Sitting on a bench across from the regular and baby swings and the slippering tobbogan was a hauntening and dark strong figure who was watching the children into winter coats in every different color, running, slidding down and laughing with screaming as well. But most of, they were all having fun despite this very cold winter day, even if spring was just a month away, the cold would always find a way back in. Like a threat that never goes away.

Shivering his he was sitting on this bench into his old used brown coat with an greasy and unfixed haircut as he tried to warm himself with a cigarette. His skin was pale due to the shivering winter's wind and due to had spend a few nights outside and laying down on NYC streets.

He watched the running kids at the park, but only one had caught his attention, though.

The devil.

The devil, he had sworn to kill a few months ago, but his sickened mother had got into the way and had volunteered to get herself killed, for her son who was hiding away. Like a little coward. Sacrificing her life for the devil.

And there she was pushing her little toddler who was sitting on the swing. That bitch in that blue coat shouldn't have had the chance to live and not the kid either.

If that blond haired bitch had come back here, it was for help and demanding help from her alies and all of them were male. Strong male figures, like a certain Vincent Keller.

Damn, another devil worshipper that came back from the dead. Ash, who was supposed to be his bestfriend had tried to denounced him way before. Jeffrey, the casanova and loudmouth who blamed everyone alive into the scene. J.T. Forbes, a man who knows too much for his own good here. Alex Salter, a woman who was left with a open wound when her on and off fiancee was declared dead back in at war, was none better than them, since she has been hiding away under an alias and was the one who treated and begged her friend go back here to seek for help. He loathed them all.

And that ex-fiancee of hers was not considered as dead anymore, since he'd been declared alive and was walking around the streets, as a 'so-called hero'. Lies. There were all lies. He had known for a very longtime that the man was fooling everyone with his 'war hero' story, to save his face. From a very longtime.

Vincent Keller was pretty much alive and had been hiding away while being here, for almost ten years in NYC. Never been dead, only a fool would had bought it up.

And Regan Bennett needed his help, after she had discovered the marvelous message that she deserved to read and to remind herself of whatever status she was representing now. A slut's status. And then came with the other letters he had sent to the others, including Vincent. Her forbbiden and stupid crush, from the past. He did noticed her cheeks getting into a deeper and heated red, whenever Keller walked around her side with Alex back then, and hiding behind her notes, like a shy high school flick. He really hoped that Keller was so gonna be so screwed for the lies that had been made by himself.

The blood onto the bed was a message that he wanted to show to the so perfect man who had it all, but dropped everything down to join the army in order to avenge his two brothers who had died inside of the twin towers. What an idiot he had been back then. He had a future with Alex, a great career as a doctor and the chance to live a great and long life without any regrets. Keller was just a joke. And the blood was a way to remind him that even if he had come back from the land of fighting, Vincent would always have blood on his hands and the regrets of losing everything so dear to him. And to make him suffer, he would start with two persons.

Regan's sweet child and kill him by slaughtening his throat right before Keller's horrified eyes.

Not to mention, that Regan would suffer the consecquences as well. Once she finds out that her son has been killed by the hands of an ex-soldier, like Keller.

And that unknown and short brunette in the blue dress sitting at the asian bar, two weeks ago. Hidden away from the group's table and hers, he had watched Keller staring back to her as he was taken away by her beauty, from the entrance in silence. While he was tracking Regan, he ended up seeing Vincent trying to make amends with another woman. The brunette he had called Catherine.

Maybe Carl could use her to get to him. Just maybe. But first, he'll start with the devil's kid. He managed to pull up a smile to his face through the cold. Oh yeah. He really liked how he was thinking about making up his own plans. Imagining them into living action made him feel good. It sure was as always.

...

"Don't worry, I won't push you too high. There you go, little buddy.." Regan picked up her brown haired and blue eyed son up to her arms, before settle him into the baby swing. The young and single mother tried to assure the toddler as she gave him a little push from behind while his little fingers held on the ropes, like his life depended on it. "And up!" But the little boy wasn't squealing or even laughing at being pushed to the air. He just kept at being quiet, unlike the others children of his age. Which often had worried Regan. She was afraid of her silent and little boy's behavior ever since that night when she had been attacked might had left an impact on him for good.

At only four year old, Vincent didn't say a word after his struggling mother had been attacked to anyone. He completely had shut himself down, he didn't even asked where his father had been or even called him by short words like 'Dada' or 'Daddy'. He only managed to give a silent nod or to look up at people he doesn't even know with his own confusing eyes. Even to Miguel who keeps on trying to be nice to him, even playing with him with the running trains on the ground, when she was at the hospital. Like that time and after that blown up truth from herself, Regan had brought him up to J.T.'s place and boy, she never expected the biochimist to had melted in a heartbeat when he first saw him. She could say that J.T. looked too far happy here.

"Hey buddy, heard your name it's Vince just like my own buddy. Nice to meet ya.."But when little Vincent didn't answered back or even to look up, Regan felt J.T.'s eyes going back to hers when the little kid didn't say a word.

"Is he deaf?"But Regan shook her head moving her long blonde locks back, as she stood behind her son, holding his blue paperback.

"No, don't worry, J.T. He's just being shy here and he's not used to be surrounded by strangers, that's all.." She bend down to her son's height and whispered to his ear, trying to assure him. "You see, this teddy bear guy with the rounding glasses and into the weird pyjamas here here? That's J.T. he's a very good friend here."She had raised a finger to the guy standing in front of her son." He may look odd here, but he is the nicest person I ever met. He and his buddy always gives the best hugs. Like Winnie The Pooh does.."

"And I like honey, but it's mostly my buddy Vincent that likes to peek up at the fridge, in the middle of the night for food and for emptying the honey bottle, on his own.."had lightened up things J.T. when the boy in the blue coat and green pants had raised up his head to see J.T. smiling when he finally gotten the kid's attention. Much for Regan's good relief. "I mean, Vincent is more like Winnie than I do. I am more like the rabbit guy here, always panicking and worrying about everything for nothing!" It made the blond haired woman smile when the little figure here turned his attention to her, not knowing what else to chose here.

"See? No worries here!" It seemed to work on with J.T. since little Vincent was starting to feel a little comfortable and less discomforted later on as a fuzzy hairball with four paws had bursted into the room and walked towards their direction. Ed, the four year old golden retriever had come in and for some weird and unknown reason made little Vincent smile, when the dog camed up to nuzzle him. The four year old boy hugged the dog. It made Regan so happy that she almost bursted with tears of joy. However, J.T. was quick to remind her that Ed was missing his own master who has been trapped into work, ever since he had got into it. "Let's just say that Ed is missing his own master here." The blond haired woman looked back at him, perplexed.

"You mean, Vincent? Where is he, by the way?"He shrugged at this question as she noticed his smile forming into a frown and folded his arms against his chest.

"Left for a new job. He's been trying to fix things lately." Say that again? Regan really hoped that the ex-soldier wasn't on trying to ignore after what he said the night before. Did he pitied her?

"What kind of things?"

"I don't know. Problems from the past, I guess. He'll come up, anyways.."He took the paperback from her hold and walked directly at some of the rooms, that she and her son would spend for the entire and illimitated time into the club, while she and the others would come up with a plan about tracking up Carl on their own. Ash and Jeffrey had agreed, while Miguel had stood silent about it, but for J.T. and Vincent, they didn't look much convinced, either way. Vincent did assured her that everything was gonna be okay, but did he only said that, just because he had pitied on her? Which explained the reason of why he wasn't here to welcome her up with J.T. in this afternoon event of the day.

"It must had left him a mark.."had blurted out J.T with a nod as he watched little Vincent sitting on the floor with Ed on his side as they both watched TV, a few hours later on. Sitting on a stool at the bar while the professor who was now dressed into his own formal clothes, was standing up and behind it, Regan nodded with a sigh. She put up her fingers through her hair to put them back up from her eyes. It did left a mark on her son.

