Enjoy! Today has been a very stressful day and so like a true writer I turned to my keyboard. Dedicating this to my best friend (who also happens to be my boyfriend); so grateful you weren't hurt!

Being the kind of person she was, Amy found her mind to be occupied with thoughts drifting to her client instead of what was going to happen to her. She worried for the woman while Shadow worried for the delicate hedgehog sat behind him on his Harley.

This ride did in no way bring about the same thrilling experience as the last. There weren't any lunges in their stomachs as they went over bumps and around bends and there definitely weren't any butterflies of excitement within them.

The only thing to stay remotely the same was the male's need for speed as he cruised his way in and out of the traffic. Just like the last time the scenery became a blur, almost as if an artist had used wild and fast brush strokes to paint the landscape. It had a slight touch of surrealism.

It wasn't until they pulled up to the tall building, known as the Head Quarters, and screeched to a halt that Amy began to realise the situation she was placed in…

Anxiety started to fill up in the pit of her stomach. She tried to swallow it down as Shadow lifted her safely down from the black beauty of a bike.

"Follow me."

The strong male marched on ahead as his friend stood still. The pink hedgehog found herself nervously tapping her small feet upon the pavement. She picked up on the grey colour and made note in her mind that it reflected the dreary mood she was in. Just a single look in her direction and the alpha male felt bad.

Taking his leading role into action, he kindly approached her and took her by his left wing. The two became entwined as he led her through the complex layout of the high tech base. Without his knowledge they would have ended up in completely the wrong direction…

The warmth of his skin soothed Amy as he supported her around; not only in directions but with moral support too. Jade eyes scanned the passing setting; taking in the long corridors and grand doors, the buzz and commotion of orders and overall just the general ordeal of G.U.N.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of walking around, they arrived at their destination. Shocked eyes fell upon the biggest set of double doors Amy had ever seen. She paused in awe at the mahogany giants. Small carvings occupied the space and massive golden doorknobs sparkled brighter than the stars at night.

"What have I done?" She quizzed her friend.

"Let's go find out. Together."

The same gloved hands which caught her in that drunken memory rapped twice onto the wooden frame of the door. A slight echo followed and filled the empty corridor. It was a rather eerie sound to hear for Amy, as she had only just gotten used to the loud bustle of the rest of the building.

The door creaked open, adding to the suspense and tension. The two friends entered the large room, anxious and waiting to hear what the 'important' news, also known as Amy's file, was…

"Shadow, Amy, do sit?"

"I'd rather stand…S-Sir."

The Commander chuckled to himself, "Shadow, she sounds an awful lot like you! You know that right?"

Amy blushed as she descended into the plump leather seat; Shadow on the other hand shrugged it off before he too sat down in the unoccupied chair next to Amy. The Commander sat opposite them, taking them both in before he started.

"Amy. My dear! You have an extraordinary talent! One in which we value here at G.U.N. In truth we need someone as 'refreshing' as you to take it upon us in some missions. You see, here at G.U.N we have to ensure the protection of society and deal with other matters. I'm trying not to overload all of this upon you, but do you understand what I'm getting at?"

"…You like my writing?"

"Ha. And your humour! I want you to work here at G.U.N using your social skills. We would like to hire you as a 'behavioural specialist' whose key role will be analysis of people and situations. I have read your file and I'm amazed at the level of qualifications you have. You have levels in psychology and sociology, studied the English language and taken several courses to further your career in human behaviours…"

"You are making it all seem very highly remarkable but truth be told when writing my column…Well I never take into consideration anything I've learnt. You see, I use my own instincts and the typical gut feeling. I apply empathy and reasoning but never do I focus on cognitive function on how to deal with stress or Freud's dream analysis. In fact I rarely use them and if and when I do it is to further support my own feelings…"

"Amy, my dear that is the very reason we want you! We want you for your gut feelings; for your raw passion; for your dedication to helping your clients. Now I understand I've sprung this upon you so I will be sending Shadow over with more details tomorrow before expecting an answer from you in a week's time."

The strong commander rose from his seat and motioned to the door. But his actions were a fraction too slow for the pink hedgehog that had also sprung from her seat like it was on fire.

"I'll do it!"
