreads the cards while saying, "Think of what you're feeling and shuffle the cards."
"Mermaid fortune telling is right way more often than Taki-san's." Hanon stated, "Really?" Causing Daylix to look at her with questionable eyes, "Taki-san's prediction seems accurate to me…" after seeing her twin brother's fortune come true the other month especially Serix got his twice.
"Yeah…." The blue mermaid princess said with wry smile, "Sometimes her prediction is not accurate… you learn it eventually…."
The statement makes the young nobody puzzled, "And you line up 4 cards…" while Lucia aligns and place three cards then one top of the middle one on bed, "The one above the middle is your future." She flipped the top card showing the picture of a lighthouse.
"Wow! That's the faros card!" Hippo instantly recognizes it causing the three people to look at the penguin, Lucia asked, "I think Faros means lighthouse, right?"
"Yes, the card the lighthouse, which lights the sea while spinning, signifies a fateful meeting in life." Hippo explains, "It may be someone new, or it may be an unexpected reunion."
"Oh, Hippo…"Lucia said, "There's no way Hanon would take such a predication seri…" she was about to say something but.
"It's so obvious to me." Hanon blushing holding both her hands like she was praying while staring at the ceiling, "You definitely mean the reunion of Taro-chan and myself."
"Except that she totally believes it." Lucia deadpanned with a sweat-drop, "If it involves with Taro-san… she definitely believe it…." Daylix laugh about it but at least Hanon has cheered up.
"Hey! Lucia, Hanon!"
The four of them heard Rina's voice, "That voice must be Rina-san." As Hippo said it was Rina calling from outside. All of them go down stairs to see Rina outside.
"Lucia, Hanon, are you here?"
"Rina, what's up?" Lucia along with Hanon, Hippo, and Daylix walk up to Rina .
"Hanon has a visitor." Rina said causing Hanon to be surprised that she has a visitor then the former gesture beside her while saying, "I ran into her a nearby."
Beside Rina is a girl almost the same age and height as Daylix and has short blue hair and brown eyes. She wears a light blue dress with the shoulders exposed and a pink ribbon necklace with red boots.
"Hanon-sama." The girl greeted Hanon with respect causing the latter instantly recognizes her, "Meru!"
While the blue mermaid princess was surprised, the young nobody staring at the girl felt a faint of dark wave of energy.
Pearl Piari- Lucia's Room
Serix was in the room with Lucia and Rina, since they called him over after work. The twins aren't here but they're helping Nikora at the kitchen while Hanon is at her room tending her guest.
"So why do you call me here?, Lucia" Serix leaning on the wall while asking.
"We have a visitor from the South Atlantic Ocean.." Lucia replied causing the long black haired nobody to raise a brow thinking it might be another mermaid.
She turns her attention to Rina, who was staring through the window, "Say, Rina, Hanon's kingdom was in the South Atlantic Ocean, right?"
The green mermaid answered, "Yeah, It was attacked by Gaito and destroyed." She stares on the sea recalling some bitter memories, "Just like my kingdom in the North Atlantic."
Seeing that expression, Serix could tell that it was a tragic event of what happened to her kingdom and her people it might be the same goes for Hanon.
"Rina…" She couldn't help but felt sorry about happened to her two friends despite her kingdom suffered only minimum damage but their kingdoms were destroyed. Feeling pity of what already happened then she thought of something, "Hey, Rina, why don't you spend the night here?"
"I should. Once in a while." Rina agreed to her friend's suggestion.
"How about you Serix?..."
"Now that I'm here sure why not…." Serix also agreed but when Lucia told him about the guest he quickly detect her presence earlier inside Hanon's room and also felt a small wave of dark energy from her that caught his attention.
"Lucia, Rina-chan, Serix-kun, we're starting the surprise party." Nikora along with the twins enters, "Let's go the restaurant."
The three of them nodded and went down stairs for the surprise party for Meru. Nikora, Lucia, and Rina went ahead while three nobodies followed behind them.
"Serix about our guest…" Daylix whispered in a low tone.
"I know….." Serix nodded in confirmation.
"What should we do?..." Xylon asked considering when he got back from recon he also felt that from the guest.
He assured the twins while saying, "For now…. let's keep an eye on her and see what happens….." the twins nodded in response as the three of them headed for the party for our welcome guest.
Pearl Piari- Restaurant
After she finished taking a bath Hanon told her to go down stairs to the restaurant when she finished, "Hanon-sama… umm, where are you?" Meru looking around but couldn't see anything due to the lights were out.

