Got Any Ideas?

Jack's P.O.V

Kim and I walked out of our second period class with Eddie, Julie, Milton, Jerry and Taylor following behind us.

"So I was thinking..."

"Well that's a shock." Kim joked, smirking up at me.

"Ha ha, very funny." I replied, rolling my eyes at her before turning and walking backwards, in front of her, "So anyway, what would it take for me to get you to be my girlfriend? I can't wait much longer."

"Haven't I already told you that?" She smirks, crossing her arms as we walked. I still noticed the small smile that came up on her face when I said that.

"Yeah, but give me some detail, I'm sure you can't till we're together." I smirked back, glancing behind me to make sure nothing is in my way.

"Yeah, sure." She mumbled sarcastically, rolling her eyes at me, "Just do something sweet and genuine, to prove that...You actually like me."

"Oh I definitely do." I stated, going back to my place beside her and pecking her cheek.

"You're so lame." She said, laughing at me.

"Well someone's mean." I mumbled, rolling my eyes at her.

"Doesn't change the fact that you're lame." Kim replied, sending me a wink before speeding up and trying to run away from me. I then sped up to catch her, moving further away from the others.

"And we should totally build schools for the dolphins in the rain forest so they can cure baldness. That would be swag." I heard Jerry say and I could imagine the others rolling their eyes.

Kim was giggling as she hurried to get away from me, while I hurried to catch up to her, which I did after another moment. As I reached her, I snaked my arms around her waist and spun her around a bit, both of us laughing loudly in the middle of the hall.

"Okay, okay," She breathed heavily, trying to calm her laughing down, "Put me down now, Jack."

"Nope." I replied, popping the 'P', before pulling her over my shoulder and running to class as she pounded on my back.

"Jack?"

"Yes Kimmy?"

"Can you put me down?"

"Don't feel like it."

"Why not?"

"This is fun."

"Not for me."

"Oh please, I know you love this."

"Honestly, I really don't." She replied, probably rolling her eyes.

"Okay, I'll put you down on one condition."

"I'm not gonna kiss you."

"But-" I began, but was cut off.

"Forget it. I'll just stay like this."

"Told you, you love it."

She hit my back one more time before replying, "Just shut up."

"Fine."

"Good boy." Kim stated, patting my back.

During lunch, the gang and I all sat at our usual table, the gang being Brett, Carson, Brody, Lindsey, Brad, Lorie, Milton, Taylor, Jerry, Julie, Eddie, Kim and I.

"Yo, Eddie," I whispered across the table, causing him to look up, "Can we talk?" He nodded and got up as I turned to Kim,"I'll be right back, babe."

She smiled, pecking my cheek and mumbling, "Sure.".

I got up, then Eddie and I walked out into the hall.

"So what's up?"

"Kim, is what's up. I can't wait any longer bro, I want her to be mine." I replied, stuffing my hands into my pockets while staring down at the ground.

"So tell her that." He suggested.

"I did. This morning. Didn't do much, but it made her smile...And that made me smile." I said, remembering our conversation from earlier today, with a smile on my face.

"Wow..." I heard him mumble, chuckling slightly.

"So you got any ideas?" I asked, looking over at him.

"Hm...Well you could take her on a date."

"I did that last night," I replied, shrugging slightly.

"Oh...You could get her flowers."

"I've done that before too." I told him.

"You could sing her a song."

"We already tried that. Remember, everyone had to cover their ears 'cause I wasn't very good." I reminded him, sighing quietly.

"Oh right. Well, I have no idea man, you've tried everything." He responded, shrugging.

"Except one thing. I know there's something I haven't tried, I just don't know what it is." I whispered to myself, "But I'm gonna find out what it is."
