It was a bright summer day during our summer break. Yuji and I had planned to spend the day today doing something together. Yuji had insisted that we spend the day at the amusement. So we had settled on that. I left my house a little a bit ago, so that I'd be able to catch the train that was going to the park. After I had arrived, I began to stand by the front gate and patiently wait for my beloved's arrival.

~Ten Minutes Later~

I had been standing by the gate for around ten minutes now, waiting for Yuji. He's not usually late. But I just assumed that he had last track of time or missed the train. After waiting there for a few more minutes, I heard someone call my name.

"Shana!"

I looked in the direction I heard the voice coming from and saw Yuji running to me quickly. When he finally got to me, stopped and put his hands against his knees panting trying to catch his breath. I held him by his chest and back and brought him over to a bench so he could rest.

"Are you okay, Yu-kun?" I asked in a slightly worried voice.

"I...ran...all the way...here. I lost track of time." He said in between breaths.

I sigh and bop him on the head lightly and give him a half smile. "Idiot. You could have just told me you were going to arrive late."

He put his hand behind his neck and began to chuckle nervously. "I could have, couldn't I?"

I sigh before standing back up and giving him my hand. He stands up and we make our way back to the gate and pay the admission and get our hands stamped. We begin to walk through the park looking at all of the rides and attractions trying to decide what to do first.

"So what do you want to do first?" He asked me.

"Hmm..." I began to survey the area around us right now before selecting something. "Over there."

I pointed to a ride with what looked like tea cups with a wheel in the middle. We got on the ride and it started moments later after everyone had been seated in their cups. A beep then sounded as the cups began to move. Yuji and I started to turn our wheel, causing it to rotate around and around. We were both laughing and having fun the whole time.

A few minutes later, the ride stops and Yuji and I get off. But when we get down to the walkway, I almost fall over from dizziness, but Yuji manages to catch me before I hit the ground.

"Whoa! You okay there?" He chuckled.

"Yeah. Just a bit dizzy." I said shaking my head a bit.

I heard him chuckle again before he placed a kiss on the top of my head and taking my hand again. We begin to walk around again looking for something else to catch our eye. After walking around for a bit, Yuji pointed something out.

"Hey, want to try that out?" Yuji asked.

He pointed to want looked like a slower ride that had the name of "Galaxy Wars". It looked like a slow roller coaster shooting game.

"Sure!" I agreed smiling.

When we got on the ride, the engineer handed us two toy laser rifles before starting the ride up. When we got inside the main area of the coaster track and we began to see monsters coming from all over the place. Yuji and I began to shoot them all one by one. Eventually, we see that we seemed to have defeated them all.

"We make a good team, don't we?" Yuji asked grinning.

"Yeah!" I nodded agreeing with him, but I didn't notice that there was a monster coming behind me.

"Shana, behind you!" Yuji warned.

I turned around immediately to shoot it, but I missed, but Yuji managed to hit it for me. "That was a close one." He said.

The ride ended soon and it turned out that Yuji did much better than I did considering his score and ranking was much higher than mine. His was score was over 2000 with an S rank while mine was just under 1000 with a C rank. But I still had fun regardless.

We began to walk around for a bit more looking for something that caught our attention. Eventually, Yuji pointed out something that he saw.

"Hey Shana, want to try the haunted house?"

He pointed toward an intimidating looking fun house. I caught sight of what looked like flashing lights in the window. I just sort of froze in place there for a minute before Yuji snapped me out of it and looked at me.

"We don't have to go if you don't want to, Shana. It's your choice." He said in a caring voice.

I just shake my head and gave a serious voice. "N-No. I'll go!"

He chuckled as he held my hand tightly and gave a caring look before we walked in. As we walked in, without noticing I began to hug Yuji's arm tightly but he noticed as commented on it.

"Don't worry, Shana. I'll be right here." He said in a caring voice as he placed his hand on mine.

I gave him a reassuring look and nodded. We continued to walk through the house. But so far, nothing has jumped out at us. It seemed like there was nothing in here. At least, that's what I thought. But after a bit of walking, what looked like a demon had jumped out and screamed.

"AHHHHHHHH!" I screamed loudly as I gripped Yuji's arm tightly.

I felt Yuji place his hand on mine causing me to look up at him. When I looked up at him, I was instantly put at ease. He always seemed to calm me down when I was scared. I knew he'd be there to protect me.

We continued to walk through the house. Creatures like ghosts, zombies, vampires and other things kept jumping out at us. And...every time, I would either jump, scream or yipe and grip Yuji's arm tightly. But each time, he reassured me that he was there.

After about a half hour, we finally make it out of the house where I then sigh in relief.

"That wasn't so bad now was it?" Yuji asked giving a sly look.