When the lights went on, exploding confetti flew in the air mix with light particles courtesy of Daylix. The little mermaid was taken aback by the sudden surprise welcome.
Hanon walks up to her, "Hanon-sama…" Meru still bewildered of what just happened.
"We are pleased that you have come to us from such distant waves." The blue mermaid princess bow her head lightly in front of Meru while saying, "I offer my thanks to you as the Mermaid Princess of the South Atlantic Ocean."
"Princess… Hanon-sama!" Meru was touched and bewildered by the kind hospitality.
"Meru-chan, you must be hungry from your trip." Nikora gestures to the food place on the table while saying, "Eat as much as you like."
"Go ahead. Eat up." Lucia guiding Meru to her chair, "My sister Nikora's cooking is super-delicious!"
"Sister?" The little mermaid was puzzled that she could tell that Lucia and Nikora have different facial features.
"In the human world, it's been arranged so that they're sisters." Hanon explains.
Lucia continued explaining and introducing the others to Meru, "And Taki-san there is the Pearl Oyster Fairy, the mini-hotel Pearl Piari's owner, and the resident fortune teller."
"That's Hippo. He's my chaperone." While the pink mermaid introduced the penguin but the latter walking with a plate full of sushi, "In the Human world, he's my pet."
"She's Rina, Mermaid Princess of the North Atlantic Ocean." Rina pouring some orange juice in her glass while letting Lucia do the introducing.
"And I'm Lucia, Mermaid Princess from the North Pacific Ocean." She introduces herself, "Pleased to meet you."
"Here…" Daylix placing a plate full of spaghetti to Meru.
"Have some apple pie…" Also Xylon with a plate full of apple pie placed on the table.
"Huh?" Meru was surprised by the appearance of the twins.
"It's nice to meet you, I'm Xylon…"
"And I'm Daylix…."
The twins introduced themselves to Meru then Lucia added, "This two are assign by Aqua Regina-sama as our protectors but in the human world they're names are Lyon and Lydia… "
"Aqua Regina-sama!…" Meru was really shocked that these two are protectors assign by the Sea Goddess and also they almost exact the same age as her.
"And lastly he's Serix.." Lucia introducing her to Serix whom the latter responded with a two finger salute, "Like Xylon and Daylix he is also our protector…. In the humans world his name is Reis…"
"They're all important people who help me out." Hanon said with a smile to assure her, "So, Meru… feel comfortable, okay?"
"The Blue Pearl, Green Pearl, and Pink Pearl Mermaid Princesses are all here with me." The little mermaid ecstatic, "I'm so excited!" feeling excited the three mermaid princesses here to welcome her.
As the party went on, the three nobodies decide to entertain Meru with their powers. Xylon doing realistic shadow puppets, Daylix letting light particles flew in the air and making makeshift crown made of light for Meru, and Serix fire juggling and making welcome sign letter made of fire.
Causing the little mermaid to be mesmerized by their abilities but unbeknownst to her the three Nobodies were observing her thinking that she is just an innocent visitor.
Pearl Piari- Room
After the party, Serix decided to help out with the cleaning then after that everyone went to bed. Lying on bed, Serix observe his surroundings which he instantly recognizes that this is the same room he used when he was in a coma for a few days.
Staring at the ceiling while thinking about their guest the little blue mermaid name Meru. From his perspective she is just an innocent little kid who holds the mermaid princess Hanon in high regard. But there is one thing he learned in his past experience was never judge a person through his or her appearance no matter how innocent he or she is.
Their many theories in his mind right now like Meru is just a pawn to get to Hanon thinking back his time in the organization they tend to use pawns to their advantage and Lexia is no different. Back then Lexia was sometimes lazy of doing missions so she finds some potential pawns to do her dirty work but he thought about it she only picks pawns that were suited for the task so sending a little girl is not her style considering so only leaves now either Gaito or the water demons.
After thinking about it he got up from bed and look at the clock it's already 10 PM. The teen nobody sighs that he was speculating so much that he forgot that he has work tomorrow and now he couldn't sleep so engulfed himself in darkness then vanished.
Beachside
Near the hotel sitting on a rock Serix staring at the moon and sea. Despite being a nobody it helps him to be calm and relax and also to clear his mind of things.
After his mind feeling relaxed thinking that things will reveals in time as he was about to leave, he sense a presence and turn to his left side and say Hanon sitting alone not very far from him. Thanks to his wide range vision he could tell Hanon's expression that she was thinking the tragedies that happened to her kingdom just like Rina's.
