new character! Some people might not like Mary I mean I naturally don't but she kind of well a bitch in this.
Regina's P.O.V
"Emma will you stop that you're clumsy enough without you running up and down the stairs to help injure yourself more." I shouted from the kitchen where I was making snacks and drinks for Emma, Ruby, Ashley, and Belle. Today had not started so hectic. In fact there was about an hour this morning Emma and I enjoyed some quiet. That is before Henry woke up. The sweet kisses and whispers of love we shared thought the night and again when we woke. It was after breakfast when she was leaving she told me her plans for the day. She was going to give Mary-Margaret one last fist before heading home. That visit wouldn't consist of her requesting her to tell her husband or she would.
The next time I saw Emma she was standing at my door around lunch time. She was all nervous and shy on my porch when I answered the door. She was quite adorable saying 'hope you don't mind I brought a bit by today.' How ever could I deny her entry with her possessions. It really was just some stuff but instead of doing this throughout the time span of the day she had brought all her things and her friend and family to help. Emma's excitement to move should have worried me and it would have if I was excited as well.
"So did you talk to mrs, Blanchard?" I asked during lunch. I didn't know what she had told the others so I asked leaving it up to her if they asked.
"Shit can you believe that Emma and that lady are the same blood." She gave an apologetic glance to Emma meaning no offense.
"Yes I did she begged me not to force her to tell David but I said if she didn't I would." I wore a proud smile at this. She really was nothing like her mother definitely more like her father.
"It would seem she's more like David though. Which is a good thing."
"So you know him? Who is he just incase I need to find him to tell him."
"He works in the animal shelter, he use to be Katherine Nolan's fiancé." All the girls gasp Rubys eyes are wide with fresh gossip material. It was odd that not many people remembered that snow and David once dated but when she came back as Mary-Margaret it surprised me even more that not many recalled her from back then, I suppose the physical differences did help for a little while at least. Until David and Katherine broke up and everyone was talking about the long ago romance.
Of course David deserved to know about Emma and Mary was just depriving him as well as Emma of a chance to get to know one another. I knew she wouldn't do it. The woman was weak and if she couldn't have Emma she would try her hardest so he couldn't find out. In all honesty having a relationship with him would be far easier than having one with Mary.
As lunch ended I unfortunately had to say goodbye to Emma one more time as she would be spending one last night at the inn. I did feel more comfort in the fact her things were settled in my home, our home. A couple hours after Emma left Henry said he wanted to go to the park and so we went. It was two in the afternoon when we got there and first thing we saw going to our favorite spot was a bird with a broken wing. It was just any bird it was a damn blue bird. One that reminded me of Snow, the bird love creep. Henry began crying the moment he saw it.
"Mommy, can we save it?" I froze mostly unable to force myself to do something that would earn praise from Mary. Then is eyes batted, his lip jutted, and I a was done for. I scooped the poor thing up in my scarf.
"We can take it to a doctor." I said heading back to the car.
"Birdie sick mommy?" I shook my head.
"No honey it's hurt. It's got a boo boo." The only pet medical place I knew off was at the shelter. Of course it was and who was it that greeted up, Prince Charming himself.
"Oh Regina mills what a surprise. How can I help you?" A little cry from the bird gave its presence away and I laid it gently on the counter. Without a moment of hesitation he took her away and found a doctor to help the little guy or waited a good five minutes for him to return to the front worry ebbed in his forehead. "If you don't mind telling me where and how you found her."
"Of course, we were going to the park there's a spot we love to go she was just sitting there crying out. I noticed her wing was broken the first place I could think of was here." He turns to Henry where anyone can tell he's been upset too.
"And I'm sure you were a great help to weren't you. Thank you both for bringing her in I think it was just in time, we might just save her baby." No wonder it was abnormally big for the type of bird.
"Speaking of babies how is snow doing." He sighs at the name.
"She goes by Mary-Margaret now you know. And what do you mean by that?" I can't believe I'd do this to him but I feel like it's Emma only chance and if snow tells him he is more likely to believe it.
"Are you two planing on having any?" I know from other teachers gossip she says she doesn't want any.
"No she doesn't want to. I don't know why her being a teach I thought she would love having one." He says and that's exactly what he should be wondering.
"Perhaps you should ask her, find out why she really left al those years ago." With that I take Henry's hand and we leave. There's no need to look back to see the expression on David's face. Was that why I found the bird today? why I thought to come here? was it so I would tell him to talk to his wife? Who married a woman that ran away for 17 years without questions. Or maybe he, just like Emma, didn't ask the right ones.
Emma's P.O.V
It wasn't to late in the morning she I left Regina's house. My only goals were to drop by Mary-Margaret's and David apartment and then head home with wonderful news about moving in with Regina. When I got to Mary's I wondered what car was David's if he was home. I almost hoped I could see him but I was only here to promise to give Mary one chance to tell him the truth. Facing the same door as last night I knocked and the petit teacher answered. She stumbled over her words not sure what else I could be at her door for.
