Kagome gagged as she felt the hit connect with her stomach. She fell to the ground coughing up stomach acid as she glared at her sparring buddy. She winced as she tried to stand, wrapping an arm around her stomach. Once finally standing, she spit one last time, aiming for the laughing jackass.

"You told me not to go easy on you babe," Laxus teased as he allowed his lighting to flicker around her. When she had first mentioned training together, he had been concerned, but he was having a blast. He knew she'd recover quickly from what he was doling out and she'd be stronger for it. After all, he did warn her that he wouldn't go easy. And she wasn't exactly going easy on him either.

"Don't go easy huh," she coughed out before standing up straight.

"Well then," she said smiling while getting in position. "I guess I won't go easy," she said and began to power up.

Laxus gulped at the sight. He didn't know whether to be scared or turned on. Maybe both? Her aura was completely enveloping her now and her hair was beginning to float around her body.

Kagome gave Laxus a sadistic grin and watched as he took a step back in fear. He wouldn't know what hit him. She knew this would finish the fight though because it was going to take a lot out of her but it would be oh so worth it. She hadn't got to see this trick since she arrived in this world.

Laxus quickly took his step back and powered up. He could take anything she threw at him. There was no way that a little slip of a woman could beat him. "Show me what you got, Woman," he taunted. He knew she hated that term for some reason.

Kagome grit her teeth as she pushed her power levels even higher. Her arms begin to spread out and lift to the sky. She was going to take it a bit easy on him but he just had to taunt her.

Once her power was built up enough, she brought her hands down to the ground by crouching and as soon as her hands hit the ground she whispered, "Sit boy!" A pleased smile lit her face as she felt the ground around her shake.

Her eyes widened when she felt the ground starting to crack underneath her hands. It was only then she looked up. "Oh shit," she exclaimed. She had used way too much power. There was a huge crater in the ground and it was getting bigger.

Completely ignoring the crumbling ground, she stood up quickly to look for Laxus. Foolishly she took one step forward and the ground gave way. Vaguely she realized she was falling but she was still in shock.

'What have I done,' she thought as she continued to fall. She suddenly snapped out of her funk. She had someone she had to save.

"Laxus," she screamed out as loud as she could and expanded her power around her, obliterating every rock falling with her.

"No need to shout, Kagome," Laxus said appearing underneath Kagome and catching her. His momentum was taking them to the top of the hole. He used what rocks were left to spring up and over the hole.

It wasn't until they were on the ground that Kagome snapped herself out of her second shock.

"You're okay," she cried out before throwing her arms around Laxus's neck and kissing him before passing out.

Laxus laughed as he held the unconscious woman in his arms. He would never admit how much that spell had truly hurt and had it been a weaker mage she could have seriously injured or killed him. Judging by the look on her face though, she was capable of more damage than she thought, though it would be an interesting spell to see her master.

"Crazy woman," he murmured fondly before trying to walk forward only to pass out as well. Before darkness claimed him completely he only prayed that he woke up first so she wouldn't see, otherwise he would never live it down.

So what do you guys think of this chapter. There will be a few more chapters before they finally join back with the guild. Just rewatching those episodes so I can try to do it correctly.