Sitting alone, Hanon stares while holding Morning Moon Music Box on her lap thinking about her kingdom and her people. Recalling that event feeling guilt wrapped around her heart that she survived and leaving everyone behind even though they want her to escaped to prevent the enemy from capturing her.
She closed her eyes, 'I'll find you, no matter what.'
"Thinking about everyone you left behind….."
"Ah!..."
The blue mermaid princess was surprised nearly jumped as she turn around saw Serix standing behind her not wearing his contact lens showing his natural crimson blood eyes, "Serix!? When did you?" considering he never notice him.
"I've been here get some fresh air before you came in…." He walks up standing beside her while saying, "Watching the moonlight shinning down the sea makes me calm…"
"Yeah…" Hanon agreed but from the tone of her voice trail of thinking something else which he could tell what it is.
"It's not your fault that you're the only one survived…." He suddenly said causing the blue mermaid princess to be surprise that he knows what she was thinking, The former staring at the moon while saying, "You're the Mermaid Princess of the Atlantic Ocean and you're people did what they can to protect you…"
"But still!..." Hanon was about to argued but he beat her to it by saying, "I've seen Kingdoms rise and fall from other worlds…. But the most important thing is what's within the castle walls.." telling about his experience about what he saw especially about kingdoms and etc.
The long black haired nobody said to her straight in the eyes, "The girl Meru….. I can tell from her expression that she really look up to you.. And went so far to go up her in the surface looking for you all by herself despite her age…" Hanon listen to his words which find meaning behind it, "The same goes for your people they really admired you and willing to protect you at all cause…."
"That little mermaid had a lot of faith in you and so do you're people…" He stated in an assuring tone to the blue mermaid, "So it's time for you to have faith in them that they survived and waiting for you… Castles can be rebuilt and all that matters are the people in it are alive and well with they're mermaid princess…"
Hanon understood what he said and means, "I see… Thanks Serix…." She brightens up and nodded then she looks at the sea with determination in her eyes intent on finding her people. As Serix said all she has to do is have faith in them.
Gaito's Castle
Yuri went out from the throne room in a good mood while holding a black sea shell on her hands having another brilliant scheme to capture the mermaid princess which definitely succeed this time.
As the water demon about to head out, "So this is your next plan, right?"
She freaked out and nearly jumped by the sudden voice that spoke to her, when she look at her right side and saw Lexia with her hood on and holding a black sea shell.
The green haired water demon instantly recognizes the black sea shell on Lexia's hand, "Ah! When did you?!..." the water demon shouted while pointed the sea shell on Lexia's hand, she didn't realize that Lexia swipe it out from her hands without notice.
The female nobody staring at the sea shell on her hands, "I sense little bit of magic in it…." Indeed she felt a wave of dark energy even though it's weak, She turn her gaze towards Yuri and ask, "But are sure it will help you capture the mermaid princesses?…"
"I'm sure!..." Yuri said with confidents in her voice, "This time my plan will succeed!..."
That statement causing Lexia frown and raise a brow under her hood recalling all the water demons or the so called dark lovers failures, "Really?... You said that the last time about your so called haunted house plan…." Then her tone become dark, "Which ended up a failure…."
"!..." The green haired water demon felt a cold chill right down her spine as she stares at the hooded women's icy glare. Feeling the sense of danger but her whole body can't move as if like one glares from this woman in front of her cause to freeze her movements like ice.
!...
"Here…." Lexia handed over the black sea shell back to Yuri, causing the latter to be surprise by the sudden change of attitude in response she took back what's hers then the female nobody snapped her fingers then something appeared standing behind her is red dragon like creature almost three times her size with wings as arms and only two legs and it's noticeable features is yellow eyes and a heartless emblem on its chest.
The green haired water demon was marveled by the creature's sudden appearance, Lexia introduce it to her, "This is a Wyvern heartless you might need some extra hands… or wings which ever you prefer…. good luck Yuri-chan! …."
When Lexia left leaving only the Wyvern heartless in front for her to command, "!.." But the latter fell on her knees trying to catch her breath, "Lexia…. She's dangerous!..." from the moment the hooded woman entered their castle, she along the other dark lovers felt she couldn't be trusted but their master Gaito trusted considering her powers far beyond that they couldn't compete and the only one who could fight Serix and his two other friends.
