In the Apple family barn, Aura was sleeping on some hay. The barn door then creeks open and Aura's ear perk up at the sound, but remains still and silent. At the entrance, three shadows can be seen, them being a unicorn, pegasus, and earth pony. They quietly walk up to Aura, trying to contain their giggles. "Shh!" one of them whispered "You'll wake him up!"

"This is too good" another voice whispered as the unicorn began to focus her magic on Aura, who opens his eyes to see Twilight, Rainbow, and Applejack. "Ahem!" he cleared his throat to get the ponies attention "What are you doing?" he asked, "We were gonna...get...some...hay!" Rainbow said "Yeah! We were gonna get some hay" Aura was about to speak when Pinkie pie tackles him out of nowhere. "What the?!" he shouted being surprised by the attack "Hurry Twilight!" Pinkie said.

Twilight focused her magic again lifting Aura into the air and encased him in a magical sphere that glowed brightly until you couldn't see him. After about a minute Twilight lets Aura fall on the ground, only he looks completely different. Due to Twilight's magic he was turned into a pony. Aura got up, but his legs were feeling numb so he collapsed. He got up again, but then he noticed his front "hooves" he was going to try his best not to freak out.

"Twilight... What did you do to me?" he asked in a calm voice. "Why don't you just see for yourself" she replied as she made a mirror appear in front of him. Aura looked into the mirror and what he saw shocked him. Aura was now a black pegasus stallion with a dark red mane and tail with one bang covering his left eye. He looked at his flank to see a cutie mark of a blue soul with two wings on the side of it. "Y-you turned me into a pony..." He said, still completely shocked "Why me?" he asked "Well I wanted to test this certain spell, and Sonic and his friends are looking for the remaining two Chaos Emeralds" she replied.

"Okay, Well I'm gonna take a walk" he said and exited the barn "I'll go keep him company" Applejack ran and caught up with Aura. "You okay there partner?" she asked "Hmm? Oh yeah, I just need to adjust to the wings, the hooves. Basically everything a pony does" he replied with a slight chuckle. "So you think its not easy being a pony?" the orange mare asked "Well I wouldn't say its hard or easy" Aura replied making Applejack laugh a little. "You do know its not permanent" she told him "Yeah, I know. I'm just saying" he replied "So what do ya think Sonic is doing?" Applejack asked "Probably something reckless"

*Sonic's Emerald search*

Sonic and Shadow were in front of the entrance to a cave. "You sure its in here?" Sonic asked "I'm sure; chaos energy was emanating from within this cave" Shadow replied. Just then Knuckles, Rage, and Max show up "Yeah, thanks for ditching us back there!" Knuckles shouted "Well it wouldn't have happened if you weren't too slow" Sonic retorted "Shut up! I hear something coming out of the cave" Shadow said. The rest of the group remained quiet as they heard footsteps from the cave.

It was quiet now, until the sound of claws scraping against the cave walls was heard. The creature that made the sound was tall, black and sleek. It had glowing green teeth and a swirly eye, literally swirls for eyes. It also had a long tail and it looked like it was made of a slimy substance, its hair was green and messed up.

"What is that thing?" Rage asked then they heard the ground pounding. "What now?" From inside the cave a Purple Scorpio. They look closely to see the purple Chaos Emerald right above the giant scorpion's eyes. "Great, now we have to deal with a creepy creature and a giant chaos powered scorpion" Rage said. The Scorpio hissed and soon more scorpios come out of the cave, but smaller than the Chaos Scorpio. "I guess that must be the leader" Shadow said cracking his knuckles.

"Woah, woah, woah!" Aura yelled as he crashed into another tree for 5th time. "Ow..." Aura rubbed his head while the Mane six went in to help him up. "Well your getting better" Rainbow said trying to cheer him up. "You don't have to lie to make me feel better." he replied "I just need to keep trying that's all" Aura spread his wings and took off in a red and black blur. He zipped all around the sky while Applejack cheered for him. He looked back at her and gave her a smile, he turned to see that he was about to crash into a tree. "Not this time!" he yelled and his aura started to surround his wings in the form of a blade and in a flash he landed a few inches away from the it. It was silent when the tree fell down a few seconds later.

"I think I'm getting used to this" He chuckled. "That was some show you put on there Aura" Applejack said "Thanks, now what's next?" he asked

"Chaos... Spear" Shadow launched multiple chaos spears at a Scorpio pawn, shattering its exoskeleton and used a homing attack on its soft skin sending it crashing into a wall. More Scorpios came and pointed their stingers at Shadow and fired energy beams at him, but he jumped into the air, firing more chaos spears at them. Knuckles ran at them with his fist pulled back and uppercuts them into the air, Max then held them in place "Now Rage!" he said and Rage went up and launched multiple fireballs, burning them. Max used his psyckokenisis and slammed them on the ground.

Sonic spin dashed at the Chaos Scorpio, but it swatted him away with its claws. Sonic quickly recovered and circled around the scorpion, creating a blue tornado that lifted the giant scorpion into the air as it fell on its back "As for you" He said pointing at the black creature "Who are you?" he asked as the creature gave a wide smile at him "My name" its voice was female and distorted "Is DN-001, but you can call me DiaNe" she replied.

"Okay DiaNe, Where did you come from" DiaNe laughed "All will be revealed in due time" she replied "But as of now we fight" she said and ran at Sonic, attempting slash him with her claws, but he dodged and used a homing attack which DiaNe melted to avoid getting hit. The Chaos Scorpio got back up and started to charge its stinger, but Knuckles tackled it before it could hit Sonic "We'll handle the bug! You just focus on the creepy female!" he said and Knuckles and the others fought the Chaos Scorpio while Sonic took on DiaNe.

Sonic ran at DiaNe and punched her in the gut. DiaNe grabbed Sonic's foot with her tail and slammed him on the ground. She then started focusing chaos energy into her claws and attempted to slash Sonic, but he swept her legs and spin dashed her against a tree. DiaNe started shifting her arm into a blade and slashed off some of Sonic's quills "Hey! Not cool!" he shouted and he started to spin dash in place with a light blue aura starting to form around him. He used his Light Speed attack on DiaNe, making her go through a boulder. In front of the boulder was the blue Chaos Emerald.

Sonic quickly picked it up, but noticed that DiaNe was gone. He looked back at the others who've taken care of the Scorpio and retrieved the last emerald. "We have all the emeralds. Now we'll be able to go home" Sonic said, feeling a bit sad to leave his new friends. "Well we better go back" Shadow said " Chaos...Control!" in a flash of light, they were gone.

"Okay I think I'm used to this now, so can you change me back into a hedgehog Twilight?" Aura asked "Okay" the purple unicorn replied and engulfed Aura in a bright purple light, when the light dimmed he was back in his hedgehog form "Thanks, you know it was pretty fun being a pony" He said and a bright light suddenly appeared behind them. "Hey guys, did you find them?" Aura asked "Yeah, now we'll be able to go home" They then see the saddened faces of the Mane six "You guys are going home?" Pinkie's hair deflated like a balloon and sat down on the ground in sadness, tears beginning to stream down her cheeks, and she began to cry "I'm gonna miss you guys so much!" she sobbed.

"Pinkie... Don't be sad" Sonic said "We'll be back before you know it" Pinkie wiped some of her tears away and smiled "Pinkie Promise?" she asked "Repeat after me" she said "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye" Pinkie then gave Sonic a hug. "Well we don't have to leave right away" Sonic chuckled "Lets have some fun!" Pinkie jumped in the air with excitement "Hooray!"

With that, the group of friends prepared to spend their last days with each other before they say goodbye.