"Aunt Diana had told me that Vincent would get over it. With therapy and with being surrounded by the people who truly cares and loves him..She even told me that even with Carl being found by the cops here or to somewhere else, she'll put an injonction against him from coming closer to Vincent or to me.."

"Even if he is being held in prison?"

"Yes. I'm ready to do everything in my power to protect him from Carl..That's why, Alex told me to get here for some help.." She really didn't wanted to put her friend under serious danger, despite the fact that the red haired nurse lived under an alias for protection.

"And it was by getting to Vincent.."

"I really had no idea of whatever thing she was referring about, until I've seen Vincent, right in front of my own eyes. Standing up and being alive for real." Damn, Alex was right about Vincent and for some weird feeling, she had told her to go up to him. So, during all this time, her friend had known about him being alive and didn't even said a word? How come?

"Even if it means by tracking him on your own.."J.T. had brought up the subject about Carl once again. When she tried to avoid his staring from her sight.

"Regan, you can't be serious-"

"I want justice!"She turned her gaze right back to him, wanting to slap the bar as it would get rid of the frustration and fear she has been living with. Damn, she was tired and wanted things to be done. However, J.T. wasn't having any of it as he tried to resonate her. And hoping she'll give up on the revenge idea now. Not only, she looked tired but he also did as well. And pissed could be a part of it too.

"But you won't get it, by doing in your own way! Vincent was right, last night. We have to let the cops getting involved here. I know someone who can do it-"

"And who would be able to help me, J.T? I can't stay into a safe house for the rest of my life and I'm sure Vincent agrees with me here-"Regan tried to find an excuse saying that her little toddler would agree, but J.T. had caught her off guard here, by pointing the little sitting boy with the dog.

"That boy is too scared to talk, Regs. Don't you see? You want him to never see his own mother ever again, after trying to set her attacker into a trap? Come on! Let the cops do their own job. I know someone close to me who can help you.."Trying to hold back on her tears, Regan looked away and right to her son's whose eyes was staring right to the TV with Ed. Her baby boy, didn't wanted or forbid himself to talk because of the trauma he had to go through. He looked frightened by any new places he'd been exposed and moved into. Regan had believed he had been catatonic, but not quite as she thought. Vincent just shuted himself from making any sound, at his own and young age. J.T. was right. Vincent did not looked okay, at all.

"And who can?"She blurted out this like a faint whisper out through air.

"Tess-Detective Tess Vargas, from Special Crimes Unit. She is doing that undercover job here at the moment, but I'm sure she'll find a way help you out. Trust me. Regs. Carl is so going down.."J.T. sounded so certain to her ears and that was something that Carl had once took advantage from herself. She shook up her head in denial.

"Don't make any promises that you won't be able to keep up, J.T.-"

"You want the best for your little guy, here, Regs? Then, call the cops and so that nobody would get hurt and that includes you."She brought back her eyes to him, when he repeated himself confident and trustfull."Nobody."

But she didn't called them. Didn't had the courage to do it 's not that she didn't wanted to believe him. She really wanted. Cops from San Jose had tried to do their own work on catching Carl and didn't wanted the same thing to happen once again. She tried to talk up to J.T. this very early morning, only to have had disturbed him into his work as she asked him if he had news about Vincent or Carl. That poor guy. Having to deal with a hard job as a professor from university and protecting Vincent's ass and hers. Sighing with despair. She just wanted all this mess to be gone and to have her life again. Living a normal life with Vincent and Miguel, without fear and punish Carl, for good. When Regan was about to push her son again, she spotted a dark figure across the view. Sitting away from tobogan where kids were running around. That made her stop her tracks for a second. It made her shiver with fear. This figure, she was damn sure that it was-Her eyes widened at that dark figure which she had recognized so well and hoped she wasn't hallucinating. But she wasn't.

Oh God. Please. No, just don't be it..

Without any wait, she went through her purple coat's pocket to fetch up her phone as she held both her son and the swing with one hand while the other was trying dial Miguel's phone number. Trembling was the answer to her fear. But when she brought up her attention back, the dark figure was gone from her sight and Vincent was still sitting into the swing, but something told her that he also had witnessed whatever she had seen about now.

He was back to finish her. And her son too.

She switched plans and dialed J.T.'s phone number, once again. Regan didn't gave a damn if he had to scold her for disturbing him again, because she was in need of his help and fast.

...

Meanwhile at the same moment when Regan's husband have been watching his wife pushing her son at the swings, things weren't better for J.T. as he watched Tess shaking up her head as she went back into cop mood.

"Okay. This looks quite real here. No, doubts about it." Tess took a kleenex from the box who was set up into J.T.'s desk and bend down on her knees to the pick up the mini camera, before she could rose up onto her feet. When J.T. fell right back down onto his chair as he let his back lean to the back of his chair. Feeling exhausted as he had shared Regan's running away story with Tess who tried to listen despite she felt like wanting to shake up her head, completely annoyed by it. Damn, she looked like she really wanted to pull up someone's hair here, and not only his, but Regan's as well.

Dang. They were living in the twenty first century here, not into the fifties. Thousands of women had come up through from violent abuse and made the effort to file an complain, today. But still, they were others whom weren't that lucky, either way, especially towads kids. However, the violence towards women, children, mostly men and etc still exists today.

And came the threat letters that Carl had both sent to them all, including Vincent. Which explained why the club was into a mess when Tess had first stepped up here. J.T. had company and that might be in serious danger if they stayed here for any more second. With the mini camera found here and who knows how much they were plugged around here. Way too many. Who knows how long Carl had been watching them all along here.

"So what do you think?"

"I don't know. However, the guy must have been very smart to penetrate here and to flee away like a silent bee. You said you had checked everywhere in here, if there were any sign of any bulgary?"

"Yup, and I found nothing that had been moved or translocated at all, from two weeks ago.."

"Two weeks ago?"

"That's what I said." He really didn't noticed anything at all, till now.

"And nothing happened later on?"

"Yeah, I know."

"And why didn't your blond haired friend didn't filed a complain?"

"You think she didn't or that she couldn't? She was stabbed and had been left to die at her home, Tess. Regan was scared. Not only for herself, but for her kid as well."J.T. stood up from his chair as he added this. "Alex told her to leave the city with her son and Miguel, to find Vincent.."

"Oh boy, here we go again with Salter."Tess just rolled up her eyes at that name. Really. Looking back at it and in a better way now, she had found out that Cat was actually trying to dismiss things for Alex in order for her to be safe and to be far away from Murfield when they almost had her killed, once. Back then, Tess didn't really understood, but came to a point that it was about saving Alex from any harm, and by keeping Vincent into the dark and far away from the people who were and still hunting him, today. However, with Alex being safe and away, it was the only thing that Cat could ever be proud about. Sparing someone's life, for once.

But Alex just couldn't keep her mouth shut at all. Because she had sent someone here that desperately needed rescue and psychology help, in time. And killing, it just wasn't the answer to it.

"She tried to only do the good thing-"J.T. tried to explain back, got cut off by her, once again. She felt like puking here.

"Good thing? Salter had only brought you more trouble than it already had. And you're defending her-"

"Because she believed that Regan would be much more safe here with all her friends, surrounded."

"And that includes Vincent, into the picture.."No, doh.

"You still have the threatening letters from Patrowenski?"He pointed down on the desk where a large ziploc bag held together the letters inside as an evidence of proof.

"All of them in there. Expect for Vincent."

"Why?"

"What do you expect? Because it was laid there in blood."At this point, Tess looked back at him, trying to hide her shocking face.

"His bedroom. All of it?"

"V told me that there was blood all over the bed. He hadn't stepped back into the houseboat since that night. So, if you ever wonder about finding any footprints and fingerprints. It might be Vincent's-"

"And maybe Carl's might be all over the bed, too." No wonder it sounded like an emergency. Not only, Carl's footprints and fingers were there, but Vincent's were there too. So if the precinct ever finds out that so-called hero has been into a trouble again, and this time with someone who had an possible vendetta against him. It might be hard to hide any possible evidence from them.

Tess had no choice but to go alone into the houseboat before making any decisions. And she really hated that kind of thing in that job.