She shook her head to forget about it but right now she needs to focus on her plan. "Come! Heartless…" Yuri said in a commanding tone which in response the Wyvern obediently oblige as both of them head out.
When Lexia enters the throne room, "You could just help her you know….." Gaito said overhearing their conversation while moving some chess pieces.
"I did….. by giving her heartless to command just like the others…." The female hooded nobody shrugged it off without a care if Yuri succeeds or not.
"But if you were there with them all the time they might have a chance to….." As Gaito about to say something, "It's they're misfortune that they never think things ahead… I gave them some advice, heartless to command, and what they do is up to them….. I guess they're just idiots.." Lexia retorted while sighing and stating, "Considering I'm a very busy woman you know…"
"I see you haven't found it…" The Pantharassa Prince understood that last statement that she hasn't found it which can help him for his conquest.
She explains while sighing, "Considering I can only send a limited amount of heartless…." While explaining she snaps her fingers a couple of shadow heartless appear then snap again to disappear her lips turn to a wicked smile, "If I could find it then you have a horde of heartless to command…."
"I'm looking forward to it…." Gaito smiles that he has to be patient for a while that everything will go his way with her by his side, "!..." Then he saw her hand grabs the black queen chess piece and move it next to the white king while saying, "I think that's checkmate….." The Pantharassa Prince was taken aback by surprise as he didn't see that coming as he turn around and saw Lexia disappears.
Beachside
The next day Serix went ahead due to work related at the restaurant, Hanon left without a word, and Rina went back to her apartment to get change. Now Lucia, Meru, Xylon, and Daylix went to the beach.
"Where the heck did Hanon go?" Lucia wondered where her fellow mermaid princess went without telling her.
"Before she left she said 'I'm going to the beach…'….." Daylix said considering that she was the first to wake up in the morning and saw Hanon in time to go out.
Xylon looking around and sensing, "Then she might be here somewhere…."
"I think she's probably in the ocean." Meru said causing the three two look at her. "Meru-chan, how'd you know that?" Lucia was first to asked.
But she couldn't get an answer because right now the little mermaid deep on thought, 'After all, Hanon-sama keeps her promises….Even now, she must be searching for my mommy….'
Unbeknownst to her the twin nobodies were keeping a keen eye on her observing anything strange about her. The former look up and notice Lucia turning her head from left to right, 'Why is the Pink Pearl Mermaid Princesses so fidgety?'
Looking at the ocean waves and saw someone surfing on the waves, "Ah! There he is!" She instantly recognizes the surfer was none other than Kaito, "Kaito! Kaito!" She calls out his name while waving her hands, "Hey, Kaito!"
Seeing Lucia's reaction towards the human surfer, Meru with disapproving look, 'What? She's a Mermaid Princess, yet she's infatuated with a human boy?'
"That's Doumoto-san, he goes the same school with the mermaid princesses…" Xylon whispered to Meru then Daylix added, "And Lucia-san is in love with him…"
"What!" Meru was shocked by that revelation and the same time it all makes sense.
After done riding on some waves, Kaito walk up to them, "Hey, Lucia, Lyon, Lydia." He greeted them then turns his gaze to the blue haired little girl beside them who is still looking at him with disapproval, "Who's this?"
"This is Meru." Lucia introducing Meru to him, "She's Hanon's childhood friend here for summer vacation."
"I'm Doumoto Kaito, Lucia's friend." In response Kaito greeted the little girl in a kind manner, "Pleased to meet ya."
"Charmed, I'm sure." She dismisses looks away from him with sarcasm. The twins notice her expression which they could tell that she doesn't like Kaito.
"What's with that? You seem down." Kaito kneel down a bit and said with a wink, "You'd be cuter if you smiled."
"!.." That compliment causing Meru to blush.
"See ya later." He was about to go home, "Kaito, going home already?" Lucia asked.
"It's 'cause I came before eating breakfast." He stated, "I'll grab a bite and come back….See ya." With that he left,"Kaito, wait a minute." Lucia ran after him to catch up, "Kaito!"
"And there she goes….."
"This happens when Kaito-san is around…."
Xylon and Daylix sigh at Lucia forgetting that they were here searching for Hanon but the pink mermaid ran off to go after Kaito.
Seeing Lucia left them, Meru in thought, 'Even though she's a princess, she's all tickled about a human boy, and even following him home…hmph' she turn around and walk away.