I give him a pouty look causing him to chuckle. He places a kiss on my forehead before we begin to walk the park more. After awhile more, we both get hungry and get some food at the main food area. Yuji orders a slice of pizza with ordering a hot dog.

"Having fun, Shana?" He asks as he finishes his food.

I nod. Tilting my head with a smile. "Of course! I always have fun when I'm with you."

"Good. Glad to hear it." He chuckled as we both stand and throw our trash away

"Hey, I'll be right back. Okay? I'm going to the girls room."

"Alright, I'll be waiting here." He said as I nod.

~Yuji's POV~

I watch Shana as she walks into the little girls room and lean up against a wall next to the entrance of the food area. But I didn't happen to notice a few girls walk up to me. One of them has black hair and the other has blonde hair.

"Hi there!" The black haired says.

I look toward the source of the voice. "Can I help you with something?"

"What's a handsome guy like you standing here by yourself?" One of them asks suggestively.

That question instantly annoyed me. It hadn't even been that long since Shana left. Either they didn't see her or they just didn't care at all and they're already starting to try and seduce me. It was most likely the latter.

"I'm not-" I get cut off.

"Come on, why don't you come with us?" The blonde haired asked trying to pull on my arm.

I snatched my arm from her grip and smoothed my jacket's sleeve out before glaring at the two girls. These two were wearing down my patience quick.

"As I was saying, I'm here with someone today. So, I'd appreciate if you'd back off and go away!" I snarl glaring.

"Oh, I see...You're playing hard to get, aren't you?" The black haired one continues.

I ball up my fist in complete frustration. What the hell was wrong with these two? What part of 'I'm here with somebody' did they not understand? Could these two really not take a hint?

"No, I'm not playing hard to get, I'm saying-"

"I'm pretty sure he said he was here with me!" I hear a familiar female voice.

~Shana's POV~

As I was coming out of the bathroom, I saw two girls with Yuji. It looked they were both trying to hit on him. I instantly started glaring in their direction. I heard the annoyance growing in his voice the closer to them I got.

"Come on, why don't you come with us?" The blonde haired asked trying to pull on his arm.

I see him snatch his arm from her grip and smooth out his sleeve as he glared at them. I could tell how low his patience was getting.

"As I was saying, I'm here with someone today. So, I'd appreciate it if you'd back off and go away!" I heard him say starting to glare at her.

"Oh, I see...You're playing hard to get, aren't you?" The black haired one continues.

I watched him ball his fist up in frustration as he dealt with those two. His patience was getting thinner the longer those two stood around trying to seduce him. They really couldn't the hint that he wanted them to leave. But that would soon change.

"No, I'm not playing hard to get, I'm saying-"

"I'm pretty sure he said he was here with me!" I glared.

Yuji along with the two girls look over toward me. I walk up to Yuji and hug his arm smiling at him with him smiling back. I turned to the girls glaring with them glaring right back.

"And you are...?" They ask trying to be smartasses.

"I'm his girlfriend. And I'm pretty sure he asked you to go away." I said with a stern voice. But I can tell they're not taking me seriously.

"YOU!? His girlfriend!?" The black haired girl begins to laugh. "That's funny!"

"Why the hell would he date a little slut like you? You're not even pretty." The blonde hair girl asked looking at her fingernails. This girl was just really pissing me off . If anybody here was a slut, it was these two. They were trying to take my boyfriend!

"Hey! You'd better watch what you say about her!" He snarled. I knew those insults toward me is what made him go off. He doesn't yell that loud, unless its something that involved me in some way.

"Don't talk about her like that again in front of me. You obviously don't know what a slut is at all, because she's far from one. Not even close. The only thing you got right at all in that sentence is that she's not pretty." My eyes widened at the comment and I began to frown. That was, until he started talking again. "She's more than pretty, she's gorgeous." That caused my smile to return.

"Oh, come on, handsome. Why don't you just leave her and come with us, huh?" The blonde said suggestive latching onto his other arm.

I smack her hand off of him and pull Yuji toward me hugging his arm tightly. Affirming that Yuji was mine. "Don't touch him! He's my boyfriend! So why don't you just back off already!?"

The blonde gets into my face and snarls at me. "Let's get several things straight right now." She said with a dark tone. "Firstly, do NOT ever touch me again or else you'll be sorry. Secondly, unless you know what's good for you, never order me around."

I feel Yuji place his hand on mine causing me to look at him. He shakes his head and whispers into my ear.

"Don't waste your energy, Shana. It's not worth it at all. Especially on someone like her." He whispered before walking in front of me glaring.

"Let me tell you several things right now." He started "First, don't you ever threathen her again in front of me or else you'll answer to me. I don't take too kindly to those who try to harm my girlfriend. Second, I've already told you numerous times to back off and leave us alone. So I think it'd be in your best interest if you left us alone."

I continue to glare at both girls with them glaring right back. Moments later, they both turn away on the heel with a huff.