"Now, I know why, you're freaking your guts out..You're afraid that your buddy must be exposed or not. Afraid that this other friend might turned out to be dead, once her ex finds her here with her kid. "Seeing him about blurt out, she held a hand back to his face. "All because of another ex who told her to come up here and seek for comfort with her ex as well, who turns out to be most stupidest person to date on earth..Go and figure." She had conclued back to his frowning face as whatever he just told her now, didn't mattered a bit.

"Anything to add?" At this, Tess was startying to lose patience, here and looked more exhausted than ever. Of being stuck into beast bussiness and how hard it was complicated here, especially when to take care of one, like Vincent.

"When all this mess is ever gonna end, J.T.? Do you know the answer or not?"

"Well-"

"It's never gonna end. And ever since your stupid buddy had come back from the dead, things have gone much worse. Especially when ex-barbie beast had tried to brainwash him up.."Dang, she was losing control here. Just as he thought things would get fixed in a very nicely way. But haven't. And thank God, she didn't put him into the blame list. Yet.

"Don't bring up Tori into this. She has nothing to do with any of this!"To this day, J.T. always had defended the ex-female beast, until he had found out that she was the problem and the reason that Vincent had become of a monster than human. Cause, ever since he broken up things with her, he had gone more like the dude he used to hang out and the man who had fallen hard for a policewoman who used and still makes his heart racing up so fast. Even if they were apart from his mistakes and the fact that Cat had started to loathe him up, now as she was working undercover. "We're not talking about beast matter, but a vigilante who has tried to kill his wife and won't hesitate to kill her and her son, here!"

"And it all goes back to it. Damsell in distress Forbes here asks for the knight Vargas to help his ass out again."With the mini camera onto her hold, Tess turned around and walked, until J.T. had sprint up to the door as he blocked up her path to her annoying features while his were very determinated. He didn't wanted to give up.

"Look here. You need to get a life and let Vincent have his own and that's without Cat into-"

"Look to them!"

"J.T., I don't have any-"

"I said look up to them here!" He raised his voice up as he brought up the black and white pictures to her face to see. That it wasn't a question of trying to save Vincent's ass, but to save another one here. Shocked as her own breath got caught to her lungs, Tess blinked when she looked up to the pictures that dated almost three months ago. Pictures of an helpless an thirty year old woman here. Nurse, Regan Bennett whose laying body covered of long sliced of cuts. In blood. Said to be stabbed for seven to eight times by her crazy husband. Near dead on the floor when paramedics, firefighters and cops had found her. Nearly dead.

Oh God. These cuts, especially the one that nearly had touched the jugular were hard to forget. Tess just couldn't believe it from her eyes. Because she was too shocked to act or to even move. And despite having been witnessed many crime scenes into her career as a cop, she was totally shaken. Damn, that Bennett woman was in danger and so was her son, here. And if it was true here, her husband might still be around here, somewhere in NYC.

Regan survived the attack once before, but she might not be here for any longer, if Carl might track and found her, again.

"Cops failed to do their jobs, because Carl had fleed away leaving his fingerprints and footprints back to Regs's place. But it was no use, cause he had vanished without any trace."Her eyes went back up to him. Worried. And not only was she, but him too.

"So, no one knows where he is, by now?"

"No, but I have a feeling that he had found us, first I mean.."

"All the gang, including Vincent. By the letters, you mean?"

"Yeah. All letters are in here. Regan's were in blood too and marked to her window, back at the place, so Miguel. Regan's new guy had took the picture with his phone and print it as an evidence.." Hold on a second here. That blond haired girl's place was bulguarded too? Then why didn't she called the cops so?

Because it was a secret. And didn't wanted to be re-opened as a case that could go wrong here.

"So, The girl's place was bulguared as well?"

"Not as much, but it sure was. Regan was scared and didn't know who else to trust here. So Jeffrey and Ash took everything under control and told us that they may try to find a way to stop Carl from stepping over.."

"What do you mean by 'Us'?"

"Vincent and I. Big Guy wanted to know whatever was going on here and demanded the truth from the guys, right after he had discovered the bed into blood..So, Regan, Ash and Jeff had told us the truth.."

"I bet she had shown you her scars.."And when he didn't added anything else, she followed."And then? What happened?"

"Vincent had asked them to go and confess the attack, to the cops. Meaning you in here."She understood now the reason of why he needed her advice as a cop. However, she reminded him that she has other trouble to deal with, at the moment. Tracking Àlvarez was one of them. Tess tried to not worried here as she managed to blurt a bad excuse."You meant me? Look pal, I'm supposed to do some undercover work here with my partner on trying to stop Brad Pitt on doing bad stuff to his girls and trying to give his wife justice. Not leading another and wicked case, here."

"You're just sitting inside of a van, watching and hearing whatever Cat's doing to the club-"Oh don't worry buddy, it's way much worse than that. Tess had seen enough about whatever Cat's doing now. She stepped right back into J.T.'s absurd line.

"With Vincent being the nice and treating doctor, even when he's not. We all know that-"

"He did saved your life, twice, already. From drowning into some lost sewer and back at the precinct, remember that part?"It stopped her tracks, for a moment. That was true. She owned Vincent her own life and twice. But with how things had turned out anyway and lately. A part of her wanted to stay with Cat's way of dealing things and of her way of saying that she was over Vincent, for good. For senting up an possible murder that had occured.

But what if,Vincent had nothing to do with it. What if? Trying to look things that way, he wasn't at the crime scene, because he had spend the entire event with Cat. Looking up for answers about Lena's innocence by stepping into a gun store and then going back to the graves where Alicia and Helga were both found. The guy couldn't be at two place at the same time. Unless, he had blurred like his ex-mate had shown him to do by embracing his beast side, way more the human side of him.

Which he had been trying to show lately. That he was human, and that emotion had never left him. Never left for him and Cat. And that was love. Something such as love that he had never managed to get rid of.

"So Vincent asked them to go straight to the precinct? Hoping that I would try and re-open up the case, behind Bennett's back?" She needed to make sure, that she wasn't being fooled here.

"I don't know what what else to do. No one of us knows. Please, Tess." She shook up her head as she tried to adjust all the things she had heard by now. It was too much all at once, to take. And she needed space to think more clearly, or else she would lose her mind here. Space from the club, from the beasts, Vincent and J.T. as well. Especially him. The way they had left things after Valentine's day were a little unexplained, weird and scary. She felt scared and had left the poor sleeping guy alone into the room as she grabbed her stuff and left the place in silence.

And here, they were once again and together into the messy club. And she looked almost drawn to him and from the way he was begging her to help him, from the way his eyes were looking back at he felt the same feeling like her. Damn. Tess blinked again as she looked around, trying to remind herself whatever she was doing here, until she felt the mini camera into the back pocket of her pants as her eyes widened in sudden. It just clicked everything.

What if there were more than one found mini camera, in here? What if, Carl had put others inside? Couldn't it be? Was he even listenening to their conversation, at the moment?

And then, the phone rang.

Leaving the female cop with her thoughts, J.T. went back to his desk to get the phone, but stopped his move when Tess had forbid him to pick it up. He whirled around to see her warning features from where she was still standing to the entrance as her shaken and raising voice had stopped his move. "Don't touch it! Don't even answer it!"

"Tess?"

"Let it go to the voice-mail here..And don't make a sound, Forbes.." Tess watched him move away from the ringing phone as he raised his hands up and stepped back as she walked closer to his side, by bringing up her arms against her chest. Letting the phone ringing and ringing over and over again. Until it reached the voice-mail. J.T.'s recordered voice was heard. He gulped and cursed himself in silence hard when he had heard his own laming sounding voice over the machine. Damn. He looked like an idiot in here.

"You've reached up, professor, biolochimist and medical researcher and not to forget loser, J.T. Forbes's residence here. If I'm not answering by now, it means that I must have been drowned by my own misery about being alone here. But whatever, leave a message.." Damn, he had forgot to change his voice-mail. He had made up that message when Cat had been obsessive about finding Vincent when he was still held away, for a whole three months, when he had spent on eating only salad, cold pizza and bad coffee, all the way back and working with the security computers that Gabe had let him work with. Damn, he really missed Cat and her worried, but obsessive attitude when she used to call him over, even if it was at five am.