The twins look and saw Meru walking away, "Hey! Meru…." Xylon ran up to her along with Daylix, "Wait up!... "
"That Lucia girl, How shameless!" Meru complain and showing some disdain toward the pink mermaid princess.
"What makes you say that?..." Daylix asked
"Can she really be a Mermaid Princess?" she said still furious of what she saw earlier.
"Well she has the pink pearl with that count?..." Xylon stated while scratching the back of his head.
"Compared to her, our Hanon-sama is absolutely perfect." The little mermaid said with confidence about the person she admires.
"Don't be too sure about that." Daylix said causing Meru to look at her, "No one is perfect Meru…. A wise man said that every person has his or her flaws even the mermaid princesses…" she stated then her twin brother added with a snicker, "Like Lucia…. Despite being mermaid princesses she is a bit of an airhead…"
"But Hanon-sama is perfect…" Meru retort with confidence knowing that Hanon is different compare to Lucia, "I know she'll fulfill my wish."
"Speaking of Hanon… " Daylix stopped so does Xylon while saying "We sense her….." the twins senses Hanon is somewhere near.
Causing Meru to be surprise, "Where!?..." She asked in response the twins lead the way where Hanon is.
Upon arriving they saw the blue mermaid princess in her human form sitting on a boulder not far from here, "Oh! Look they're she is…" Xylon pointed his finger where Hanon and notice she is not alone, "Looks like Taro-san is here…"the twins instantly recognizes Taro Mitsuki despite his presence is similar to the superior.
Three of them hid behind one of the boulders, Meru was still staring at Hanon's expression and couldn't believe what she just see, 'No way. I've never seen Hanon-sama so happy.' She gritted her teeth, 'It can't be. Even Hanon-sama is obsessed with a human?' while holding the black shell on her left hand tightly.
"''!..'"' Xylon and Daylix sense it and turn and saw Meru holding a black shell, 'That black shell…' they sense a faint of dark energy in that shell.
"Sensei, when your song is finished, will you let me be the first to hear it?" Hanon suggested wanting to be the first person to hear his music, "When I listen to your songs, it makes me feel better." She couldn't help that listening to his music is very soothing which that's the part she loves about him so much.
"Okay, it's a promise." Taro agreed to his students promised as he lend his hand to her while saying, "Now… that's dangerous, so come down."
"Sure!" Hanon was about to go down, "Eh!.." her foot accidently slip and fall.
!...
"Look out!" Taro extends his arms and manages to catch Hanon. The latter stares at the former's face while blushing.
Seeing that Meru was dejected, "Hanon-sama, did you secretly come out here just to meet with that man?" upon seeing that proves what she saw is true, "And I thought you were searching for my mommy…..That's terrible. Just terrible!..."
The black sea shell on Meru's hand releasing a wave of magic energy which the twins felt it, "Meru…. That shell what is that?…" Daylix was about to ask her but the little mermaid ran off and left before she could say anything, "Meru wait!…"
"Wait sis!" Xylon halted his twin sister while saying, "I have an idea… "
All alone on the beach thinking about what she just saw, "Hanon-sama is exactly the same as that Lucia person." She muttered mix with distain from the tone of her voice, "She's more concerned about her own romance than the Blue Mermaids." She shook her head, "I've had it! I don't care about any princess who won't help look for mommy."
Meru run towards the ocean and dive in it determine to find her mother on her own.
After she left two figures appeared out of thin air making their selves visible was none other than Xylon and Daylix wearing their black coats.
"Right! Now is our chance to follow her.."
"Yeah!..."
Xylon and Daylix making themselves invisible again thanks to the latter's light base abilities then go after Meru to see what's going on with the little mermaid.
Upon arriving to a small island, Meru submerge and blowing the black sea shell like a whistle.
As a queue Yuri appeared on top of a small cliff sitting on top of it laughing, "Well, have you found your kingdom's Blue Pearl Mermaid Princess?" she asked knowing why the little mermaid is here.
"I did, I'll gladly give that girl to you, so please find mommy." Meru answered without hesitation that right now she is desperate to find her mother and that all that matters.
The water demon just laughs at the little mermaid's desperation to find her mother, "If you do what I ask, I'll certainly keep my promise." She stated making a deal to an innocent mermaid whom she is taking advantage, "That is, if you bring the Mermaid Princess here."
Meru holding the black shell on her hand knowing there is no other way.
Behind one of the boulders, Xylon and Daylix overheard their conversation. "Meru is in cahoots with that water demon Yuri…" Xylon deduce then Daylix added, "More like she is using her to get to Hanon…" she could tell from they're conversation that Yuri is taking advantage of Meru desperation to find her mother.
