She had been so worried over what evil scheme Carly could've possibly come up with that she had lost sleep and ended up walking through the halls on her first day of high school in a lethargic daze. As she struggled to find her homeroom and keep her eyes open at the same time, she had managed to bump into someone, effectively waking her up as she turned to apologize to the other.

"Oof! Oh, I'm sorry, I- you!"

Out of all the freshman of all the high school students of all the people in this building it had to be him. "Katie-Kat! Long time no see."

"If only it had been longer." she muttered. "I can't believe I'm stuck in the same school as you again, Stoll."

He crossed his arms, an evil smirk gracing his lips. She knew that look all too well. It meant that by the end of the week she would end up unwillingly testing out some new horrible prank idea forming in his mind. "You should consider yourself lucky. Not many people get the chance to breathe the air around me so often."

She waved a hand in front of her nose, inwardly scoffing. "Those people should consider themselves fortunate. I can practically smell your stupid prank ideas coming off you."

"All for you Katie-dear, all for you."

"So, I see you guys are still bickering with each other as always. Katie did you accept that guy's invitation?" Carly asked as she walked up to them, holding hands with the bane of her existence's brother. They had been together since middle school and practically acted like a married couple already. It was endearing but why, oh why did it have to be his brother?

She looked at her friend, confusion clearly etched across her face with a very unsettling, suspicious feeling that Carly was putting this plan of hers into action. The guy asked, "Who's invitation?"

Before her friend could answer, she quickly turned to him and said, "None of your business Stoll. Carly, I can't believe you just told him about it!" SHUT UP CARLY BEFORE I RIP YOUR HAIR OUT.

"About what? What's going on?" the guy's brother asked. Her friend's eyes lit up and she knew they had all fallen right into her trap. "Didn't you guys hear? Katie was asked out by a guy over the summer!"

She tackled Carly outside school grounds after the final bell had rung that day.

"Ow!" her friend rubbed the back of her head as she glared back up at her. "What was that for? I'm going to get grass stains on these jeans thanks to you."

They had agreed to meet at a field of grass near the school to walk home together so it wasn't like she had tackled her friend into some concrete pavement. Though there were times she wished she had. "You know what that was for! What the crap were you spouting about this morning? I told you Logan is just a friend! He likes another girl for goodness sakes!"

Her friend merely smirked. It reminded her of the guy and his expression this morning. She suddenly understood why his brother had taken such a liking to her friend. It all made sense.

"Relax Katie," her friend waved her hand around in the air in a carefree manner. This was a pretty big contrast from the other, who was beginning to feel like she was entering cardiac arrest. "This is all part of the plan."

"Your plans suck!" she exclaimed, "what could telling him a lie about my summer have to do with your ridiculous plan?"

Her friend simply smirked again. "All in good time. All in good time."

Hullo guise! Greetings from somewhere on Earth because I am way too paranoid to tell you my current location. I finally updated though, hope it wasn't too long of a month for you. I've been... bumming on couches and trying to find air conditioning and wifi because summer turns me into a bucket of sweat. Any lucky Southern hemisphere-ers in winter out there?

Thanks to everyone who followed, favorited and reviewed! Hope you've enjoyed reading this fic so far.

If you haven't followed, favorited, and all that ish, or you're new to this fic, if you enjoyed reading and want updates, you know what to do! ^_^

In response to some reviews:

-I had originally chosen Logan as the guy's name because it sounded right but then I thought of Logan Lerman and decided to throw Alexandria in this mess. Because who doesn't like Percabeth parallels? Puppy molesters that's who.

-I say less than three because if you draw a less than sign, then a 3, its like a little heart, so it's just a different way of saying I heart you guise for supporting this work and for being your bootiful/handsome awesome selves.

Hope that clears things up! Have a nice Saturday!

Less than three,

PalmerPie
