Dinner/Party

When class indeed let out, everyone ran for it except for Naruto and I, we waited for them to leave so we may go in peace. Sasuke was the last to go before us and so stopped at the door to turn towards us with a look of confusion.

"Aren't you guys coming?"

"Yeah, just waiting for the hallway to quiet down"

"Why"

"I want our last day in this class to end in quietness, unlike the first day I came here" chuckling, Sasuke walked out with a wave.

"So what's the plan?" Naruto asks as he turns to me and I leaned back in my chair.

"Well, first off: we'll go to a nice restaurant and it'll be my treat. And" I held up my hand as Naruto is about to refuse "I don't want to hear nothing about it. Today is a celebration and I want to celebrate it together, plus I still have lots of money left over from my last withdrawal. So no buts about it ok?" Naruto nodded with a smile.

"Second, after we digested our meal with a long walk back to our place; you're gonna help me with the setup of my new entertainment center that I stashed away some days ago. After that is done, we chill and watch movies all night"

"So…a slumber party?" Naruto stood up and started stretching, I stood up also.

"More like a pajama party" I smiled and slung an arm around his shoulders as we walked down the steps.

"I've never been invited for a pajama party, well actually I never been invited for anything" and that just broke my heart so as I looked at Naruto's sullen face. A little squeeze and Naruto looked at me.

"As I said once and yes I'll always say it again and again: there a first for everything and it will most likely be with me" Walking through the entrance, we saw the sights of parents congratulating their children on a job well gone and graduating. I felt Naruto sigh at the sights and so gave another squeeze.

"You have me now, Naruto and we are going to celebrate tonight" Naruto smiled as we walked around the group and away from the celebratory of the group but not before I heard the disturbing conversation and I hoped Naruto didn't hear.

"I can't believe they let him graduate"

"I know. To let that thing be able to be a Shinobi is outrageous"

"Good thing he doesn't have any parents" and they would of said more when Sasuke intervene.

"And what's so good about having no parents" came his scorn to the 2 ladies and they looked at him flabbergasted.

"Sasuke-san, we didn't mean you. Just that" and got cut off again with a glare from Sasuke.

"I know who you meant and it pisses me off when people like you say that about someone who worked so hard to achieve something they always wanted. And for your information: I have no parents, Naruto has no parents and that girl with him also has no parents. So unless you lose your parents, then I suggest you keep your trap shut about us if you know what's good for you" and with that he walked off, well ran off to catch up with us.

"Naruto, Roxanne; wait up" and we did.

"Can I join you?" I looked at Naruto for any objections and what I found was a smile instead.

"Sure Sasuke!" I smiled and wrapped an arm around Sasuke's shoulders, with the gasps from his fan girls behind us, and we took off to find a suitable restaurant.

"Thanks for standing up for Naruto" I whispered in Sasuke's ear. He blush a deep red before nodding.

Letting Sasuke choose the place to eat, we settled in and got the waiter to take our drink order: mostly water as we are still underage. Looking through the menu, Naruto 'eep'ed when he saw the prices and nudged me,

"These prices are insane. How are we going to pay for all this?" Gesturing to the menu's

"Correction: how am I going to pay for all this? And don't worry, it's my treat, remember" Winking at a flustered Naruto but got cut off by a cough from Sasuke.

"Um, if it's ok with all of you, I like it to be my treat" all eyes on him "I mean, I invited myself, so it's only fair that I pay"

"Ok" came Naruto's reply but I held my hand up.

"Sasuke, it won't be fair to pay for everything when this meal is about us graduating. So how about we both split the bill so everyone is happy. Agreed"

"Ok" "Sounds great"

Dinner went fine and dandy, with the dessert cart finally empty and Sasuke staring at Naruto and me with wide eyes as we smiled back.

Paying for the bill, we took off and took a long walk around the village, talking about anything and everything. I told the story of that time we took a nap at the top of the hill by Kiba's house and how Naruto took all of us down with him when we climbed back down. Sasuke and Naruto laughed at that. Sasuke told the story of one time when he stole a batch of cookies from his auntie's window sill and he only got caught with the empty plate and crumbs around his lips. Naruto and I laughed at that when Sasuke said he was like 3 at the time and he really wanted a cookie. Naruto kept quiet but laughed at our stories.

I saw Sasuke about to ask Naruto about it when I poked him and shook my head at him. I mouthed 'later' to him and he gave a quick nod.

As we came to our building, we began climbing the steps when Naruto noticed that Sasuke wasn't coming.

"Hey, aren't you coming up?" and before Sasuke could decline, I spoke up.

"Of course he's coming up. What a pajama party with just 2 people? Besides, Sasuke can help with the setup" I turned and continued on but could still hear what is being said behind me.

"Setup?"

"Oh yea, we are going to setup Roxanne's entertainment unit and watch movies"

"Entertainment unit?" Naruto clapped him on the back.

"You'll see" and they both continued on behind me as I smiled.

When we reached the landing of my floor and I pulled out my keys, did Sasuke exclaim out loud.

"Wait a minute. Pajama party?"