"We should tell the others!" The twins engulf themselves in black mist and then vanish.
Maki's Restaurant
Serix was busy with the tables and waiter duties until he noticed Rina entered and he could tell from her expression she is looking for someone. Seeing that all the customers already had their orders he walks up to the green mermaid princess.
Rina saw Serix walking up to her, "Reis!..." addressing him his alias considering their a lot of people in the restaurant.
Serix greeted her, "Hey there Rina Is there something I can help you with?..."
"Have you seen Meru?..." she asked. The long black haired nobody recalled what he saw on the beach not far from here, he answered, "The last time I saw her she's with Lucia, Lyon, and Lydia on the beach…"
Then he notice her expression which he could guess what it is, "You notice something strange about that little mermaid didn't you?..."
"How!..." She was surprise that he also notice something suspicious about Meru. He winks his left eye with a smile, "I told you before that a very observant….." he stated, "The twins also notice it that's why I ask the them to keep an eye on her.."
"I see thanks…" Rina expressing her gratitude knowing nothing get passed the three nobodies and glad that they're on their side she was about to leave.
"Wait I'll come along with you." Serix suggested, "I just need to ask Maki-san's permission first.."
Beachside
After going with Kaito she immediately got back and saw Meru and the twins are not around, looking around while saying, "Where did Meru, Xylon, and Daylix go?"
"Lucia."
She heard a familiar voice and saw Rina ran up to her along with Serix, "Rina, Serix?"
"Where'd Meru go?"Rina asked causing Lucia to notice something is up which she asked, "Rina, is something up with Meru?"
"Don't you sense something strange about that Meru girl?..." Rina stated that ever since she found the girl she could tell something was off about her.
Serix sighs that Lucia and Hanon were oblivious about Meru except for Rina whom she manages to guess something strange about her.
"Guys!"
The three of them heard and saw the twins wearing their coats ran up to them.
"Xylon, Daylix where you've been?" Serix asked
"There is something you should know…"
"It's about Meru…"
The twins told them about Meru working with Yuri to get Hanon in exchange to find her mother. Lucia and Rina were shocked and disgust at Yuri for using Meru while Serix remain calm and tell them they should go.
After Taro left Hanon standing on the boulder and dive to the ocean as she submerge in her mermaid form, "That was surprising." She flushes in enthusiasm while both hands holding her cheeks, "To be embraced so passionately by Taro-chan all of a sudden!" thinking especially getting closed with Taro was exhilarated feeling, "My heart's still pounding."
She stops for a minute and saw a sea lion coming towards. The sea lion submerge 'arf' three times telling Hanon which she understood, "Okay, thanks….If you find out anything more, let me know, okay?..."
The sea lion understood and dive back. Then a flock of seagulls pass by Hanon, "I'm counting on all of you, too!" she waves her hand towards the birds, then she recalls Mery's mother with teary eyes, "The South Atlantic Ocean is far, but I'll surely find you… so wait for me. Okay, you guys?" she closed her eyes hoping she could find her and the rest of the blue mermaids.
"Hanon-sama."
Meru's voice enters her ears, she open her eyes and saw Meru swimming towards her, "Meru! Let's go somewhere after we eat breakfast." She suggested while thinking about going in Maki's restaurant, "The human world has a ton of fun places to go." She reaches out her hand towards the little blue mermaid.

In response Meru slap Hanon's hand in rejection, "Meru?" The latter was surprise by her action.
"I don't… want to go!" Meru glares hostile towards the blue mermaid princess then gape at the black sea shell holding her hand shaking with tears drizzling down from her eyes, "Hanon-sama, living in this joyful human world, you've forgotten all about the Mermaid Kingdom, haven't you?"
Seeing Meru crying, "What happened, Meru?" Hanon asked wondering what happened to her while she was gone.
"You got a crush, and Princess friends….You must be bursting with joy." The little mermaid angrily stated still tears falling down on her cheeks, "That's why you've lost interest in searching for our people….I can't believe I expected anything from such an irresponsible person."
"I haven't forgotten about our kingdom's people for even one day." Hanon said after living the human world she still hasn't forgotten her duties as the mermaid princess, "I'm sure we'll find your mommy, too." said with an assuring tone.
"What a lie!" Meru angrily retorted, "I'm going to have a water demon find my mommy….Stupid Princess!..." she swims away towards a small island like rock.