And speaking about computers, he had to get one of them fixed, before Gabe finds out about it and very fast. It was Tess's little accident after all. The burned keyboard had to be fixed, but how? When he felt Tess's frowning stare back to him, after she had listened to his lame recordered voice, he just brought an very smiling but guilted smile up to his face.

"J.T. It's Regan here! I know I may be disturbing you at the moment now, but I'm serious when I'm telling you this now! Carl is back and he was right here, at the park and watching me pushing Vincent, at the swings!"

"Vincent? She named her son after him?"Tess whispered back to him who just shrugged his shoulders. When they kept on listening to Regan's pleading and crying voice on the machine.

"You need to warn Vincent and the others, right now! I'm heading back to Miguel's place with Vincent. I'm not taking any chances about risking the lives of the ones that I love. Carl has gone mad and needs to be stopped!" It was seriously mad. Regan sounded determinated here which left J.T. so unsure.

"And if you and Vincent can't both do it, I'll be doing it myself!" Ok. That was bad enough here. Regan sounded like she wanted justice and that she'll do it on her own.

"Woah. That sounds bad here.."The two of them were both feeling bad after Regan had hanged up.

"It is. So pack up.." J.T expected anything but that answer from Tess. She looked like something had hit her up a nerve. Maybe it was him, here. It was serious, enough.

"What? What the hell, are you talking about?"

"You heard the lady here, She's pretty desparate here and wants to do the unthinkable here. By tracking her husband, on her own." She cleared up her throat as she proceded back."So for your safety, you better rent an motel room for the meantime, while I'll talk with Ward about thinking by putting all of you into a safe house, and to talk about what happened back in California and track the precinct back there.."Okay, this was far too much for her to handle since Tess wasn't the kind of person who was about to break down in any minute. But now she was. Damn, she was worried about him.

"Tess-"

"I'm not taking chances either, J.T.. So you and your dog better pack up and come with me. Because I don't think we are alone here.."Her worried gaze at meet his, to let him know that there was more than it seemed to be. She shushed him with one warning finger to her lips and rose her other hand to point up the room and everywhere. J.T. had no idea to what she was referring now, but after a minute, he did know as his eyes widened in shock. That bastard.

He had been watched by someone. All of them had figured out from her ten year of experience as a working cop.

Oh God. He just realized it. Carl did went into his club, and did not only put one mini advice and camera here, but had plugged too many of them here.

He was in danger. And not only him, but Regan, her son, Miguel, Jeff, Ed and Ash, but also Vincent as well. They were under a madman's deadly threat here.

...

"Eva! Eva, open the door!"The blonde with loose curls hair woman tied up to a messy ponytail, dropped the satin black bustier and the one she planned to wear for tonight, onto her purple sheets and went up to open up the door. It was noon already and wanted to order something to eat while she was still free, before she could take up any other clients, before tonight. And since, it was noon, she decided to stay into her pink nightgown and white robe cloth which she left it untied. Be lazy and without any make-up, for once.

Not giving a quite damn, at all.

"At least, please tell me that you've gotten my pizza order and I'll let you in.."She let out annoyed by an frightened Anna who rushed into the room and the poor girl looked like she had cried into her sleep hust to look up to her green and blooshot eyes. Her long hair wasn't brushed as her cheeks were heated up with mascara that had dried, along with it. She wore a long sleeveless black turtle neck with blue jeans. Eva sighed as she closed back the door as Anna's voice tone couldn't hide the fear from it or like it was about to thrown away.

"You haven't heard?" Heard what? Like she had cared. The blond haired woman turned around as she crossed her arms against her chest, facing Anna.

"Like?"

"The new hitman had hit Natasha, last night!"At this name, Eva's annoyed expression had slowly changed into being concerned. She really didn't expected any of this.

"How come you've know-"

"And it was pretty violent..I heard the screams coming from downstairs. Natasha was begging Aya to stop the pain, but the hitman kept on hitting and whipping her, all over and over again!"No. Not Natasha. That girl had always followed the rules ever since she was brought here with Olga. Wouldn't hurt a mouse, at all. She always had done everything right to whosever plan and nobody ever said a word about a bad behavior or an mistake coming from her.

How about the drugs?

"Is she still using?"

"What do you mean?"After making sure that her door was locked from any ears, Eva looked back the worried girl as she added back, with much more precaution, this time.

"Heroin. Did she had any problems with the drugs, lately?"

"You think it's about that?"It could be anything, true. However, if Natasha had asked or demanded someone like a costumer to give her drugs, like heroin, it could be bad enough. Expecially when it might from the streets. Illegal stuff from the streets. Like a drug dealer that could had made a complaint to the hitman under an alias.

And of course, Ayaka didn't take that complaint like a piece of salt. It didn't mattered if it came from good or bad, she did what she was ordered to do. Without any hesitation. The rest of the girls needed to stay on alert here, or else they might end up like Natasha. Bad enough to move around. It gave her shivers to just think about it.

"I've seen her shooting up herself in hiding, before. It wouldn't surprised me if she got into trouble and that the new hitman had firgured out, about it.."Eva went to sit down on her bed when Anna remained on her feet. Completely freaking out.

"Ayaka. I don't know what she is capable of.."

"Let's go and check on her. We'll see if she's still capable on going out tonight. If she's too weak because of her wounds, someone's gonna have to replace her.." Natasha might be too weak at the moment being and not walk or move from her room. Someone would have to replace her.

"Olga?" Eva just shook her head. With Gretchen, Alicia, Helga and Lena gone, they weren't many left to hold the bar. Esperanza was gone, Lina was getting older and sicker and as for Natasha, she might end up dead, if she kept on shooting herself with drugs and that was against the rules from the contract she had sighed. Anna, Olga and herself wouldn't be able to keep on doing never ending shifts forever. And keep Kayla safe, any longer. Because Kayla was too young to be exposed and the girls wanted her to be safe from any harm, until she'll reach up to be eighteen.

And for a weird reason, Lena had known about it. She managed to find out how Kayla had got herself involved into the club and may had wanted to to contact the cops, somehow. No wonder she ended up silenced by someone evil..

And Ayaka? She was getting too much infomation that can put Anna, herself and the rest of the girls in danger. Àlvarez may not be able to let her cover his own ass, for too much long.

"Can't. She's too occupied at the bar with Lina.." Eva shook her head. Olga could barely speak english, so it was out of the question here. Then, she watched Anna's eyes going wild with fear.

"Don't tell me you are thinking about Kayla?"Oh damn. The girl was too young and too quiet which made her look more vulnerable to many men, at the it was the reason of why they had to keep her away, until she would become an adult.

"Don't worry, she's too young for this date, she is having with. I'm gonna replace her and Natasha, for tonight.."

"You're thinking about doing two jobs at the same time? What about Ayaka, wouldn't she freak out about this?"had freaked out Anna. The red haired woman had a date tonight and for the whole night. So that left Eva to do the whole job here. Picking up the rest of the puzzle for others. And no, Ayaka doesn't need to know anything about that or else Eva would have to through the same torture that Natasha had go through last night.

"No. Natasha's date is at the very early evening and Kayla quite late. Around at one am of the morning. I don't think Aya would notice the difference.."And she won't know a thing, at all. As long the costumer hadn't seen any photo of any girls, it should be okay. Nor Kayla or Natasha would be exposed. And the hitman would be out of the way.

"What if Kayla's date notice something different and notify about yourself not being Kayla?"Eva just chuckled at this.

"Dear Anna. You just worry far too much here. I got everything under control. Those guys hadn't seen a picture of Kayla or Natasha at all. So the chances that might happen are very slim."She waved up with her hand, as a way to make the red head girl relax."And besides, there's a rumor about Aya being invited to the opera by Òliver, tonight, so I wouldn't be worried.." Having nothing else to fear but to feel worried about their own asses,Anna closed her eyes and tried to breath in and out as it was a way to calm herself. She decided to change the subject, by gossiping up about Àlvarez's new flame.

