Chapter 20: Tw-tw-tw…oh hell
By the time lunch came around Moody was sitting calmly of his own free will, with no restraints and he was still quizzing the two men who dare touch Harry. Remus was with Harry making lunch and they came back every few minutes to check on the trio. When Moody got loud Harry peeked around the corner, "Mad Eye," is all he said and the man paused and glanced at him, giving the younger man a nod he went back to a civil tone.
Yet when Tom goaded him some by giving out vivid details Harry called, "Tom knock it off or no lunch!" and the man pouted some so when he came back out with a tray full of sandwiches, and Remus came out with a tray full of tea cups and he sighed some, "Moody why are you white as a ghost?" the teen asked making the man glance at him and suddenly go red, "Tom what did you do?"
"Why do you assume it's something I've done?" Tom asked before Harry crossed his arms and Severus elbowed him, "Oh fine…I may have shared a memory…or three," which made Harry sigh and not give him any food, "No lunch seriously? Those look amazing."
"Apologize," Harry said as he made plates for everyone else.
"Uh fine, I'm sorry for potentially scarring your mind with those images," Tom said even though they could all tell he did not mean it Harry still gave him his lunch and even a soft kiss.
Remus pulled Harry into a seat between him and Moody and very calmly said, "I am not happy with this arrangement as you very well know but seeing as how they seem willing to abide by the few simple rules I applied and have been oddly welcoming to our intrusion to their home," he paused as he saw Moody thinking of something and snapped suddenly, "Mad Eye if you even think what I'm sure you're about to start thinking I will personally kill you! If these two go to prison or are killed it will harm Harry, you remember Harry right the loveable goofy rather temperamental Harry? Yeah he would be hurt and angry, I can handle him being angry by aiming him at your stupid ass but if he gets hurt he'll cry and remember the last time he cried?"
"His magic made it storm bad enough to flood down town London," Moody said before sighing, "Fine."
After lunch the two men left and Tom pulled Harry into a breath taking kiss, "I have some work to do," and then he turned and kissed Severus as well, "Be home for dinner."
Once Tom was gone Severus pulled Harry close and kissed his shoulder some, "I have a few papers to grade?" and he lead the young man up to his study and settled his young lover next to him in a soft chair near the desk, "Last time I left you alone in this house I almost died, let's not risk that happening to you."
"Mm," Harry relaxed into the chair and smiled some, "Alright," and he called softly, "Fawkes can you bring me my Charms book?" and not even a minute later the Phoenix was flying in to settled next to him the Charms book in his talons. Stroking the birds head Harry smiled and took the book as his friend curled against his side as he read some while Severus worked.
Severus was nearly done with his grading when a trill from Fawkes made Harry tint pink, and the younger man motioned the bird away, "What did he say to you?" the man asked curiously.
"He was just alerting me to a fact I've been waiting for," Harry said before kissing the man very softly, "I'll be in my old room," getting drawn into another kiss he pulled away and smiled some before darting off, e blinked as he gazed at the potion the coloring was odd. It was not white meaning he was fertile nor had it turned black indicating he was unfertile; it was a bright purple coloring.
After rechecking the book he found a reference to another book and smiled as he realized they had it, looking he began to read, 'The fertility potion will only work properly so long as the subject is not yet pregnant, should a pregnant male try to use the potion the colors will range depending on gender of child. Blue indicates a boy and red indicates a female, rarely do the colors alter from that. Blood red means twin girls, and a midnight blue means twin boys, no recorded male birth of a female and male twin have ever been written or tested thus we can only assume the potion would turn purple.'
Sitting back some Harry stared at the book for a very long time before touching his wand to his stomach, "Revealo," and he blinked as it turned green, "Ha-ha," and he searched for information about that coloring and read another passage, 'Should the spell indicate as green the male is lucky and blessed with twin children, nine cases of tins born to males have been recorded in the last thousand years so while rare it is a blessing.'
When Tom got home he saw Severus was reading and asked, "Where is Harry?"
"Huh?" looking up dark eyes searched the room, "I…I think he's in his old room, last he told me that is where he was going," so the two went to go find their missing lover what they came across had both men turning pale.
Harry was in his room pacing and talking to the birds, "How is this possible the book said males cannot get pregnant by accident and I don't think any of the times we've been together we all were thinking how wonderful a baby would be at the same time…bloody hell," he suddenly snapped as Fawkes began trilling, "No you silly bird I will not be sitting on an egg," more trilling, "No just because it twins does not mean two eggs, humans don't lay eggs!"
"T-t-t-twins?" Severus stuttered out before hearing a thud, looking over he saw Tom had fainted, when Harry opened the door to find out the noise Severus gave a slightly nervous laugh and fainted as well.