"Meru! Wait!" Hanon followed and try to reason her. As she was about to catch up to her, "!..." a whirlpool surrounding her preventing her from escaping then a huge shadow overshadowing her from above, when she looks up and horrified that she saw a huge red wing creature with and heartless emblem on its chest.
The wyvern heartless hovering in the air above the mermaid princess then descends extending its right black talons, "!.." in a instance it grabs the mermaid princess and ascend back to the air.
"Ahh!..." Hanon screams that the heartless holding her tightly.
"Well done. You're pretty smart."
When she heard Yuri's voice she look down and saw Yuri with her grand piano and beside her is Meru. "Meru, why are you with Yuri?" She asked while still wiggling to try to escaped the heartless talon.
But all she got in response was a look of contempt from the little mermaid, "How does it feel to be betrayed by a friend?" Yuri winks her eye at her and mocking manner, "You did great, Meru-chan." She places her hands on Meru's shoulders while commending for the latter's cooperation, "But you should forget about your mother."
That statement cause Meru to be shocked and accidentally drop the black sea shell broke into two, "I'm totally not gonna waste my time looking for your mommy."
"No! That's cruel. You promised!" Meru tried to plead but Yuri walk away and sit beside hear piano and began playing it.
The Eerie melody enters both the blue mermaids ears, "Ahh!..." Meru covers her ears suffering the effects of the sound.
"S-Stop that!" Hanon covered her ears as well also being affected by the Yuri's music. Suddenly four water like tentacles rise from the water and constricted Meru. "Ah!.." The little mermaid still suffering from the music and didn't see it coming.
"Heartless take her!..." The green haired water demon ordered the wyvern heartless which in response it extended its left talon and grabbed her.
Seeing Meru being taken as well, Hanon couldn't take it anymore, "Hey. I'm the one you want….Let Meru go!"
"Hanon-sama…", Meru look at Hanon despite everything the blue mermaid princess is willing to give herself up in order to free her.
"That won't do." Yuri refuses, "Gaito-sama is excited about adding to his mermaid collection." She began laughing over her futile effort negotiation.
!...
"Ouch!.." She felt the pain from her hands when the piano's fail board slams on top of it.
"It's irritating to everyone's ears every time you play you're piano…"
Hearing that familiar mocking voice again causing Yuri to flinch, she turns her head right and saw standing near her was none other than Serix.
"Pink Pearl Voice!" "Green Pearl Voice!"
Lucia and Rina changes to their idol forms as they jump out of the water and landed almost near Yuri and Serix then began singing.

"Serix….Lucia… Rina!..." Hanon feeling glad that they arrived on the nick of time.

"Oh, no! The Pink and Green Pearl Mermaid Princesses!..." Yuri try to free her hands but to no avail the black hooded Serix pressing the fail board of the piano so hard giving it a tight squeeze that she wouldn't use her hands to cover her ears. The song already reaches her ears and now starting to feel the effects, "Heartless help!"

Out of nowhere a white laser beam of light and a black shadowy crescent wave hitting the wyvern heartless' wings to prevent it for attacking and now it was flapping its wings so hard to prevent from falling.

While the heartless is flapping its wings so hard it accidentally let go the two captive blue mermaids. As Hanon and Meru about to fall ""!.."" instead they were flouting by the support of light particles. Seeing the light particles Hanon saw Xylon and Daylix wearing their hoods and masks were behind Lucia and Rina.
Taking this chance "Blue Pearl Voice!" she changes to her idol form and join with the with her fellow mermaid princesses while Meru flew towards the twins to keep her out of harm's way.

"Aarrgh! You make me so mad!" Yuri exclaims in outburst, "!..." unexpectedly Serix grasp her neck and look her in the eye. Former was terrified as she stare at his eyes despite his face is mask she could see the crimson bloody red eyes glowing and glaring at her. Just like with Lexia he could petrify a person with a glare.
As Serix brings his face closer to Yuri's, the latter close her eyes scared meaning his gonna kill her. The mask nobody got close to her face and said in a cold tone, "Tell Lexia and Gaito that I'm coming for them." With that said he toss her aside on the ocean.

"Ahhh!..." Yuri scream loud as she was thrown so hard and began skipping on the water surface a few times like a pebble until she vanishes.
Now that Yuri is defeated again, "Hanon-sama…" Meru was touched by Hanon's action despite everything had done to her.

All of them heard and saw a pink dolphin swim towards them.