"He hadn't given up on her, didn't he?"Or more like Òliver had followed or tried to attract her with anything he could attract a woman. Like sending flowers or chocolates or even writing english or spanish poems. Damn, the man was falling hard for the cold hearted Ayaka who kept rejecting them, ever since that night when the two of them were in bed and somehow the thing they both had shared together was violent. Ended up bad. Ayaka did stated that she was HIV-positive, however Òliver didn't looked bottered by her illiness. Cause he really wanted her into his bed.

And despite having the life of his wife into his hands, he wanted another partner with feline features. A woman who looked like she had known too much and looked too much familiar. Ayaka had managed to make Lina feel jealous by jumping into Òliver's arms before, until the ex-stripper turned her attention onto someone else's eyes. The new doctor, Vincent Keller.

Who only seems to have eyes on Ayaka, from what she had heard from downstairs. An haunted and wicked chemistry was smelling around whenever they were into the basement and together. The way their eyes were locked and demanded desire to unleash.

"Nope and despite her being sick and even at the worse state, he wouldn't give up..So, if he can't have into his bed, then he'll try to woo her. Which it might probably fail, since someone else has eyes on her.."

"Like who?"

"Keller, the new doc into the block. I heard the guy has eyes on her and must feel like having an heart attack or wants to rip Òliver apart. Whenever Òliver tried to make a move on Aya, Keller would look like he wants kill him in a heartbeat.."Eva stretched her arms up and yawned."I mean she's quite hot. It wouldn't mattered Keller goes for her.."

"And Lina in all this?"

"That old hag? She won't last after a few years. I mean, the bitch is dying. And despite trying to stop her temptation for Keller, she is also jealous of Aya and suspect her to be fake.."All rumors could come out Lina having an flame for Keller as he often takes good care of her. Being sick and all of it. Lina kept herself from falling into Keller's arms. Because she was afraid of infecting him with her sickness. A death sentence as she often declared, despite the improvement of the medication and control over the disease, it was still a threat. Lina had always managed to keep herself from men, until Keller had walked into the club. And Ayaka attracting his attention, made things hard to control her fury. Eva had witnessed these moments and only could scoffed about it.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I mean, come on! Who wants to jump into a sick person for sex, when you know might get it? Ayaka let herself do it with Òliver, for the first time and nothing bad had happened..She is faking at being sick or else if she really was sick, she wouldn't had fell into his bed even with protection.."Anna had widened her eyes at this point. Could Ayaka be fake? Oh God. If she turned out to be fake, she could espose many keeping secrets here, including the fact that they were hiding Kayla here.

"But Lina is not faking it.."

"She is not faking it..But can't stop to have some open desire for Keller.."When Anna didn't say anything else, Eva added again to her confused face.

"I'm telling you-Ayaka is faking at being sick and she looks far too confident here. Like she owns the entire universe.."Eva stood up from the bed, with a frown that had taken from her smirking face. "And the more she knows about us, the more trouble we would have later on.."

"Like Lena.."Anna had said back as the blond haired woman nodded to this fact. No, they did not killed Lena but they had known that she had known about a few important things that shouldn't had spread from the beginning.

"Yeah. Just like Lena who knew too much about us..So, we better be careful here and conversation stays here and doesn't go anywhere else than here.."

...

"It's bad, isn't it?"Sitting on the examinate bench with her hands covering her breasts, Lina almost felt naked with her back exposed to the light. Letting the doctor examine her with his flashlight as he kept watching for any other anormal symtoms to be seen. She could feel his eyes peering all over her bare and exposed back. She felt him shaking. It was weird.

"How long, you had those spots on your back?" He ignored her question with another question. And coming from it, it did looked bad enough. However, he didn't wanted her to feel discouraged by saying that she won't get any better, if she doesn't consider going to a real hospital, to see a real doctor that has enough experience with HIV people than he does.

"A week or maybe a couple of few days. Heard that Kaposi's Sarcoma doesn't have a cure, so I better be prepared to the worse to come in any time soon."She nervously chuckled back. Feeling so little while this man looked twice big than her.

"You could have called your doctor-"

"I don't have any doctor, Vincent. The only doc I have is you.."She couldn't helped but to sound desparate here. She was a poor woman now with a disease who couldn't stop itself from appearing. Ever since her hand injury had healed two weeks ago, other symptoms had made their way in. Including reddish and purplish lesions were starting to appear onto her bare back. Her throat had started to swell and she was getting a little paler, not to mention she was losing a bit of weight luscious enough to believe that she was having a problem going on and despite what Vincent could do wasn't goona be enough here.

"Sorry to say this. But I don't have any experience on HIV people, here. I'm just trying to help-"

"That explains the purple spot you have on the back of your neck?"Lina cut him right into the middle of his line. Like she had known better and felt him stepping back from her. She managed to look from behind to see him getting rid of the gloves with a growl, trying to not look up to her. Like he had been caught in a lie. Anger covered his tired features. He looked frustrated and lost into his mind. He was acting weird, lately. Dark circles under his eyes were the same as the clothes he always wore and suited him well. That black sleeveless shirt were carressing his strong abs, biceps and big broaded shoulders, all muscles. Oh God.

She wanted him so badly, despite trying to stay away from him.

She had seen him scratch the back of his neck two days ago, like something bothered him, but when she got way more closer eye, she had figured out about what bothered him. A purple lesion was on the back of his neck. It did looked small, but it was frightening for her. She was scared for was being careful with everyone here. Even putting an end to sex and forbid herself from kissing anyone, including guys.

But it wasn't easy with Vincent.

She stood up and stepped a few steps to conclur if the the fear thought was true. Which it looked like it. It looked so small, but it might the beggining of an horrifying nightmare. Her breath felt like it was caught inside of her throat. Shocked as her eyes couldn't hide the fear. Oh God. No, it can't be. It was impossible. She was being careful, or she thought so.

"I'm sorry, maybe I shouldn't-"

"Don't be sorry.."

"Don't tell me, that I've infected-"

"No. You didn't infected me. I must I have fell, a few days ago. Long night, I guess.."He couldn't control the rage from his voice as if he got angry at her. Which was unexpected to be. Too tired, but still managed to make her erection go mad. Damn these hormones! She had no right to feel wasn't interested into her, even though she tried to make him like her, he didn't wanted anything to do with her.

Despite that it was the first time she seen him getting angry here. It worried her, that he was getting frustrated for someone else who was unable to return his feelings back to him. Ayaka. Somehow this woman was making him feel had known from the way the two of them were staring at each other, a few weeks before. Like an old and broken couple. Trying to recollect with her relief, Lina tried something else that may be a part of his worn out and angry behavior.

"The new hitman went hard on Natasha, no?"Vincent stood silent for a moment, at that name. Lina saw him shiver for a minute. Like a shocking vibration went through him.

"In a way. I had managed to slow down her pain with the strongest painkillers I could find here. Not much strong, but enough."He said back, but too fast like had just happened lately. But he still looked away from her."Tried to stop the bleeding, desafecting, sewing her up and bandaging her wounds with everything I could..I spent the night with her at her room, awake, making sure she was recovering slowly."He released an shaking sigh out as he added."I just didn't see time passing by, so fast. That's all."Another lie, again. It wasn't Natasha's condition that troubled him. It was something else. She could sense from his shivering breathing like the place was cold for him. Or maybe he was the one feeling cold here, not the place. She watched Vincent closing his eyes shut as he brought two fingers to the bridge of his nose, while his other hand was on the wall. The man looked like he was having an headache or was in pain.

"Vincent, are you okay?"She touched his shoulder. Trembling shoulder as he kept on trying to control his laboring breath and relaxing his racing heartbeat that could be heard from this isolated place.

"I'm fine. Dress up and you can go now. Try to get a few days of rest. If it doesn't get any better, try to contact Àlvarez. You know the guy more than I do.."