"Hmph, let's go." She said walking away. "He's not even that cool or handsome anyway. I can't believe we were actually about to waste our time with a lame guy like him."

"EXCUSE ME!? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY ABOUT HIM!?" I begin to run after her, but I'm grabbed from the behind by Yuji. I struggle to get out of his grip, but fail.

"Shana, stop!" He shouted. "Calm down! Your energy isn't worth wasting on them! They're just trying to spite you!"

I stop squirming and settle down. Yuji escotes me over to a bench before he walks over to a vending machine across from where I'm sitting and brings me a bottle of water handing to me.

"Calmed down now?"

I take it from his hand and begin to chug it. I felt my blood boiling hot from all that built up anger those two caused. From them trying to steal him away from me. From them refusing to leave after being asked multiple times. And from even having the nerve to try and get a rise out of me by insulting him while they're walking away. I haven't been this angry in a long time. Once I finish the bottle of water, I crush it in my fist furiously.

"Ooooooh! Those girls piss me off! Trying to take my boyfriend after telling them multiple times to back off! And they have the nerve to call me a slut!? Argh! That just makes my blood boil! And then as they're walking away, they have the audacity to-Mmph!" I vent until I'm cut off by him placing his lips against mine.

I felt him place his hand against mine softly when I felt his lips press against mine. My eyes widened in surprised since I was caught off guard by the kiss, but soon relax into it and embrace him tightly. I felt my face heat up when he pulled back which meant that a blush had formed. I felt every bit of my anger complete disipate when kissed me. Yuji always knew how to calm me down.

"Don't let them bother you too much, alright?" He smiled warmly. "You're gorgeous and you're not even close to even being a slut at all. I don't care what they said about me because I knew they were just trying to get a rise out of you. Don't let anything they said bother you, okay? We're here on a date, let's continue to have fun."

"Thank you, Yuji..." I said as I smiled at him lovingly.

I leaned up in my seat and softly pressed my lips tightening my grip on his hand. He cups my cheek in the palm of his hand which I lean into smiling.

"So let's just forget all that ever happened, okay? I came here today on a date with my beautiful girlfriend to have fun with her for the day. Let's just continue enjoying ourselves and have fun. Sound good to you?" He places another kiss on the top of head and smiles.

I look up at him, smiling and nod. "Yeah, that sounds wonderful."

He stood from the bench pulling me up with him. "Come on, let's go have more fun."

I nod and agree with him. For the next few hours we go to more rides and more attractions. We just enjoy ourselves for the next few hours and completely forget about what happened before. We were having so much fun that we didn't even notice the sun set and that it got dark.

"Wow, I didn't even notice it get dark." I blurted out.

"It did, didn't it?" Yuji said looking into the sky.

He looked up into the sky for a few moments before I called his name.

"Yuji?" I called out.

"Hm?" He looked at me.

"Can...You and I...go on that?" I pointed at the Ferris Wheel that was a bit a ways down from us.

I watched as Yuji smiled when he saw what I was pointing at. "Sure."

We walked and went to the Ferris Wheel. After being in line for around ten minutes, Yuji and I finally manage to get into of the cars on the wheel. Yuji and I sit close together on the wheel as the door closes and the wheel begins to rotate slowly. The wheel began to rotate slowly and our car slowly lifted into the air. Eventually, we were up high enough to see the tops of buildings.

"Ah!" I gasped in delight. The city looked so beautiful all lit up at night.

"Looks beautiful, doesn't it?" I hear Yuji comment. I nod.

I feel Yuji snake his arm around my waist and pull me closer to him. I look up at him with a blush on my face. Our faces are just a few feet apart now. I lean up slowly and close the gap between our lips. We both engage in a soft, yet passionate kiss. I felt Yuji nibble on my bottem lip making me moan lightly. I open my mouth slightly allowing his tongue to explore my mouth. Both of tongues clash together trying affirm dominance. Our kiss was very passionate and very filled with love.

After a few minutes, we break apart and begin breathing heavily due to running out of air. I place my hands and head against his chest smiling. He wraps his arms around my small body tightly and kisses the top of my head. We stay like that for the rest of the ride.

After we get off of the wheel, we exit the park and get on the train to head home. After about a thirty minute train ride, we get off and begin to walk to my house.

"Thank you for today, Yuji." I said with a loving look.

"Of course, Shana. I'm glad you had fun." He returned the look.

He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a tight embrace, kiss the top of my head. When he pulls back, I stand on my tip toes and place my lips onto his and engage in another soft kiss. After we pull away, I hug Yuji tightly, placing my head against his chest. I feel him begin to caress my hair

"Goodnight, Shana. I'm glad you had fun tonight." He said.

"Goodnight, Yuji."

And with that, he placed one last kiss one my forehead and turned to walk home. We had a very fun day of amusement park today.