Xylon was astonish while Daylix was thrilled seeing a pink dolphin for the first time.

Rina and Lucia instantly recognize the pink dolphin while Hanon approach and kneel down towards the pink dolphin.

Hearing that causing Meru to widen her eyes in surprise, "Mommy's… been found?" that her mother has been found.
Pearl Piari
Now the sun is setting, in the front door outside of Pearl Piari Meru bowed while saying, "I'm sorry for causing so much trouble." Expressing her apology, "You've all done so much for me."
"But, I'm glad." Rina said in an assuring tone with a smile, "Your mother escaped to Lucia's kingdom."
"Yup." Lucia nodded.
"It's only natural for kids you're age…" Serix said in a mild manner, "Doing the craziest things in order to find their mother…."
"We're happy you didn't get hurt.."
"Yeah!"
The twins expresses that everything workout okay in the end.
"This Morning Moon Music Box…" Hanon stated while holding the blue music box on her hands, "… can only be heard by the mermaids of my kingdom…So I asked the sea creatures to find mermaids who could hear it…."
"It's surprising that Momo-chan was the one tell us." Lucia said to her friends.
"If I had kept the box, I never would guess it could do that….Amazing!..." Meru hugged Hanon while beaming a smile saying, "Hanon-sama, I do admire you, after all."
Hanon smiled back at the little mermaid so do the others around her.
Beachside
Everyone one walking down the beachside, Meru staring at the sunset on the sea a bit and look back at the group while saying, "Everyone's so wonderful….Even Lucia-sama, Rina-sama, Serix-sama, Xylon-sama, and Daylix-sama." Everyone smiled at her, "At first, I thought that…" she lower her head staring at the ground recalling back at the two humans whom Lucia and Hanon were in love with, "… Lucia-sama and Hanon-sama being in love with human males was dirty." She looks at them and said and understood, "But I learned that you Princesses can sing so beautifully because you're in love."
"Love is a source of strength, too." Rina stated, "You'll find out when it happens to you."
"Eh? Never thought we'd hear that from you." Hanon surprise by her friend's statement then Serix added, "Yeah it's quite rare for you to say it…"
"Well, sometimes." The green mermaid said despite not experiencing that feeling she could tell from her two friends of what's it's like.
"Maybe I'll try falling in love, too." Meru feeling wanted to try that kind of emotion while blushing and one person come to mind, "Maybe… Kaito-sama."
"What? In love with Kaito?" Upon hearing Kaito's name causing Lucia to panic and exclaims, "N-Not him! Anyone but him!"
Everyone laugh at Lucia reaction. With that said Meru left heading to the North Pacific Palace with Momo as her guide joining along with Xylon and Daylix to make sure that she made it to the palace safely. The mermaid princesses and Serix smiled as they watched Meru along with the twins go off into the ocean and swim away.
Seeing them left, Serix teases Lucia by saying, "Well Lucia you have another rival competing Kaito's affection…" he stated with a thoughtful expression, "Well considering his popularity with the ladies…. I say a lot of rivals…"
"What!.." Lucia exclaims in shocked by the revelation but seeing the former's reaction Serix just laugh, "What given up already!..."
"No!" The pink mermaid princess shook her head and exclaims, "Even Kaito has a lot of admirers I won't lose!…"
Seeing her eyes filled with confidence and determination, the long black haired nobody snickered in amusement, "That's the spirit Lucia!"
"You're also popular with the ladies too, Serix…." Rina said recalling back to the restaurant just like Kaito he is also popular with the ladies.
"Yeah, you should find someone you like…." Hanon nodded base from her first meeting with him, his looks and long black spiky hair could attract the opposite sex.
Serix place his right hand on his face and laugh causing the mermaids to be astonished like he was laughing at a joke, "Yeah right….. They could like and admire me all they want…" said with a sarcastic tone then turns his gaze towards them and saw he removes his contact lens showings his bloody crimson eyes, "But it's pointless because I don't have a heart to reciprocate they're feelings…"
The mermaid princesses saw his eyes were impassive and the tone of his voice were also emotionless which disturb them quite a bit, Serix chuckled, "You already know what I and the twins really are….." he turn around and leave while saying, "Later…" with that said leaving the three mermaids by themselves.
As he was going further away, the mermaid princesses continue watching him leave thinking about what Serix said to them as if he reminded them that nobodies are emotionless entities but as they continue watching him walk away all they saw is a lonely entity.