"Vincent, I-"

"Or stop the drugs, they might be the reason of why you're having the spots. The secondary effects, I mean.."Trying to compose with his breathing, he looked back at her, from his shoulder. Lina looked up to his eyes, with concern. Bloodshot and drained eyes were staring right back at her. He hadn't shaved, but he did looked pale . Like all the doctors that came here and left the club, not being themselves anymore. They've left the club, like living ghosts would leave their graves. It was the start of an nightmare. Nightmares that would certainly would start to kill him inside, like it all had been done to the others doctors.

"What happened, Vincent, about last night?"Too exhausted, he only shook his head waving at her to not worry.

"Nothing. I'm just too drained now."He blurted out with a sigh. Another lie, again. He turned his head back from her concerned eyes."I need to get out for a minute. I'll be back after lunch.."He waved with his hand as he left the room. Leaving the topless naked barmaid alone with her thoughts here. Until something had clicked here.

Ayaka was behind it. She was sure of it. Lina had a feeling that the new hitman was more than a simple woman here. She was vengeful woman who had once stole Vincent's heart and left him into pieces.

...

Left there at the corner at the quiet bar where he sat with a glass with cold scotch on the rocks, he watched closely the ex-soldier coming out from the basement left with his own thoughts. The man looked exhausted and worn out. Like he was coming from a very living hell and pale enough to look like a ghost.

Damn, there was one left. One beast left here and somewhere close. Àlvarez was wrong and with the new hitman wearing the necklace made things so much easier here. It could track and kill a beast, from afar. Slowly or faster, one way to another. And one beast was here, he had recognized the signs once he saw one walking here. Vincent Keller. Two ways to die, one faster and one slowler.

And Keller looked like he choosed the hard one here as he tried to control the urging golden orbs from showing up to the light. From his sitting spot here, he stared up the troubled man rushing the other way at the left side of the bar to rush up to the bathrooms as he almost passed into him.

Yeah. Vincent Keller seemed to get weaker, on everyday he worked up here. He could hear his racing heartbeat telling him how scared he was, by staying inside of that hauntening basement, where torture never ended. It was already starting to affect him and quick. No point of return here. Keller was not only losing his mind, but also losing control, by staying down there any longer.

And somehow he had finally had catched up the beast right here. The only last one left alive. A fine smille came up to his face when he just realized this fact here.

'Things are just getting too much easy around here, lately..'

He needed Ayaka to put the beast away from his misery, if not, he'll do it on his smirked as he watched the man rushing into the bathrooms in a hurry. 'Our paths would cross up again, Keller. Just wait and see..'

Oh yeah, things were just getting started here.

...

Oh God. He needed air. Desesparetely needed air than ever and staying with Lina was making things harder. The purple and reddish spots on her bare back was making him feel nauseous than he ever felt felt his breath had got stucked up to his throat when he had seen them and couldn't stop himself from shaking. Lina had more than four on her back and looked like they were ready to bleed. He wasn't supposed to feel weakened by it, but he did.

The lesion on his foot had faded its pain now. However, Lina did told him that he had another on the back of his neck, which did not made him feel good. Made him freeze with fear.

Something strange was going on here. Whomever had called Àlvarez that night was right. He might die. Soon or later.

Vincent bursted into the bathroom and rushed inside of one of the cabins. He kneeled down to the toilet and throw his stomach's contents out. Oh God, it didn't felt any good, at all. He never felt sick from before, at all, but to just think of what he had been through last night made his stomatch spinning around. Damn sitting right next to a poor lying and sedated Natasha all night had been hard enough and even though he had done 'never ending shifts' back at the ER, it wasn't even close to what was worse, in all this? It was all done by Catherine's doing aka cold hearted Ayaka. He had known she was going undercover, but this was going far too far here. It was by pure hatred and somehow he felt that Cat was enjoying by torturing these , he felt so horrible as he kept on gagging and coughing out. As he was done threwing up, Vincent sat back down on the floor, and pulled some paper toilet to wipe out the rest of his messes from his mouth, before throwing back into the toilet. He leaned his head to the wall as he closed up his eyes and took a minute to think. A little more clearly to the situation he was facing now.

Natasha was the first. Who else was gonna be next? Olga was too silent, that blond haired girl too busy, at the moment. That red haired woman Anna who had a strong resemblence to Tori looked wicked and clueless. And then there was Kayla. A girl whom he had never seen before but had heard the name around the club. Oh wait! He had seen it, printed on a door.

But why was she kept in hiding? Unless, she was under age and was kept protected by the girls from exposure. It could be an theory to consider, though. Did Catherine had known about it? Had she seen all the girls here and present? If she caught them by keeping a lie and behind her back, it could ended up badly. But what if it was Child Trafic, like he had heard Àlvarez saying that they were brought up here as it was demanded.

Or worse, she might expose them all to the cops or to the FBI, knowing they often dealt with Child Trafic cases from years. What about Lena, had she known about it and was silenced because her knowing into the secret? Could this be true? Many voices were coming up into his head that drove him mad. He needed to be sure.

Never mind. He just needed to keep in mind that Natasha would have to be watched for a while, in order for her to heal proprely and slowly. Before he could make any major decision here, like sending her into the closest hospital and so that it would start the demanding questions. Maybe it was the reason why Lina refused to see a real doctor, in fear to be turned down maybe because of not having any medical records or any assurance or money.

He needed to ask her about Kayla, before Catherine finds out about the 'Child Trafic thing' going on to the club. And the red necklace thing was making things way harder. It was slowly make him lose control or made him hold on onto a silencing and invisible pain. Like chest pains, for an example.

Vincent pushed himself up with a grunt as he pushed the door and made his way to the washbowl, as he brought two fingers to his nose as he kept his eyes closed shut as if he had an headache. He refused to look up to the mirror above the sink as he opened the cold handler to wash up his washed up his face with cold water with more than two times, as he gasped in relief over and over as he felt himself getting better as he tried to get over the anxiety over and over. But as he brought up his hands to his face, he frozed, feeling something else random through the contact.

His breath caught up in fear, Vincent snapped his eyes open wide and stared at his right drenching and shaking exposed palm up, where he noticed another lesion down onto his wrist, in shock. Oh No.Lina was right about in one thing about Karposi's Sarcoma. And even if it wasn't. There still was no cure about getting rid of it and not only it was that matter that bothered him, it was that necklace. That necklace that Catherine had started to wear ever since the beginning of her undercover was slowly starting to envid him. He didn't beasted out after that incident with Tori, ever since. But what if, it was slowly starting to kill him inside just like the guy had told Àlvarez on the phone?

Or maybe both? He felt like a dead man here, to just think about it. But he needed to talk to Cat.

...

"Cannot talk for the moment. I have an meeting with Ward today. Emergency calls. Gonna text you back, later!" Cat read Tess's sudden text on her phone as she walked upstairs after fifty minutes of jogging out onto the cold streets wearing a black winter coat and worn out sneakers despite the snow. She wanted to start the day with a long nice and shower, change clothes, put on the precious red necklace back and to keep on going on finding on Àlvarez's tracks the sooner, the better as they say.

And to get out of here. It was starting to get on her nerves. The killing and torturing thing was making a habit to her having Vincent around wasn't much easy, either. When she reached upstairs, she watched two shadows through the corner and talking to each other at the front door. Anna and Eva.

But it was Anna, that was making her feel boiled here. Like fire. Because she reminded her of Tori, but only a little trashy than did look the ex-heiress. The two girls looked like they were hiding something from the way it looked up there. With Eva looking from left to right, before she could put an hand on Anna's shoulder as if it was a way to comfort the red head and trashy girl. Like an ninja would do, Cat put her phone to her coat's pocket and stepped on the girls's way as she could hear them talking.

"Don't worry about anything at all. I'll be taking care of the rest.."Anna nodded back, until her green orbs had caught up something that was slowly coming closer to them, wich made her freeze once she had known who was coming to their direction. More trouble was coming to their way.

