Nanny said get the plant which is red with white dots.
Lioness got of her ride and quickly looked for the plant Nanny told her about when she was little.
'Hydresiba.' She whispered to herself.
'Looking for the Hydresiba?' A familiar voice said and she quickly turned around to see Chase standing.
'Why. Why did you do that to Axel?' Lioness shouted.
'He was a good fighter. Don't worry he will be fine in a couple of weeks plus it has bought us time' Chase said to her.
'You clawed him with the venom of the Icardilosa. What do you mean he will be fine you snake!' Lioness shouted in his face.
'He will be fine because I only put a small amount on him. He should be back to his feet in a few weeks. How do you know about that breed?' Chase looked at her.
'I don't have time for your games Chase.' Lioness said and began to walk away. Chase jumped in front of her and held a flower.
'The Hydresiba.' Lioness said. Chase took her hand and placed the flower.
'Though I placed little on him he will be back in good health in no time.' Chase said to her and began to walk away.
'Wait!' Lioness shouted and made Chase stop.
'You said it bought us time. What are you talking about?' Lioness said looking at his face.
'Meet me by 2 am the same place and I will explain' Chase said and vanished.
'That prick' Lioness mumbled to herself and jumped on her. She rushed back to see the guys surrounding Axel.
'How is he doing?' Lioness asked and got a bowl and some water.
'We did everything like you said.' Clay said and put another cold towel on his head.
'That's good. Okay everyone get out and I will take over from her. Thanks guys.' Lioness said and with that everyone started to leave the room.
'I'm staying.' Pyro said and stood still.
'I know you want to be here for him but please if you want to see him live then get out. I need to do this alone. I will call you in anything happens or if I need help.' Lioness told her.
'Listen to her Pyro. Let's go' Omi said and began to lead her out of the room.
Lioness began to rip the flower petals and open the steam of the plant. She slowly removed the black line in the steam and mixed it into the bowl. She heard Axel mutter to himself and slowly open his eyes.
'Lioness.' He murmured to her.
'Easy. Everything is going to be alright just relax' Lioness replied and wiped his face. She then gave him water to drink and lifted up shirt to see the wound. She then cleaned the area with cold water and got the bowl with the ingredients she needed.
'This is going to sting stay strong for me.' Lioness said and slowly poured the concoction on to the wound and saw his hand grip the bed he laid in and gritted his teeth.
'Don't worry I'm almost done.' Lioness said and began cleaning and covering his wound with a bandage.
'Thanks Dr Cat' Axel whispered and laughed whilst hiding his pain.
'Hey relax. I said we are almost done.' She replied and went back to the remaining ripped leaves and steam. She then used spices and water and created a drink out of the plant.
'Drink it. It will help you' Axel did what he was told and drank it as fast as he could.
'Good now you should feel better by tomorrow as long as you rest.' Lioness told him and cleaned his face.
'Thank you.' Axel said and gave her a smile. 'What happened to me?'
'I will explain it to you and the guys instead of repeating myself.' Lioness said and gave him a smile and called everyone in and told them about the venom.
'That sneaky bastard.' Clay said
'Of course that's Chase Young!' Omi said
'Hold on. The Icardilosa? I thought they were extinct?' Raymundo said confused.
'You know about the venom? Kimiko asked him and the others gave them a confused look.
'Yeah. I thought they were mainly in Rio though and the rest of the world's population was gone
'Not according to this one.' Axel said and started to stand up.
'What are you doing dude?' Shark looked at his leader.
'Going to do some Jo-lan.' Axel responded but was held back by Lioness.
'No. That's too much for now. Try tomorrow and you will be fine.' Lioness told him and he understood but still got up and walked towards the door.
'Didn't you understand what I just said? Honestly I don't think I can actually leave you until you get rest.' Lioness said and guarded the door.
'But Li-'Axel said but was cut off.
'No buts' Lioness butted in.
'Lioness!' Axel said.
'What!' Lioness raised her voice.
'I just need to use the toilet' Axel said and she immediately started to blush and held the door for him.
'Just go' Lioness said and everyone started to laugh.
'Wow mom alert!' Hawk said and laughed with everyone else.
'Keep laughing and wake up without breakfast tomorrow.' Lioness smirked.
The group immediately stopped. Axel walked back in and went back to the bed.
'Take it easy Axe-man.' King said to his best friend
'If you need anything just give us a call.' Raymundo said the rest of the group nodded.
'Thanks guys… Um Li can I talk to you.' Axel asked. She nodded and walked over to his bed. He then turned around and saw the rest of the guys still in the room.
'Alone.' Axel said and looked directly at the group. Who finally got the message and vacated the area.
'So what's on your mind?' Lioness asked him.
'Thank you.' Axel said and held her hand.
'Is that it because the guys would have been fine to hear that?' Lioness said and started giggling.
'I was so afraid Li. I thought I was going to die. I've been such a fool to you lately.' Axel said still holding her hand.
'Axel its fine. Everything is fine. You didn't die. Stop talking like that! Plus everyone acts a fool at some point.' Lioness said to him and still didn't let go of his hand.
'Seriously. I'm so happy that I know you' Axel said and couldn't stop staring at her.
'So you should be. Do you know how blessed you are?' Lioness joked and flicked her hair.
'Wow and modest too!' Axel said and tickled her. She let out a sharp laugh as he continued to tickle her. After Axel stop tickling her the two giggled.
'That was fun.' Lioness said holding her stomach. She turned her head and looked at Axel's face and couldn't stop studying his face. His blue eyes were brighter than before and she couldn't stop looking into them. Axel slowly moved his head towards her face and she responded by moving her head closer. Axel cupped her hands underneath her face and kissed her lips. Lioness jolted back and spoke
'Um you need to get some rest.' While blushing she began to get of the bed she laid with him.
'Li' Axel said and held her hand.
'No you need rest.' Lioness said and tried to escape from his hand.
'Lioness please.' Axel said and slowly got to his feet to stand next to her.
'Let me leave…' Lioness said without looking into his face.
'I'm sorry. I thought we could-' Axel said tying to look at her face.
'I can't… not right now. Give me time' Lioness simply responded and wiped the tear that was forming in her eye.
'Is it because of the Pyro situation? If I had a chance to go back in time I would do it in a heartbeat.' Axel told her.
'Just give me time.' Lioness said equally as shaken. She slowly walked to words the door. Before she opened the door she finally spoke.
'Please get some rest. I would hate myself if you weren't okay' Lioness said. Axel went back to the bed he laid and didn't once take his eyes of Lioness who was facing the door.
'I will make you something to eat.' Lioness said and finally open the door but moved slightly back when she saw Pyro holding a tray of food in her hands.
'I thought two Drs are better than one.' She told Lioness and walked past her and entered Axel's room. She immediately placed the food next to him and gave him a short kiss to which he widen his eyes and looked back at Lioness.
'Good idea.' She said quietly but for the two to hearer.
'Lioness wait.' Axel said but the Brazilian walked out of the room and shut the door behind her.