"Emma?" I waved of her oncoming words not wanting to hear more of her empty caring words.
"I'm assuming David is here I'll be quick. You have until the end of the week to tell him or I will." She shook her head adamantly.
"Please don't make me, he won't want to be with me after he finds out. Please do ma-"
"Now you have four days." I can't let her keep him from knowing, keep me from knowing him. I might have Granny but knowing he never knew makes me want to at least let the man try. Again she pleaded and I couldn't take it. "Fine you know you have until tonight. Tell him or I will find him tomorrow and tell him myself."
Jesus didn't the woman get it I'm not in the mood to play games. This is my life and maybe his life ruined because of her. I turned and left as soon I heard a Mans voice from behind Mary in the apartment. Her eyes widened and I knew it was David. I left before I did something I'd regret.
When I made it home every asked me where I was and I told them after I saw Mary last night I went to Regina to feel better. I also made a point to say I declined Mary's offer to rent (Which I had no idea why she had a two bedroom apartment if she was married). I also may have excitedly exclaimed Regina's offer to let me move in with her.
"Whoop whoop get it girl! You have a sugar mama." I narrowed my eyes at her and she barreled over laughing despite my glare. "I'm just kidding Em but when are you going."
"I was hoping to move stuff over today and stay one more night." I didn't wanna say goodbye to eagerly. I would seriously miss them all to much but I couldn't get passed the fact that I was happy, I was in love, and so close to having one biological parent to get to know. "I don't wanna go without saying a proper goodbye. Not that I won't see you all everyday."
"You better girl. If I have to I'll drag you to breakfast every morning with your girlfriend and her son." I beamed at Granny's level of love for me.
"I love you Granny." I teared up a bit as I hugged her. Ashley was the first to wipe a tear away and everyone groaned as we realized it wasn't just her who had water works going. It didn't take to long to repack all my things. I came here with so little and though I had much more than when I got here I didn't have to much to take forever packing.

I was really nervous standing at Regina's door wonder if I should have called first. 'Why didn't I call first.' It was almost comically lame the way I clammed up when she answered the door. I shifted feet and look down shyly.
"Hope you don't mind I brought some stuff." I said earning a chuckle and a loving smile. Me and my crew quickly unloaded my trunk and Ruby's car. Most of it was clothes more than what I should have due to Ruby's insistence that I take some and that way she can get more. The most time consuming was the organizing since I refused to let Regina be stuck with it or do it herself.
"So did you talk to mrs, Blanchard?" The topic at lunch it seemed. Before I got to answer Ruby bursts with a response.
"Shit can you believe that Emma and that lady are the same blood." She gave me an apologetic glance meaning no offense.
"Yes I did she begged me not to force her to tell David but I said if she didn't I would." Regina looked happy at my confidence or control in the situation.
"It would seem she's more like David though. Which is a good thing."
"So you know him? Who is he just incase I need to find him to tell him."
"He works in the animal shelter, he use to be Katherine Nolan's fiancé." She said which surprised all of us. I could tell Ruby had her head full of gossipy things to say though I knew none would be about them being my parents.

It was hard to leave Regina's house but as promised I went home to the inn for one last night with the girls. It wasn't until later that night while watching Ruby and Belle make kissy faces the front door to the inn I had come so accustomed to never being used by ourselves or by our few tenets. At the sound of a jingle I looked to Ruby and found that she too was surprised but make her way over to me and the front desk.
"Welcome to Granny's bed and breakfast can I help you." The man looked upset and sad.
"Yes I'll need to rent a room." Ruby nodded pulled out a paper form for him to look over and fill out. When she took down at his name she gasped and hit my arm.
"Ow Rubes what the heck!" She pointed subtly to the man and his signed name.
"Is there something wrong." He said lifting his eyes from the paper to us. Ruby quickly faced him.
"No sir just wondering if you were Mary-Margaret's husband."
"Yes, why do you ask?" The
"See I told you Emma she would say something to him." I'm couldn't stand straighter if I tried. Sending her a glare I looked over to him to see if he would know she was his daughter.
"Emma?"
"Hi" it couldn't be more awkward. "Did she tell you? tell you I'm your daughter is that why your here?" He took a double take and grew speechless. "I uh guess not. I'm sorry I know this is a lot I shouldn't have. I'll just go." I turn to leave slightly embarrassed.
"No wait. Yes it's a lot to take in but well I'd like to get to know you." He motions behind him to a sitting area for guests that eat breakfast down stairs. "May I?" I don't need to say anything at all as my faces brothers and I have an extra step in pace as I hurry over to a chair. He jutted out a hand before sitting. "David Blanchard."
"Emma swan. It's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you too, you look so much like my mama Ruth." He gave such an endearing smile and looked as if he could see her now looking at me. Something told me I was going to really like this David Blanchard man, this man that was my father.
review please!
David seems really glad and surprised to meet Emma so soon. Is it to soon? Pretty much Mary-Margaret wouldn't tell him who their child was and why she was telling him now so he left. Should it be for good or temporary? If permanent who would you pair him up with?