"Quick, ain't he" I mocked and Naruto sniggered next to me. "Yes a pajama party and no you cannot back out and you will be wearing one of Naruto's pjs as I know he still have a lot somewhere in his massive closet"

"You have a closet?" Sasuke ask turning to Naruto in question.

"Yeah, Roxanne got me these clothes and said I needed a closet to hold them. It's the same one Roxanne has" I unlocked the door and open it, to show a couple big boxes lying around.

"So…we are spending the night together?" and when Sasuke asked that, I turn to see both the boy's faces blush a nice color of pink in realization.

"It's a good thing I have a very large bed. Now, open these boxes and take out all the foam and plastics while I make room to install it. Leave the smallest box on the side for later" Then I remembered one main thing and popped out a clone. It knew what to do and so went to the kitchen and grabbed a beer for me, popped it open and handed to me.

"Is that beer?" Naruto ask and made Sasuke stop to look too.

"Nice and cold beer, yes" taking a sip, I set t down as I moved items of clothing from the wall across form my bed to the other wall on the side of my bed. Leaving the dresser, as it is a lower one not a high one and began hanging and rearranging clothes. I hear silence while I do this and so peaked through my door to see the boys in thought.

"Can I have one?" Came Naruto's voice and Sasuke snapped his attention to the question.

"Naruto?!"

"What?"

"Sure, in the fridge and keep working guys, I wanna be able to watch movies before my beer gets too cold" and so went back to my work as I hear Naruto snickering and went to grab a beer.

When I made enough room and had a couple more sips, I went to check on the boys to see that Sasuke is in deep thought, staring at the wall and Naruto is smiling while finishing.

"Sasuke?" he turned to me and I smiled. "You can try one if you want" turning back to the wall, Sasuke began chewing his lower lip and I smiled with Naruto as I asked him to bring in the TV. In the minutes that Naruto and I worked in putting the TV on my dresser and plugging it in to the socket, we could distinctly hear Sasuke getting up and moving to the TV and smiled at one another. A pop later, Sasuke stood in the doorway of my room, staring at the cold beer in his hand. Bringing it to his lips, Sasuke tried a tiny sip and looked at the can as he swallowed. We watched in fascination at the last of the Uchiha clan swirled the taste around in his mouth and waited at the edge of our toes, so to speak as both Naruto and I were crouched next to the stand. The scene was so suspenseful…..until Sasuke shrugged and took a good sip, which ruin the scene BUT we converted another to drink beer and that happens to be great. Naruto and I high-five and continued on with the plug-ins as Sasuke threw the boxes outside my front door.

Idle chit chatters here and there as we finished our can of beers and finished with the setup. Both boys looked on in awe at the flat screen 42'' TV and DVD player with surround sound speakers at one side of my closet while I grabbed some more pillows. Throwing them on the bed as I walked around the boys and went to the kitchen to get the snacks and tossing them at the foot of the bed. Searching through the cupboards for a cooler OR a big round bowl for ice and beer, the boys snapped out of their reverie and noticed what I am doing.

"Hey, what cha doing?" Naruto wondered out loud as he came around to see what I am up to.

"Check that cabinet for a cooler or large bowl" Naruto went over and began rummaging.

"Why" Sasuke asks but before I can answer, Naruto exclaimed in victory.

"Found it!"

"Awesome, Fill it with ice and bring it to the room. Sasuke, there's one last small box to open, so open it and pick a movie. I'm going to grab the beer" Everyone got to work, and soon everything is set up for the party, except.

"OK, you boys run upstairs and change and I'll do the same here. Be back in 10 minutes" With that, I picked up a random pajama pants and headed to the bathroom to changes. Hearing the boys take off, I changed quickly and went to the kitchen to get the 12 pack, minus 3 and tossed those in with the ice. Looking at the mountain of snack at the foot of the bed, I thought whether it was too much.

"And what we looking at?" Sasuke as looking over my shoulder and Naruto stood behind him.

"Is it too much?" Gesturing to the room in question

"Too much TV, too much room, too much beer, too much snack or just too much in general?" Sasuke replied and both Naruto and I looked at me in bewilderment. It made him laughed too and that just confused us more, but the sound of Sasuke laughing is good.

"I think you should lay off on the beer for a bit. One just might be enough for you" and made Naruto snicker "When you see us (gesturing to Naruto and I) finishing off a third beer then you may have another one"

"Come on! That's not fair. Why do you guys have more than I could when the 3 of us can evenly finish that pack?" Pouting, though he may deny it, and stamping his feet like a 2 year old. So cute, and by the suppressed smile Naruto is trying to hide, he thinks so too.

"Point. Alright BUT if I see you staggering or slurring you words, I'm cutting you off, deal" Clapping me on the shoulders, Sasuke nodded and sat on one side of the bed.

"Light weight?" Naruto asks and I shrugged, we won't know until a couple more cans. So I grabbed the remote, sat next to Sasuke while Naruto sat next to me and pressed play of whatever movie Sasuke picked.

"Where were you able to get these movies?" Passing a beer to me that I passed to Naruto as one more got passed to me

"Oh, I got a dealer in America that collects great movies and once in a while I buy whichever ones they tire of" Popping open the can, we all sat back and enjoyed a cold one with a movie.