"Are you sure, it's okay?"had added Anna still looked unsure from Cat's approaching movements. Like she felt osberved by the air, Eva shifted her brown orbs to her left side again, but only to find out that the new hitman was coming closer to their private conversation here. Too much for intimacy here through the hallway here. Eva turned her attention right back to her colleague, with a firm smile.

"Positive. I have handled two jobs before when I was new here. I can do it, once again.."She had answered back nodding her head towards an too familiar person who was walking and listenening to their conservation now, probably. But when Anna tried to turn her feet away from the stranger, the blond haired girl's hand dropped down to her arm with a tight hold. Like she was telling her to not run or to show fear at someone who shouldn't be listenening to their 'Chit chat talk'.

Especially Ayaka.

Anna looked back at Eva, getting a little worried than the first time she came up here. "Eva?"

"You can trust me.."She had added back with a warning tone to her voice. Something fishy was going on here from what Cat could see as she got more closer to the two girls.

"What's going on?" The two girls jumped back at her voice as if they were about to get punished here from seeing each other, like lovers would usually sneak out to be two of them turned theirs heads towards the hitman who was waiting for answer.

"Nothing bad here, I'm telling you. Anna and I were just having an conversation here, about her date..Heard he would take her to the opera, tonight.."

"Opera?"

"Yeah, I know it was kinda a little too much when he asked me out, last night. But since I'll get an double pay here with him, I had accepted his proposal this morning..."So this is where things lead up to now. Everything done for money. Cat tried to stay in control, by following up with her story.

"Well, that's good..I don't see anything bad in here.."Anna shrugged her shoulders, nervously like would do an ten year old kid.

"The only thing is that he comes from the russian mafia and to just think about it and going alone with him makes me feel insecure. With the reputation he has.."It did looked bad that Anna was aked to go on a date with a bad old man here, now. Especially if the guy was coming up from bad blood.

"If he does scares you that much, then why did you accepted his offer?"However, it was Eva's turn to talk here as the red head head had tried to open up her mouth, but the sexy and glaringly woman took over.

"Anna had already told you-She had accepted because of the money and the sex. It's her pay that only interests her, not the date. Doesn't matter if it is a castle or a ballet. The needing of sex from an old and desparate and vulnerable man, was all it counted, that's it! He told her that she looks a lot like Windsor's kid.."So they had meet before. That was the reason here. The old man wanted someone who could pass for the late Curt Windsor's daughter. Why, because he had an weird obsession with her? Or maybe Curt had owned him, alot of unresolved things, from before?

"And how do you know that?" Cat had followed up looking up to ashamed Anna and to an frustrated and less makeup Eva here, directly.

"Anna and I talk alot to each other here, if it's a crime to you-"

"No, it's not.."If the girls needed to talk with each other, it really didn't mattered her. Cat turned her attention to the red head girl again."And you need a chaperon to cover your back? Like me?" Fidgeting nervously here, Anna looked up at the hitman girl, almost suttering up to her glaring stare.

"I heard rumours about Àlvarez that might be taking you to the opera, tonight-"

"But since the guy is too busy at the hospital and probably trying to save his face from exposure, Anna thought you could bring someone else instead.."had cut in Eva. So Àlvarez was planning to take her on a date? Did he wanted her to prove to her that their so-called relationship could move on going stronger, since sex wasn't a good idea, after all. Trying to look interested, Cat remained on her feet as she wanted to know more about the opera date. She had heard things of how it could look so magical by going over there and so strucked with amusement. Just like Cher's character into The Moonstruck movie fall over the moon when she had first walked into the place with a less depressing Nicholas Cage's kind of guy.

"Like who?"

"The new doctor. Vincent Keller as an replacement. I mean with him being that big and build like a knight and being with you, it shouldn't cost a problem to anybody here.."had snickered Eva. What on earth were they talking about? Cat just narrowed her eyebrows in wonder. If the girls were making all this up, to just get rid of her in any moment or not.

They'll gonna have to pay, if it was a way to get rid of her. After all, they were being watched by hidden cameras here and hopefully, it could be used as an evidence to the cops. She could be exposed for ordering torture to the girls, but with their contracts handled over, it could cover her as an excuse. The girls would be exposed as Àlvarez as well and justice would be brought up to Lena, whose life is still holding on, by being brave, but might end, if Àlvarez ever finds her.

"What makes you think that he'll ever come up with me or that I even would want to cover your ass, up there at some opera? So that you would want to show off your ass to some old and vulnerable man, in the meantime?" Where an thousand of people would be there, sitting there with their expensive dark or grey tuxedos and elegant gowns. Cat would feel herself exposed up there and it wouldn't be any better with Vincent. What would people think of the 'War hero guy' sitting up there with her as they would both watch and listen to some opera, without even falling alsleep? An moving language that she couldn't even understand herself, at all. Not sure, he would understand, either. They couldn't even stand to each other now. It wasn't it like before, where everything had been so easy, despite the hard times they had to go through for seeing each other, in private. All this was gone.

"It's not what I meant-"had tried to say Anna who was fighting with her words here, when Eva had cut her up again, but way more frustrated this time. She had enough going around circles now. It did looked like a set up here, by Eva who liked to take on the strings here and leaving Anna almost speechless here. For Anna, Eva looked a boss and a boss who seriously needed a smoke, seeing how she acted looked like she wanted to blow up like a threatening balloon here.

"Oh, for God's sake! Just go over there and watch this idiot with her date, so that there wouldn't be any drama after the ball.."The blond haired girl had pointed the interest person next to her side, before following up. "And it's probably obvious, Keller only seems to have eyes on you here, so a little 'wake-up call' won't kill him, if you reject him.."Trying to look stunned, even if she wasn't, Cat blinked in surprise at this point. It turned out that Vincent wasn't the one to give up so quickly, in any way. Especially the way she had been around him, by cleaning up the messes she made in the dark. In every dark corner with stained blood on the floor. Vincent did do what he was told and without asking questions and from the way he looked up at her, with shockening eyes was still marked up to her mind.

"Reject him? What makes you think so?"

"Just go up there and tell him what you think about him, before that old hag Lina has a chance to infect him, by now!"Like what? To have a moment and sex, at the end before the twelve clock of midnight could ring up and by running away just like Cinderella had done?

"So Lina is that sick as you can say? If so, then why didn't she go to see an doctor?"Cat tried to hide the fear that maybe Vincent could have had been infected by the bartender. If it was true or not. From the time she has known him, he never had gotten sick, but since he was turned into a beast and being rewired by her father, anything unusual could happen, soon or later. It was said that the incurable virus status was found into an gorrilla's body. So imagine what an deadly virus status like HIV could do to a beast. An hell of a mess.

"Because this bitch has no assurance and what's worse, in all this? It's because she has a file with the cops. So basically she's still a wanted person, despite all the 'Child and Human Trafic' accusations that had been dropped before.."had spitted out Eva, angrily back to her face. Say that again? That barmaid was a wanted person for Child and Human Trafic?

"It's what they say here-"had tried blurt out an very insecure Anna here, but once again, Eva had cut her off with her hand helding the girl from saying anything else. After all, she was her bossy girl when it came to say anything. Like a lawyer would cut off her client from saying anything else that would get her into trouble.

"However, it's all rumours. You really don't need to believe in them, though. It's all rumours.." And hopefully they wouldn't be escaped from the hidden cameras stucked to every corner of every walls here. Where Anna and Eva were being watched and heard, at the moment. So Cat had to be very careful with her own words here.

"So, what do you say about joining Anna and her date to the ball with Keller by your side, tonight?"had added Eva trying to calm down after she had blown up her anger back up to the hitman. Be careful, Cat, had thought the woman in disguise here. One bad word could end up bad here.

"Look, before I make any decision here, I'll have to call Àlvarez to make sure that whatever you just said to me, was true. But first, I need to take off of these clothes and jump into a hot and good shower. I need to think about it and I would give you answer, later on.."She had explained before she walked away by passing by them, like they were invisible, to her room. Where she felt both of her suspicious stares behind her back.

"You don't believe us-"

"Damn right, that I don't!"had cut off Catherine as she looked up at them with a hard stare that could send shivers through theirs bodies. "Cause, other than Àlvarez here. I don't trust any of you here. Cause I know what kind of wild creatures you are made of and Keller, you meant? I don't trust him either. So have a good day. Ladies.."And without any other word, she opened up the door widely enough and slammed back with a loud shutting thud, leaving the girls silent but on their guards.

"You think that she noticed something?"Anna looked so unsure as they both watched Ayaka going inside of her room, but Eva didn't looked worried, but more confident than she should be. If Ayaka had caught them up in a lie, they could be punished for protecting another young member here. They decided to keep Ayaka away from Kayla, as best as they could do. If Kayla was found by the hitman or by the doctor, they could end up into a very deadly end. Look what happened to Lena..

"I don't think so. But I can say that she looked quite stunned to hear of that hold hag may had or not had infected the new doctor here. It spooked her.."Anna looked back at the blond haired woman who managed to put a smirk to her face here, as she kept watching the hitman disappearing inside of her room.

"What do you mean?"

"That she may have feelings for the doctor here. It all was marked up to her face, like she had been caught up to a lie.."Somehow, she had noticed the hitman girl growning up a little too soft when Vincent Keller's name had been brought up to the scene here. And it amused her.

...

"That she may have feelings for the doctor here. It was all marked to her face, like she had been caught up to a lie. It's very obvious.." Leaning back to the door, Cat couldn't shake up these words from her mind. Who had known that two brainless girls like Eva and Anna had figured out about her feelings she had or maybe still has with Vincent? Wasn't it obvious to anyone or was she just an opened up book?

Could it still be true? No! Stop it and get over it, stupid girl! You said you were done! But the denying words had only made her doubt and couldn't ease up her uneasiness about Eva's words concerning Vincent. She shook up her head, thinking that she had other better things to do here, than worrying if her ex-boyfriend of hers has or maybe doesn't have the chance to fall sick, or whatever. It just wasn't her freaking buisiness anymore. Cat needed to call Àlvarez to make him tell if Eva's words were true. That, he really had wanted to take her up the opera. She dragged her phone out and started to dial his number, which ended had followed up by its voicemail.

"You have reached Òliver Àlvarez's phone. If I'm not available at moment, it means that I'm rather stuck in sugery with a patient. You can always call me back..Ciao!"

Great. What a way to run away from its problems by putting a nice smilling smile to his face here, from what she imagined through his voice. The evil is not here and nowhere to be found. So, it was impossible to reach him up and confirm his own story. With a angry moan, she dialed another number and put the phone to her ear and waited..Hoping that no one here would hear her talking on the phone. She heard Tess's annoying tone through the line.

"Hey, Cat..I'm a little busy here, mind if you call me back-"

"Hey Tess, what would you say if I was told to go the opera to watch over one of the girls going out there with her date?" She waited for a moment before her partner had followed back with a curse.

"I'd say, you'd be crazy enough to go there and listen to screaming nonsense people.."

"And if I was going up there with Vincent? How would you react?"And Tess's mood didn't changed at all.

"I'd say-It would be the dumbest and stupid decision you ever made..What, you think Àlvarez had set you up down?" It could be a very good explaination here. It looked like Anna and Eva were hidding something here and she didn't liked for a bit. It was a bad feeling here.

"I don't know, I can't reach him up. I heard rumours from the girls that he had wanted to take me over to a date, like going to a ball. But dropped to go with me, for a patient.."Àlvarez's missing pressence was questioning her up. What the hell, was he doing up by now?

"Okay. So?"

"So, I don't know. I feel it's like a trap, that I'm being setting up by moving away to watch over someone with someone else that I can't get along or.."Cat didn't liked the way she had caught up by catching Eva and Anna talking to each other and the way they were doing it, looked like they were keeping a huge secret. And being send away with Vincent didn't made things much more easier, at all.

"Can't stand to be with. I know the feeling and I have seen the video-With you torturing the girl and Vincent picking up the pieces. Can't say, it was my cup of tea here. It was very disgusting.." Looks like Tess had witnessed Natasha's torture from the hidden cameras. Cat thought she had understood from the beggining. It was all part of the undercover job here. To get justice for Lena here.

"It's the hitman's job, Tess. I had no other choice. I was ordered to do this by a client.."She tried to defend herself, even if it didn't made her partner feel any better.

"Yeah. I know. Look, I can't really talk that much now. I just stepped out from Ward's office as I told him that I needed a safe house for someone.."

"Who?" That was interesting to hear. Other than having Medina on her ass or trying to follow her up to her undercover work, Tess always managed to put work first, but couldn't stop her voice from shaking this time. Her partner was worried for someone close to her.

"J.T.. And a few others of his pals, including Vincent too. It's a long story, Cat. I really don't know what can happen to them, especially J.T. and that worries me..You know?" That shocked her for an instant. What, J.T was in trouble? How did it happen? She felt bad leaving her partner alone to deal with heavy things like these.

"I know..I'm sorry for not helping you out.."But Tess had cut her out, before she could say anything else. What a way to sway things out, Vargas.

"It's fine. I'll find a way out into this. I told the guy to pack things up with his dog and to rent an motel room, for the time being whatever he like it or not, until Ward has an open green light for an safe house. I don't know much about the date thing, going on here, but I think you should go and watch over-"

"Anna.."A red haired girl with dark clothes that looked too much like Tori Windsor, but way trashier and messier.

"Yeah, Anna. You go up there with Vincent, cause there's no way that you'd go on your own here. Call it, a double you like it or not..."However Tess had told her to go up there and to give it a try, though. Who knows, maybe Anna's date looked more dangerous that she thought. An old man from the russian mafia. "And leave your phone under record and we'll see if Anna has a reason to feel scared.."had added back Tess with a sigh.

"Okay." Guess, she had no other choice here but to go there with Vincent. She needed someone strong and build by her side, if something goes wrong, either way. And if Àlvarez couldn't go with her, then she has no ther choice but to go up with Vincent. The two of them would have to watch over Anna, tonight.

"I'll try to keep an eye into the club, while you're gone and inform you if something weird is going wrong..Like you said, it could be a trap like the girls want you out of the way.."

"That's what I was thinking, earlier.." Good cover, girl. She could always count on Tess like they both used to, before the beast drama had come up, like almost a year ago..

"Right. I'll text ya, later. See ya.." Tess had hung up her phone a little too fast. Leaving her alone with her thoughts and her head leaning back to the door as she closed up her eyes as she let out a tired up sigh. Oh God. J.T. was having problems already and hopefully, not about beasts. Please don't let it happen. Anything else than 'Beast hunting.' The guy had suffered enough because of Vincent and deserved way better than to be into trouble. But for the time being, Cat needed a shower and to start thinking of how she was going to ask Vincent out on a date. A double date. And hoped that she won't be regretting any of this.

If he could still look up to her, without frightenening the way, he looked up at her, from last night. She felt like he had stared up at her like some bad and avenging ghost that wanted to kill every lying and human being alive.

And especially, red haired and troubled women like Anna and Tori.

...

Ouch. That one was hard to finish and not my favorite chap. I can't believe that this fanfic has been going on for three years already! That's just Wow! Thank you so much beasties!

Damn, I hate having writer's blocking up here. I want to take things slowly and I really don't want to butch this story too fast here, so I'll be taking my time on writing this story. I have an idea for the ending, for sure, but I want to take my time and slowly without damaging anything that I might regret by doing up here.

The next chap would be and focussed on VinCat's date with a cliffhanger that you wouldn't expect to happen. As much as I love VinCat here, I also like to write about J.T. and Tess here, especially when the guy is into deep trouble now and not only him, but with Regan being discovered here with her son by her crazy and hunting husband. I really hope things won't turn out bad for her or for Cat who might be seeking into deep trouble here. And things for Vincent aren't getting any better, at all. The secret that Anna and Eva are hiding might be brought up later and the fact that Lena had known about it, would explode things, including for Lina. Thank you for your support, beasties!
